Hi all - I have turned into a lurker rather than a poster these days... but I have been following your journeys. Just a few quick comments from me, and please just because I haven't mentioned you by name doesn't mean you are not in my thoughts and hopes.....
Mathew's Mum - hoping you've got your time for the transfer tomorrow - will have everything crossed for you. I am actually a wee bit excited.
Reet - awesome news about AF
Dampyre - poor blossom. Hope your body settles down and I hope you and DH come to some sort of peace in your relationship. Loss and tcc are very hard journey's and affect us, both men & women, in ways you least expect sometimes. They are not times we are usually operating at our best either - it's stressful and emotional whilst we struggle through. So don't be too hard on yourself, but also at the same time, don't let something fester and try to deal with it as soon as you notice it. Hugs.
Luna - welcome, sorry to hear about both of your losses, but you have come to a great place. I hope your stay here is short lived and you get to escape to a pregnacy thread very soon.
Kellbell - hope your little one starts to feel better soon.
TCCLAC - I loved the family holiday pics. The kids are all looking really good now ( as are you and Ron - give him my regards too). I like to hear from you, even though I know things are hectic for you.
AFM - all good here. Inching closer. Times flies but stands still. Have a good weekend all.
-
Matthews Mum - Good luck with your transfer tomorrow! I'm excited for you :)
Dory - Glad things are going well for you. I totally understand how time flies and yet stands still. Nice to hear from you again
Kellbell - So happy DD is starting to feel better. and yay for af! :)
AFM, I didn't get to bd last night... there's no getting DP in the mood when he's got his mind set against it. Damn! I'm hoping tonight isn't the same, or I'm going to have a very sad TWW. We only bd'd twice (I think) around O time last month and it obviously wasn't enough. Hopefully he'll be on board once I tell him IT'S TIME! Cm is starting to become slightly stretchy, so I know I have about 3-4 days to DTD as much as possible. It's times like this I wish he had a higher sex drive so I wouldn't have to beg!
Oh, and he's taken to calling BB the 'mother's club' lol. I think he's a wee bit jealous of how often I'm logging in to 'check on my girls', as I so lovingly call you all. He said by the time we have a baby it'll be born with a laptop. Maybe if he gets jealous I'll tell him I know a great way to get me off the computer... like sex! Haha. FX he doesn't do his usual Friday night drink-athon and is up for some wink wink nudge nudge.
Take care everyone, hope you all have a great weekend.
-
Forshelby - ha, men can be so stubborn. When they can't have it all they think about is having it, but when it's offered up, sometimes it's just all too much bother, even when not tcc.... they are more fickle than we give them credit for. Hope that tonight it works out for you and you are telling fantastic stories about your antics tonight.
-
forshelby, DP is the same here...I've worked out by saying if you want to help make this baby you better get your gear off now or it's another month!! as the I found having the converstion thaat we need to bd this time goes in one ear and out the other...hehe
let the bd bonanza begin lol....i think i bd cd 12, 14 & 15
matthew's mum - wishing you all the best for tomorrow, hoping the transfer is a success
hi to everyone else, sorry I should really be studying but mind is another place
AFM - had bloods done to check for hcg levels as had brown discharge, some blood and lower back pain yesterday.....the wait is killing me for my dr to ring!!! I just want to know now if they are where they're suppose to be or not...grrr
talk to you girls later
xoxoxo
UPDATE: my hcg levels are at 14....not great but that's saying I'm pregnant.. see how the weekend goes and go for more bloods on monday. the only time i have had blood today was just now when i went to the toilet!! oh the uncertainity is killing me
-
Oh Iona- thinking of u.. u poor thing having to get thru the weekend. FX everything is fine. Im not too sure about hcg levels.. what shld they be at for how far along u are??
Good luck and yes try and relax over the weekend, altho that will drive ur mind a lot more crazy.. just cant win! Thinking of u xx
Kellbell- I bought it from a health shop at a shopping centre.. apparently it has only been on the market for a week or 2.. i had about 3 different types of remedies in my hand and asked the fella working there what he recommended and he said defintely the sperm max. It was $69.95 for 60 pills so rather expensive.. but hey i have spent so much money going to gyno appointments ect... really wats the difference!!
