I think I always have a 12 day luteal phase, but on the "off" cycle FF sometimes doesn't pick it up, even though I know when it is.
Afternoon all,
Kyra-OMG I'm with you I bought a 3 pack of First Response today and will now have to try holding off not to use them all up before wed. I've never had a BFP before dpo14 and used up all my early tests that I got off the net on last months cycle. :crossfingers: for both of us for the next few days.
Yes Psychiatrists can prescribe drugs but Psychologists can't. I love my job and have been doing it long enough now that I can separate my life from my client's and very rarely take my work home( obviously there's the odd case that sticks with you a bit). I love working with kids but I enjoy the mix of seeing adults too. Couples are just frustrating and I want to bang their heads together most of the time
Elise & Maddison- my cycle varies between 31 and 45 days depending on whether I O or not. I've heard that generally we alternate which ovary we o from so that might explain the different cycle lengths on alternate months, maybe one ovary is just more responsive than the other, just a theory! Might be worth seeing a FS even if its only for one visit if you have queries about these things.
TinaR- FF seems to be very confusing for lots of people and seems to change its mind alot about when people o'ed.
afm- I'm so happy its friday, I've been exhausted this week and just hanging for the weekend to get here. Confirming clients has helped heaps and most have now shown up :D. Trying hard not to obsess about possible pg symptoms, not many to speak of anyway. Will try to hold off testing until monday at least that'll be dpo13 but it would be a really fantastic start to the week.
Have a great weekend girls, I'll try y to pop in at some point.
Im promising myself I'll save at least one if not all of them till tuesday..
I was thinking a gud excuse will b that DH is home with me till then so if i can hold out I can do one alone and surprise him with my gift idea if it comes back BFP
:pray::pray::pray::pray::crossfingers:
someday we will all look like this
:family:
Kyra- its so hard to hold off isn't it? I'm a bit disinterested right now though as I feel entirely unpregnant. Apart from being tired I can't say I feel anything. Last 2 times I had intensly sensitive nipples and right now I feel nothing so really not getting my hopes up.
How do you feel?
Pretty much the same..
I was really tired the other day but thats gone now.. I havent had any AF cramping yet but thats prolly cuz im a few days off yet.. Other than that completely nothing. Just the usuall af symptoms like sore boobs and lower back thats all.. so im with you there nothing significant to report..
Still hopeing tho.. I mean last time I was preg I had no signs at all other than fatigue and i was already 5 weeks. So who knows eh? Dont give up hope yet, its not over till the red aunty shows :)
Till wednesday Ill have my fingers crossed for both of us ;)
:bluedust::pink-babydust::fertilise: to those about to test - those BDing and to all of us!
:dunno: whats going on with me, I know I am def in the :2ww: but I am all over the place as to whether I think I am utd or not. One minute I am certain I am, the next I am berating myself to not get my hopes up etc. Still, we have to have hope right?
Ferrals: for your peace of mind I hope RB arrives but if not and you are blessed with another bundle I am sure your precious Abbi has picked the perfect brother/sister for her and sent them to you
Kyra and Sunbeam: although you both seem doubtful I have my fingers crossed that this is your month (and mine!)
Maddison: Sorry, can't help you, I never chart so don't know what my body is doing one minute to next :)
Coco: there are certainly some great signs out there for you!! Lets hope to see your BFP in here soon
hi to Snugglybean, Tanya, Sparkles, Cherished, Sunny (r u still lurking?), JoshsMum (you lurking to?), Milly and any other ladies I have missed...hope you are having a great weekend!
AFM: I worked out I would be 14 weeks when I go on holidays which would be perfect so have my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for this month. I'm guessing I will go through at least 10 tests because I'll start a week before RB due just coz I can't help myself
DB laughed when I started calling him my baby batter factory...its been great that he has really come around, considering he swore he would never have kids!
Think it's to early to test now lol.
I'm at Warwick today and unless you are outside it is damn cold :(
Hi everyone, just dropping in to say hello and hope you're all doing well..
Me trying not to think about my DPO etc...I would like a drink tonight but not sure whether to or not..
Catch up in a few days!!
xx

Hi all!!!
Sounds like everyone is doing well right now, which is fabulous!!!
Just a quick drop in to say....Have that drink Coco, enjoy it because it may just be the last for 9 months!!!
And goodluck Tina.......my eyes are crossed for you! BTW are you also a Perth girl? I live in the northern suburbs, about 1/2 hr from Warwick!!!
Hi Ladies !
How are you all ?
We had a really busy day yesterday. My DS#1 plays on a mixed Netball team on Saturdays. They had their Grand Final yesterday. Unfortunately they lost by 1 point. It was a brilliant game - a real nail biter ! Considering quite a few of the girls on the other team are like giants, our team did a fabulous job. Seems so unfair that these kids can be so huge - its an 11 and unders team. Only 3 of the kids on our team are of age - the rest are 9 or 10. My DS is 9 and we are vertically challenged !
