Morning ladies
Murrycod-my man looks at me funny to when i start laughing at the computer i just tell him its a girl thing and he wont get it lol.
Your AF is being a stubbourn thing i trying to think of anything to bring her on but with me it is aways when DH and i have a few days off together she shows.
Eliselouise-sorry that AF is on her way maybe stick a sign on your door saying wrong address and put murrycods address on the bottom with an a.s.a.p attatched.
Snugglebean-I am hoping the sore boobs are a good sign for you and cant wait to see the 2nd BFP.
Mathewsmum-the pendant sounds lovely.
Craftmummy-not long now i counting the days for you.
AFM-not much happening just the PGD nurses trying to get me to do another cycle and talk me out of trying naturally saying what if this happens and what if that happens i just said well then its ment to be i have my faith in nature and things happen for a reason i think i have had enough bad luck to last me a life time it's now my turn for some good luck like i said 75% odds in our favour of a healthy baby i am willing to try.
-
craftymummy9 I have a pregnant guinea pig too
Ferrals 75% odds are in your favour. We are here to be of support which everyway you decide to go.
Snugglybean sounds promising. Hope you get a BFP when you test.
I am still hanging out for AF to arrive. Probably this weekend. All signs she is here but no evidence yet.
-
MC, is is possible you have a cyst? Those cramps sound painful!
EL, I am sorry you can feel AF coming. I know when she is turning up too... I couldn't sleep the night before I got my BFP cause I was paranoid I would get those very distinct pre af signs... they didn't come :) I really hope your ttc journey ends very soon!! (((hugs)))
SB, those darn pee sticks! They call your name while you sleep I reckon! I had sore bb's this time around ;)
MM, what a lovely idea haveing Matthew's name made into a pendant...
CM, are you serious? You keep your HPT in ice? LOL....
Ferrals, I wish you lots of luck going for a natural attempt :) enjoy ;)
Good Luck Em!!!!!!
xx

morning everyone-craftymummy-rosebush sounds gorgeous, glad there bringing you some comfort.Baby guinea pigs ,how cute...ferrals- you seem very happy with your decision, hope the nurses will get that soon,my new fs is full of statistics too,but we all have to do what we feel is right for us and our families. How are the wedding preparations going, very exciting for you...emmy -must be the season for guinea pigs, hope it rubs of on us...Tanya-is morning sickness full on yet...afm-had a re-occuring bad dream last night where i get my af,hopefully is just me obsessing and not someone trying to tell me something bit paranoid about dreams, the night before i had the scan which showed Matthew's heart had stopped beating i had a bad dream in which that had happened, scary when our nightmares turn into our realities...
-
Afternoon all,
Matthewsmum hopefully your dream doesnt come true and AF stays away for a long time. SIL is getting better slowly, taking baby steps on the road to recovery at the moment. They had the rehab team come in last week and said they will be in hosi untill at least february as she has lost alot of feeling and movement down her right side, so still a long road ahead but shes getting there. The name pendant sounds lovely.
Snugglybean sore boobies sounds promising, hopefully if you do cave on sunday there will be a lovely BFP waiting there for you. Good luck with the packing, how long are you going away for?
craftmummy the pg guinnea pigs sound like a good way to pass the time, i bet the kids just love them, we had them as kids and they were so cute.
ferals  at the putting the sign on the door and forwarding her to murraycods address, if only it were that easy. 75% are good odds of a healthy baby, maybe you could tell the pgd nurses that if there so in favour of you having another round maybe they can consider paying for it.
Emmy yay to the pregnant guinea pig, hopefully it will rub off and you can get your BFP soon too.
Hello to everyone else, hope you all have a good weekend.
AFM tested this morning, BFN, i dont know why i dont just wait a few more days rather than being shattered early on. Other than that I had a good day, went and seen a friend and her 10mth old bub and had lots of cuddles. Had a bit of a meltdown and a huge cry again last night which has made me realise that i really do need to speak to someone because obviously im not coping all that well. My friend i went and seen this morning knows a really good grief councellor and has given her my name and phone number and she is going to get in contact with me in the next couple of weeks, so hopefully that will help and get me back in the right frame of mind.
Anyways better go and organise some dinner, talk soon
-
Eliselouise it was nice of your friend to help you organise the counselling, and glad to hear that you got some special cuddles! Sorry about the BFN, would be nice if it was just too early!, we should change the name of the TWW to the WAABW (week and a bit wait!!!)X
Matthew'sMum i hope you get a better sleep with some sweeter dreams tonight X (im watching Deliver Me as I type this....have it in for myself lately)
Tanya I haven't been diagnosed with any cysts, with the hundreds of scans I had when doing the IUI treatment nothing was ever said about it anyway, and my new FS in Adelaide has all the scans on the computer he says they are all good and healthy. I have suffered from sever period pain since I was 13yo, can't ever imagine having a pain free AF to he honest! Is there such thing!!!!!?????:o
Hope you are feeling well X
Emmy83 hope AF is kind to you over the weekend X
Ferrals I hope the PGD Nurses can respect the decision you have made, unless they want to pay for it for you!X It is your turn for some good luck, and I'm sure it is on it's way X Hopefully some wedding organising can help you take your mind off things, and you get a very special wedding gift X
Buy the way girls......why can't we breed as easy as guineapigs???!!!
SnugglyBuggs I can't beleive you have not caved!!! You are a tough soldier. When I was at work yesterday I grabbed a PeeStick out of the ED and Peed on it within minutes! Then walked around with it in my pocket checking it every 15mins for the rest of my shift incase it changed it's mind and gave me a second line!!! Im out of control ATM.