Forshelby- I cant even begin to imagine what it wld be like for my dh not to be interested.. i dont think its ever happened once in the whole 5 years we have been together.. there have been so so so many times i have wished he didnt have any sex drive! I basically have none.. so its always like a chore for me.. i like it 'Wam bam thanku mam' style! haha. I know wat u shld do!! Drug him with horny goat weed!!!! hahaha wat a fantastic idea!!! just secretly hide it in food or something! it wld be hilarious!!! Im thinking i might try the same :) Dare u too!!! Jst do it around 'o' time.. he wldnt know wat hit him!!!
Ttcalovechild- Love ur pics as well.. u sound like u have such a hectic life.. wonder woman!!
Hi Dory- Lovely to hear from u xxx
Matthews mum- Oh its sat tomoro.. yay!!!! I hope everything goes brilliantly! pls keep us posted! there will be a lot of ppl waiting to hear all about it! Good luck :)
AFM- AF has slowed down a bit.. thank goodness! Im ready to start on the clomid on sunday.. woohoo!! Which reminds me I must go and buy it from the chemist tomoro in preparation! DH gets back tomoro arvo just for the nite.. poor bugger not being able to bd.. well i guess the shower is always an option.. depends how desperate he is for it! The sperm max might be kicking in and getting his sex drive in OVERDRIVE! :) I hope u all have a fantastic weekend! xxx
-
Grr I lost my whole post :(
Good luck to the ladies coming up to O day, tire those men out ;)
Matthew's Mum- Woohoo I hope tomorrow goes well for you :)
Iona- Sending you lots of sticky vibes.
To everyone- thank you for the advice it really helps :)
AFM- Things are still a bit finicky with DP but right now I am just trying to destress so we are having a little break from each other, my decision.
The spotting the other night got worse and I went to see my doc and he sent me for a blood test to check all my levels. I should get at least some sort of answer tomorrow Definately not looking getting my hopes up for a BFP because with everything going on lately I doubt there is any possibility :( Carrying on with my charting though, this month will be my first full month of charting :) I think I want to get a proper BBT thermometer for next month though. Also started taking vitamin C tablets after speaking with a nutritionist. If nothing else it should at least perk up my immune system :)
-
Iona - Hmm, I might have to try that approach! I can picture it now. "YOU! PANTS! OFF! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol. I don't know a whole lot about HCG levels, except that they can vary greatly and still be normal. What matters is whether they're increasing as they should. When I had my mc my levels were at 3900 and falling. That was at just over 7 weeks pg. Within 2 weeks they were back to zero. I'll never forget what the nurse said to me. "For what it's worth, your body did a good job of miscarrying." At first I thought it was horrible, but really, it was the truth. I didn't have to suffer (physically) for an extended period of time, and a d&c wasn't neccesary. At the time I failed to see how lucky I really was. Anyway, enough about me. I hope this weekend flys by for you and before you know it the doctors will be telling you your numbers are up over the 100 mark. :) No more strenuous exercise, okay? Be a good girl and sit on the couch surfing the net like I do... lol
Reet - LMAO at your horny goat weed comment. What the heck is that anyway? LOL... I burst out laughing when I read it and then had to explain to DP why I was laughing. His response was "WHAT DID YOU TELL THEM?!" lol........ omg. I hope he doesn't develop a complex about it all. I just told him the next couple of days are our 'golden opportunity'. So now it's out there! And yet his pants are still on. *chuckle* I don't think I'll get my way tonight, but as long as I get in a few good rounds between tomorrow and Monday, that should be enough. Ugh, I hope it's enough. I just might have to bust out that lingerie tomorrow. Perhaps greet him when he finishes work in some kind of crazy costume? Once I beat him home from work, and greeted him with nothing more than a very long length of red ribbon wrapped (rather stylishly I might add) around myself, covering all the good bits. The look on his face was priceless. And his answer was "leave it on". Hahaha.... we didn't end up DTD but it sure was fun to surprise him with some naughtiness. I highly reccomend the ribbon trick to you all. Good luck with your round of clomid, and with the shower! Cheeky girl you are... lol
Damprye - I wish things were easier for you right now. Yay for your charting efforts though, you're doing well! I hope things with DP sort themselves out really soon. Big hugs for you, hun. Has the bleeding stopped yet? I'm glad you went to see the doctor. Keep us posted on the results of the bt's.
