evening all, all the ladies in the tww-fingers still crossed af stays away...thanks for all the good wishes, expecting to get the results of bt tomorrow, could hardly walk into the pathology today-my foot is swollen & so sore,i have no idea what i have done to it...
-
Hi guys, just stopping in briefly before I go to bed.
AF arrived yesterday while I was in the emergency department. Was somewhat embarrassing too.
My hip has been playing up something chronic for the past week, and yesterday it got to the point where I couldn't walk, sit down, lie down, stand up, kneel, sleep or do anything at all without being in agony and none of the pain relief we have at home was working.
So anyway, went to emergency yesterday afternoon, saw a really nice lady doctor (Aussie too, usually we only have those foreign doctors that you can hardly understand in our local emergency department lol) and she did a few tests (first time any doctor has done those tests on my hip, and it's been 2 years exactly now since I started having trouble with it).
So lady doctor thinks I need to see a rheumatic specialist as I don't have full feeling on one part of my front upper thigh and hip, and have quite severe pain elsewhere on my thigh, hip and lower back on the left hand side (it's the left hip that's playing up btw).
Left there at 8:30 last night with a pack of tramadol... which seems to be working a bit (at least well enough that I can actually get to sleep at night lol).
Booked in to see my doctor on friday (was booked in for 2 weeks time to discuss TTC and MC issues, but managed to change it to an earlier one) so I can discuss my hip & TTC/MC issues with him at the same time.
Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm going to be taking a bit of a break from BB for the next 2 weeks until I get close to O again.
Sending lots of sticky vibes & baby dust out to everyone!!!
-
jennajayen-sorry af came, glad to hear you were able to get into the dr sooner, hope the pain relief keeps doing it's job....
-
hi everyone, takes me so long to catch up but i am always on here to check out who is getting their bfps. very sorry for lack of persies, i have so much work i should be doing, i feel like i have no time.
Reet - i would say try the vitex, it worked out really well for me. i just got the natures own PMS essentials, which is a hormone balancing formula. worked really well for me, and wasn't too expensive.
t-hopes thanks for asking about me :) i do pop in here all the time but it always takes me so long to catch up i never have time for persies. I would say about the pulse thing, that is so strange. i have been noticing the past few days that my pulse in my neck really sticks out (you know on the sides). i was thinking i don't remember ever seeing this before. maybe that is why.
jenna sorry af arrived, and hope you get your hip sorted out.
Matthew's Mum a big :crossfingers: for your bt tomorrow.
Iona Macca i hope af stays away...
to everyone in the tww good luck, and hello to all my friends, crafty (you sound like you have your positive attitude back), murraycod, ferrals (your symptoms are looking good), ttalc, and everyone else i hope you get your bfps soon!!!
afm, not feeling so good about work tomorrow, a girl is bringing in her baby that was due the same time as me :( i hope i manage ok. the in-laws were supposed to be coming over from the uk this weekend, but not sure when they will come now with all the flights cancelled. other than that i am looking on the bright side. i will be 14 weeks this week. all my ultrasounds have gone well. so just trying to stay positive.
-
Thanks for that scarypinkfairy! im sold! im choofing off to get some vitex tomoro :)
-
Hi everyone,
Jumping on quickly before bed got a busy few days ahead so not sure when I'll be back.
MatthewsMum - fingers crossed for you lovely. Be wonderful to have you as our first BFP for this new thread.
Ferrals - thanks for the info on Vitex. I'm going to talk to my Chinese medicine doc about it because I don't have high enough progesterone in the second part of my cycle and she thinks this is contributing to my inability to fall pg (but mainly thinks it's the blocked tube with low level infection causing embies not to stick). I'm keen to try this Vitex out - very helpful, thanks. Great work organising the IVF and knowing how these things can go, once you have plan B, bingo! plan A will work out just fine. Here's hoping. Hope the TWW goes quick, sorry about the pimples, and you must be v. excited to have Mowgli coming home soon. Gorgeous little fur baby.
Iona-Macca - could it be implantation bleed? Hope so.
Millyd - so sad for you with this deadline and I hope you get your BFP quick smart or your DH changes his mind. Maybe he just needs a little break? Hugs to you. That's interesting about the pulse...the Chinese doc I've just started seeing told me I had a slippery pulse last week! I'll have to ask her what she means by it (no way I can be pg as my one tube is blocked and my levels are v. low and AF due). Interesting!
Kit - I think you'd make a great psychologist - your posts are always so thoughtful.
