Big thanks and  for jenushka, kazaraz & tutmae for the birthday wishes!
kazaraz--Best of luck with your u/s & BT's on the 14th! I hope you get some answers!
:hello: coco--I heard that a woman is supposedly very fertile after a m/c! So definitely no harm in trying!
fifi, MO3Boys, Krystie, mollycat, & plc--My Fri. girls :heartbeat: Thanks so, so much for waiting up for me! :grouphug: It was only by chance that I opened my phone to check the time, and realized I was about to sleep thru chat again! :o Must've been all that chanting that woke me up! Luv you all! xoxoxoxoxo
Rhi - I'm sorry you've been unwell. I hope the treatment with the naturopath helps. I'm praying AF doesn't show though.
Mel - Glad you enjoyed the Coldplay concert. I hope AF stays away.
charm - I'm glad you were able to find out the reason for the loss of your little girl.
WTH - Woohoo for a lovely HB! I'm praying the next few weeks are uneventful for you. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Theresa - Glad all is well with you also. Goodluck for the upcoming scan.
Abbey - Sorry AF is being hard on you . I hope she has eased by now. Don't apologise for ranting. Nothing is more important to you than what is going on in your life. This journey is not easy so thank god for the support of the women here.
fifi - Glad things are going well. Not long now.
jen - Glad DS is on the mend. I hope he's keeping his fluids up. I also hope you are able to get some sleep now. Still praying AF stays away. I hope you are having a lovely B'day.
Toccara - Goodluck with your appointment next week.
jackjack - I'm glad you had a great holiday (except for a day in hospital). Goodluck with all the tests. I hope you get some answers soon.
Em - I'm so sorry you had to have a 3rd D&C. I hope they got it all this time so that you can start over. I also hope the afterbirth pains stop once they get the clot once and for all.
plc - Thanks so much for taking the time to inspire us and remind us that it is possible. for you and April.
megsmum - You are always welcome here. I love seeing that ticker tick.
Krystie - Hi and :bellyrubs: for little Chyan.
mollycat - I've just noticed your ticker. Congratulations on losing 12 kilos already. Fantastic effort!
babymiracles - I think I said this yesterday, but I'm so glad things are going so well. Goodluck with your next scan in a couple of weeks.
jenushka - I love watching your ticker go too. Glad things are well with you too.
Eliza - kazaraz is right. You have to be in it to win it :goodluck:
kazaraz - Goodluck with the BT results and the upcoming scan. Sounds like you are finally on the way to figuring out what is going on.
mo3b - Welcome back. :bluedust:
AFM - We finally got my car home yesterday and DH put in the new fuel pump, but it still isn't completely right. I think the stress of the last couple of days has finally caught up with me. I feel really tired and grumpy even though I actually slept for 10 hours last night. I'm not ready to go back to work next week and now I've used up all my leave. I feel like the last two weeks have been a complete waste of time. Sorry, just feeling *blah* today.
Jen - :happybirthday: USA time! Hope you've had a great day and AF doesn't show!
HannahD - for AF showing and another  for having to cut your holiday short. That's terrible luck about your car but I hope you and your DH made the most of the time you had away together.
MO3B - Welcome back, although I wish you were in the PAML thread! :pink-babydust:
kazaraz - Glad you are finally getting some answers. Although it doesn't bring your angel back at least knowing being informed it another step closer to a H&H pg next time
coco - Even if chances are slim there is still a chance so get your :bd: shoes on!
mollycat - Nice to hear from you. Well done on your weight loss!
Babymiracles - You are always welcome here and your ticker is a nice reminder that it can happen!
:hello: to everyone else.
AFM - Been lurking the last couple of days as I have been very sad and had a mini meltdown last night. I just cried and cried for my angel. Just very disheartened and frustrated at the whole situation. I tend to get like this leading up to AF (poor DH - I have been so moody!). I just always start second guessing every cramp or pg symptom I have and start to get my hopes up. Since the op I have pinned all my hopes on everything being fixed and I have a feeling I am going to be disappointed again this month :(
I have been so angry at everyone around me too (except you girls as you all understand). I just feel like the people I know don't even act like I was ever pg anymore and sometimes I wonder if I ever was? I only knew I was pg for a week but in that week we loved and wanted our baby so much. I know people have been through far worse though so I feel bad for complaining.
Anyway, that's why I have stayed away - as look at the negative post I just wrote. Sorry everyone, try so hard to be positive and uplifting but sometimes I just don't have it in me.
Hello all beutiful BB girls :)
Thank you to HannahD and Mel for welcoming me back. It's so easy to get behind with whats going on in everyones lives but I will do my best in the next week to catch up.
