Hi lovlies. Insomnia. I am hoping some time on BB and some icecream and raspberries will do the trick.... it's a new remedy I am trialling. If not might have to have a peppermint tea.
Snuggly - I am with the other girls. I was ROTFL. Good work on the comic relief.
Alice - I adored my counselor. She told me I was probably ok not to come back in December last year. I have missed her, but haven't felt a strong need to return. I think if you find the right counselor and you connect, it can do amazing things for you. I always felt important, validated and safe in my sessions. And after the sessions the most amazing sense of peace and tranquility. I wish I could bottle that feeling and give it to you all. So I am immensely glad that you found your counsellor and that they helped.
Ferals - I'll buy you a peg for your nose! Does it get any better in time? I was drinking a herbal mixture recommended from the accupuncturist and thought I would never keep it down. But I did and enjoyed it. Peverse. But it didn't smell noxious. Good luck on getting that DNA de toxed.
Murray - I have everything crossed.
TCCALC - oh sweets. Court stuff is so frustrating. I would say without a doubt there was some game playing going on about the warrant. And getting a new lawyer is always a good way to delay things a bit longer while they "come up to speed". Know that you are the better person and rise above it. Sometimes its so easy to focus on the process ( and it is so hard to understand) and the "fight". You can do it, a week will be gone before you know it.
New to This - sweetie - I am so sorry for the loss of your bubs. Grief is such a hard journey. Each of us here know grief well, although our journey's are so different. Go gently on yourself because honestly, this is damn hard. You are the one that has to do the work ( and your boyf - I hope he's doing ok). Some people, don't understand what its like. So if you need to take time off work because you're not feeling up to it, than do it. You and your healing is the most important thing. Cry when you need to and let it flow. Your grief is real and you deserve to grieve and honour your bubs.
Mildez - wow that just blows me away about the insensitivity. Not that I in anyway think what they have done is acceptable, but maybe they think, stupidly, by acknowledging yours and your collegaues loss it somehow will put them at risk of loss? I don't know. I am just trying to find an explanation for behaviour I don't understand, that I abhor and that brings so much unneccesary hurt.
MissK - good to hear a bit of a more positive tone in your post. a lot of thinking does happen on this journey.
Everyone else, I am sorry no more persies for me - I am getting tired, but still need to make myself that peppermint tea. Take care and have a good weekend.
AFM? I spent today with a friend and her two kiddies. Her DD is 3 1/2 and her DS is 8 months old and was due 4 weeks before Amelia. Sometimes if I let myself think about it, when I am with him it is heartbreaking, but mostly I just enjoy him. He is such a cheeky monkey. Reminds me that all this heartache is worth it. He makes the pursuit of my dream tangible. But I didn't get my nanna nap today, so am tired..... I know poor me!
-
Hey dory, while you're buying ferrals a peg for her nose, can you buy some for us? We share a line with our neighbours, and they don't believe in peg baskets, they just chuck them all on the ground, so then our mowing guy comes and they get all chopped up on the lawn and I can't walk ou there barefoot :( We buy so many fricken pegs! Not that it matters right now - it's been raining for a full week with another week forecast.
Alice - how are you going, honey? Having a big cry at another pregnancy is so normal. I only really had the one big cry, and then subsequent news didn't feel so bad, although DH's cousin was a tough one. My crying skills have become very refined over the last 7 months.
crafty - I hated vitex too. I think it was in part responsible for my massive cry.
AFM - temp still hasn't risen, so a bit more shagging to do yet! We're off to a party tonight and I am going to frock UP! After I go to the market in the rain. Hmph. Sometimes not having a car sucks.

Murrycod-I sent you an email before i read your post so cool there is a few of us cycling at the same time lets hope we get our BFP's together ( come on hariet) he he so funny i did think of henrietta but liked hariet more.
Snuggly- you and your vjay jay news make me laugh.
Crafty-yes she did take all that crap but it worked and some people just can't take vitex try royal jelly or macca powder tablets catherine said they are fantastic for wome trying to get pregnant i buy them from Natural Health Organics pretty cheap to and catherine told me to stay on them while detoxing.
Good luck with your gismo i love mine no guess work.
Dory-thanks we will stick it out even if just to lose some weight and get healthy
babies can be hard i had lunch with my girlfriend yesterday with her 5 month old who born 2 months after Abbi was due we should be lunching together and swapping baby stories but i just watch her and her baby and feel sad that i don't have my little girl.
