angelfish I'm really sorry for your loss  Welcome to the thread :) I'm glad you decided to join in!
MsKara- Basically the only people I have told is everyone on here, I don't want the pity from those around me, it is just too much for me to handle, it was bad enough when I lost the last one and told people I was expecting. As far as anyone on the outside are concerned, I am happy with just DS, it will stay that way until I am least 14weeks... if I ever get there again. Also have they done the blood tests for PCOS? Even though u/s is usually a great indicator they can also do blood work to try and get a look at the bigger picture. Mine was confirmed by both plus just by looking at me my doc was pretty certain especially because I carry ALL my weight around my middle. It's funny, I have normal arms and legs yet this huge gut.... makes people ask when I'm due alot though  well I am rambling on a bit so I guess I should get onto everyone else :p
Angelfish- Welcome and I hope this helps you as much as it is helping me :)
Trea- Mine definately doesn't Roar that's for sure ;)
Matthew's Mum- Definately learning new things everyday lol.
Reet- I can empathise with you there. Wouldn't it be nice for our bodies to just do what we want them to?
T-hopes- When do you find out about DH's lil wrigglers?
ForShelby- Hoorah for a "perfect" cycle and you totally must have balance :D lol
For anyone I missed, and those I havn't, lots of baby dust and sticky vibes to you all.
AFM- The spotting I had was just for a day but I constantly feel like I am about to flood (sorry bout the TMI) and I am cramping and my lower back is just killing me and the hot flushes are driving me bonkers. I have no idea why it is all happening but I am considering going to the docs and seeing if she could do an U/S just to make sure there is nothing left from 8 weeks ago.... wow I cannot believe it has been that long already. I should have been 15weeks today.
Just lost huge post...grrr! Will have to retype later : (
Matthew’s mum – I’m on CD23, 9DPO...my last few cycles have been 25 days so we’ll see how we go. How are the bt going??
Loops – how are you going sweety??
Forshelby – my stalker friend, hope AF leaves in the next couple of days. Thinking of you sweety xoxo
Dory – how are you going, hope that bubba is cooking well!!
Reet – hoping AF shows up for you soon, it’s so hard not knowing what our bodies are doing especially when we want them to do what they are suppose to be doing
Trea – that is such a true quote....and we all do have courage, as we pick ourselves back up every month when we don’t get the results we were hoping for
Angelfish – welcome chook and sorry to hear about your loss
MsKara – nope don’t share with DP, less stress on him, I just tell him when we get to do the bding bonanza hehehe. So glad AF has left the building bring on the big ‘o’.
Damprye – I hope your body starts settling down!! I know what you mean about thinking about how far you would be, I find it difficult as one of DP’s friend’s girlfriend is due 5 days after lil one’s due date....so seeing facebook status’s and seeing them can be difficult at times.
Possum – how are you going sweety, has those lines got darker??
Kit – how are you going, hope that lil bean is snuggling in comfortably
Murray – those levels are awesome, when do you go for a scan??
AFM: Woke up feeling queasy and am having twinges and funny feelings in my bb’s....technically going by my last couple of cycles, AF is due in 2 days....not sure if I will test thurs morn as I have a personal training sess in the morn and would rather let my trainer know as soon as possible so that we can adjust my workout. Hmm i just don’t know!!!
Possum- How bloody frustrating!!! i hate that! u know wat i do now.. when i know im going to do a long post i write it on a word document and then just copy and paste it on here.. cos its happened to me far too many times where my internet connection has dropped out etc and have lost everything!
Damprye- I think an u/s sounds good for u.. did u have a d&c after m/c or natural? i have heard of bits still being left there even from a d&c so it wld be worth a look.. cos yeah it doesnt really make sense why ur spotting, getting cramps and hot flushes. Good luck with finding out!