Jen Jen- I hope your birthday finished on a good note and that that horrible AF didn't show up to spoil your day. :noaf:
Fifi- Here's hoping all is well in Fifiland and that you were able to have a good night out. XXX
Plc- Thanx for the laughs sweetie, you really are a gorgeous woman.
Molly- Although I was dissapointed you ran out of matchsticks, I hope you did get a good night sleep. Lets hope tomorrow is better than last Sunday was for you.
Krystie- It was so good having a chat after so long. Those pics are just so amazing. Big tummy rubs.
HannahD- I am sorry to hear you are having car troubles :( I hope this coming week is better for you and that you can de-stress.
Mel- Never feel bad for complaining or being down. It doesn't matter how far along you are when you lose an angel, losing an angel is losing an angel and those days, weeks and months before your angel flies are full of hope, dreams and love no matter how short a time that is. Nobody understands until they have been there, we all have had people in our lives being unsupportive and wishing we would 'get over it'. But being a mother starts the day you fall pregnant and lasts for eternity. When someone makes you feel bad, come on BB where we understand.
BIG HUGS AND KISSES TO EVERYONE AND LOTSA :bluedust::pink-babydust:
AFM Finally stopped being sick last night about 4 am and was able to go to bed. I haven't been sick yet today which I am kinda sad about( I know that sounds odd). But I was hoping it was MS and not just a bug. Grrrrr! I am having every pg sign there is but I am probably just talking myself into it. Only time will tell I guess, in the meantime I will try and think of other things- no matter how hard that is. I have to restrain from poas because AF showing her ugly head seems to be easier for me to deal with that a :bfn:
Take Care
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Hi all,
Well today I brevaed the shop and bought my charm for my Pandora Bracelet.
Mixed feelings about it but at the same time it signifys and very special part of my life.
Since the 3rd D&C last week I am very up and down about the TTC part. I know now is not the right time for me to make that decision.
Any how here go the perssies:
Jen :Happy Birthday To You !!!!!!!!!birthday2: wishing you lots of :bluedust: and no AF vibes hun.
mollycat - I have joined the Tony Ferguson diet this morning will have to go get one of those tickers. I am wanting to drop a few kilos then back to my dietician.
charm - I am glad you have the reulsts of why you lost your little girl. I would love to have some answers to help provide me with a little more closure and healing. Unfortunately I have asked and they tell me they are unsure .
babymiracles - Yay for the scan. love seeing that ticker going along... Not long to go for the wedding.. hows the plans going?
fifi - Hows the bub going? Looking at the ticker not long to go now.... ahh the memories, swollen feet, no sleep, fall asleep bub wakes up and kicks non stop... I am SOOOOOOOO looking forward to doing that again ... Bring it on!
Krystie - :bellyrubs: for Chyan is it pronounced Cyan / Sian ?
kazaraz - I am going to join your have to be in it to win it club ... such good advice.. thanks. I am so glad you are on your way to finding out some answers to the questions. It can be so hard not knowing.
Eliza - You go girl ! bd::fertilise: You get the idea! :goodluck::
Mel - How was Cold play OMG I would have loved to have seen them live. I 'won tickets to Rock wiz salutes the bowl and had airfares all lined up for DH birthday surprise on the 13th of Feb but unfortunately DH and I were in hosp :(

Happy Saturday/Sunday! Thanks again to everyone for the b-day wishes! :grouphug: Don't have time for persies right now, as DF is getting ready to skydive, but just wanted to officially welcome back MO3B-- I'm so, so happy to see you back here--now I don't have to wait until Friday to catch up with you! :hooray: Sending mega :noaf: vibes your way and tons of :pink-babydust: :pink-babydust: (notice the pink? ;) ) Luv ya girl! xoxoxoxoxo
Just aquick one for me girls just wanted to wish jen a belated but very very happy birthday, hope you had a great day xx
Be back later for persies :grouphug:
Thanks, jackjack!
Started spotting yesterday, but not enough to stop me from getting some b-day action! ;) AF was kind enough to wait until today, so that's all I can ask for! Well, I could ask for a BFP, but...... Anyhow, have to jet again--be back later!
Hi All,
Thought I would pop in and say hi :hello: before I run off for the afternoon.
Hope you are all doing well and will achieve you miracles soon
Jen - Happy Belated Birthday :birthday2: Hope you had an awesome day and were spolit rotten.
AFM - about 11wks now, saw the Gyno a wk ago and had a mini U/S and all looked good. Now going for a NT scan in a week or so...... one last little test before I announce it to the world - cant wait.
