Hi Girls,
Nothing much to report, just saying hi, and I just can't keep away from the forums at the moment. I think I'm obsessing already and technically I'm on hold, so god help me when I'm in the TWW - watch out everyone!!?!?!? LOL
Just hope everyone is having a good day and feeling ok.
KM1 - ttc when you feel ready and i agree that if your body is ready for it, it will happen. I fell pregnant two weeks after my m/c (we dtd unprotected straight after i finished bleeding thinking it was fairly safe, but i must have o'd whilst i was still bleeding?!?!) but unfortunately AF came right on schedule so I guess my body wasn't ready to hold a bubba, but there are soooo many stories where ladies have successful pregnancies straight after, so there's no reason to wait if you don't want to.
I had to concede to dh a bit on this one. I just couldn't stand that if something happened, I would've always thought that i should have waited and then I'd have to hear (not that he really would, but i know he'd be thinking) that we should've waited. If another pregnancy doesn't work out, I really need dh's full support behind me, not him thinking in the back of his head that we really should have waited - does this make sense??? I know that in the big scheme of things 4 weeks doesn't really matter all that much, and i've said the same thing to friends of mine, but crap this four weeks will drag out.
I'm trying not to think about how far i'd be if we didn't m/c. Trying really hard.
But hey, in the spirit of thinking positive, if we do happen to get a bfp next cycle, bubba would be due on our wedding anniversary. Maybe that's a good omen. Maybe I'm just reading too much into things. There's a fine line between thinking positive, and getting your hopes up too high. Tell ya what though, after going through all of this, I think we'll all be much stronger women for it.
Smiles to all xxoo
I caved. How I wish I hadn't. If I get a pos test on Monday, baby will be due on Valentine's day next year... I'm really scared because I've been getting the same pains that I did when I got pg and then m/c at easter. And it's happening at the same time - a few days before AF is due.
Hey Smallfryplus- I understand your fears but please try not to stress:hug:. Valentines Day is my best freinds birthday, she is also my birth partner. If I get a bfp I'll be due on the 18th. :bluedust:
your best friend will be my goodluck charm. Thank you Sunbeam :) I'll hold onto that.
How are we all today? It seems things have slowed to a complete standstill in here. I hope that means everyone is well and happy.
Selfish paranoia post this time... again...
I'm symptom collecting at the moment and keep getting my hopes up higher and higher. Trying not to but really want to get a bfp this weekend even though I know I won't get one til next weekend if I am pg. Haven't spoken to DH about it at all this month and it's kind of bothering me that he's not even asking about it. I haven't brought it up because I don't want to get either of our hopes up. Maybe he's doing the same.
Have quite bad heartburn every time I eat anything which is really unusual for me, will only get it generally if I've eaten too much and that doesn't happen often. Keep running to the toilet to pee which is driving me nuts. Boobs hurt, waist is disappearing (already?!?!! surely not?!) Not bloated but feeling like I'm expanding (haha maybe I'm just gaining weight!) and getting little twinges in my abdomen all the time.
My aunt tells me it's common for women to gain weight after a m/c, has anyone else experienced this? I know I've gained some because of unhealthy eating cos I was depressed and comfort eating but I've gained more than I should have over just that.
FF has finally told me today that I'm not fertile - I've known that for ages!! But I didn't have enough of a trend for it to know when I ovulated... me neither unfortunately, so I don't really know when I can expect an accurate HPT result. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that AF doesn't arrive on Sunday.
:( i got a definate bfn with a fr brand, i feel so deflated, :(
I know all the it could be too early, maybe my wee was diluted stuff, i still feel deflated.
I want my other pregnancy back!
Its not fair and im sitting here in tears and my hubby doesnt care!!!!!!
Im so mad at myself for letting me believe that just maybe it could be my turn this month!!!
Im so mad at hubby for not even saying its ok, test again on the weekend, im so mad at the universe for taking my last pregnancy away, im so mad at my self for testing today, im just so mad!!
sorry Smallfryplus, didnt see u post ahead of me,
I have the heartburn and painful boobs too.
Smallfry+ I definatly gained weight around my lower tummy and thighs, which is not at all where I usually gain weight (thighs) symtoms sound very promissing :goodluck: when are you testing?
Anilia  will PM you take it easy mate.
Have a good day all :D
oh Anila, All your reasons could be right but I know that doesn't help for how you're feeling now, especially when hubby doesn't seem to understand what you're feeling.
Greenslw - testing on Monday if I haven't got AF (due Sunday morning). Glad I'm not the only one. I normally gain weight boobs but this time it's all tummy and butt. Very unusual! I saw my profile the other day and have a butt and have always been told I have no butt to speak of!!!