MsKara- Im so glad my quote helped u to get thru.. i just love it. I found it a couple of weeks after my m/c.. it made me realise that yep u cant move on when ur still living in the past.. its a bit like that quote that goes when 1 door closes another door opens but u dont normally realise cos u are still thinking about the past too much to see the new beginning.. i know its not exactly like that.. but u get my drift!! :) And yeah i tell my dh all about my opks and bleeding etc.. i figure if i have to go thru heartache, worry, confusion, frustration etc.. he shld too. I think it helps for them to understand what we’re going thru too.. they get off way too lightly otherwise! And u will find it doesn’t affect them quite as much as it affects us.. guys are a lot less emotional..they deal with things differently to us. I also find if dh knows that i got a neg. Hpt or my bodies playing up etc he can be the positive one and help me to think we CAN thru and it WILL eventually happen for us!
But with all that said, if u think its best if dh doesnt completely cop the tough part of this ttc then thats all good too! I bet mine wishes i didnt tell him everything all the time! :)
Angelfish- Welcome! So sorry for ur loss :( im so glad we have all helped u.. i know i lurked for a while and it was a huge help reading everyone elses stories. Dont be shy now.. we all know what a tough journey this can be. xx
Iona- Test tomoro!!! Come on!!! We need another bfp!!!! :)
Matthews mum- Sorry i forgot u were doing the fet this month.. oh good luck with the defrosting of ur little embie.. i hope everything goes exactly to plan and u are utd in no time at all!
Forshelby- How u going??? I had the weirdest dream about u last nite! I dreamt that i found out that u were actually one of my friends called chantelle (thats not ur name by any chance??!) haha.. it was very very weird! i remember being all kinda embarrassed cos i had said so much stuff on here that i dont even tell my dh and friends etc.. and when i found out it was her i spun out cos i hadnt even realised she was ttc! but ur story fully came into my dream.. like how 2 yrs ago u had m/c and ur dp kinda freaked out so u cldnt try for a while etc.. i was really suprised cos i hadnt even realised she was with anyone! Very strange!
AFM- Just waiting waiting waiting! No feelings of af arriving at all. Cant wait to get bt done tomoro morning.
Hello to everyone else too!!!!!! xxxx
Ms Kara - good work on the exercise - can you do some for me? I miss exercise so much... c'est la vie.
Ionna - hope those are good symptoms - only 2 days more to wait.....
Forshelby - Thankyou sweetie.... I too feel most of the time like the meek little voice at the end of the day saying try again, or tomorrow is a new day. But sometimes, I think there might just be a roar in there waiting to come out. Hope AF leaves too - it just amazes me that AF can be such a time pf physical misery.
Mathew's Mum - awesome that you caught that eggie. Did I read right?
Trea - hiya, I don't know if we've met, so I wanted to say Hi.
Angelfish - glad coming here has helped but so sorry for your mm/c that brought you here in the first place - how are your cycles coming now?
Reet - I mix up how much I tell DH. Sometimes everything about everything, and sometimes only bits. Sometimes I wait a day or two and then tell him. We had a talk not that long ago and I asked him if he wanted to know everything or just the emergency stuff. I can't remember what he said, so will have to ask again. Whoops. All I can remember is the way I asked the question, which was in a way that suggested the answer. He still helps me with my temp charts. I want to keep him informed and involved but don't want to make it too dreary for him so that he tunes out. That would be the worst. I also realise that I will obsess a lot more over things than he ever will, so if its one of those I just give him the highlights. Labelling thermometers is such a good idea.
Hope that BT went well this morning. You should have the results soon?
Dampyre - I didn't really get your post at first, but I did with some help. I take my temps orally. I can't do it any other way.
Possum - I do that too sometimes so I share your pain. Hopefully not today for me.....
AFM - waiting for fur bab #2 to come home at 4.30pm from his tooth extraction. I am not as anxious this time as I was 2 weeks ago for #1, but still anxious. Have the other fur babies asleep around my legs at the mo - must be a cue for me to have a snooze too. If I do 4.30pm will be here in no time.