Will pop back in after the test
HUgs... :grouphug::hug::hug:
Hello all! Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
Megsmum - Thanks for the hugs, they mean alot!
Coco - No harm in trying - good luck!
Kazaraz - Sounds like you are getting down to the bottom of things. Sorry that you have to wait so long, but sounds like everything will be clearer in a couple of weeks.
mummyofthreeboys - Nice to meet you, although not under the greatest of circumstances.
Hannah - Hugs babe. Such a ****ty week for you, but things can only get better! Thanks for your continued support!
Mel1979 - Sometimes we need a cry, vent - whatever to relieve ourselves of the massive burden we are feeling. I know it is in our best interests to be positive, happy etc... but that doesn't mean that we can't feel not so positive/well at times either. mummyofthreeboys said it beautifully.
Hello to everyone else.
Well, the witch is back for me (visited yesterday arvo). Approx 35 days from last af, so my cycle is getting shorter, which is good. (I can have anything up to 55 days) But as I said in another post, I feel good about her returning. I am taking all my tablets and liquid medi from the naturopath with joy (hard to believe as some of it tastes terrible). I am feeling positive, not necessary for a BFP next month, but I feel like I am back on track to getting & staying pg soonish.
I have to say that I think joining you gals has certainly helped. Your support, positive posts, understanding etc... Thanks so much to everyone.
xx
Double post - sorry
hi everyone,
I had been lurking a bit throughout the start of the week and then went away for work stuff for thursday and friday night.. then had visitors last night so been very very busy! its hard to catch up on whats going on with everyone though... so Hi there to everyone and I hope you are are going well :D
well... my body decided to be a bit mean to me..... but it could also be a good thing too... I had been having 35 day cycles, O'ing on cd20... well, this month my body decided to O on either friday or saturday.... so around cd13 or 14... (just telling by CM) which has to be a good thing, maybe my body is finally starting to settle down.. but the bad thing about it was that I was away at the time and DH and I have not had ANY successful BD attempts (lots of bd'ing but he often has trouble with getting to that point... iykwim  ).... so I can basically rule us out for this month. we will be able to get some action in tonight but im afraid it will just be too late. oh well... i guess the best thing for me to do is look at the positive that my body is hopefully becoming more "normal" - now just to hope that the pre af spotting buggers off!
well.. best get back to it.. so much housework and washing to do since I have been away.
Take care :)
I recently lost my 13 week baby due to body stalk abormalities and we are hoping to start trying again soon. The process was extremely traumatic and all I want it to be pregnant again. Did everybody feel so guilty, alone and empty when their loss happened?
I worry I am desperate so i don't have to feel this way anymore. My best friend was due 4 days after my due date and I cant stop feeling like I must be a horrible person for this to have happened to me.
Sally- so sorry for your loss, the way you are feeling is completely normal, but it is an extremely difficult time. You have definately come to the right place but so sorry that you had to find yourself here. I have had two losses the first my best friend fell pregnant 1 month before me and now has a beautiful 5 month old boy and the second time I worked along side two ladies that are about 5 months pregnant now, It's very hard and by no means a reflection on the type of person you are. Hoping that your ttc journey is very short :grouphug:
Hi Sally,
You are not alone here.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. :comfort:
Yes it is extremely hard and the emotions your are feeling are completely understandable. I went through and still go through thoses same emotions.
I can assure you some days will be better than others.
My best friend was due 6 weeks before me and my cousin was due 3 weeks before. My bestie actually avoided me till last Thursday as she told me she didn't know what to say. Yet my Cousin came to the hospital to visit me.
It is a very hard situation to be in but try to be honest and open with your friend about your emotions. I am sure she will understand as she is probably a little unsure of what to say or do as well. But remember she is your bestie for a reason!
Give yourself some time to heal. Allow yourself and your partner to grieve as this little person had bought hopes dreams and aspirations for you both.
There are so many lovely ladies in here that offer so much support and advice. Sometimes i just pop in to read and don't post but it has provided me with strength when i needed it.
Take care hun.....My thoughts are with you and your partner.
Em
sally - I am so very sorry for your loss :comfort: Yes I felt (and still have days where I feel) empty, alone and miserable. That is why I am so grateful for this forum. The emptiness and misery do get better with time, but the loneliness was gone when I met the wonderful ladies here. They all understood exactly how I felt. I was able to gain support from their experiences and comfort and hope from those who have gone on to have successful pregnancies.