T-hopes, I started to download Vampire Diaries (it was good and I liked it) but I got really hooked on True Blood and that was it, I had to see them all. I read all the books in about two weeks - they are light going and good fun and the series was great though some of the characters are better in the books. Completely different to Twilight, which I loved, and the Ann Rice vampire books but great all the same.
Oh MurryCod, I wish I could say something reassuring about that biopsy. I'm hoping you don't find it as bad as you are fearing.
TTCaLC - your schedule makes me tired just reading it! Fingers crossed you have a sneaky BFP, that'd be so great. Good luck with the op and glad you'll have some extra hands around to help out.
Bons - you poor thing - I do that cleaning thing too when I'm restless. Maybe book yourself a massage or something fun?
Loops - fingers crossed - that'd be great news. It's so frustrating waiting for AF when most of the time we can't wait to see the back of her! Hope you're in for a big surprise!!
Reet - If you can afford it I'd see them both. It's always good to get a second opinion and they tend to balance each other but it's not easy forking out the cash for it I know. Hope the Vitex works for you - I'm keen to try it too.
Possum - hope you get plenty of bubs to come too!
Jenna - sorry to read about your hip, that must be agony. I hope you can get some relief from it.
SPF - That would be hard seeing the bub on your little one's due date :( Ouch. Congrats on being 14wks - sounds like everything is going well but must always be a bit anxious after experiencing a loss. Stay positive
AFM - had a good session yesterday - a different counselor but really lovely. I told her things had been a bit fraught, especially since I started this new diet (I threw a roll of toilet paper at my poor DH because he forgot to get me some soy milk which I don't even like! poor man). She said "ah yes, nutritional psychosis!" That made me laugh. I'm really glad to be going, it's just six sessions but good to have the extra support once the next cycle starts. Just waiting for AF to arrive any day now then got to take the dreaded pill for a month (hate that bit) so looking like early June by which time I'll be in here all alone 'cause you'll have all gotten your BFPs and moved on. Go on, get out of here before I throw something at you too!
Alice x

Hi girls'
Just got home from work and popped in to see how mathews mum went on her BT but wouldn't you know it blasted pathology takes it's sweet time good luck tomorrow mathews mum you can do it i have a good feeling.
Reet-No worries i hope it works for you to.
SPF-i am happy for you and jealous at the same time 14 weeks how time flys i have been in here way to long all my friends have come after me and are leaving before me.
Alice-you make me laugh! and i hope the vitex can help you to my naturopath said it is great for the 2nd half of cycle but you can take it the whole cycle to balance hormones if needed.
And don't worry i will post pictures of Mowgli when i get him.
That's it for me i am soooo tired i need to be up in 6 hours so need some sleep.
Nothing much happening other than really sore boobs and some minor cramping but that can just be hormonal and the way my skin looks at the moment i'd say hormonal DH has a good feeling that this month is the month for us and i must say right now i have a good feeling i hope it last's.
NITE NITE.

Hi ladies! I just popped in to see how you are all doing and spread some baby dust around. I keep checking for your names in the pG announcement section. I do hope you all have some good luck really soon.
Plodding along myself. 6 months and still feeling ill, but things are going well and only 13 more weeks to go! I really hope to see you guys in PAMCL soon.
-
Good Morning Everyone!
Alice & T-hopes: (ooh a double!) OMG I love TrueBlood! The books and the series are quite different, but I like them both. DH and I are just starting the 2nd season of TrueBlood, Eric's started heating up :) I really think vampires and BB is what's gonna get me through this, lol. T-hopes try it! It's a bit more adult than Vamp diaries and Twilight, but it's still a whole new world with sexy vampires (and that's what counts).
Hi TwinSister: We were in the same belly buddies group, glad to know your going well :)
TTCALC: LOL, that's really cute, matching is important. Sorry your out this month, glad you feel ok about it though, that baby will come when it's ready :)
Ferrals: I hope this is the month, we need to get your ass out of here! This is the trifecta month remember! I'm glad your feeling good, hold onto that feeling!
Alice: Thanks sweet :) I was reading something by the Mars and Venus guy, it was a nutritional book of some kind, and I remember he said that when women get hungry or nutritionally deprived then their serotonin drops significantly. He recommended dark chocolate with berries in it to raise it back up. Does that fit with the diet? (I have a friend who threw a pedestal fan out the window cos her DH forgot to get food for dinner and she was hungry and home late, toilet roll shows restraint)
SPF: Thinking of you today babe, hope it goes ok *hugs*
JennaJayen: Booo for AF! I'm sorry sweetheart! I hope your doc appt goes well and you get some answers xo
MatthewsMum: Thinking of you today, hope you get the results! xo
Loops: I hope tummy pains are a baby getting all snug! Fingers crossed babe
Reet: Good luck with the vitex! I might add it to my exhaustive tablet list next month, lol.
