Sunny, thats great! So good to hear from you! xxx Those levels are awesome! :D Mine only got to 2000! go girl!
um, not good really, all the girls from my belly thread are finding out what they are having, and it is reminding me that i would have been finding out the sex of my baby this week also.
so im feeling a lil sad about it all, and i went into pumpkin patch today, to buy a few baby gifts and i just saw all the baby stuff I wanted to buy for me, i know that time will come again, but its just so hard.
thanks for asking hun.
on another note i did an opk tonight, but im unsure of what the result means.
SUNNY, i am so super dooper happy for you that ur numbers have come back so freakin awesomely high!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Sunny-good to hear from you and i'm happy that everything is ok looking forward to your dateing scan maybe there's is two in there.
Anila-:comfort::hug:I wish i could say somthing that would make the pain go away.
AFM-i'm not doing so great either it's 2 day's until our Abbi was due and i have been trying not to dwell on it but watching all the growing bellie's around me just make's me start thinking about it i have taken some time off work from tomorrow just to get through the week i don't want to look at everyone's face at work cause i will burst into tear's i thought i'd be ok thought i was starting to move on and handle thing's a lot better YEH RIGHT!! who am i kidding i'm sorry to rant i can't really talk to anyone else about it my mum asked why im taking time off when i told her why her reply was don't be sad because of abbi the scientist's are learning more about SLO to help other's in the future :wtf:why did if have to be my baby not very comforting mum!
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
ferrals, wow hun, i know this is a very heartbraking time for you, and im sorry that u have to go throught this, i think taking some time off work might be a good idea, esspecially if ur not going to be much help at work anyway, have u thought about having an angel bday party for abbi, just the family and maybe light a candle and just tell her how much u miss her?
and its never a rant, thats what we are all here for, to listen and comfort each other during the hard times.:grouphug:
Anila- not sure how to go about it with DH i don't want to upset him but i will talk to him about doing somthing special on tuesday.
Ferrals:  This is the perfect place to let out those feelings. While I can't understand your feelings exactly because I have never made it as far along as you I can completely sympathise and tell you that you are more than welcome to have a massive dummy spit in here and have no one think any the worse - to be honest, for me, it helps me to be able to be the shoulder to cry on...you will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.
Anila:  It's so hard not to remember the milestones and dates and to want so bad. I certainly have my fingers crossed that you receive some great news soon and are able to start looking forward to new milestones and happy memories.
Sunny: while yes, it can be painful, it is much better to hear the positive stories.
Maddison: thanks heaps for that help again, am planning on ordering from one supplier this week :) I'm so excited about it.
AFM: I'm getting really run down with doing 7 days but am counting down till my holidays - 85 days!! I'm hoping to not get sick anytime soon unless it's a massive ms dose which I wouldn't mind.
Hi all
I need to whinge...about dh...
he is absolutely peeing me off at the moment...
He is due to go to lithgow for work tomorrow...so what is he doing? H eis sitting in the office playing a stupid game...
I got the poos because I cooked dinner and after it he just went back to the game, then I left the washing up for a while because I thought no we can hang out..but no..he just stayed in there..and then when I started washing up he came in to start helping which annoyed me and I said "why do you wait until Im starting to do it myself before thinking "oh she cooked Ill clean"?? then I said I feel a little like his personal slave.
You know I cooked breakfast for him...then I bd with him...then I washed up...then tonight I cooked his dinner for him, and I washed up, and its like it all the time. I said to him "I cook for you, I clean for you, I do your washing, I vaccum, I do the yards.."
and his response was to tell me how I dont work as many hours as he does and I have sooo much spare time on my hands so why not I do everything..
I wanted to slap him because its like he doesnt appreciate that i do things about the house because I KNOW he works alot and I KNOW he works hard and he is the main money maker...
I feel like crap that i am not working in a fancy job like him and not earning so much money like him so therefore I have to be the slave. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Is it too much to ask for some appreciation myself???
And all that aside, I have a cold...when he is sick Ill wait on him, you know buy him medication etc get him lemon and honey and tissues etc...what does he do for me when Im sick?? Doesnt even ask me how Im feeling?!!!! THEN gets the poos when Im upset at him about it!!!!!
ferrals hon I will be thinking of you tomorrow :comfort:
Tina you made me laugh with that huuuuge count down lol, have you considered just cutting back your hours, where are you going for your holidays or are you gonna hang about at home and catch up on sleep? :)
eliselouise crikey that is way to much exercise for one day girl!