Then we stayed and watched the 15's play their Grand Final - they won - great game too ! So proud of them all !
I am testing tomorrow morning (Monday) ! Eeeeekk ! I have some symptoms - i am trying not to get too excited......slight nausea, insomnia, headache, slightly bloated, occasionally crampy, burping and have just discovered the sides of my (oYo) are tender to touch - all this since Tuesday at 6dpo....will let you know how i go !

Morning all
Chickybabe-i to had a nailbiting game yesterday with my son's soccer he is in the u 12's and they were playing the team that is comming 1st in the comp as we are comming 7th we diddn't hold out much hope they have slaughtered us 5 nil before anyway we scored the 1st goal and it ended up a draw 2 all the parent's were screaming and yelling it was an awesome game if they win the next game they are in the semi's.
Sunny- good to hear from you.
Hello to everyone hope your having a good weekend.
AFM-I swear i have been expecting a line to appear i have sore boob's more than usual and could not stand the smell of mince cooking yesterday but it concern's me a little as when i was pregnant with abbi the line was extremely faint on the day af due and her hormone's were real low because of the SLO that was the first sign of her problem all my other pregnancie's the line was real dark 4 day's before i was due i have woken up with a headache today which i get the day before af so we will see.
Tomorrow we go to sydney for all our ivf appt's and tue we go back for FS and DH work up i hope they can tell me a more accurate time frame as when we can start.
Sadly last night after dinner I started getting really bad back pains and sure enough, when I went and checked, I had begun to bleed. This morning it's turned into a very heavy flow and I don't think there is any way that I could still be pregnant. This baby just wasn't meant to be. Last night I just felt so angry but this morning I can't stop crying.
Sammy: :comfort: my heart just broke when I read your post, I can't help but to still hope for you even though you seem quite sure of the outcome. There really are no words I can think of to say to bring you any comfort except to say we are always here for you and are more than happy to listen to you if you feel the need to vent.
Sammy :comfort: Is there a doctor you can go to today to get your HCG tested? I am so sorry and know how frightened you must be... Take care of yourself and your dh xo
My doctor has organised for me to have a blood test first thing Monday morning and she will try and get it pushed through so I get the results on Tuesday but I already know.
Hi everyone,
Havent been on for a little while, you guys are such chatterboxes! Would love to do persies for everyone but can only see some below so everyone else, I am thinking of you too.
SammyP - I am so sorry to hear what is happening...so wish I could make it all better and your pain go away. I hope you are surrounded with caring people to look after you. I just wanted to let you know you dont deserve this :comfort:
Cherished - how is everything with you? How is the fitness stuff going. I am envious of you...I have put on so much weight being emotional, I used to be so fit - going to the gym all the time, then I started trying for a bub and everyone kept saying you shouldnt diet when you are trying and also you should be wary not to exercise too much (I was going to classes every day) and I am the type of all or nothing. Got to a stage where enough is enough though! Going to see a dietician on Tuesday so hopefully she can give me some advise on what is right! She also specialised in fertility.
Ferrels - seems as you are stuck in the world of unknown, whatever happens I hope you are happy with the outcome - If AF comes or you are straight to IVF! I have a friend who is currently doing IVF with the genetic testing...I was talking to her about the changes that come through in Jan - re being more expensive, and she said the new medicare changes were not as bad for qld couples, I dont know the ins and outs of the new rules though. Where do you live?
Chickybabe73 - symptoms sound promising - good luck with testing tomorrow! :goodluck:
Tina - how is everything with you? Have you worked out where you are at in your cycle? Fingers crossed this is your cycle...with all that BD you should be UTD! :D
Sunny - glad everything is progressing nicely with you...enjoy this special time
Kyrawolfe - any more signs? Good luck with testing on Wednesday!
Coco - hope your TTW isnt too hard - I know you are not thinking of it but what DPO are you? I want to know who will be a testing buddy with me!
Sunbeam - testing time....yay! Fingers crossed for a positive result for you!
Sugglybean - how is everything with you missy? How are your cycles going?
Hi again to everyone else
AFM - I am finally in the TWW, 3DPO today...yay! Finally ovulated on day 19...sick of cycles longer than 28 days..I know there are people who have longer cycles but it sucks! I used to have 28/29 day cycles...but now it is anywhere from 28 to 35...makes it hard to know when you will o and the fertile days seems to like 2 weeks...it is hard to keep DP up with the baby making that long - he gets tired! haha. Trying not to think about it now!Only 10 more days to testing! yay
SuperstarMumsy: I'll be your testing buddy! we appear to be only a few days apart with testing...although knowing me I will be testing from tomorrow onwards lol
