Hi alice!!! x
jellylove- hahaha thats an idea!!! love it!!!!!!!
I have steam coming from my ears i was at work tonight and one of the pregnant skanks came into the cashiers counter where i work rubbing her belly and moaning about how she want's it over (she is 20 weeks) then she turns to me and says are you pregnant yet what is wrong with you both i just said we don't want to have a baby anymore we are saving for a house and going to spoil our boys i was trying really hard not to hit the rickter then i just wanted to curl up in a ball and die i spent my entire shift on the verge of tears i came home and fell into DH's arms and cried.
This is so hard i just want to end it either get pregnant or give up not the bullsh#t in between.
Sorry for the sook i had so much to say and was going to do persies and tell you about mischief and mayhem (mowgli & sarabi) but i just feel really bad i don't even want to talk to anyone at work anymore will my life ever be normal again?
Hi Ferrals: was just going to lurk and post tomorrow but had to write something when I saw your post. I can't believe the insensitivity of that girl at your work. I think you were very level headed in your response and incredibly strong to act as if it was no big deal when it felt so awful. I hope it took the wind right out of her sails (as though "I could if I wanted to (get pregnant)...I just don't feel like it right now!) She's obviously got NFI about the real world. Just because some people are careless with contraception and get UTD in a minute doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you when it takes a little longer.
Oh i hope what i've written doesn't sound silly. I guess what i'm trying to say is i'm sorry you had such a bad day.:comfort:
Ack, damn those skanks! She has no freaking idea what she's talking about. She's like the poster child for the young pregnant idiot we all despise. If she ever actually tries to get pregnant she'll find herself in a very different position, and I hope she remembers what she said to you and it just burns her. Karma! Your baby is coming ferrals, every cycle is a step closer, your getting healthier, so is your DH and it's gonna be so freaking wonderful when you hold that baby in your arms.
AFM assignment due today and I've got a bit more work to do on it, so gonna choof off now. Potential BFN for today, left it for 20 min before I checked and there was a faint line, but it was just coloured on the edge, so I'm pretty sure it's an evap. Will be testing tomorrow anyway, lol.
Hi to everyone, hope your monday goes well, muchos love xo
Hi lovely ladies
Sorry haven't popped in for a while - inundated with schoolwork that I'm super far behind in. Have been lurking and keeping tabs on you all, and couldn't resist replying to Ferrals.
I'm sorry that you have to encounter b!tches like that. It's true what Possum Magic said, she's got no idea about the real world, and she's obviously just an insensitive little cow. Try to stay positive, and know that you are doing so fabulously, and that YOUR TIME WILL COME! Don't let what she says get to you - she's so not worth it. You are beyond her, and really we should pity her for being such a clueless skank. Sorry babe - big hugs for you. Shake yourself off and move on. And give your DH big cuddles, he sounds like a great guy.
AFM: I'm not sure when I last updated? I had my HCG levels at 21 one week, then a week later they came back at 807. Last week I had an u/s and the little bean measured at 6w1d, making it due 21 December. Also saw the heartbeat fluttering away at 122bpm. I felt a bit reassured after that, as when I had the m/c last year the dating scan showed a hb of 90bpm, which apparently wasn't enough to keep it going, and I lost it that week. I'm still super nervous, and check every time I wipe when I go to the toilet. Every twinge I have has my heart racing, and I'm TRYING to not stress about it all, but it's so difficult. Bloody m/c has put the fear of God into me. I've also had more definite symptoms this time around, feeling nauseous all day unless I eat, very sore and bigger boobs, amazingly hideous pimples and extreme tiredness, so I'm trying to be positive.
I'm going to join up a Belly Buddies group, but plan to lurk & keep an eye on you all. Can't wait to hear all the BFP's that are coming up this month for everyone. Thanks for all of your support, you're all amazing women and I really appreciate all of you! Big kisses & cuddles & baby dust to everyone.

