Maddison - It's good to see you around. I missed you. I'm feeling pretty numb to be honest. Occasionally I find myself thinking something such as "I must put that aside for the baby" and then I remember there isn't one. It's just so strange to go through that range of emotions and planning in such a brief period. I did hope to try again this month but I have no idea what my body is doing.
Emmy - I saw you on the pregnancy board during our very brief experience there. I hope you find some comfort with the lovely ladies on this thread.
Chickybabe - I think it is wise to wait. There isn't anything that the hospital could do and the experience there is depressing and stressful. I still believe your bub could be the sticky one.
-
Hello girls,
I have been lurking for a couple of days, you seem to be a great bunch of girls and I would love to join your thread.
My DH and I miscarried at 8wks in March 09 after 4 long years of trying so very hard to have a baby.
Last month we went through our first month of IUI with injections but I gof AF on Friday we were very deflated, tonight we began injections again for our second try.
:angelic: Im addicted to POAS too early, and read too much into the FAKE bfp's I get when I still have Pregnyl in my system.............Got my hopes up 13dpiui when I got bfp......the nurse warned me....but I didn't listen....NEG!!!!
Promise I wont this month (didn't have my toes crossed)
Chicky you are in my prayers thisevening I hope you are well x
-
eliselouise85 - Ha ha that's funny. Yep I'm all the way on the other side of the world. I'm so thankful we are having nice weather right now to help distract me a little. It's hard to be sad when there are naked little children running around having fun.....unless of course you're surrounded by pregnant people who can't stop talking about pregnancy.
starangelk - The wait is hard, I know. Good luck with your BT. I hope your levels have dropped. AS for your pregnant friend I know how hard that is too. It's very kind of you to let her gush about her pregnancy and not scare her with your story of M/C but it would probably be easier on you if she knew.
LladyR - I'm holding out for good news from you on Thursday
Emmy, Bookworm, & Murraycod - I'm so sorry to hear about your losses. I'm sure you'll find this thread as welcoming and supportive as I have. It's so sad to see so many people joining this thread, though it's nice to be able to chat with you all.
Zeppy - of course it's ok to grieve a chemical pregnancy. It was still a pregnancy and it's still sad that it didn't stick. Its hard to get that close to what you want so badly and then have it taken away. It will happen for you though, very soon i hope
-
Hi All,
Hope everyone is haveing an ok day today.
Zeppy - Its is ok to grieve for a loss no matter how far along you were. A loss is a loss if you are a 4 weeks or 6 months. It still hurts. I hope you are getting lots of support.
Emmy 83 - I hope your hcg level drop soon and you are able to start ttc again soon. I hope the testing is able to either give you some answers or give you the all clear to keep ttc a sticky bundle.
Chickybabe - lots and lots of :stickyvibesgirl: I understand waiting to see the friendly lady at the clininc. Some health professionals make you feel like crap and its so wrong. I hope the bleeding has lightened today. The symptoms sound promising. Are you still doing HPTs or just waiting it out?
Bookworm - Sorry for your loss. I hope you are feeling ok today. The mini trampoline sounds like a great idea.
Eliselouise - Have you tested again? I cant remember when af was due for you?? :pink-babydust:
Twinsister - I hope you are feeling ok today. Im thinking of you.
Coco- Missing your posts. I hope you are feeling good for having a little break. Dont be gone too long. Or even better... Get a BFP and dont come back! I say that with love!!
SammyP - I so hope you get a sticky bub on your very next cycle. Its becoming very clear the last few weeks that although lots of BFPs have come about that there has been equally as much sad news too. I hope your days start to get brighter and you are getting heaps of love and support irl.
Murraycod - A false BFP would of been awful. Im sorry you had to go through that. I know i wouldnt be able to wait to test either.
Hi to Cherished, Sunbeam, Tina, Sunny, Ferrals and everyone else out there that i have missed.
:bluedust: :stickyvibesgirl: :pink-babydust: :stickyvibesboy: to all
So cant wait to see some more :bellygrowing: in here!

Thanks for the welcomes. Maddison I do hope my HCG drops soon so things are back on track for future cycles. Will be going back to the Dr tomorrow or friday to confirm they are dropping and not rising. Ive had some major cramps as if something wants to come out but nothing again. I'm sure its not over yet.
Chickybabe sending sticky vibes to you. Have you had any bleeding in your past pregnancies?
bookworm12 Hope your cycle is now back to normal. I think I need to wait til an official AF before ttc again as what I had this last week didn't seem enough. Maybe next one will be and Ill be good to try again.
-
Hi Everyone !
Maddison - I am basically waiting this out - it's torture ! I havent done any HPT's since we got our +ive. I am pretty sure if i did it will still show up as +ive atm cause i still have HCG in my system. Tomorrow when i ring i am going to ask for another BT and they can combine that with the scan results they give me on Monday i spose.
Emmy - I have never had bleeding like this before. My 4 other pregnancies were fine (except for my loss in April - which was fine up til that point). It is really weird and i guess there is something wrong somewhere. I keep thinking that maybe this little one just isnt strong enough to hold on. Maybe it was already a weak spermie by the time it met up with my eggie ? I dont know - i am just clutching at straws - trying to work out why !
Sorry TMI:
Loss has now gone to light brown again - so has eased up and cramping has slowed down a bit too.
I was just talking to my DH and filling him in on whats happening today and i said to him that this has been the longest two and a bit weeks ever - its just up and down and i am drained ! I just want to know one way or the other. I said - if i am going to M/C then i wish it would hurry up and happen - i know that sounds horrible but this is killing me. It is so cruel ! I definitely cant feel happy atm.
Today i feel quite nauseas - so i hope thats a really good sign that my levels are rising enough.
Well - now i have depressed you all - i will go and wallow in my own self pity....
Thankyou for your support
Sorry this has been all about me but i am in a really bad head space atm.
Hopefully i will feel better and come back later and be more positive !
I really do hope you are all well !
:stickyvibesgirl: and :bluedust:

Chickybabe I know how you feel. The not knowing part was one of the hardest parts of my m/c. I was having serious anxiety during my week of spotting from not knowing what was going on and I felt sick to my stomach from worrying. Once I knew for sure I had M/C I was devastated but physically I felt a lot better as I could stop worrying about what was happening and start the grieving process. I'm hoping you get some good news though at the Dr. I'm sending you lots of sticky vibes.
Thanks Maddison :)

Hi all
Just a quick question..
I know I ovulated from my left ovary last month and I had my period which was only for 2 days and I am still having pains from that ovary :dunno: I have feelings like I am pregnant even though I know that is scientifically impossible, but what would that pain be do you know??
It feels like ovulation pains or something. I m not ovulating, I just find it odd that I am still having those pains. Stupid body.. :wtf:
-
Coco - Not sure on the pain but i guess you could still be pregnant. You should test just in case. You can get breakthrough bleeding when your af should of been due.
-
Yeah I tested yesterday midday-ish and it was negative.
Also My temps are no where near where they would be if I would be pregnant. Just wonder if the corpus luteum is still there or somethin..
-
Starangel, there's nothing wrong with pizza every now and then. Blue cheese pizza sounds yummy!
Emmy83 and murraycod, I'm so sorry for your losses.
Chickybabe, hang in there, and I'm hoping for a good outcome.
I'm going to be sore tomorrow, I walked on the mini tramp for 20 minutes tonight. I also tried to be "good" at work and ate cucumber slices and a lowfat cheese stick for snacking instead of the usual junk out of the vending machine. Cutting out the junk food is going to be harder than I thought.
AF is much lighter than usual, if it's really AF. Has anyone else had a lighter AF the first time after the m/c?
-
Bookworm - Yes, my AF was lighter after the last miscarriage. Normally I have to change my pad every couple of hours in the first two days but this time it was only twice a day.
-
Coco did they do a D&C same time they removed the endo? Maybe that could explain the minimal AF but not sure about the Ovary pain. How do you know you O from that side? Is that just from pain at O time? I was 100% sure I O from my Left Ovary and when I had a scan a week ago my corpus lutheum was on the Right. WTF? Said I definately ovulated on the right and I was sure I did left. Left must have gone out in sympathy perhaps. Are your temps below the coverline or above?
Bookworm my AF after my May m/c in June was heavy. July was light and August another BFP. The bleeding I just had was tissuey but very minimal blood. I am sure I have retained products as my HCG is higher then it ever was when I was pregnant. Doesn't want to review me till next week. I am aching inside like there is stuff still there. Ill be Pee'd off it I then have a D&C a month or so after my m/c.
-
Thanks Twin Sister and Maddison,
I am getting support here and from a couple of friends. My Boyfriend doesn't really grasp what has happened. I don't think he will actually believe I am pregnant till it is comfirmed by a Dr, not a HPT! Anyway, I'm feeling better. Been trying again.
Best wishes and hugs to everyone here!
And thanks for your support.
-
Grrr i just wrote out a really long post with persies and all and the stoopid computer said internet disconnected, aaarggh. No time to rewrite, hello to all the newbies and ill talk again soon
-
haha just looked at my ticker and it says ' a home test may work today', if only it were right, i really wish it would.
-
Hi everyone
Chickybabe, how's the wait going? Sounds like good news that the cramping has stopped and you are only getting brown discharge. After my m/c was confirmed I just wanted it to be over as fast as possible so I really know what you mean. I am thinking of you xx
Zeppy.........we know so much these days without needing to go to the Dr. My Dr didn't even ask me to do a HPT and just sent me for bloods and told me I didn't even need to ring to confirm the results. So despite you not having Dr confirmation, you know whats happened and I really feel for your loss.
Twinsister - my levels were 45 so really low. I too am a POAS addict. Seriously, I took 5 tests last time........even after my first BFP I still did 4 more. 3 just to check the line was getting darker and then 1 final one because it was a digital and I wanted to see the "pregnant" come up. But then as you know.......it wasn't meant to be.
Bookworm - good on you healthy chick!!
Hi to everyone else, this thread is busy I can hardly keep up! :)
AFM - I have a question, I hope you guys can help me out. I took an OPK tonight and it came up positive. I got them from Lullaby Conceptions and they arrived today and due to my m/c I had no idea when I would O, so wanted to try and use them to track it. I definately did not expect a positive OPK - both lines were equally as dark as each other. I started spotting on Sunday the 23rd and had heavy bleeding between Tuesday 25th - Thursday 27th and then very light spotting which stopped on Monday the 31st. Is it even possible that the OPK is right??
-
starangel not too sure about whether the opk would be right or not, im assuming it would be and when you ovulate would also depend on the length of your cycle. I have only just started using opk's myself and have not yet had a positive one so cant really help you there sorry, hopefully it is right though and you can bd and get a lovely BFP nice and quickly :crossfingers:
AFM no idea whats going on, af should be due today if my cycle is 21 days each time ( which im not sure of) Have had waves of nausea but yeterday morning i could have put money on af showing up because of cramping i had but nope she stayed away. Last night at work i thought she was def there again coz i had a very wet feeling down there so i checked and nope still not there. I tested yesterday and it was -ve, so might test again today but not very hopeful at all.
Anyway better head off to bed. Talk soon