Anila I miss you girls, how are you doing? I'm gonna duck over and say hello in the other thread xoxo
oh coco hon, an argument around o time is horrible and it's bound to make neither one of you want to bd :( I pretty much do all the cooking, cleaning, washing etc in our house but dh does the yard and if I don't want to cook he either takes me out for dinner or he makes it plus he's a super master chef in the kitchen so it's win win for us. I work part time and dh makes 'heaps' more money than me like 3 x more. Although he only works a few more hours than me, when he isn't at work he is doing heaps of other stuff like paying all of our bills, looking after our budget or working on our other money making projects so I appreciate that he is really the 'bread winner' and the least I can do is prepare nutritious meals for him and have his work clothes ready (even if it is ironing a shirt 5 mins before he is leaving) , besides when I am home full time with the baby I will be doing it all then anyway and I know dh will make extra time to help out, put a load of washing on, make meals and to change the nappies because I have a weak stomach iykwim  I guess the whole family unit is about working together and right now I am the one who has time for all the household stuff ;) I can see how you might feel that your dh doesn't appreciate what you do for him though, perhaps tell him how much you appreciate everything that he does for your marriage/life together and then tell him that you don't feel appreciated
AFM af has finished and I CAN'T WAIT TO OVULATE I would just love a bfp (like the rest of us) I just feel so desperate to be pregnant when my 1st EDD comes around on Oct 3rd, I'm gonna head off now and do a workout and make a fresh juice for breakfast :p
Ferrals, hope you can have a nice day on tuesday, do something special :heartbeat:
Cherished: The thing is as much as I dont mind doing all that stuff for him and I TOTALLY understand the balance of work hours we both do and I just take it upon myself to do all the house stuff you know? But its when he just eats then leaves to go play a stupid game and then doesnt talk to me for a few hours it really makes my blood boil...yesterday we had such a good day then we come home and I feel like im being ignored :(
I had a chat to him and explained how I felt and how it came across to me that its like because I dont work as many hours in the week, i therefore have to do everything and I always feel guilty for having free time...he understood.
Im a little sensitive about how much work I do..I might only work 25 hours a week if that. But I spend all day doing stuff around here before I work at night.
Ugh, never mind...we sorted it and he got the message loud and clear.
I dont think Im ovulating just yet, my temp is pretty low today but Im putting that to the freeeeeezing cold morning weather..4degreees..ick..
I havent had a surge or even a hint that there's one coming up so Im not stressed about him being away. I think it will happen on wed/thu..Fine by me!! :D
ETA
I get the results back from the Endoscopy/Hysteroscopy today too. They say "You're awesome and should be popping out babies very soon"
:crossfingers:
Good morning girls,
Ferrals - You are in my thoughts tomorrow. I know with my 'should of been due date' just around the corner too it brings up a lot of emotions. I thought i had worked through the feelings but i know on the day im going to be a bit of a mess. I hope you get a chance to spend time with your loved ones to remember Abbi.
Cherished - mmm fresh juice sounds nice. Do you make smoothies of just juice?? How is the weight loss challenge going?
Coco - Sorry you have a cold. It seems to be going around a lot.
Tina - Great news that you are getting some new stock. PM me if you want any of my best sellers.
Anila - Im very sorry you are feeling down. I say go back to Pumpkin Patch and buy all the little out fits you like. I am always buying baby stuff. It gives me a visual to focus on. And if you buy girl stuff and have a boy then you have lots of little gifts for other people and vise versa.
Sunbeam - How are you feeling? Do you still have your cold?