AFM, getting ready to stuff some toilet paper in my ears and go to sleep. Lol.... the short answer to all your 'wtf's' is this. Alcohol + extremely tired DP = loud snoring. Multiply by snuggling cat and divided by dog. I realise earplugs would be a good solution, but who could be bothered when there's perfectly good toilet paper right there in the ensuite?? I guess paper towel would work just as well. Or Blu-tak? Feel free to experiment a little should you try this one at home. :D
Night, ladies!
-
hi girls,
you are making me laugh with all your naughty talk lol
Forshelby: i hope you have some luck convincing DP for a few attempts over the weekend ! and good luck sleeping tonight with the snoring !
Mattewsmum: good luck for the transfer tomorrow im sending you lots of positive thoughts
Reet: yay for af arriving and good luck with the clomid, both my children were conceived on clomid, both on the 1st attempt !
Iona: i hope the bleeding settles down for you and monday brings you some good news with your next lot of hcg's done
Dory: i came across your ticker in another forum, things are looking great for you, although im sure you are still highly anxious, big hugs for you
Damprye: sorry you are still having problems with your partner, i hope the bleeding and your problems with him settle down
afm: im glad this week is over, my DD is going well, her eye is bruised and it breaks my heart to see her with stiiches in her eyelid but i went and got her some good cream for when the stitches come out to try and reduce the scar as much as possible. still haven't had any contact with any of my family, it is hurting less now, it just feels ridiculous and unbeleivable that they could just treat me like this. the worst part is my DD keeps asking if they are still upset and angry at me (didn't know what else to tell her, she is used to seeing them every week), she misses them but i just don't know i can forgive and forget and let the kids see them.
i had initially thought i would put off ttc for a bit given the huge amount of stress i have been under lately but now im thinking we might get going again as soon as i have seen the specialist next month (assuming all the blood tests are normal)
-
Forshelby- U serious u have never heard of horny goat weed??!!! haha well that makes me feel silly! i thought everyone wld have! has anyone heard of it??! Im pretty sure u can get it at woolies and stuff.. i dont know how good it is.. but ive been tempted to use it! theres one for girls and one for guys. Give it to ur dp!! Imagine the sausage sizzle!! Haha funny that u told him why u were laughing.. he will be all paranoid now.. but i guess atleast he might think about his actions from now on!! Just wake him up in the morning.. get to him before he has a chance to wake up properly!! U can do it!!!! :) xx oh and maybe the couch wld be a better option for ur sleeping arrangements tonight?!! it all sounds a bit crazy! dog..cat..snoring..!! haha oh how i sometimes love living the single life.. my bed all to myself.. oh well except for my puppy.. :) nite nite x
Minniemouse- Sorry to hear ur family problems arent any closer to being resolved. I think u shld jump on the bandwagon with us and get crazy with the whole ttc thing!! Show ur family that u dont really care what they think cos its YOUR life! Show them that u cldnt be happier.. maybe they will realise that this is something u really do want. xx
-
Horney goats weed does work ;) DP used it for a while and it was AWESOME, he could actually keep up with me :p
-
Glad someone has heard of it!! thanks damprye!! i hope ur blood tests come back ok.. maybe a break is what u need from ur dp.. make u both realize what u have. Thinking of u x
-
damprye-hope a break from dp is just what the dr ordered...ionamacca-hope you can find a distraction over the weekend,at least for a little while ,good book, good movie?...minniemouse-glad dd is on the mend....thanks ladies for all your lovely words of support,i'm booked in for 11.15.
-
Hey ive never heard of it either lol - you think i could slip it in his tea :)
-
Hi girls,
well I think I'll be joining you wonderful ladies again but going to take a few days to get my head around it all.