Hiya to anyone else I have missed not intentional
hi everyone,dory-more like the scientist caught the egg, after stim ivf cycle,i had 6 embryo's frozen,so hopefully be transferring one of those, they don't do transfer until the bt's i've been having shows i've o'd,due for another bt tomorrow...angelfish-sorry for your loss, glad you decided to post, that is a big step in itself...
Reet - Yes, I did tell DP about the OPK's, but not about the HPTs. I didn't know how, and thought he'd probably just think I was crazy anyway. He was really nonchalant about af arriving, too. I didn't really expect him to be any other way though. I mentioned it since I was writhing around in pain, and told him it looks like he has to get back to work this month cause we didn't get there this time. He turned to me and said "Well, I didn't expect for it to happen straight away", with this tone that made me feel about *this* big. *sigh* MEN! And yes, I have most definitely joined you all in crazyland. LOL... it's hard not to get sucked in. I hope af shows up for you really soon, and your body starts behaving. You're such a good role model for me exercising etc.. but you know I won't do it :D and LOL @ you egging Iona on to test early. You're so naughty.
Matthews mum - I used to take naprogesic, but somehow can't justify buying medication for such a specific purpose... which only happens once a month. Is that a strange way to think? Or am I wrong, is it good for random headaches, too? It's been years since I bought it.
Trea - Hi, I don't believe we've crossed paths yet. I'm relatively new so just wanted to say a big hello to you.
Angelfish - I'm sure I've read some of your posts around the place before. WELCOME to the thread, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you find this place as comforting and as much fun as I do. The girls in here are fabulous.
MsKara - Use the toothpaste trick wisely, my friend. LOL.. I've been using that trick since I was a teenager. Works wonders! And leaves you with a minty fresh forehead. I'm not sure why anyone would want that, but it can't be a bad thing, right? Was it difficult to get the black dye out of your hair? It took me 18 months to go from reddish brown to blonde, despite that being my natural colour. To answer your question, no, I don't share everything or even a lot with my DP. He was so against TTC for so long I don't want to scare him off. I figure if he wants to know, he'll ask. Apart from telling him in no uncertain terms when it's time to DTD, (NOT NEGOTIABLE.. lol) and when af arrives, that's it so far. Sometimes I wish he was more supportive, or even knew the things I'm going through on a daily basis, being the woman and all.
Damprye - Hoorah indeed. I am lucky. I hope your cramps and lower back pain ease up soon, maybe seeing a doctor is a good idea if only for your peace of mind.
Possum - LOL @ your lost post. I know that feeling. It's happened a few times to me, except on my smartphone, which I agonizingly thumb-typed while the computer was broken. Horrible!!
Iona - Look how well I'm doing at lying low! LOL :D So far I managed to stay away while I was at work. So not an achievement at all...... haha. I'm addicted to this place. I find it really entertaining and would hate to get behind on what's going on with my girls. I can't believe af is due in 2 days for you already! I bet your 2ww flew by faster for me than it did for you, hehehe. I hope the queasiness is a good sign... and don't listen to Reet, she's gone bonkers. Haha, sorry Reet - you know I love you... :)
Dory - af is definitely a misery. I forgot how crappy it really was, but I'd rather have a sucky 2 days a month than those dreaded bcp headaches I was getting. You know, the kind that last for days and even 4 nurofen plus can't kill. I went to see some random doctor at one point demanding to have my prescription changed, and he just shrugged me off and said 'you'll get pregnant on a mini-pill, so stick to the one you have'. (He had no basis for this, btw) What an idiot. Anyway, that's my little rant over... lol. I hope you're well, and thanks once again for all your kind words. I hope your furbaby is recovering nicely after the tooth extraction.
AFM, nothing to report. Except a frustrating day at work dealing with disgruntled old battleaxe co-worker spending most of her day looking for reasons to hassle me, and leaving all the extra work (we're short staffed right now) to me, while complaining how busy she is... sipping her 5th cup of tea for the morning and spending half the day in the toilet. ARRRGHHHH!!!!!! lol I feel better now.
I have a question too: Where do I get a cycle ticker?