My FIL actually asked my husband what I had done to deserve such a punishment from God when he was told about our loss (I will be forever grateful to his minister for soon setting him straight). But this is not a punishment from any 'god' for anything you have done. Unfortunately s**t happens to good people.
I hope you can gain the same support and hope from the stories shared here that I have. Allow yourself time to grieve your angel and to heal. A very wise woman on here once said to take one day at a time and to allow yourself to feel whatever you feel. I  that your TTC journey is a short one.
Thank you for replying and so quickly!!! I think this might be my worst day, I haven't been able to stop crying or blaming myself for even a second.
I worry I just want to get pregnant o fill the void. Ive been looking up the advised waiting times, its so tricky to work out what is right! One doctor says try straight away another says wait a few cycles. Was speaking to my husband and made an agreement, if its a long wait till the first cycle we will only wait for one and if its shorter we'll wait two.
It is just so so surreal. Im 27 and should be so fertile and in my prime and the most abnormal occurance. Not that I would wish it on any one else ever, but its still o hard to not think why me?
xxoo
Sally - I know exactly what you mean about the when to TTC again.
One doc says wait a cycle my Pregnancy loss midwife said wait 2 cycles ( mind you I am starting on clomid as I don't 'o' every month ... but knowing my luck i will 'o' on my own and take the tablet as well and I will end up UTD with multiples ... but hey as long as they and me are healthy then i'm up for it lol)
I thought the TWW was bad but the wait for AF to return I think can be worse.
It is very confusing about when to actually try again. Try when you feel both you and your partner are ready to conceive again.
Please do not blame yourself... I did this too and I am sure every lady in this thread has done so as well.
Hoping your TTC journey is short...
Em
Sally
Im so sorry to hear you are feeling that way. I have just gone through a m/c aswell and we are trying straight away. The dr said to wait a cycle only so they would know the correct timings of the pregnancy, but I think...if you know when you ovulated it would be easy to work it out!
Things will be better for you, you'll have the up & down days but the time between good days..they will get shorter for you and you'll eventually come to terms with it.
My husband & I planted a tree and I tell you...standing in Bunnings howling saying "I shouldnt be doing this i should still have my baby!" was soooooooo difficult & so hard and ( surprisingly not embarrassing!) so worth it. We water our angel baby tree every day and it helps with the grief.
Hope you feel better soon sweety xxx
Eliza
Hannah--Honey, I'm so sorry to hear about d@mn AF and your vacation troubles! Sounds like you could use another vacation! I've had a couple cycles where I passed some large clots, and I know what you mean about the 'tenseness' that comes with the pain prior to passing it, then the feeling of being more relaxed once it's passed. I may have asked this before, but did you ever have an u/s to rule out that there may be any leftover tissue remaining? I still have to ask my dr. about it... I kinda ditched my appt. on my b-day  However, I was nice enough to call and cancel, I didn't just completely ditch it. It's just that I was spotting already, plus it was my b-day, plus DS was with me! At almost 8, he's definitely a bit too old to be in the room with me while I have a pap! Anyhow, still have to call to reschedule, but I still plan on asking about the dye thing and the u/s to check on remaining tissue or blocked tubes. Are you going to start temping/charting with this new cycle?
charm--I'm praying that the results of the loss of your baby girl help to bring you peace and closure! :comfort: Did you ever get an answer as to why your right ovary might be swollen?
Krystie--My fave chart stalker! For what it's worth, I think it's very appropriate for you to post here.... your avi brings back a flood of memories that always put a smile on my face! Luv ya lots my fellow FAB'er! *mwah*
Mel--It's ok and completely natural for you to have your down days, please don't apologize for it! You've been struggling with this for so long, and now you've put a lot of pressure on yourself, and on your body--it's a tremendous burden! It doesn't matter how long you were pg--your baby was instantly a part of you--and will still be forever in your heart! Please don't let the amount of time you were pg detract from the emotional angst of losing a child--a loss of life, especially that of a child, is soul-destroying! We're all here for you!
MO3B--Thinking of you, and hoping you're not feeling any better! lol....IYKWIM! Sending lots of :noaf: vibes your way!
mrzbaby--While I'm sure it was tough, one day you'll be grateful that you bought that charm for your bracelet in memory of your little angel! Big *hugs*
Easha--Thanks for the b-day wishes! *hugs* Congrats on your mini u/s, and best of luck on your NT scan coming up next week!
Rhi--Your positivity is inspiring! I'm glad you feel good about AF and getting your body and cycle back on track! Best of luck!
boble--Are you only going by CM, or do you also temp/chart your cycles? Have you tried an OPK?