Hi Ladies,
It seems like the 2ww is taking its toll on a lot of us. It is very depressing after the wait to get nothing out of it and then get the courage to start another cycle. Again and again for some of us. I have my fingers crossed that at least one of us will be successful this month... and one by one is will be everyones turn!
Smallfryplus - I definatley think that i put weight on after the m/c. I remember looking for information on the net to see if it was possible for your body not to know you had m/ced and to still be growing. I gained in the belly, legs and face. I went from a size 9 in jeans to a 12 as my belly feels bloated all the time. Your symptoms do sound promising.
Anila - I am sorry you are feeling deflated. Its never easy. Im sure your husband is struggling with it too and it must be hard for him to see you so upset. I admit i try not to get upset in front of my husband very often cos he would want to stop trying if it was upsetting me too much and thats not what i want.
I have read quite a few stories of women not getting BFP until 4-8 weeks. Hang in there until a/f arrives. Its not over til its over for any of us.
Sending you :comfort: on this hard day.
thanks Maddison :) I feel better about ballooning now! (she says after muttering under her breath about connoisseur icecream trying to tell her that there are 10 serves in a 1l tub!).
My sis and aunt never got pos until 8-10 weeks. I'm impatiently drumming my fingers waiting for time to pass... Perhaps I'll go get a hair colour and update my look.
Thanks guys, im so glad i have u girls.
i hugged hubby and cried and i said i want my pregnancy back, its not fair and he hugged me back and said yeah its not fair, he then said he doesnt know what to say, cause he doesnt want to say the wrong thing and get me all upset.
just when i was getting mad at him he says something sweet.
and to top it all off i feel soo nauseas...
i looked at my last ttc diary and it was cd31 (same as today) that i got my faint pos, so i really do hope my wee was just way too diluted.
im not going to test till sat now.
Woohooo!! Glad that you and hubby talked Anila. That's great. And as for the nausea... excellent sign there. Just make sure you do the test first pee in the morning and don't drink too much before bed. I can't wait to see the result!
Oh, hey, another question - anyone been getting obsessively thirsty? I'm drinking so much water and can't stop myself.
thanks smallfry
im thirsty but for green cordial, and if i drink water it has to be really really cold.
Smallfryplus - your symptoms sound better and better each time you post. When will you test again? I am going to wait until about Thursday next week if a/f doesnt come on Tues /Wed. I think thats when im due. I get confused when im not looking at my chart. What hair colour are you going to go??
Anila - im happy you spoke with your husband. They have very different ways of expressing themselves and coping with grief. Sounds like you have a very special bond .
ASM - my face is breaking out. Yuck! Not feeling thirsty. Not really feeling much of anything. Usually im starting to feel a bit grumpy by now but not feeling that either. Oh how i would love to be feeling  or something.
clearly it's just us three in here today :) nice and intimate.
M - decicded against the hair colour. All that old wives tale stuff about shouldn't colour your hair if your preg... I'll deal with those grey hairs coming through for a while longer. Usually just add to my colour which is dark brown. There's a great colour called chocolate rush which is a deep brown/red/chocolatey colour. Seriously rich and tasty! lol
Monday morning test... go the public holiday! I'll celebrate all day with no study if I get a bfp!
Not grumpy is a good thing, have to admit I've not been grumpy this week either which is unusual for me. And face breakouts as well which is yuck. Not real bad though. I'm not too concerned about not feeling sick just now cos I know with my two successful pg I didn't get ms until around 6 weeks.
Anila - green cordial... you're giving me ideas. Couple days ago I HAD to have red creaming soda.
Hi Girls,
Been a busy morning!
Anila - the fat lady hasn't sung yet, so keep up the hope and if you get a chance, do something for yourself - even if it's just a zone out with a coffee and a mag for half an hour in front of Oprah or something. A bit of nurturing can go a long way, as can a big hug from dh!
Smallfryplus - your symptoms do sound good. Re: weight gain after m/c, I reckon i've developed a muffin top since the m'c which i swear wasn't there before the pregnancy. But I'm trying to eat a lot healthier and exercising again, so here's hoping the muffin turns into an Uncle Toby's Roll Up. Good luck with the testing.
Maddison and Sunbeam - keeping everything crossed for you guys too.
AFM - just got back from acupuncture so am feeling pretty lalala. I told the guy i'm going to ttc next month which goes against him wanting me to wait 6m (yeah right as if that was ever going to happen!?!?!) but at least we're on the same page and now he's altered my herbs and i'm seeing him again the week bf i ovulate to strengthen everything, so hope it all works out. have you guys had any acupuncture?
Good luck to all the tww'ers again. Can't wait to hear some news!! Woo hoo!!!