TTCALC-Great to hear the kids are home where they should be.
AFM-the herbs are working i am going to the loo like OMG all the time and starving to death poor DH is getting headaches from caffine withdrawals but it's his poor diet that has caused the DNA damage that is making our embies konk out so he has to do it for 3 months until we get fresh swimmers i hope he can do it because he has been having the odd smoke here and there at work maybe 1-5 a week i was sooooooooooooooooooooo not happy when i found out after every thing we have been through i could have done my block at him but relised this has all been hard on him to.
-
Ferrals: I'm glad the foul stuff has been working, going to the loo lots is good, your kidneys and liver are getting all clean and sparkly :) Hopefully once your DH is all cleaned out he wont get cravings anymore? I've heard from lots of ppl that once they detox they never really start smoking/drinking caffeine again.
TTCALC: I'm glad the kids are happy and safe, go you and your awesomeness!
Snuggly: Hearing you about the car, and markets always have so much yummy fruit and vege's to take home! Enjoy your shag fest and getting all glammed! (Now I have that 'whip it' song running through my head, LOL!)
Dory: Your dream is so tangible! Your bubba is baking away happily :)
Crafty: Keep us updated with what's happening!
AFM: Day 2, big plane trip today back to Melbs (and my Man, WOOT!). He moved all our stuff into our new flat today (we were staying with friends) so it'll be our first night together in a new place. I do believe some pizza, wine and dancing around in trackies will be in order. Oh yeah, we're all class. I have a good feeling about March :)
-
Morning all
Just a quikie, glad everyone seems to be getting back on track thats what we need to do. Hopefully all you newbies will find some peace and your sadness will fade a little over the comming weeks its hard to beleive but it really does fade a little after time ! Cant beleive I just said that as 6 mnths ago I would not beleive that could happen.
Ferrals I think your DH deserves a medal if he can keep his end of the bargain I know my DH wouldnt be able to be so devoted to GOOD HEALTH ! but I am trying to win him around, Keep letting him read what you put on this forum to prove a point !
Now I have a question , When I had my scan on 18th feb my folicle was 11mm how many days after that would you say I ovulated ? as I know it had to be bigger than that but not sure how quick they grow, The reason I am asking is I am now day 32 and still NO AF felt so sick this morning when I had to do doggy duty in the garden and my breakfast tasted funny this morning ! ( ok just my body playing tricks I guess ) but if I ovulated later and I know we did Bdance on 20 feb and sperm last about 3 days, would a pg test show up as yet ?
Just a thought will keep you all posted !
-
Just wanted to send a big hello to all the lovely ladies in here. I am still following everyones journey and hope to see the BFP's roll in soon.
:bluedust: to all
-
Hello Maddison - we haven't met yet but hope all is good in your world :)
Crafty - the follicles grow approx. 2mm a day so it would have been another 3 days at least to get to 18mm which is anything over that for IVF to collect but usually the dominant one gets to about 20 or more so maybe could be another 4 days until you O'd. Hope that fits and you are on your way lovely! Good luck
MurryCod - same to you girl - hope this little egg is raring to go for you!
Kit - enjoy your pizza, wine and lovely man. We're all style here too - usually involves scraping chicken poo off the shoes (I have 7 girls and they are my darlings v. spoilt and v. amusing)
Ferrals - sounds like the icky juice is doing it's thing. Good on your DH for doing this - even with a small relapse. I know how you feel about his smoking but at least he is giving it a try. It must be soo hard. Mine is outside right now having a puff and that is after he promised he'd give it up for our next IVF go. Trouble is our FS categorically says the problems are all mine. We always get good fertilisation rates, no need for ICSI, I hate it all being about me and wish he would bloody well quit. We need all the help we can get.
TTCaLC - great to read the kids are being loved and looked after with you both. I have been thinking long and hard about fostering. DH is interested too - just worried about getting a **** case worker or difficult parents to deal with. There are so many kids who need homes, sometimes I feel guilty for wanting my own so badly, esp. considering how much IVF costs - we could sponsor a whole village for 10 years probably for one cycle.
Snuggly - You are one woman with a mission! Have fun!!
Dory - thanks for your comments - I'm glad I have her too. I feel friends and family getting impatient that we're still grieving - I guess it is hard for them to know what to say or do. At least in that session I will be able to say whatever the hell I"m feeling without having to worry about upsetting or worrying loved ones. Hope you got a good nap after your little visitors - I have a god son who is 2 and his sister is 5 and they are so delightful but v. tiring! I know we are all wrapping our loving thoughts around your belly, I'm glad you are here with us.