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this so you have to be kind :D My name is Lizzie and my DH and I have been TTC since december '09, We had a miscarriage in January '10 but since then my AF have been all over the place at one point even having a 55 day cycle!!! I tried the ovulation kits but i never got a positive (because i was testing on the wrong day) and now i dont know what to do... I know I should take a breath and let it happen when its supposed to but I have 10 pregnant people around me and it is sending me bonkers!!! I was wondering if anyone had any advice... AF came 23rd of April but was only very light lasting about 48 hours... So i dont know if i should even count that... I went to the doctor and had scans done to check my ovaries which are fine and blood tests to check thyroid which is also fine but my gloucose level came back slightly elevated... Could that have anything to do with anything??? Would love if you guys could give me your advice as i seem to be just :wall:...
Thanks
hi every one ,ferrals-hugs,your turn will come, remember what crafty said'may is your month'...murraycod-happy jabbing, keep us updated...betty-welcome to the thread, sorry for your loss,it is hard with so many pregnant ladies around you, hope you'll be able to join them again soon, with your cycle,it is common for it to be so mixed up after a loss,it is hard but seems to be a wait & see thing, frustrating i know,i had af's that only lasted 48 hrs,so i would consider 24th as af...ami-thanks for the update...kitfarie-hope that line starts getting darker in the next few days...alice-welcome home....
Hi everyone,
Ferrals-some people dont know how good they have got it! Be brave, we all know you will be getting your forever baby soon xx
Alice-its ok to fall off the food wagon! I hope you are well hun, enjoy a soy hot chocolate for mexxx
Crafty-glad you are getting back to being yourself, its nice to hear you positive and determined!
Kitf-hope your testing gives a bfp in the coming days x
Mathewsmum- how are you doing in your cycle?
Jelly- hope everything settles down for you at home, dh and i go through little periods of argueing then it settles, so i hope it is the same for you.
Big hugs to everyone i have missed.
AFM- now in the tww and not feeling like we got the egg this month cuz dh had to go brisbane on sat, right in the middle of everything! I really hate waiting games!
Xxx
Ferrals- I am so so sorry that ur shift at work had to be completely wrecked last nite. That girl has no idea whatsoever. I hope she has a really painful birth and urs is a breeze! :) Just know that ur not the only one out there finding it a little difficult ttc.. we're all in it together.. and theres nothing 'wrong' with any of us. It will happen for everyone here.. and this month is ur month!!!!! :D
Kitfaerie- Oh my god! i think u will be the first may BFP!!! YAY!! i hope so! keep on testing daily and let us know. exciting exciting exciting!!!!! :)
Ami- Ive been wondering about u.. was hoping everything was going fine.. so glad it is! Good on u! :D Hope u have a h&h pregnancy. Drop in occasionally! But i guess we'll be seeing u on the other side soon anyway! hehe x
Betty- Sorry for ur loss, its awful isnt it.. ESPECIALLY when u want to start ttc straight away and ur body isnt doing what its meant too! Frustrating plus!!! I had a mc in feb and didnt get af for 10 weeks til i went back to gyno and he put me on provera to bring it on, I am now taking clomid to make sure i ovulate in the next couple weeks. Maybe you cld see if u cld go on clomid? That will make u ovulate and u will be a lot clearer as to when u will be.. it will also make ur cycles close to 28 days.. it will basically sort out what ur going thru. Thats just my advice anyway.. it cld be wrong.. im all for clomid though!!!! :D Good luck and let us know how u go!
Bons- I hope the tww goes quick! I reckon u will join the may club too :D
AFM- i have moments where i am so full of despair! its awful.. i get myself quite worked up that im not still pg. Every day that ticks past frustrates me. Its almost half way thru the year and im still trying. its annoying cos ive only really had 2 months where i cld actually try because all the other months since sept my body has been crazy. its so annoying. It will be our 1 yr anniversary in sept and we will probly still be trying! my dream was to fall pg on our wedding nite.. frustrating frustrating frustrating!!! :wall:
So much for my positive thinking haha.. always easier said then done.
This better be all our month! FX xxxx
Ferrals Babe, just think, she obviously has nothing more importaint going on in her life, and must have a very LOW self esteem if she has to make herself feel better, by torturing you XX
Either that, or doesn't have enough brain cells in that head of hers, to think of something more 'Adult' to talk about.
Huggs to you babe, don't waste your energy on her for one more second.
Audax!!! Hmmm, wet nickers hey?! EEEEEEWWWWW!!!!!