Sally--I'm so very sorry for the loss of your little angel! :comfort: Unfortunately, those feelings of guilt, loneliness, and emptiness are all too common. Hannah said it perfectly, tho, in saying that a m/c is not a punishment from God for anything you did wrong/or didn't do right! We've all felt that way.... it's certainly the hardest thing I've ever had to go thru! Don't push yourself.... there's no time limit on grief.... you just have to take it one day at a time, and know that eventually it does get better! This forum and these girls.... this is my haven.... I don't know where I'd be without them! Remember that you're among friends that understand, and we'll be here to help you along the way! Big *hugs*
Hello everyone and welcome to all the new (and returning) people! :grouphug:
I'm sorry I don't have time for my Monday persies because it's a long weekend here; DH is home and we're going on a picnic later, hopefully. This will just have to be a quicky me post if you don't mind.
To cut a long story short...2 weeks ago DS had bronchitis, then last week all of us had gastro in turn. Not a pleasant couple of weeks. Of course right through that time was my fertile time!! Since Tuesday last week sorry if TMI...about 2-3 days after last BD I have had thrush-like symptoms. So far they seem to be under control with diet, but neither have they fully gone away. I'm reluctant to get treatment because I suspect we might be pg. I got the gastro bug last in our family, but about 5 or-so days after what might have been conception. :crossfingers: I have POAS twice (nothing like being TOO early!!) and both negative, but we are going to get some more early tests today. OK....so this long story isn't very short - sorry. My question is, has anyone else had thrush or thrush-like symptoms in their TWW? I had thrush just after conception in DS's pregnancy and then a UTI, which I believe was probably my immune system dipping to allow implantation. I have also been feeling a little queasy (not related to gastro) and have had metallic taste in my mouth. What do you think?? I am so not good at waiting...this frustrates me so much! Whilst I can be patient about many things....this is not one of them!!
I'm really sorry for not sending any special messages. Please know that I'm reading along, and thinking of you all.
Take care,
M
PS..I'm due back to work tomorrow for the first time in two weeks, and DS has a brand new runny nose this morning!! :wall:
Jen, Coco, Mrz Baby, Hannah and Jack Jack ( I hope I haven't left anyone off!) thank you so much for your support and comments.
Well thankfully I think I have woken up not as emotional as yesterday...
A little back ground I thought wouldn't go astray:
I was 13 weeks pregnant and spent 2 days goig from speacialist to specialist until someone could tell me what was wrong as this abnormality is so rare. Its not genetic and seems to be a one off but that doesn't make it easier.
The condition was so serious it ended up being life threatening for me with no possible chance the baby could survive. No organs were in the body other then the brain and some had attached to the lining of my womb.
I had an emergnancy termination 2 days later and I felt like so much of me died that day. I cant shakke the feeling that every bone in my body says protect your baby and I made a choice to terminate.
Its just eating me up that maybe I could of done something different at some point...
My husband is amazing, caring, gentle, loving and strong, I worry he hates me as much as I do...
It was only Sunday 1st of March this all happened, ironically the day (exactly!!) we met 8 years ago...
Im guessing Im going through that stage of hating nearly everyone. I just can't seem to feel like Im not sinking all the time!!
This forum has really been my saving grace so THANK YOU!!!
Hey, I just thought i might swong this one on you.
When you ovulate each month, does it come out of the alternate ovary? like, last month I ovualted from the right ovary (dr thinks...) and I had a cyst on it about 3-4cms. So with this month, I felt the ovulation pains out of the left ovary, will i get a cyst there too?? Dr said it was from my...ermm...thinking of name...luetas corpum (?) and that's what supports the ovum? Is that right?
How long before cysts go away? dr said wait 2-3 months to scan again and make sure it is gone depending on whether or not im pregnant again in that time...
Also, alot of ppl have said you're more fertile the first cycle after a m/c, is that right? And if so, why do they say this and does the fact that I had a natural m/c (had no surgery, just tablets to induce a "labour") make me more likely than someone who had a curette?