AFM just taking it easy, hanging out with the chooks and resting. enjoy your weekend everyone xx
-
Crafty at 11mm your little follie would have to grow at least 3 to 4 days to get to size I think, Alice is right, 18mm is good to go for IVF, but bigger the better! Perhaps hold off for a few more days to POAS, as easy as it is for me to say!! But we all know to well what a BFN can do to the fragile spirit. Keep yourself on track, focus on good thaughts, and stay excited to use your little gizmo, anything that comes as a suprise to you in the meantime, I wish you all the babydust in the universe XXXX
Dory, nice to hear from you my love XX Hope you get some sleep tonight, and are starting to feel happy on the inside XX
Ferrals I got your email, thanks babes XXXXX
Your DH is being very dedicated trying out the health kick, my sweet DH smokes, he promises me that he will stop if I become pregnant, I do hope so.
TTCALC, great news!! Amazing what one day can do to us hey!! Well done XX
Alice, enjoy the resting darling X
SVN, hope the BDancing is keeping you buisy!! ;)
Maddison, is so lovely to hear from you, are you still at your shop in SHill? Was thinking of you the other day, because DH has to go to SHill to get his Ute serviced and i would have loved to go with him but I have to work. I hope you are well darling X
KitF, how did you go surviving that storm in Melbourne today?? Saw on the news it was huge!! It has bucketed down here all day, and we are on our almost 100th thunder storm for the day!
I love thunderstorms by the way, I can sit on the porch and watch them for hours!XX
AFM, well not much on the Bejayjay channel for me, AF is being sort of kind, heavy but not crampy. Southern 80 Ski Race is in town at full swing in the rain. Can hear the beefed up speedboats from my house. Going to the river tomorrow to have a look at them all race.
Have a nice weekend all XX
-
Crafty-anything from 18mm usually has a mature egg but it can pop anywhere from 18mm to 26mm i had 24 follies 11 were 18mm to 26mm (the bigest one) and the other 13 were 13mm to 17mm and didnt get big enough in time so i would say you would have had another 4+ days until your egg popped.
Kitfaerie-have a great night with hubby and PIZZA yum!!!!! im druling.
Alice-yeh i am so proud of my man he is doing really well he went from about 10 black coffees a day down to 2 when we were trying for Abbi and now down to none and even given up the fizzy drink that is really hard for him but he really wants a baby and a healthy one so he is actually better at the herbal crap than i am and we actually had 100% fertilisation rates we are suppose to have great fertility but with the fragmentation that can prevent them sticking and after day 3 of embies that is the sperm so it's hubby that needs to clean up his pipes.
And we also thought about fostering but the whole system is shocking and the thought of caring for a child or baby and falling in love with it and then having to hand it back to it's deadbeat parents would be terrible.
Anyway i'm off to rub some special herbal oil into hubbys nether reigons oh i love this part so fun.
Murrycod-i'm excited for you can't wait we are going through this together i will be on egg shells waiting.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND everyone.
-
Ferrals: LOL! I love how casual you are about the oil rubbing thing, like it's part of a list "gotta get some milk, do some tidying, rub oil into hubby's bits.....'' Love it! Told DH and he thought it sounded like quite a good idea.
Alice: So glad you found a counsellor, I'm a massive fan of counselling :)
AFM: Well, pizza was a wash out. Was stuck in Rockhamptom airport (most boring airport EVER!) cos all flights to Melbs were delayed cos of the storm, so I didn't get home til 2 am! DH was doing the last load of moving (with our kitty kat!) when the storm hit, the cat was sooo not happy. He seems ok now though, pouncing on everything and generally being a nuisance :) Pizza and beer tonight though!
-
Kitfaerie-aww what a bummer being stuck in the airport at least you can make up for it tonight.
And the oil thing yeh! we have to have a bit of fun with it so it doesn't turn into another thing we have to do to help us get pregnant like a chore or somthing i love it the only thing is we can't fool around after because the oil we burn my girly bits and you know how hard it is to be rubbing your hubby's bits and and not go any further so when AF is gone we will have fool around first then the oil lol.
-
Just a quick update but I thought you ladies would like to know that today at 8DPO I had a temp drop, some spotting and cramps. Either is a very bad timed AF showing up early (my usual LF is 14 days) or could be implantation...can't wait til the Wednesday test-fest begins!