TMI WARNING: Bleeding has got continuous and heavier since 8pm, just don't have much faith with my levels so low
will be back later lovelies
xoxox
-
Forshelby ~ thanks hun, im enjoying my TTC holiday LOL. Will miss you 2. But I am poping my head in from time to time.
Iona ~ FX those levels increase and the bleeding stops hun. Will be thinking of you.
GL ladies, hi newbies and wishing you all the best.
Hoping to see lots of BPF's very soon, when I pop in.
xoxo
-
Iona my heart goes out to you, please take care X
Loops, enjoy your holiday from all this!!!! Nice to see you drop bt now and then, love to you honey X
I was just popping my head in to wish Matthew'sMum all the very best for today, good luck, and I pray that your TWW goes quickly and smoothly for you XXX
I have not been the best, my cramping is getting stronger each day, and lower backpain for 2 days has immobilised me. I'm not confident I will see a HB on Tuesdays scan, I am terrified this Li'l bean has not continued to grow.
I feel bad for dropping in and having a downer post, I am not myself lately at all X
Love to you all X
-
Murrycod and Iona- Ihope things start looking up for both of you.
Matthew's Mum- FX for your big day today.
Loops- Hoping October comes swiftly for you :)
AFM- Well my doc assured me that my results would be in today but when I rang they said to call back Monday grr :( Good news is that I am only spotting brown again now, that makes *,M,M,* was expecting that it would have last a bit longer but I can't say I'm not happy that it wasnt. I am so looking forwards to Monday now, come on time pass already :D
-
Minnie - Poor DD. I hope her scar is minimal, and I'm so sorry your family are still being so ignorant. Just remember, without communication, there's no chance for a resolution. Maybe it's worth one more shot? Send your mum a card, or give her a call... just let her know how much it hurts that you don't have her support. Try to keep it as neutral as possible?? And congrats on deciding to TTC asap. I hope the specialist gives you the all clear!
Reet- LOL.. sausage sizzle. I love that term. I'm definitely going to ask DP if we can have a sausage sizzle tonight. Bahaha... And I've heard of horny goat weed, just had no idea what the heck it was or what it did. I might ask him if he'd be willing to be subjected to some experimentation. I've been taking folate, so it's only fair he should take something too, hehe. I warned him last night though that I'll be attacking him tonight... so I'd better make sure I look as provocative as possible. I made sure to put on my push-up bra today. It worked at the tyre shop, anyway... they didn't charge me to take off every wheel and check them out. Nice......... I've still got it. And bugger the couch. We have a spare bed but it's way too cold in there without DP's bodyheat. I think TP is a good compromise. Lucky for me though he didn't snore last night, but the cat did her usual 'pin down the blanket with my fat a$$' move, and it made for a bit of blanket wrestling during the night. It must be nice having the bed to yourself regularly, sometimes I miss those days. Other times I just elbow him in the back. LOL I hope you're doing well, and the preparations for your own sausage sizzle are underway! Remember. Push up bra. :D
Iona - :o I'm scared. But don't give up hope. It ain't over till it's over, ok? I'm not religious so I don't pray, but I'm going to give the universe a serious talking to on your behalf. They are NOT having your baby. FX it's just a random bleed, and everything is okay. Please try not to stress. Keep your feet elevated and try to go to your happy place. I'm here for you no matter what happens. Stay strong, sweetie.
Loops - Glad to see you're still lurking around. :D Don't wander too far away from us! As mum used to say, stay where I can see you. hehe
Murraycod - I hope the cramping is just stretching. Oh dear me. Please don't feel bad for feeling upset and worried, you're free to be yourself here. FX for a lovely strong flickering hb at your scan. You'll be in my thoughts right there next to Iona.
Damprye - Glad the bleeding has eased. I hope this break is just what you need. Good luck with your results on Monday. Try to distract yourself as best you can. A personal favourite of mine is youtube. Or knitting!
