Trying to Conceive After Miscarriage/Loss July 2009

:hug: Tanya. Is AF due today? Thinking of you. Thank you for your advice yesterday about Confirm. Im not sure when RB is/was due for me. My cycles are crap! The last was 42 days!

Well, i'm off to see my GP. My tests this morning were great! Im very happy that they are half the colour of the control line, possibly more and became visible instantly! Confirm is a reliable brand from todays experience. I just :pray: the bloods come back good over the next few days. Im beginning to get excited, then get upset because I can't see things working out. I keep feeling tightness, maybe stretching in my lower abdomen, especially on the left. I fear ectopic. Maybe I need to stop analyzing? Im just worried about getting to 9.5 weeks again, feeling all the symtoms, and then being told "im very sorry""things don't look promising".......

sunny- Whooooooo:leap: thats fantastic news. I'm so happy for you, I hope you feel better now its official. Don't worry about the nigly pains thats just your uterus stretching and growing, way too eary to feel anything for an ecpotic as far as I know so stop stressing and ENJOY :D

Cherished- so glad to hear yesterdays appointment went so well, do you mind me asking what tests you OB suggested. DH must be relieved to know he has super swimmers :lol: I hope tomorrows d&c is not too awful, at least you'll have all weekend to rest up afterwards.

Tanya- sorry you got a BFN but it ain't over till af shows so stay positive :crossfingers:

TinaR- i was able to put the photo on with the lilypie ticker so you can check thier site if you like not sure if other ticker sites offer the option.

afm- stayed up chatting with a friend till 2.30am so still on my pj's have to get dressed as I'm starting work at 2pm. Have a lovely day everyone.

Sunny- That is SUCH GREAT NEWS! Hoping all the blood tests look great when they come back! I am so excited for you :D Don't worry about the pains though. I called my GP when I was at 6 weeks because I was worried about those pains, and she said it is completely normal. And she said that even at 6 weeks, it would probably have been too early to have ectopic related pains. Your uterus is just making room for that beautiful little baby!

Cherished- That is great news about your DH's swimmers! I'll bet he loved hearing that result :rofl: It's great that you will be getting some tests done during the next couple months. Hopefully everything will be normal and it was just "bad luck" as they like to tell us. DH and I also started TTC our first in Sept 08. When I got a BFP two weeks later, I never imagined I would be here almost a year later and not even be pregnant.

Tina- I am so sorry that you have had to go through this experience four times. My heart goes out to you. I will be keeping you in my prayers. I really hope you get a BFP this month!

Tanya- So sorry about the BFN. Don't lose hope yet! Do you know how many DPO you are?

Coco- Sorry about your bad experience. I hope tomorrow is much better! Try to take another nice, relaxing bath

Zstar- I am so glad you are feeling better about things. Taking it one day at a time is the key! Just keep yourself healthy and enjoy every moment of this experience

AFM- I've been so exhausted this week. I haven't been able to sleep at all. The house is just too quiet. I keep thinking about how my first angel baby would be 6 weeks old right now. Then as if I wasn't feeling bad enough, my boss asked me to pick out some baby items for one of his friends baby shower today. I think right after he said it, he realized how insensitive it was and I could tell he felt really bad. He ended up asking somebody else to do it, but needless to say, the rest of the day wasn't great.

awe tanya dont give up yet, do u still have thoose preggy feelings?
When i was pregnant with my now 15 mth old, all the tests said bfn, even though i felt pregnant i had a stong feeling i was, but hubby wouldnt believe me cause all the tests said no, i was close to the end of 6 weeks when it finally showed up, even though i had known for 2 weeks.
like the old saying goes its not over till af shows up



well i tested and its inconclusive im afraid, there was a faint show in the test window that disapeard and the contol line is not a line bit is in dots. Like tear drop shape dots all down the line, so i emailed fr, told them i believed it was faulty that i have been a fr user for many yrs with graet positive results and that i would like some feedback and a solution, well i got a really quick reply..

Im happy with that, no explaination for why the control line was in dots, but i get a replacement test. :dance:

So basically its a bfn until proven otherwise...
i still dont feel preggers, and am cd32 today, i hope its just to early to test.. i really dont want another 50 day cycle, but we havent dtd since cd 25

Well AF came around today to shatter any last hopes that mayybee the tests were wrong.. A day later then usual but evn so... BUom Buom..