AFM, temping sucks, lol. My temps aren't rising yet, and I had EWCM on sun and mon, so I'm really hoping I get a massive temp rise tomorrow. Still BD'ing every night just in case. My friend had a neg HPT but is waiting on bloods, so still unknown. Not sure how I feel about it. At the moment my baby energy is taken up by wanting to know if I'm O'ing or not, come on temp rise!
-
I have everything crossed for you today Matthew's mum.
I am about lurking but rarely posting. There are so many of us in here its very sad.
-
Fingers, toes and evrything crossed MM, let us know when you can
love love love to all
xxxx
-
TTCALC-sorry AF turned up hopefully after surgery you will fall pregnant a.s.a.p.
And when my kids were little i was like that dressed them in clothes that went together and had to lay them out for the next day if their father was looking after them while i was at work otherwise they would have looked like no one owned them.
Hi twin sis.
Kitfaerie-I want out of here every month that gos past i lose hope.
And the tempting is a pain in the butt i do it anyway just to know for sure what my body is doing i am having a steady rise since i O'd i had dropped down to 35.5 the day before i O'd and it has risen nicely the last few days to 36.7 today i hope it hit's the 37ish mark and stays there that is what my temp gets to when i am pregnant.
Mathewsmum-:crossfingers:
AFM-Murrycod you would be proud of me i made my appointment for the 26th of May with a FS at westmead hospital i could have got in this month but decided to wait until the end of May to give it the full 6 month's ttc at least we have a plan if we cant get pregnant ourselves.
I still feel like a failure when i have always fallen pregnant so easy i am not liking it to much but i have no other choice.
-

Help!
girls - im stressing cause i called up about my progesterone results this morn9 Done on day22) and the receptionist gave me the level but she had no idea what it ment! the doc wasnt there and he will call me tonight!
my question is.... is 72.8 normal??? for day 22 of my cycle??
Ahhhhh! Help!!!! Should i be panicing? Cause i am!!!
-
THopes- I used to work for an obs/gynae and he was happy with anything over 15 so your result is excellent!
Good luckFerals and millyd- great signs, I so hope you girls are lucky, the rest of us will follow not long after hopefully!!
AFM: AF came yesterday and starting clomid earlier this month to see if that does the trick, have a great day eveyone xx
-
T-hopes a progesterone level of that shows you have ovulated. It can't tell you much more then that but its a good level for your luteal phase. You probably also have ovulated around a week from the level as your progesterone will gradually go up for a few days after O and its quiet a bit higher then the just O'd level so I'd say your at least a few days post ovulation at minimum. But you could be much further past O also. But thats all I can say for a level like that. Its very normal and definately not a low level for that stage of your cycle.
Saffy hope the clomid does the trick this new cycle.
millyd FX for you also for a bfp. Then you and Ferrals can have the same EDDs or there abouts.
-
afternoon everyone ,ferrals & millyd-sounding good for you both....scarypinkfairy-hope today wasn't too hard on you ,hugs...alice-glad the councilling sessions are going well...ttcalovechild-sorry about negative results...twinsister-good to hear a update from you...t-hopes- i think the progesterone level is a good sign...saffy-good luck with the clomid...afm-got the results,it was negative,so sad to have lost another embie baby, feelihg guilty that i my have done something wrong, the nurse said to ring when next months af arrives & they'll start to track cycle to try frozen embryo transfer in May.Thank you all so much for being there with kind thoughts & comments, got to go get a tissue now

Matthews mum ~ Im so sorry this one didnt stick :comfort: Hang in there and all the best for May.
AFM ~ still getting weird pains but perhaps its just AF coming. Ive never charted my BBT so am thinking of purchasing a termometer from BB, has anyone else bought one from BB or where have you bought yours?
Hi everyone else
Much love and babydust, stickyvibes.
Lou xo
-
MM, so sorry darling, I wish it had been your turn, hold on to your heart and love yourself dearly. I wish none of us had to know this pain
xxxxxxxx
-
Sorry to hear that Matthew'sMum, you must be very disappointed, of course you didn't do anything wrong, it is out of our control, don't feel guilty xx
Loops- I bought a themometer from the chemist, to be honest I'm too slack to temp correctly and then get stupid results, you probably have more discipline than me! good luck hon xx
-
Mattewsmum so sorry about your result I had a few tears too as I know how hard you have been trying month after month, But hey you still have embies so hurry up AF and lets get them transfered and go again!