Reet - lol at the egging on - I'll do a deal if I have no sign of AF arriving (ie..no pre af spotting) I will test on thurs morn as I forgot I have a PT sess to catch up the week I had off, yes dedication hehehe
matthew's mum - how are the bt's going??
forshelby - see you love us tooo much to stay away, and I would prob nag you until you showed your face again hehehe..hoping af calms down for you over the next day or 2 sweety. I think I used to have a ticker from tickercentral or lilypie...you can normally click on someone elses and it will take you to the website!! xoxox
AFM: felt tired again and hungry every couple of hours and peed a few more times then normal also have a few lil cramps and sore back but the back may still be from our holiday - sleeping in a crappy bed, **TMI WARNING** CM is still quite creamy, so let's see if tomorrow brings any pre-af spotting
Forshelby- I think ur right in taking it a bit slow with telling dp all the ins and outs of whats going on with ur body. As he gets a bit more used to the whole ttc thing he will come around a bit more im sure. Dont take offence and think he doesnt care.. males just have a whole different thinking pattern.. they are a lot more simple. They also wont ever understand the female body completely just like we wont ever understand the male brain!
To get a ticker just click on someone elses and it will take u to a website where u can create ur own. It took me a while to figure out how to do it but i eventually got it it.. it just went down the drain anyway cos cycle day 1 never came when it was meant too! Grrrr!
And yes i really must stop pushing ppl into testing early! I just get so excited when someone comes on here and says they have got a bfp! it gives me that bit of hope that oneday soon it will be me!
Sorry iona.. i can wait 2 days til u test.. i wont hassle u anymore! haha :)
And forshelby i understand what u mean with not really wanting to take anything when u have af pain etc. When i was having m/c my mum and MIL were both telling me to dose up on panadeine forte cos i was having excrutiating cramps.. but i just didnt want too.. i wanted to feel/ experience what my body was going thru.. Weird huh!!
Dory- I hope ur kitty cat came back home all happy :) i did blood test today so i will ring tomoro to see if results are back! Hope ur doing well. Ur tummy wld be starting to get bigger now! i bet thats exciting! :) x
afm Just cuddling on couch with puppy.. shes such a snugglebug.. its so nice :) cant tell dh shes inside though.. we are meant to be strict with them now and keep them outside the whole time! What he doesnt know wont hurt him!!! hes a big softie when it comes to our girls though.. so he wld probly understand!
Goodnite all xxx
Sorry iona missed ur post! Ok deal!!!! :) yay!!!
Hey Ladies,
My names is Kate and I have just recently suffered my second M/C - it was an early loss I would have only been 5 weeks.
I am still so very sad for the little bub that I will never get to meet.
I look fwd to getting to know you all and sharing our TTC journeys together - if you will have me!
Kate xox
Iona - Yep, I love you guys way too much to stay away. :heartbeat:
Reet - I missed your post about the weird dream.. that's so funny. And a tad spooky. My name is very close to Chantelle. It's actually Janelle. But everyone calls me Nelly. Oooooh, now my cover's blown. LOL I think it's cute you had a dream about me. Now I feel all spesh. awwwww :) I wonder how accurate your 'vision' of me was though. I'll be really freaked out if you can give me an accurate description of how I/Chantelle looked. Sometimes I dream about people I don't know (if that makes sense) and they never have a face. Weird, but that's how it is. It's like my mind is too busy coming up with weird scenarios to be bothered adding a face. LOL And I kwym about men thinking differently. I know DP is serious about starting a family because he took out life insurance yesterday. I only mentioned it once! :D So proud of my responsible man, looking out for me and bubby to be.
Better get off the net now, DP is all jealous because the furbabies are snuggling in around me, and he's sitting on his own. LOL... I can't help it if I have animal magnetism. :D We actually got the dog because HE wanted it so bad, and since day 1 the little man has been a mummy's boy! DP says he wants to get another dog so he can claim it as his, but I told him no, you're getting a baby. The smirk I got was priceless.