Sooo many questions...I think i need to do something to distract myself, damn having days off!!! On the plus side, im thinking that having days off (5 to be exact..) Im going to be mroe relaxed over the time when implantation will (hopefully) occur :) Thoughts??
ps...can you tell how excited I am and how hyper i am by all the spelling mistakes in my last post? :P
Hi Coco,
Yes apparently you do ovulate alternate sides each cycle, according to my Dr. But I ironically only ever get pain on my right side each month but my last preg come from my left ovary??m go figure!:dunno:
Can't shed any light on the fertility after M/C as I have had 3 D&C and think i am gonna give my body a break a cycle of two. Spoke to my Pregnancy loss midwife today and she told me it can take 3 - 4 months for AF to come back after so many D&C's in 3 weeks......great NOT!!!!!!!:wall:
I know it is really hard but just try to be you when the 'implantation' happens..... such good advice that even i wouldn't take notice of ;)
As for the leutus thing... it is when the cyst forms where the egg was released (or to be released but doesn't) from after ovulation and it fills with fuild or blood... they usually go away after a few months... your body breaks it down... they usually scan in a few months to make sure it going away.
Good luck hun :crossfingers: for you,
Em
Eliza - I've heard lots of different answers to do you O from alternate ovaries each month, some say no and others say yes. I have had quite a few cycles tracked through my IVF clinic over this last year or so though, and I did O from alternate sides each month.
Did they tell you a reason why they think that you got the cyst at all? A lot of cysts are from a follicle that doesn't rupture and release the egg (although can be other reasons as well) - I have had this happen to me one cycle last year, didn't O according to my prog levels and next cycle when I had a tracking scan there was a 3cm cyst present. I had another scan at the end of that cycle though and the cyst had gone, a lot of them do resolve by the next cycle and you can still fall pg in the meantime.
As for the more fertile after a m/c, I have heard that too and all I can say is it didn't apply to me worst luck!! Maybe some ladies are and some aren't, don't really know the answer to that one. I also had a curette, so waited out one cycle - maybe that made a difference who knows? Maybe you are more fertile with a natural m/c than a D&C :dunno:
Also I was not at all relaxed when implantation happened with this pregnancy, I think being relaxed doesn't hurt, but don't stress yourself about it if you aren't relaxed KWIM? If it is going to happen it will still happen.
Good luck!
Hi and :grouphug: to all the other lovely ladies here xx
Mel - I'm sorry you've been feeling down  Even though you only knew you were pregnant for a week, all the love, hopes and dreams of a lifetime were felt during that week. Jen got it right when she described it as soul-destroying to lose all that so quickly. But don't feel you have to stay away when you're feeling down (I know I'm guilty of doing just that at times). We're here for you. Take care of yourself hun.
Mo3B - I hope you're not feeling better, IYKWIM. Fingers crossed that you get a BFP real soon. :bluedust:
mrzbaby - A charm is a beautiful way to remember your angel. Goodluck with the weightloss.
Easha - Glad the scan went well. Goodluck with the NT scan next week.
Rhi - I'm glad you are feeling inspired. I hope that with your naturopath's help you are on your way to a BFP soon.
boble - Wow you have been busy! I'm sorry things aren't looking good for you this month. At least it sounds like your body is settling down again.
sally - Unless there is a medical reason to wait, the suggestion of waiting 2 or 3 cycles is usually to allow time for emotional healing. And as mrzbaby said, waiting one makes dating easier. But it is completely up to you when you decide to try again. Personally, I waited one cycle. I needed to give myself that time before I could make the decision.
jen - Sorry AF showed  At least she waited until after your birthday, I suppose. Now that you mention it, I never had a follow-up u/s after my D&C. This is the first problem I've had, so could it still be tissue remaining after all this time? I thought I would've had more bleeding or pain or even infection by now. I might bring it up next time I see my doctor though. I've been charting CM the last two cycles, but have now started temping this cycle.
meh - I hope everyone in your family is getting over the bug now. I can't really answer your questions, but your symptoms sound promising. How much longer until AF is due? I have fingers, toes and everything crossed for you (except my legs of course ). :pink-babydust:
Eliza - I've never had a cyst so I can't answer your question. I've heard people say that you are more fertile after a m/c (especially a D&C), but this has never really made much sense to me as I've never heard a medical explanation for this. By the way, planting a tree is a fantastic way to remember your angel. You have something to care for and watch grow.
AFM - DH and I have managed to salvage the last few days before returning to work tomorrow. We've pretty much done nothing but relax the last few days. Although DH is taking advantage of the beautiful weather we're having today to paint our fence.
Sally I'm so sorry for your loss I felt the exact same way as you when I lost my baby .
Jen-I am unsure why my right ovary is swollen he said it can be normal with pregnancy and I was too scared to tell him 10 days later hubby and I started trying again maybe that could be it really I am unsure I go to the GP on wed I will ask his advice.
It's bizzare I've never noticed all the babies and pregnant ppl aoround as much as I have in the last 3 weeks but I am trying to be very positive and take a day at a time it is working for today but hey it's only monday.
