Trying to Conceive after Miscarriage/Loss - January 2009

Thank you girls for all your excitement! I am sitting here with tears in my eyes and thank my lucky stars that I found such wonderful friends on this forum.

Jen - you made me laugh the loudest!!!!:ROFL:

I went to my GP this avo and she did another HPT which showed another BFP. I will have the blood test results tomorrow!!! At this stage it is estimated I am about 4 weeks pg. Estimated due date at this stage is 18 Sept!!!

I know this is going to be an amazing year for all of us!! You girls have to follow my lead so we can chat through each others pregnancies.

I am so excited but also a little nervous. Next step is to make an appointment with the OB.

Only 1 more sleep to my FS appointment. Not sure why I am counting down, I know I won't be getting any answers. Oh well, I want to talk to him more about the lap as I am still a bit unsure (not that I care about having an op, I would do anything for some answers). Maybe I am just being impatient? At the same time though I would like to rule it out for my own peace of mind.

AFM - Poas yesterday afternoon bfn,still no af yet 3 days late. On a happier note it was my daughters 5th birthday yesterday so threw her a little party.

Mel~ thanks so much for your kind words no I have not had any test done yet I'm have them done in April or may I found a hospital here that works only with high risk pregnancy ... that if I still have a job in may ... :pray:

Jen~ You really just don't know how much your post's and determination keep me going I'm holding back tears right now because your post meant so much to me I have really been stressing and worrying a lot and on top of having to look forward to my Angel's EDD's I also am worried I will be getting laid off soon with the auto industry the way it is Michigan is really going down hill people don't have money to come to the casino and play so my job has slowly been laying off last week they got to my department so over the next few weeks I will be on pins and needle waiting to see whats going to happen if I get laid off I might have to wait even longer to ttc again :( I did find a hospital here that only works with high risk pregnant women! I think about you a lot too I come to the forum and lurk to look for a BFP from you !!! I pray we both get 2009 BFP and 2009/2010 babies !!! :hug:

Mel - I'm feeling a little better today, thanks for asking. I think it helped that DH was home last night so I wasn't alone with my thoughts. My appointment isn't until the 21st.Goodluck with your FS appointment today. Even though you don't expect any answers, its a good opportunity to get more info about the lap if you're still unsure about it. Let us know how it goes.

AFM - Last night I decided to start charting my CM, just as a start to charting, then I'll see how I go. I looked at my dates for the last 4 cycles since m/c. The first 2 were 28 days in length but then the next two were 31 and 32 days. :dunno: Just wish I new what was going on.

ETA - Actually I don't want to know what is going on. I want a BFP this cycle so I won't know how long its going to be.

HannahD- I hope you get a BFP this cycle to!!! Gotta hate when AF won't make her mind on how many days she wants to take

Shortcake - :crossfingers: that you get your BFP soon. How late are you now???

Hannah - Some hope for you..... I was irregular after having Zachary. Anywhere between 28 and 32 days! ANd now I am pg so I know you will be too:D

AFM - I had confirmation from my doctor today that the blood test was positive too! I will be calling the OB tomorrow to make an appointment and also my diabetic specialist. Time to get the ball rolling and make sure that everything goes right this time!

Can you believe that my EDD is the 18 Sept - however, my OB told me they would probably only let me go to 36 weeks. When I looked o the calendar it makes my EDD 21 Aug - Zachary's original due date was 22 August!!!! How bizarre is that!!!!

Hannah - Glad you are feeling better and DH was home to keep you company :) Being alone with your thoughts can make it worse. It's a pity you have to wait so long to see a GP but I hope you are feeling better soon. Don't worry my cycles have been different lengths every month since the m/c - anywhere between 28 and 35 days! I know we will all get our BFP's soon. :hug:

Hi to Jen, plc (how's that gorgeous baby girl of yours?), AJC (how's your gorgeous baby boy?), fifi, tam, toccara, rach, mannie, megsmum, smi, jackjack, tutmae, kezzabird, krystielove and anyone else I have missed. I think I am getting better at remembering everyone?

AFM - Well, went to FS today. My prog level was 32 (month before was 37) so I o again. My normal FS is away as he had an operation on his shoulder so I saw the locum. He was very old school (red bowtie and all!) but was still very good. He actually recommended the lap, not so much for endo but to flush my tubes (which my other FS was going to do anyway). He said because I have been pg before and didn't have to have D&C (where they also flush your tubes) then it is possible for some mucus to be blocking my tubes which could be the problem. He actually said it is quite common. Once that has been done he recommends TTC for another 4 months before considering IVF. I hope it is just something simple like that. I didn't realise that your tubes could get blocked from a previous pg. I thought once you m/c that was it :redface:. It may not be that but it is worth a try! I found out we have a family history of endo but I don't think I have that. Booked in for the op on the 16th of Feb (after AF) so I guess we will know soon enough! Hopefully my normal FS can do it (depends on his shoulder) but if not I am ok with the locum. He seemed very good. I am supposed to o about the 20th of Feb so hopefully will be well enough to BD by then! I think I'll manage ;)

Needless to say I am feeling very positive and inspired again and it feels good! Don't want to pin all my hopes on it but it is better than feeling like I am doing nothing!

rach - Woohoo! AF is almost gone. Lets hope she doesn't visit for at least another 9 months. Here's a dose of early :bluedust: for the upcoming BD marathon.

Theresa - I don't think that sort of timing could have been planned if you'd tried. Its a nice connection between Zachary and his little brother and sister. :stickyvibesgirl:

Mel - So it was worth going to see the FS today, after all. Glad you're feeling inspired again. :hug:

AFM - DH seems happy about my longer cycles since it means an extra day or two of BD just in case I'm ovulating later. Well, he'll be happy until I start stressing when AF doesn't show on time. :lol:

I have some wonderful news. DF and i have set a date to get married :loveshower: :dance:

We have provisionally set the date for 24th July 2010. As if i wasnt excited enough about the arrival of bub, i now have double things to celebrate. :hooray:

So prep has started for that with wedding brochures coming in left right and centre.

Sorry i just had to share as i think i may burst with excitment!!!!! :cheer::bluecheer:

AFM...YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!! Scan went very well yesterday! Baby was moving about so much the sonographer was unsure if she could get heart rate...she finally did it was 163...I cried it was so beautiful to hear. :dance:

WHAT A WONDERFUL MONTH THIS IS

We've had three BFP's in about two weeks. That's just amazing, it's been so long since that's happened. We've still plenty of time to get a couple of more in.

Fifi - That's wonderful news. CONGRATULATIONS to you as well.

Smi - glad to hear that everything is going well for you and that bub. Hope the m/s has eased off too.