I'm going through about 6 super pads a day, beat that!!!!! Lovely to see you pop in X
Reet, IKWYM hun, I hoped to have my family by the time I was 30, so I guess I wont be popping out 2 or 3 kidds in two weeks at this stage. Huggs X
Bons, spermies can live for a suprisingly long amount of time in there, so enjoy your TWW, hope it is a fast one for you XxX
Matthew'smum how are you?? Whay cycle day are you on? I hope this month goes quick for you, and me X
Ami, it is nice to hear that you are doing so well. Enjoy your Bellybuddies group, it was a pleasure to have you aboard, even if only a short stay (lucky girl!) XxXxX
Kit, much love right back at'chya XXXX Bet you are glad to get this assignment off your hands today! And as for the HPT, best wishes for you tomorrow darling !!!!!
Possum, I'm heari'n ya babe!! Made perfect sense to me!
Hmmm, Jellylove....I have the worst imagianable vivid picture in my head right now, thanks :o
Alice, no need to feel guilty about falling off the bandwagon sweetheart, theres nothing in the rule books that say we cant actually enjoy our lives every now and then. And considering you are popping those contraceptive pills each day ATM, you deserve to have some fun. So good on you
Dory darling, I hope you are well XXX
Ric, missing you XXXXX Stop lurking and drop me a hello woman!!!!
AFM, first needle was a bit, uuuh, well lets just say, DH was out of practice...... He had to stick me twice because he got so nervouse putting it in, he yanked it out just as quick without actually administering the Puregon!!!!! GRRRR.
No matter done now, didn't really hurt that much but laying it on thick was fun and I got whatever I wanted for the rest of the night!!
He will be a pro again in a couple days the poor love!XXX
Betty, welcome to BB :welcome:
I am sorry for your loss darling, know that you are not alone, and we are all here to help in any way we can, even if is just to make you smile again XX
It is lovely for you to feel comfortable to join in, we are more than happy to have you, even if for the sad reason you are here in the first place, we will make your stay a supportive one.
My body was totally out of controll for months and months post M/C, actually in saying that, it still sort of is!
I know saying go with the flow is kind of making you feel useless, but in saying that, your body needs time to readjust also. Just be kind to your heart, enjoy your DH, and take it easy. If it was AF you had in Late April, you may have some more of an idea at the end of this month.
Anyways, nice to meet you, hope you make some great friends here X
bons-hope your still in with a good chance...reet-hope may is your month...murraycod-does the puregon come in the administrating pens like gonal-f? hope dh nerves settle..afm-cycle day 20,got to ring ivf clinic on day 1to start monitoring cycle for one of my little frozen bubs,i was reading the other day that their has been cases where none of the frozen embryos survive the thaw, that scares me,but got to take it a step at a time, and 1st step is getting af.We did b'd at appropriate time,so theoretically in the tww
Yeah our darling little Blasties do it the hard yards to even get to Blasty stage, then only 50% survive the thaw. Is definately a numbers game. That's why in the end we didn't opt to organise another FET, we lost the nerve only having 1.
I do pray that we get a better number this time round. I was happy on 150iuPuregon and getting 9 fat eggs, but now I am feeling greedy, knowing I am on a much higher dose.
The Puregon is exactly like an Insulin Pen for a diabetic, just dial the dose and do the jab X
I am so so so upset/ angry/ frustrated. My DH found out today that hes going away for 3 weeks on wednesday for work. WHAT??!!!!!! I ovulate next wed!!! :( :( i was so sad when he told me but also really angry, i cldnt even talk to him cos i wld have cried and cried.. and then when i did it was something nasty. I know he understands its a big deal for me but i just dont think he understands how much of a BIG deal it is for me.. i think about it everyday allday. I wldnt have even wasted my time going to sort my body out this time if i knew this was going to happen. Why pump my body with unnecesssary drugs??!! I will be so frustrated next week. I wld have flown to him but where hes going u cant fly.. and the drive is dirt/ mud for 10 hrs. OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!
I sent his boss a text before cos DH is too embarrassed or something to talk to him bout it! GGGRRR i just asked if theres anything that can be done. Oh i hope there is... please please please!! i wld rather live in poverty for the next 3 weeks and have him home then him go away. Will find out in the morning.