Boble - Sorry to hear that you might be out this week, but like you said - your body could be sorting itself out. Hope you get some bd action anyway (and at least without pressure - iykwim)
Sally - Welcome. Sorry that you have to be here under these circumstances. I didn't feel guilty, more why us? but definately alone and empty (until joining here). GL with you ttc journey and stick around as the support is amazing!
Hannah - Glad you guys are resting. Nothing like doing nothing to re-charge!
Charm - I hear you about noticing lots of pg people at the moment. I keep looking at their lovely round swelling bellies and trying to picture that being me soon! So hard to do, but trying to be positive.
Hello to everyone else... Will be back probably Wednesday as I am back at work tomorrow.
Take care
xx
Just a quick one, will be back for persies later.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their messages of support. What would I do without you girls ;)
Coco - You do o from alternate ovaries each month. I never knew this until I had my lap and my Dr told me I had o from the left ovary the previous month and was going to o from the right the next. Funnily enough I only tend to get o pains on my right side. I have heard it is easier to fall pg after a m/c but it didn't happen for me unfortunately :( My tubes ended up being blocked though which would not have helped.
HannahD - If your tubes or anything are blocked it won't show on an u/s. Only way to tell is through a lap and flushing your tubes (this is what my Dr told me anyway). My right tube was blocked for over 12 months and I never had any symptoms or pain or bleeding and no infections. Worth checking out.
BBL........
hi everyone.
Sally - welcome and sorry that you have had to go through this experience.... all the ladies here know only too well what you are going through and it is so totally normal to be feeling the way you do! thinking back to the time straight after my m/c - its hard for me to believe where I am now... straight after I just didn't think i would survive it again!!! but I have - and every day i feel better (well, most days - some days you have a down day).. i guess all these ramblings I am doing are just to say that although the now really really - well, its unbearable... i promise things get better. Look after you and your partner!
Rhichichi - yep, been catching up a plenty on the bd action.. its been great ;) haha - and I guess you just never know
Charm - i know what you mean about seeing so many babies and preg people around. after my 2nd m/c i was quite bitter with all the preg people or people with babies and little ones.. but this time around i seem to have lost that (well, for now anyway). I know how tough this time is and just wanted to send you a hug
Hannah - good to hear you got some relaxing in with DH - lovely!
coco - Hi!! its amazing how many questions pop up at a time like this :) I was also told that you are most fertile after a m/c (natural or d&c) and also straight after going off the pill... but.. im not sure?? after I went off the pill i fell preg the first month, which was great.. but after my m/c it took another 4 horrific cycles.. and then with the last m/c i am up to cycle 2... so fingers are crossed it happens quicker this time around. good luck in any case my dear - sending lots of baby dust your way
meh - i can't help overly with the thrush in the 2ww question as I am just not sure.. i am very prone to thrush and uti's - in fact, i often get one or the other after every af  - that is if i dont' take accidophilus (sp?) tablets every day.... but i hope that it is a good sign for you - sending you lots of baby dust too!
Jen - DH and I are taking a bit of a break on the "intense" ttc iykwim.. we had decided to not worry about charting or anything like that for the first couple of months that we are ttc again ---> so that is just off my CM. I used to temp/chart and i did try using opk's but it seemed that the ones i bought were duds.. because i didn't ever get a + but ended up pregnant
so... I had the "egg white" cm friday, saturday and sunday.. on sunday it was getting a bit more watery (sorry if tmi) - dh and I bd'ed sunday afternoon as it was the only chance we could get... so hoping we might be in with a small chance. oh well, what will be will be is my motto this month.
sorry if i missed anyone. thinking of you all
Hello ladies! Sorry I have been such a lurker lately. I'm just really not sure as to what my body is doing and I'm very frustrated. AF was due Friday and never showed. So Saturday I gave in and POAS and got a BFN! So now I'm back to I was before no AF and no BFP. Hope everyone is doing well!
Hannah--Glad to hear you and DH got some R&R before returning to work! So how handy did that relaxation CD end up being after your vacation? I'll bet you were grateful to have that around!
charm--Good luck with your appt. on Wed! :goodluck:
:hello: and *hugs* coco, Rhi, & mrzbaby!
Hey smelly Mel! Hope you're feeling better today! Big *hugs*
boble--Saying lots of  that you caught that eggie! It only takes once!
Shortcake--Sorry to hear about your BFN  It's so frustrating when we don't know what are bodies are doing! Sometimes it takes time for your cycles to get back to normal--a year later, I don't even think mine have completely gone back to normal! Then I wonder, was it ever normal? Hope something happens for you soon!
