Theresa - After your TWW turned into a week wait (good on you for waiting 7 days to test), I bet you thought all your waiting was done, huh? I hope you don't have to wait to hear from your specialists too long.
chappas - Good idea to get things checked early if you had problems while pg with DD. I hope your appointment goes well next week.
Ruthie - " You can regret the groom..BUT NEVER THE DRESS!!!!!!!!" I hadn't heard that one before. But the dress is so important.
jen - Just gave DH a hug on your behalf. It is his dream too, after all. Glad you're feeling better.

Chappas - Great News!!! Congratulations 12 months of ttcing wow you must be over the moon...wishing you all the best for this pregnancy and try not to worry too much (yes yes easier said than done hey??)
Ruthie - that so good to hear, God was watching over your mum and am so happy she got the all clear and so happy for you too, this is your year honey, can't wait to see pix of you with a huge baby belly soon! big hugs
Smi - thinking of you and will def say a prayer for you at Mass, I'm sure all will be fine, the docs know what they have to do so try and relax and let them take care of you. lots of positive vibes coming your way.
Babymiracles - any news yet???? how did your transfer go???
Fifi - big congrats on setting a date, it was the best day of my life, enjoy the lead up, even though it can be stressful its a good stress if you know what I mean??? glad to hear bub is progessing as it should be!! very inspirational!
HannahD - I know ttcing and the whole timing thing takes the whole romance out of the picture when DTD but you find that they (DH) understand that its a means to an end and as long as you can have spontaneous or romantic date nights other times in your cylce then I think it all helps ie; coping with the sort just doing it to get pregnant! I hope this helps, its just from my experience I felt the same way as you not too long ago but we both came to the relisation that if we wanted a baby we would just need to do it when I was most fertile and then also enjoy it when we weren't dtd, however that time after the O can be most stressful so I now think like Mollycat, if its meant to be it will be and I can't stress too much about it all, its God's plan. Doesn't mean though that I've stopped tracking or taking my temp or checking my CM, its just that I don't try and stress about it anymore. I found that acupuncture and yoga helped me. Goodluck honey, hope I haven't rambled on too much...
Hey Jenushka - hope all is going well for you, haven't seen you post much lately, have been thinking of you...
Jen - hey lovely, I'm sending YOU lots of babydust ( sorry for the no icon, I'm having problems with this computer its my mum's as Im down in syd for a week's training and thought I get on and catch up on everyone's posts so this PC is giving me grief!!)
erybery - enjoy the BDing!!!! goodluck!
and I titled this a quick one huh!!!
Hope that we get heaps more BFP's looks like a trend is starting yay!!!
AFM - not much to tell, still taking my thyroid tablets, can't see much of change but obviously blood test will tell me that, will schedule that once I get back to Cairns next week. Also starting Weight Watchers wish me luck at this stage am hoping to lose a stone!
Hello to everyone else.....sorry not that many persies, promise next time I'll do better....ciao ciao
Hey Ladies,
I am sooooo happy there has been anothe 2 BFP's within days of mine :loveshower:, that's so awesome. Come on ladies let set the record for my BFP's in one month especially you Jen, it is your time. 2 wks to go.
Dont have too much time as I'm about to have dinner. I saw the gyno on Friday and have had bloods taken. Will get the results Monday. He also had a very old ultrasound machine..... all we could see what a black dot in the middle of gray but that's good enough for me. I have a proper U/s on 30/01/09 so looking forward to that. I am so lucky this guy understands and is working with me really closely to get me to past the first trimester. Still can't decide whether to keep going to the chinese herbalist - any advice??
Anyhow dinner ready - got DH trained well
Hi ladies,
I just popped in to say Congratulations to chappas & Theresa, what fantastic news for you both:dance: :happyforyou:
I wish you both h&h pregnancies!!
Erybery - we are cycle buddies, I am on CD13 too!
HannahD & Erybery - I too have been extremely anxious. Today I have been in a relatively bad mood all because I am starting to feel the pressure and monitoring myself for signs. Don't feel bad as I think it is just natural to feel this way and the harder you try not to worry or analyse the worse it is. Hang in there girls. I hope we all get a happy ending in a couple of weeks!! :D
Ruthie - So happy for you that all is well with your Mum and that you are feeling so positive about the appointment with FS. All the best to you.
Mannie - Hope you and seeing a change in your levels - GL with the BT.
AFM - Have had some really good days and have been really positive (my resolution other than a BFP was no more tears!!) Low a behold today I had to really fight them back as the pressure and anxiety leading up to O has got me extremely worked up. But so far so good, no tears and am feeling a little more relaxed tonight. I think curling up on the couch with DH and a DVD will be good medicine. It is so hard though, I think O time for me is harder than at the end of my cycle :wall:
Hi to all the other girls I have missed, and there have been lots, I am thinking of you all.