Thanks lovlies.... I am 12 DPO (11 by FF) and my LP is 13 days, so af is due tomorrow or saturday if FF is correct. I had a dream last night I had my AF... and it was HEAVY! I also felt like I was about to get my AF... I get a feeling in my VJ... but, nope, just my imagination. I also had a dream I was feeding hundreds of lambs with two bottles, and they could talk.... hmmm... weird I know!! LOL

ok, so, I sat down today and decided to think of all the things that mean I can be happy.

* we are not in a famine (yes, quite out there I know but still its good we aren't :))
* I have a bf who loves me
* I have a job I enjoy
* I have a business that is slowly but surely getting busier
* the weather was beautiful today
* My parents dog made me laugh...he jumped on thier bed saw himself in the mirror so growled and barked - it scared him so then he cowered and whimpered lol
* My dog greets me each Friday evening like the most important person in the world
* I have my health
* I have the full use of my limbs and faculties (some may argue with that)
* I AM going to have a very healthy sticky bub next time I get preg

I think I'm out of the race this week...feels like RB is on the way. I've been so 'woe is me' in the last month or two that I needed to look at all the things I have to be happy with.
I mean really, I get up most Saturday mornings, make a coffee and go sit out in the sun with my dog next to me watching about 20 lorikeets snacking on the seed we throw out. Who can whinge about that?

I hope everyone is doing ok today. While its so frustrating to have RB hit at least it means our hormones are working and it could be our month next month. Remind me of this when I get on ranting coz RB has shown up :ROFL:

Well it has been a few days since my last post but I have been reading- looks like lots has been going on.

Sunny- CONGRATULATIONS! :dance: That is awesome news. I'm sending many sticky vibes your way. Make sure you keep us up to date with all your news.

Z-star- You are bound to be a little apprehensive with this pg. I think your idea of just enjoying every day you are pregnant is a great one. My thoughts are with you and I hope that all goes well :pray:.

Hannah- :welcome: Like everyone else, I am so sorry that you find yourself here again. I hope your stay here is short and you get all the support you need from the gorgeous ladies on this site.

Cherished- Great news about DH's swimmers. My DH is too nervous to get his tested just yet.

Tanya and Anila- You have both shown great restraint with your testing. Hopefully you both get the result you want. I agree with the sentiments it is not over until AF arrives.

Kyrawolfe- Sorry about AF arriving, she is definitely not a welcome visitor in our house either. Hopefully next month is the month.

Sunbeam- Can't remember who first said it, but you are a hotty. Thanks for all your positivity.

AFM- not much news here I'm afraid. Had my Dr's appt last Saturday and decided I would try to lose 5kg to help with my cystic ovaries. All my blood tests came back fine so Dr seemed to think losing weight would help. I am about 10kg heavier than when I got pregnant with DS. I'm surprised how difficult I have found the 1st week, although definitely motivated if it results in a little bundle. Dr also mentioned that the presence of a corpus luteum cyst in my US indicated that I o'd about 3 days prior. Luckily DH and I did BD around then so there is a small chance. I'm trying not to get my hopes up although I did have sore boobs earlier in the week. As part of the weightloss plan I did my first body pump class for 6 months yesterday and am sore all over. I could hardly get off the toilet earlier today :rofl:. My boobs are also sore again although I am sure it was from the chest track and not pg related. I am cramping a little today so I am sure that AF will be present over the weekend. I am 11dpo and have not tested yet- I'm trying to wait until Sunday when AF is due in order to not waste a test (although I'm sure I could easily be persuaded to do one earlier).

Other than that I think mentally I have just turned a corner. I have gone from feeling like all my hopes of having another child have gone, to being satisfied with what I already have. Of course I want to keep trying. All of you are very strong women and your positivity has helped me get over my self pity so a huge THANKS to all of you.


Hoping for :noaf: this month. Apologies for the massive post, I will work on making them shorter.

Oh my lord i have missed heap's i have been busy working there is way to much to catch up on but i must say i missed you all.
I have some new's my FS has me booked in for a pelvic u/s monday to look at my follicles and she is sending all our blood work request forms to us so we can get it started before our work up appt which is 2 day's on the 17th and 18th of august so when we do see her all our result's we will be on her desk and the only one that take's longer is the probe test about 8-10 week's that is the major one that they need to test our embies we had to pay $1545 up front for that one ( ouch! ) anyway we have booked a hotel on kent street for the 17th as DH has his swimmers test early on the 18th there is so many appts fertility specialist, fertility nurse, geneticist ,PGD specialist ,councellor andrology clinic,ultrasounds, blood test oh my god i am exhausted thinking about it but it is happening so i am terrified and excited at the same time .

Sorry i havn't done percie's i have the inlaw's up and step daughter so have been busy with full house and work i will catch up soon hope everyone is well.