Apologies Mel for the late reply!! My endo was only in the earliest of stages and it was causing my infertility. I had no warning signs - no pain at all - but as I am a 28 day cycle girl, the only curious thing that happened was that I had 2 cycles in 3 that varied by 2 or 3 days which was very strange for me - and one of those cycles lasted 3 days instead of the normal 5 days. My ob was the one who suggested to have the lap - it never ever occurred to me that I might have had endo. When I had my lap, the endo was found and cut out straight away. When I was able to start TTC, we conceived straight away. That's why I am convinced it was the endo that was causing the infertility. Endo, as you say, is such an erratic condition. You dont necessarily get pain and infertility is not always an issue. Was your doctor happy for you to TTC straight after the lap? I was advised to wait (even tho it was the hardest thing I have done - very upsetting) til 6-8 weeks after the lap. I am glad I did cos it just gave my body a full chance to recover and get back to normal. Happy to answer any other questions if you have them. Big hugs hun - you WILL get your baby.
Hi everyone,
Tried to post again last night but couldn't get onto the website. Will come back tonight for persies as will have more time.
Just wanted to say -
Plc - Thanks heaps for your reply. I had the lap to check for endo but also to check if my tubes were blocked which can happen after a m/c. I am not sure if my endo was in the early stages or not but was told it was a mild case and they managed to remove it all. It was only around my pelvis area which was lucky. Plus my right tube was blocked in a few places with mucus from my m/c over 16 months ago so they cleared that as well. I wasn't told to wait any cycles though, my Dr told me I could start trying straight away. Trying not to get my hopes up as I am looking at it as if we are starting again from stratch and it could take up to 6 months. The Dr said to TTC for that long before considering IVF.
Thanks again, you give me hope which is all I can ask for. :) Big  for you and April.
So back to the waiting game.....
Hi Ladies,
Hope everyone is doing well, sorry not time for persies will have to catch up.
Just wanted to let you know had scan today went really well bubs moving around a lot with lovely hb.
Thinking of you all:hug:
Good evening ladies...just popping in for a quickie...everything seems to be going well (I truly hate the shots!)
Just wanted you all to know I pray for you daily and I am thinking of you even when I'm not logged in!
Mel - I hope things are looking a little brighter for you today  Thanks for the info. I had a D&C and am pretty sure they flushed my tubes then. But I've never had an u/s to confirm there are no products of conception (for want of a better term) left. But if this was the case, I would think that I'd have some symptoms 7 months later.
boble - A small chance is better than none at all. Hoping you caught that eggie. :bluedust:
Shortcake - Sorry about the BFN. Maybe it was too early to test. :crossfingers: for you.
jen - Yes that CD has really come in handy. But I still got another tension headache last night. First day back at work and I had to leave early . How things with you? I hope AF isn't being too hard on you.
chappas & smi - Glad everything is going well for you and your little ones.
 for everyone else.
Hi all,
Well today was going along well until i realised it was tuesday....( yes for those asking doesn't she even know what day it is...I didn't:redface:)
Have been thinking about this for about 3 weeks now.
Tomorrow marks my half way mark ( well 4 months but half way for me as I go 3weeks to 4 weeks early)
Finding tonight very hard... haven't cried yet but I think I am not that far away......
I have made the decision about not trying again.... Yes I know I am emotional but seriously i think the 3 D&C's have taken any determination of TCC out of me and I am thinking that I should be content with my 3 precious kids that I love and adore. In my heart I know I can't go through this again and usually if I want something so badly i can picture myself with it and it is just not happening... I can't see myself and DH with a baby, and I have to say that the fear of what I went through has been enough for me to have made me make that decision.
It is not just the D&C's making this decision but the fact that my cycle will take about 4 motnhs becuase of all the D&Cs to come back and up to a year to go back to normal... not that I am old but I had said to DH that if I wasn't preg by June this year that that would be the cut off and unfortunately the cut off has been made for us. Then there is the Clomid issue that we have and the very BIG increase of twins ( last bub we scored on our own I 'O'd all by myself for the first time in ...gee I don't know.) I have twins and triplets on my side of the family.
DH doesn't know and I don't plan on telling him for a few months so that when he finds out he won't blame it on my 'emotional hormones'.
Going to the Ob on Monday and going to ask him about the pill or injection or something similar as DH hates condoms and so do I..
Yes i will still pop in occassionally to see how you are all doing... hoping that none of you will be here when i do pop in though.
I do wish everyone hug amounts of :pink-babydust::noaf::bfp:
and wishing your TTC journeys are short.
Take care,
Em