Polly
:o Hi Everyone - cannot believe we have moved into a January thread already for our TTC posse
:hooray::hooray: to Theresa (Zachary's Mom) and Easha for your wonderful news - a H & H 9 months to both of you in this year of the Golden Ox!!!!!!!!
Ruthie - I was so glad to hear about your mum's results - that is excellent - hopefully you can feel a bit of the weight lifting off you now
hannahD - you have such courage and honesty - these are incredible allies in the fight against depression - do you feel the depression cycles or is random - sometimes the pattern can be revealing - good luck with TTC!!!!
Toccara50 - I feel for you with the EDD coming up soon - mine isn't until later in the year and I am not sure yet how I will feel about it - it is hard with m/cs as you have two emotional anchors from them - the day you m/c or found out and the expectations of the EDD hanging around out there for you to deal with. I don't know but I feel the most important thing can be to acknowledge that time and allow yourself to feel what you need to regardless of how anyone else feels about it - we allow ourselves to celebrate the happy occasions I think it is sad that our society has such an issue with honouring our tragedies and losses of our lives - they are what define our character and our appreciation of the better times...
meh - this is a response to a post you made quite a while back - but in keeping with the internal spring cleaning I am doing of my life - I am wanting to try and allow all the energies to have clear channels. With my little one - the memorial DP and I created helped immensely - we went to our favourite beach, found a beautiful little sapling with a sea view and buried our little one with a marker and candles - nestled between the elements of earth and sea. I have not been back to visit since but I gain immense comfort from knowing that our little one was respected and rests in such a lovely place. Doing this seemed to let the floodgates open and it felt like a completion at the time - and with a little help from herbal tonics and some wonderful infusions - the emotional balancing of those wacked out hormones has brought us to a good place
Hello to the incredible beautiful souls of jackjack, jenushka, Shortcake, babymiracles, rach2281 (you are amazing), megsmum and jen805 and my huge apologies to anyone I might of missed who I hold in the highest regard and wish no end of :bluedust::pink-babydust::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: to in this journey we are all on.
Last but hopefully not least - I just wanted to say it has been fantastic standing tall in the support of everyone here and I would like to say - :bfp: is in the building - and I would like to thank everyone for helping us get to this point!!!!!! Our little Golden Ox hopefully will be with us later this year and if he (I don't know why - I just feel like the little tacker is likely to be a boy) feels we're want he needs - we would be ecstatic to have him join our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much love and laughter to everyone
Karen van
Jen - Thankyou! Really  that you get the bfp you deserve soon, you give us ladies so much support:bluedust:
Smilanatu - everything will be ok
Megsmum and hannahd - thankyou!
Mannie - Thanks, trying not to stress to much but is hard. Good luck with weight watchers.
Easha - Good luck for your test results, glad you have someone so supportive to help you through first trimester.
Polly - Thankyou, sorry you are having down time. Hope time with your dh and dvd helps
Karen van - CONGRATULATIONS!!! wishing you happy, healthy 9 months
Hello everyone. Sorry for lack of persies but I am babysitting. Still no sign of AF and I'm now 3 days late. I tested and got a BFN 2 days ago. I'm going to wait a few days and test again. Still praying for a BFP!
Ok, this is a little unusual.... does anyone else notice a difference in responding to a post? My little reply box is in a different place... and as I'm typing this I actually have access to the smilies--which is normal for you girls, but for my Mac... very different! As I mentioned just the other day, I have them memorized, otherwise I have to go up into the user profile/edit signature to even see them! It's cool.... I guess I'm just tripping.... in almost a year of being a member, this is the first time there's been a change in the way I respond to a post! And how cool is it to actually just click on the smilie you want, instead of having to always type it in! Yay me!
Oh maaaaan, but now I can't change the colors! :wtf:
HannahD--It's tough, but try to remember that you can't rush perfection! Your perfect little earth bound angel is imminent, and when you're blessed with your miracle, everything will be perfect! Enjoy your alone time with DH for now, because, trust me, once you lose that time, it's sorely missed!
Ruthie--Yay for sleeping in! Woke up to temp at 5:20, but got to go back to sleep until 7:30!! Could've been later, but DF was feeling a little randy this morning! It figures! Hope you have a great weekend!
Mannie--Good luck with Weight Watchers! I know several people that have lost a bunch of weight while on it! I'm sure once your thyroid levels are where they're supposed to be, it will help with the weight loss--having a under-active thyroid makes those lbs.(oh, sorry, kg's) much harder to lose. *hugs* and lots of luck!