AFM, I woke up this morning as RANDY AS HELL, and of course DP was at work. *sigh* I'm also getting the beginnings of some EWCM, so of course, on the push-up bra goes.... and the new clothes I got last week at the sales. "what, this old thing? *bimbo giggle*" LOL. So far he hasn't noticed, but he did notice I washed the car like he wanted. The guy across the street noticed my push-up bra.... why doesn't DP? I think I need to get a bit crafty with my attempts today. Oh, and negative OPK this morning. I sort of expected that. But it's VERY negative, not like last month where on cd13 it was almost a positive. I guess no two months are exactly the same. It could be down to not using FMU like I had been, so it wasn't very concentrated. Anyhoo, I'd better get off the computer and get ready to go and visit our little niece for her birthday. I can't wait to see her little face when she opens her presents. :heartbeat: I hope we have a little girl just like her. She's an absolute angel, and I love her to bits. Even though DP and I aren't married, she still calls me Aunty Nelly. Melts my heart every time.
I hope everyone is well, and anyone else approaching O is sizzling those sausages. Push up bras, ladies!!!!
-
aftrernoon all-ionamacca-so sorry the bleeding has worsen, has it settled down at all through the day?..murraycod-thanks for dropping by,sorry your going through a rough patch, hope tuesday brings you the happiness you so deserve....forshelby-i think with opk,mid-afternoon wee is recomended & around the same time each day...afm-transfered 2nd embie what was thawed,1st one didn't survive the thawing process , i was able to bring it home to bury it.dr who did the procedure was really nice, hadn't seen him before,so i'm officially in the tww
-
Matthew's Mum- Sorry about the first embie. It was really considerate of them to let you take it home :) Yay for being in the TWW, come on BFP :D
ForShelby- Hoorah for sausage sizzle time lol :D
AFM- No more spotting, managed to catch my hand alight and found out that someone was murdered in the park a few houses from mine.
-
How is everyone tonight?
Matthew's Mum - sorry about the first embie hope your other bubba is snuggling in tight tonight
How sweet they let you take it home xoxox
woot only 13 days to ovulation for me!
-
damprye-is your hand alright?that's horrible about the park....kellbell-are you going to temp/opk?...
-
Mathew's mum: Sorry that one little embie is a garden baby but glad to hear one made it to transfer. Look forward to hearing your good news at the end of the TWW
Reet: Woo hoo! So glad for you AF arrived! Now for a little rest before the BD bonanza...unless you go the shower route!!
Forshelby: Wow, you deserve points for effort! Lucky DP! I hope you have a good couple of days!
Kelbel: Yeah, it's great when you know you're half way through AF and it's nearly O time isn't it?
Damprye: I hope your break does you lots of good and that you get some good news on Monday
Iona: sorry that things aren't looking promising and hoping you get an unexpected good news surprise on Monday.
Minniemouse: glad your DD is getting better... and i hate looking at my DD's 'sore' too. i've got my DH doing bandaid duty cos it makes me feel queasy when i do it!
AFM: Just over 6wks pg. Seeing my OB on Wednesday and hoping there's a HB. Felt quite tired today and a bit queasy and crampy (in a good way!) I'm keeping everything crossed. (Hope i don't offend anyone by giving an update in this thread but a couple of you were asking where i'm up to ... thanks for thinking of me).
-
Matthew's Mum do you take a preg test or wait for a blood test in two weeks?
Possum magic how exciting and nerve racking as well to see the heartbeat on wed. its truly a beautiful sound!
Bought tears to my eyes when i heard my DD's for the first time i was a nervous wreck before it though
fingers crossed for you :crossfingers:
yep going to try the temps and have a few opks left from last month.
What day do you girl have start your opks from? i have had a 34 day (chemical preg) and 31 day cycle
i have put the thermometer next to my bed to remember have got two mornings so far :D
Hope everyone has a lovely sunday
me i have a shift this afternoon hopes its not too busy
-
yuk i just realised reading back the post before how much i hate the word chemical pregnancy sounds so like i didn't care about it.
I don't have another word for it when it was before it was before four weeks. still sounds awful to me:cry:
just put our little lost bubba in my sig makes me feel better
-
Hi girls, just a quickie before I head off to the animal sanctuary with DP's family. Apologies for the me-ness coming up, will do persies later tongiht.
matthews mum - I opt not to use afternoon urine for opks because the logistics of trying to do that while at work are just impossible. They've worked for me just fine with fmu so far.... so I just kind of have to stick with that if I want to use them at all.