Please everyone pray for me!!!! :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers: :crossfingers:
GRrrr! Just typed beautiful long post and lost it all. WIll try to resurrect from memory:
Betty: sorry for your loss and welcome to BB
Dory: Thinking of you. Hope all goes beeeeeutifully for your 20 week scan.
Murraycod: my favourite pin cushion! Brave girl. I'm superimpressed you are taking needles for the cause and even more impressed you are letting DH perform them on you instead of nurse. (Kudos to him to for being brave enough to do it. Does he need to close his eyes?!)
Mildez: you deserve bravery award for services above and beyond the call of duty (delivering babies on your EDD). I hope your sticky baby comes along soon.
Kitfaerie: I know how you feel in trying to find ways to POAS to avoid disappointment. I POAS in the middle of my cycle this month because i had crazy thought that cramping i was getting just might be pg symptom and the 6 day AF of two weeks before might be implantation bleed?!!! Actually i just wanted an excuse to get rid of the last of a nasty three pack of POAS which had already given me two BFNs. I'm planning on buying another pack which gives me the right answer at the end of this week!
Sunbeam: Impressed with your exercise plan (i'm pretty haphazard about exercise). Hope you had a good day yesterday.
Reet: praying you get better news tomorrow.
Jellylove: Sorry for your troubles. Hope you are feeling better soon.
TTCALC: GL for surgery and DH's test.
Ami: good news, keep it coming
Iona Macca: Gave me the giggles seeing your smilies cuddling! Good luck!
Bons: IKWYM. I don't have any pg vibes this month either.
Alice; Glad to have you back. Oh, the diet wagon: it's made for falling off my dear! I hope you enjoyed lots of good food (I do :D)
Mathewsmum, craftymummy, Saffy: hello there
Ferrals: Hope u feeling better today.
AFM: Just waiting (as you can tell by my lurid new ticker. I should tone down the colour but was too lazy to work out how to fix it. One day...). I don't think this is my month somehow. No cramping like i had ten days before BFP with DD. Can't remember what happened with last pg (Have blocked it from my mind i think). Has anyone else had totally different symptoms from one pg to the next (including NO symptoms pre-AF due)? Well... actually i do have some boob twinges but i think it's a wicked trick to try and fool me and probably AF coming not pg.
Hi all,
sorry this is going to be an all about me post...
I have been away and enjoying this time, sadly though it is ending...I started bleeding again yesterday and it is progressively getting heavier. I have a scan this morning but I have to say I am not hopeful....I am so very very sad...as most you know but may not remember, we are only trying until June...so unless I have miracle occur, I am out forever, I am struggling so badly to comprehend that at the age of 32 I will never have another child....I cant express how broken I feel, but I know you guys understand this pain...What am I supposed to do???
So Sad
Oh MillyD, love, at the moment you just feel as sad as you want, it's gonna hurt, but there is every chance of a miracle. They do happen. Just know that we're here for you, and your family loves you.
Reet: Hope you can get that boy to stay home! Catch the eggie!
Possum magic: Every pregnancy is different, there are lots of people caught unawares!
Murraycod: So do you have a magic egg number in mind? (this is part of the believe it and it will happen thing!)
Betty: Sorry for the loss that brought you here, but I hope you find some comfort.
AFM. Oof. I'm shaking a bit. Ok. I don't know why but it's actually quite hard to type this. :bfp: on day 12. Faint, but visible and came up around 6 minutes. I had a bit of a cry last night cos I wanted this to be my month (yay for may!) and I was so scared, I had really achy boobs and I just hate being tricked by my body, but I did the whole believe it thing. Spent the waiting time for the test in another room pacing. I wanna keep this one so badly. Had to show DH that POAS website so he understood than the line is allowed to be faint, lol. He's swapping between ''oh i knew you were pregnant'' and ''really? are you sure it can be that faint?''
So - yay for may! and yay for affirmations!
Oh possum magic: I actually have a list of my symptoms and the days I had them from Splat, and this time it was totally different, so it does happen.
OMG Kit - congratulations sweety, praying that line gets darker over the next couple of days
Will be back 2 do catch up and persies