AFM, still waiting for the results of my bloods taken yesterday to see what level my progestrone is down at, hopefully DOWN!
Still no AF. Not even the slightest pain today. Im over it. i give up:dunno::confused:
-
Mathewsmum-funny you say that i had this feeling somthing wasnt right when i was pregnant with abbi and i kept dreaming that at my 12 week scan they said the baby has downs syndrome and on the way to that appointment i was worried and felt not right then when they said i had a 1 in 2 chance the baby has downs i was in shock it was just like my dream and i couldnt believe it i think somtimes mothers just have a sense when somthing isnt right.
Eliselouise-sorry you got a BFN maybe a bit early and yes i told the pgd nurses the money was way to much and then they went on to tell me they can organise finance for me i was like :o.
Murrycod-you still have time for AF to turn up take this time to have some lovey dovey BDing because when the injections start and your full of eggs you get a bit bloated and tender and then after EPU you are pretty sore and if they put you on crinone surpositories (not sure of spelling) that is gross and you wont want to BD with that stuff so it might be a bit of a break for quality time with your man.
AFM-wedding plans are all done we are eloping we are meeting the celebrant on this lovely waterfront area to get married no family just our kids and 2 wittnesses we are doing the beach/hawiian theme with a few frangipanis for flowers i have a really nice roxy dress and gold sandles all the boys have black knee length shorts white shirts and black thongs with a frangipani in there shirt after the wedding we have planned a xmass party with family where we will tell everyone.
-
Soulds so lovely Ferrals, DH and I wish we had of eloped!!!!!!
And Thanks X
-
morning all-eliselouise-good you have a recommendation for a councillor.I hope you find it helpful,i think you will.Fingers crossed it just to early to show on test, keep us updated...Murraycod-they talked to you about the meds to bring af on(forget the name, sorry,fs was going to put me on it at one stage but in the end didn't need it,i've heard it is pretty fast working though)didn't they? Or is my memory failing me again?..Ferrals-You're wedding sounds beautiful...
-
I dunno I'm a little confused myself TBH. One nurse the other day told me not to worry because they could, and everything would work out fine. Another nurse that called me today, said no, and that if i didn't get AF over the weekend I'd miss out for this years medicare. it's an $8000 diffrence if I don't get AF by Sun.
They will ring again on mon, and I will ask why I am getting mixed messages from the staff. I'm feeling pretty miserable now and Iv'e completely lost hope and i haven't even started.
Im never going to be a mum its just hopeless.
-
murraycod-i'm sorry this is such a uphill battle for you,but i believe it will happen for you ,you obviously have so much love to give,it will all be worth it in the end ,even the 2o'clock feeds. It is just not fair, thinking of you.
-
Thank You Matthwe'sMum, you always have a kind word to make me feel better.
:cheer::hooray::bluecheer::hooray: I JUST GOT AF!:confetti:
 Thank you lord.............................................. .....................
-
Thank the lord for that Murraycod I was feeling really bad for you not being able to do anything to help,
You and eliselouise have all my prayers that you can gather the strength to carry on it will be so worth it in the end, there is no better job than to be a mum,
Just spent the day with my DD3rd she was 4 today and what a lovely day we had, makes me feels so grateful for what I have and think maybe I am being greedy hoping for another one !
Wish I could pass my chance on to you two and I will gladly wait my turn !
:happyforyou: Murraycod

Hello to everyone else, i hope you are having a good weekend.
AFM not sure whats going on, all the symptoms i had for both AF and pg symptoms have gone and AF is not here yet. Wanted to test again this morning but didnt because i dont want to see that one line. Might just try and wait it out and see what happens (if i dont go crazy in the mean time )
-
Murrycod-yeh! for AF turning up and i don't know what your ivf nurse was on about i was told by my PGD nurse and medicare as long as AF turns up by the 31st of december and you have collected your meds it will be classed as a 2009 cycle and billed at the cheaper rate anyway you dont have to worry now good luck on your ivf journey i hope you are lucky 1st time round.
Eliselouise-i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
AFM-just waiting for my +opk's usually around day 11 or 12 but i think it will be a bit later this month after all the hormones last month my AF was longer i'm just hoping i dont have an anovulatory cycle this month some women do after ivf i will just have to wait and see but we have been BDing every 2nd day to be sure and when i get a positive opk i will grab DH and molest him every night for a couple of days lol.
-
Thanks Girls :D
I have never been so glad to have a crampy yucky tummy and AF in over 4 years!!
The witch is definately letting me know she is here, but I'm soldiering on doing housework and folding cuz I just buzzing around the house. Poor DH can come out from hiding now :hide:
Poor thing had to put up with a few hissyfits this week!
Eliselouise giving you strength to hold out to see what eventuates in the next couple days. I dunno why I get addicted to POAS because it never makes me feel good in the end, just can't seem to help ourselves can we!
Speaking of which, Snugglybuggly.....I know your out there somewhere......I know your up to something and it's not packing is it!?
Ferrals I got told so many different things off different nurses in the last week and a half it made me so stressed out, but now as of tomorrow I will be given 1 clinical nurse who will make all of my appts and phonecalls, so I won't get different things said to me anymore thank god.
You must of been so strong to go through what you did, I'm scared i won't have the strength in me to cope.
Thanks Tanya, I hope you are feeling well X Keep popping in to let us know how things are going X
Crafty I PM'd you last night, thank you for your words XXXXXX
Coco if you are lurking, we miss you and hope that you drop by soon, hope everything is ok X