Ferrals sounds good, still not sure what my old body is up to went to muffin break today for my ususal milk shake and choc chip muffin, well after 2 bites I felt soo sick then my milk shake tasted funny and the women sitting across from me well her perfume was so strong all I could smell was this cheap perfume ! had a few niggly twinges in my boobies again but hey you know how it is still 50 50 but I am praying for us both !
-
MM - Im so very sorry it wasnt the result we were all hoping for, I dont know what else to say....You are in my thoughts xxx
Ferrals & Millyd - My fingers are crossed for you xxx
Alice - I agree with Kitf, a toilet role was showing restraint! Hope you're feeling better about your eating changes and DH remembers the soy milk next time ;)
Loops - I have nfi about temping but let us know how you go, other ladies say it helps!
Saffy - Good Luck with the clomid! We will be here when crazy saffy comes out:lol:
Hugs to everyone I have missed.....
Missing SVN.....we need a laugh!
AFM - Just waiting to O and hoping my DH is here for it and not too exhausted to DTD Have been joking with him about a syringe and a cup  but now im thinking seriously about it!!!
xxx
-
thanks everyone for your lovely supportive words...craftymummy-your symptoms sounds promising..afm-even though dr have said that i wont fall pregnant naturally now with my tubal problems,i'm still going to buy the opk & try this month,after15 months of ttc,i feel i can't just miss a month.
-
Loops: fingers crossed for you
Mathew's Mum: so sorry that the embie didn't stay with you. I'm sure you've done nothing wrong but i know how hard it is to remind yourself of that. After my mc my Dr told me very clearly: "This is not your fault". I automatically thought "yes yes I know that". But Iater I'd find myself thinking maybe it was my fault because I did this or that or the other. And every time i'd remember my dr's words "It's not your fault". So...it was a very wise thing of him to say. I hope you will keep reminding yourself it's not your fault.
Millyd: thanks for your lovely words and i am soooo  you get your bfp this month so you don't have to deal with that deadline.
Jenna: sorry for AF. Hope you feel better soon
SPF: great to hear you are 14wks. But i know it's still hard to meet babies due when yours was. That happened to me last week. I felt sad and a bit wierd...like i was having to 'fake it' a bit in terms of saying all the right happy things to the mother. Hope your meeting goes ok.
ALice: good on you for courage in talking to someone. lol at idea of nutritional psychosis!
TTCALC: wow you are organised! Very impressive. Good luck with everything you have on this week.
Kit: interested in your experience re EWCM. Mine is also good ATM, 2 days before O is due. Wasn't sure how much in advance of O EWCM starts.
Bons: hope your DH is around to 'drown' the egg (to quote someone else)! I can see how the syringe would be tempting but i'm not sure it works unless it's pretty close in time to when DH DTD...in which case you'd be together anyway and wouldn't need the syringe. (I might be wrong...OThers might like to correct my biological knowledge!)
Hi to everyone else i missed
AFM Going to do another OPK tonight. Got 'nada' last night... Only one line. BUt it is a bit early.
-
Matthews Mum :grouphug: I am so so sorry, my heart dropped for you when I read your post. You haven't done anything wrong, if only we could control things that much, then we wouldn't be here! Please be gentle with yourself, and take things easy for the next week. Your body has been through alot, not to mention your emotions, let yourself grieve and honour the time you've had with your precious little embie, no matter how short. I wish so much I could make things different for you. You'll have MurryCod and I to keep you company in May but don't 'think about that now. Lots of love to you xx Alice
-
Mathewsmum-so sorry it wasn't ment to be i was hopeful all we can do is keep trying we are all here for each other.
Possum magic-LOL it's the only thing i could think of to describe how more poor old egg would be after all the BDing hope you get your pos OPK soon.
Will be back later for more persies but just thought i'd tell you today DH and i went to play with Mowgli the breeder has 11 kittens from 2 litters and once a week i go over to play with them until i bring my furbaby home anyway all are sold except 2 mowgli's sister and one other.
she was the pick of the litter almost bald almost no coat at all but very fine rippled fur you can hardly see with a blue cream speakled colour she is so shy and gentle and just watches the other kittens play so no one has brought her anyway today while i was there she came over to me and wanted a cuddle and then had a little play with DH she is soooo gentle the lady said she would love to keep her for herself but has to many breeding pairs so my DH picks up Mowgli and says would you like your little sister to come home with us aswell and pulls out the $600 dollars and pays for her and says we have 2 dogs that keep each other company so we have to have 2 cats to keep each other company and she is so affectionate we have to take her home.
So now we have 2 furbabies coming home next Friday we just have to come up with a name that suits her and not tell my mother how much we have paid for them she would kill me.
She is the little blue girl