Can't remember much else of what I've read.. argh, sorry. Kind of rushing. Just wanted to update you all on the sausage sizzle.. or lack thereof. It seems DP is always 'too tired' around O time. Both months now he's been more interested in drinking as many beers/bourbons as he can on the weekend (which is when my fertile days have tended to fall).... and it's just so frustrating. So he's too tired to DTD, but can stay up late drinking. AGHHH. Oh and no ewcm today, so I'm pretty sad. This morning he was acting all frisky like, and I just said 'bit late.' His family is on their way over, and practically on our doorstep..... it's like he does this on purpose just to wind me up.
Anyway, sorry for the self indulgent whine... I just needed to vent a bit. I don't even know what to say to him that won't p!ss him off. My OPK was still negative this morning, but getting darker. I guess all i can do is hope that we DTD tonight and tomorrow (if i'm lucky) and hope that's enough. I honestly don't know how I'm ever going to get pg when I have to BEG for it. It's ridiculous, and embarrassing. It hurts asking for sex all the time and being rejected. The worst part is that we haven't even bd'd since Monday, so it's not like he's worn out. He's just..... avoiding it. Now I wonder if he even wants a baby, when he purposely avoids me when I'm fertile.
!@#$%^&*() Yay, can't wait to go and smile and have 'fun' today while I know this month is pretty much down the toilet. I keep telling him there are certain days I need him to.. y'know. And he said that was fine, at the start. It's like that's all out the window now, and he just can't be bothered making time to DTD. How is he going to be 'bothered' changing nappies and getting up in the middle of the night if he can't even be bothered MAKING the baby in the first place!!! And that's supposed to be the fun part!
Ughh... sorry. I'm going to log off now before I depress anyone with my sooking. It's just so.... hard. I like Reet's idea (or was it Iona) of asexual reproduction. :(
-
Oh forshelby- that sux. U dont really want to start arguing with him about it either cos then u defintely wont get a bd in tonight. I dont reckon its too late tho.. once u get the + on the opk it still takes like 24-36 hrs til u actually O. And it takes the sperm i think max. 12 hrs to get to the egg and then its happy to just sit and wait.. so i reckon ur defintely still in with a chance.. as long as u get one in tonight or tomoro morning and the morning after that. I think u need to sit him down and have a chat too.. and just ask if its all getting a bit too full on for him and freaking him out (i cant really see how.. but males are truly bizarre creatures) and say if it is then u will just try and relax a bit more about the whole ttc thing.. u dont have to tho, just pretend to him u are.. go crazy on here with us!!! haha. Maybe ask him again if he is truly ready for a baby.. if he says no not really then just say fine we will stop trying.. and leave it. Obviously u wont, but if he thinks ur serious it shld make him snap his head into line again. Sometimes they just want to do completely the opposite to what u want them to do. Reverse psychology!!!!!!! But yeah i cant believe the lengths u are going too to seduce him.. u go girl!! i know i wldnt have it in me to do it.. im such a prude.. dh begs me to 'dress up' for him all the time.. i just cant!! unless im pretty drunk haha but thats not very often anymore. I hope today isnt too bad.. i hate those days where u have to fake that smile and act like u and dh are so happy.. i think if i were u i wld be dropping little comments in somehow. like if they were to ask u about how the the baby making is going, say something like 'bit hard when dp has no sex drive whatsoever!' ... make him feel silly.. haha well thats just wat i wld do, it cld probly result in an argument tho!
Oh and yes to reproducing all by ourselves.. wldnt that be great!!!
Iona- how are u today??? i really hope the bleeding has settled down and u have no cramps. We are all here for u.. waiting is absolutely the worse isnt it. Good luck babe x
Damprye- Omg.. thats freaky about the murder near ur house, that wlkd absolutely creep me out. Is ur neighbourhood normally quiet?? Hope ur hands ok too.. how did u manage that??