Easha--Would love to set the record for BFP's in a thread in 1 month! That would be a great kick-off for the new year! Glad to hear you have such a supportive Gyn that's willing to help you thru the first trimester--and Yay for little black dots! Just think, that little black dot is the fruit of your labor...the seed that you've sown...your miracle in the process! I'm thrilled for you! Good luck with your BT results on Mon! Not sure about the chinese herbalist... but I think that several of the other girls continued on with the herbalist while they were pg... could be wrong, tho, so don't quote me on it! lol... maybe someone else can help you out a little more! I can at least help you out by seending lot's of :stickyvibesgirl:
Polly--It's hard not to feel the stress and anxiety, and to over-analyze every sign and symptom while on this bumpy TTC journey. *hugs* However, you're certainly not alone in this! For me, I found that I was less inclined to want to DTD if it wasn't a fertile time in my cycle, so I had to really make the effort to spend extra time with my DF during the non-fertile times, as well! To keep things "alive" we started watching kinky movies together (sorry, :tmi:) and I found it really worked for us. Anyone who's been here long enough, I'm sure remembers that topic of conversation! BUT, just so you know.... I'm not the only perv around here.... Enjoy your time with DH!
Karen van--Wow, that was a quick one! Congrats on your BFP! Wishing you a healthy, happy, and sticky 9 mo's!! Big *hugs*
chappas--Aww, thanks, hon! *hugs* I'm so glad that I got to sit beside you thru this bumpy journey over the last 9/10 months! I've really enjoyed getting to know you--hope you'll still hang out here with us for a while! :stickyvibesgirl:
Ok, am I the only one that has to answer a random question before leaving a response to a post? This is weird! On the last post my question was "what color is the grass?"... I put green... and it said I didn't answer the question right! Had to answer another question--RIGHT this time--in order for my post to go thru! Peculiar....
Anywho, we were posting at the same time, so just wanted to wish Shortcake lots of :noaf: and send bucket loads of :pink-babydust: :bluedust:
Hey Flowerchild--I tried to send you a message instead of sending this thru a post, but I couldn't even click on your name! I seem to be having some sort of problem.... everything is different for me when I try to post... there's no "quick response" box for me to click on anymore.... only a "reply to thread" box to click on that's under the last post. Then it won't let me change font colors when I click on the font box... same with the smilies--when I click on the smilie face it won't show me them. Then there's the random question... that's gotta be new, too... but how is green the wrong response to "what is the colour of grass?" Just wondering if anyone else is having the same probs as me? With my luck, it's probably only just me!
Also wanted you to know I checked out your water birth pics... thanks so much for sharing them--they're beautiful!
Thanks for any help you can give me regarding my computer issues!
Oh, p.s. ... I also can't change my mood smilie!
Shortcake - keeping :crossfingers: for you. I got bfn on monday then bfp on thursday.
Jen - Thanks, its been good getting to know you too. I will still be sticking around to see you get your bfp:hug:
Hi everyone,
I was really excited this morning thinking I had ovulated as I used one of those pee stick ovulation sticks (Fertility Solutions Australia - Pregnancy Tests and Ovulation Predictors) I only had one as it came free when ordered a bunch of pregnancy tests. 2 lines came up really quick so I run back to DH and say its time to baby dance! anyways after I go and check out the website to make sure 2 lines means ovulation it looks like I havent ovulated or am going to in the next 24 hours because the test line should be as dark as the control line! I mean there is a definite 2nd line there. Just sooooo disapointed with myself! Hoping the 2nd line means I will ovulate soon though! I have to ring my gyn this week to check when I should have my day 21 bloodtest as it falls on a sunday and they aren't open to take blood and Mon is a public holiday.
anyways just had to vent!
:hooray: it's fixed! My reply box is still in the wrong place, BUT.... check it out.... hello!!! See, I can type in color again! I can also change my mood smilie again!! Freakin' yes!!! Ahh.... it's the little things that count! Thanks to the mods for fixing the prob--whatever you did, it worked! Now what's with the random question? What planet do we live on? Is that supposed to be a trick question?
erybery--No worries about the OPK... at least you know you're about to have a LH surge, which like you said, only means you'll probably O within 24 hours. You're supposed to :bd: before you O, so those little :sperm: are alive and kicking in there waiting for that little eggie to show! Just keep those BD shoes on for another 48 hours or so--just to make sure you don't miss out on an opportunity! Good luck!
Uh-oh.... where did the gallery go????? :wall:
Hello everyone
Many thanks for the congratulations - I'm still a bit in that 'can't quite take it in' zone at this point - that'll probably last a while I think:p
Shortcake - here's to AF staying the hell away and a BFP finding its way instead to your door!
Jen805 - congrats on the technical untangling - I now have a random question when I want to post that I've never seen before if that is any consolation - mine is what is the opposite of 'hot'? I had to consult my toddler on that one - she's a bit more 'up' on the word games...
May everyone continue to be healthy, lose weight, have time and be surrounded by love - choose the one you like the sound of most in yourTTC or pregnancy journey!!!
Much love and laughter
Karen
:D