And thanks girls for the ticker info. I need something to pass the time until the next O. :)
I am way to exhasted to do persies right now (my own fault ;)) but after looking at my FF Chart I realised that something on the had canged and after checking the calender and checking what all the key things were, I came to realise that yesterday and today I was supposed to be DTD even though it seems to early to my but DP didn't mind at all when I dragged him off to bed hehe. I will keep temping and hopefully it is right and O day is right around the corner.
Hi girls,
Will do persies tomorrow. Tired from running after DD who did not sleep today and i'm too disheartened to retype long post i lost this morning. I usually 'copy' a post before i hit 'submit' in case something goes wrong but this time i just moved my arm a bit over the mouse pad and the whole thing went 'foof!' GOne! Don't know what in heck i pressed! Hugs to all.
dampyre  hope you're feeling better this evening! I know what you mean, I can't believe it's been almost 4 months for me. I feel like the last 4 months have been just a blur. TBH I only feel like I've "woken up" in the past few weeks, and I'm trying to catch up on the outside world again.
Iona honestly... you have such great self discipline!! I would have crashed by now lol
Reet I decided I wasn't going to share with DH after the neg HPT I took when my first cycle was late after the m/c. He seemed so down... I couldn't bare it! You're 100% right. I will happen for us :)
dory I'm having enough trouble doing my own exercise hahaha. I hope your furbaby is ok! I get sooo anxious when mine has any problems!
Forshelby I haven't removed all the colour. I didn't want to ruin my hair by stripping it, so I had a half head of blonde foils put it, and now it's blonde at the top to a coppery colour at the bottom lol.
Jakabella welcome :) I'm sorry you've had to join us
AFM... interesting day! I got my blood test results back. Apparently my Thyroid hormones are too low, my SHBG levels are too low and my "Free Andorgen Index" is way too high, so I've been referred to an endocrinologist and placed on thyroid meds in the interim. I've done some research and found this could mean 3 things; PCOS, diabetes or Hypothyrodism, all of which are in my immediate family. I think my TTC journey has just gone on a sabbatical for a little while!
Reet - so tomorrow morn it is....oh how scary!!!
Kate - so sorry to hear of your loss, but welcome to our thread. We are a crazy bunch of ladies....well I think we are hehehe!!
forshelby - aww the little things that our DP's do to show they do care....my DP does every so often!!
damprye - hope 'o' is around the corner and you catch that egg!! I know I always seem exhausted or DP annoys the hell out of me when we are suppose to dtd!!
possum - hope you get a good sleep!!
MsKara - hope you get some answers from those results....hope it doesn't disrupt your TTC journey too much
Hi to dory, murray, kit....everyone else I have missed!! i have a mental blank
AFM: well this morn I felt queasy, and i have so much saliva in my mouth that I feel that I have my teeth clenched incase anything comes up and out. And it took me forever to drink my green tea. Sorry about the TMI!!! My head feels like it's going to drop off, it's soo heavy....no spotting yet!!
xoxoxo
Iona- M/S is a great sign hehe, can't wait till tomorrow :D.
MsKara- I really hope they find out which i is and soon that was they can take measures to sort it out and you can get back TTC.
Possum- It really is annoying losing everything especially because everything is on the spot and you shouldn't have to think about doing it all again grr, so peeved for you.
Forshelby- That is great news about DH showing some inititive :D
Kate- Welcome, I hope your time with us here is short and that you do not have to go through losing yet another angel.
Reet- LOL why not be a big softy hehe, I used to sneak my furbaby in to :P
MatthewrsMum- I hope that FET goes well.
Dory- How is your furbaby?
AFM- I feel somewhat fantastic this morning, accoring to my FF chart, the big O should be happening tomorrow. I have an increased sex drive which is fantastic as it is usually a sign I get before I O. i have no idea about my CM today though as we DTD last night so anything there... well I'm sure you have all BTDT lol. Well I am off to tafe, I might sneak on while I'm there though hehe.