Sorry i know ive missed a lot of people but a big :grouphug: to all
AFM - Just a question. I am 13dpo and i was playing with my maybe baby this morning and got full ferning. I cant find my instructions but that seems a little odd. Has that happened to anyone else?
morning all, hope everyone had a sooper dooper weekend. I know i did, all my netball & excercise on saturday and then db took me to melbourne yesterday shopping and out for lunch on the yarra and it was absolutely beautiful! Brought 2 jumpers and pair of jeans. Ferals will be thinking of you tomoro hun and hope you can have a nice day with family. I havent yet came up to would have been due date but can imagine how hard it must be. Hope you get your lovely little bundle very soon. Maddison havent had much to do with the mb so cant help you with that. It sounds odd. Have you done a pg test yet or still a bit early maybe? Anilla hope you are feeling a little better today. Its so hard thinking about how far along you would have been. I quite often see other pg people and think wow i would have been that big now or that far along. Its hard but we will all have our little bundles soon. Coco good luck with the results today. Fingers crossed for you, let us know later on. Cherished i know what you mean about lots of excercise but the weather was so nice and i felt so good after it. Have fun with your workout and juice sounds yummy. Hello to everyone else i have missed. Ive ran out of time. Supposed to be walking out the door in about 10 mins and am so not even ready. Going to stay the night with my bestie in barwon heads. Looking forward to it. Talk to you all soon. Bye
Morning ladie's
Thanks for all your thought's i am trying to stay busy to keep my mind off what should have been.
Maddison- i have heard that if you get ferning at the time your AF is due you could be pregnant but in saying that i have had ferning at all different time's in my cycle so i gave up on using my maybe baby.
Coco-Men just don't get it we don't want or expect them to do a lot but just a bit of help from time to time without being asked is nice but the game would have given me the s##ts to my ex lived on the playstation when he wasn't sleeping or fishing maybe that's why he is my ex.(god i love my now DH he is sooo not like my ex) he he
AFM im 10po and as i ov early and we dtd around then i am panicking over every twinge and feeling in my belly i have sore boob's off and on enough for me to notice and my bladder feel's irritable so my mind is going overtime am i over reacting i hope so.
I'm off to do some shopping see you later and i will catch up with everyone i have missed.
Hi all
Ferrals - I will be thinking about you tomorrow. I'm a catholic and I still find it a comfort to light a candle and say a prayer for someone I have lost. When DH recently lost his father I put a big photo of his dad in a frame and lit a candle next to it. Friends sent flowers so we put them with the other things and it felt nice to honour him in that way. I am sure you will find some way special to you and your family to honour Abbi tomorrow.
Coco - guys suck! DH will do any chore asked of him but he often does such a crap job I don't bother to ask much more. Last night I cooked a roast and then, as I was doing some paid work on the computer, I asked him to clean up the kitchen. He didn't wash the dishes that don't go in the dishwasher and he didn't wipe the bench. When I pointed that out to him he got snappy and said I never told him too. Even then after he did a bit more he still left things unwashed. I don't mind so much now as I don't work apart from a few freelance design jobs but when he first moved out here from Canada he had trouble finding a job and I worked fulltime but still cooked dinner, washed up and did all the laundry. It caused some huge arguments. To his credit he does do a lot of the childcare without complaint when he is at home.
Maddison - I am dying for you to hurry up and test. I don't know how you are so strong as to wait. I always end up taking them too early.
AFM - I took another test yesterday and while it's still positive I am a bit concerned that it hasn't become much darker. Tomorrow I go back to find out my results of the blood test. Did anyone else get told by their doctor that they could have a false positive reading because of a recent miscarriage?
Hi Sammy,
I tested yesterday. I dont know why i did cos it wasnt with fmu. Got a BFN. Im planning on testing Wednesday morning 15dpo if a/f doesnt show up before hand. Other than sore boobs and a headache yesterday im not really feeling anything. But i guess you never know.
I would of thought your hcg levels would of dropped down from the m/c before you had a normal cycle so i think you absolutley have a BFP. Are you having any symptoms now??
Maddison- I don't know exactly how the Maybe Baby things work, but I know that on a typical ovulation test, it WILL work to detect hcg as well. So I'm hoping hoping hoping it's the same with the ferning!! Can't wait to hear how the testing goes!! I don't know how you waited so long. Before my last BFP, I would test every other day starting at 7 or 8 DPO. Keeping my fingers crossed for you =)
Sammy- I'm pretty sure the only time it is possible to get a false positive from a m/c is if you haven't had a normal cycle yet. I'm assuming you got AF since then? That won't return until your hcg has gone back down to zero. Try not to stress about the darkness of the lines. I know, easier said than done :D Can't wait to hear what they say at your appointment!
Big :hug:for tomorrow Ferrals !
Thinking of you....
I am sure that whatever you decide to do will be beautiful.