Matthews mum- So the 2ww begins! So so happy for u. Will u be putting a plant or something on top of where u bury ur little embie? I am really sorry if this question is way out of line.. but what does it look like?? i have no idea, But yeah like i said.. u dont have to answer that. Pls keep us posted with all ur symtoms over the next 2 weeks!
Kellbell- This is probably a silly question but what is a chemical pregnancy?? i thought it referred to like falling pg with help from fertility drugs or something..?? i think im wrong tho! Im always learning so much stuff from u guys in here! And we are almost cycle buddies! we can go crazy together in the 2ww!
Possum- Oh SO happy for u!!! Pls make sure u tell us how u go with ur scan. So so exciting! :D
Loops- Thanks for pooping in. Pls continue to keep popping in! :)
Murraycod- Thinking of u and will be on tues too. Good luck xxx
AFM- Af is almost gone.. yay! We got a bd in last nite.. not for any reason except that dh wld not let me go to sleep without doing it. Im like u better be quick or it will be messy!! I hadnt had any bleeding all arvo so i knew it wldnt be.. but it made him go quick which meant i cld relax and go to sleep! haha.. forshelby- imagine if i was with ur man! god we wld NEVER want to bd!!! Funny how opposites attract. Oh and i popped my first clomid pill this morning.. woohoo!! Now lets hope i dont have any random bleeding at O time again!
-
i always took chemical preg to mean you get the hormones of pregnancy but it fizzles out and you get AF a couple of days late. so for whatever reason it dosent go very far. I got a BFP for two days day 11 and day 12 then got neg preg tests. So if i hadn't tested before AF was due i wouldn't have known. but it still meant something to me even if it was very short.
Reet - Yah for cycle buddies only two days behind you - yeah we can go crazy together then hopefully gets BFP's!!!!
forshelby i dont think its too late hope you and DP get it going tonight and the days to come. its hard when they are not in the mood im sure you can do it and catch that egg. When the time comes im sure hell be a great dad. i had the exact same doubts but my DP did get up in the night and he did change nappies and im sure yours will too!!!
Better get my skates on and get off BB and go to work!!!!!
-
From what my doc told me, a chemical pregnancy is when the egg gets fertilised but for whatever reason it is not a viable pregnancy and you gennerally lose it without even realising you were pregnant in the first place. This happens to about half of all pregnancies. The most common belief in the medical community about it is that the DNA strands don't fit together right and so AF comes to take away the "mess" or at least that is what my doc told me on my last visit. AF in these cases are usually earlier or later than we expect them to be but some are still right on time. It is often possible to get a + hpt before the baby is gone and AF arrives.

Matthews mum - Sorry to hear about your 1st embie. I hope the second is snuggling right in, and is a sticky one!
Possum - Hope your scan goes well and you see a little hb. I like to hear updates on your pg, so please don't feel bad for sharing in here.
Reet - *big sigh* There's no point even getting into it with him today if I want a chance of DTD tonight. We had a nice day at the animal sanctuary, so I really don't want to spoil what was a decent day. I think all the walking did me some good, and the animals were nice. Kinda helped me to forget how *****ty I felt this morning. I hope DP doesn't decide he's too tired tonight too... otherwise I think I'm out this month. Also, he's not a fan of bd during the week, since work is pretty hard on him. But geez.... sometimes we're going to have to make an exception if we want to have a baby. I can't just make it so I'm magically fertile at a time that suits him. He needs to work with me a bit here. But, of course I'll be a good woman and say nothing, just hope I haven't missed my chance. Perhaps I'll try to lure him into the shower. LOL.. I don't know, I'm running out of ideas here. Oh and thank god, nobody asked about the babymaking today. Good to hear you're going well.... there's no shortage of sausage at your house! I'm totally jealous. Don't squander that gift, woman!! Get in touch with your inner saucy vixen, lol
AFM, spent the day taking pictures of wildlife instead of spending all day in bed, like we should have. Or at least twenty minutes... lol. Not sure how to even attempt to bd tonight, I'm getting tired of getting shot down. I'm a bit lost what to do right now.
Sorry if I missed anyone, I'm a bit out of it after such a busy weekend.

bons-will dh be back for 'o' time?
-
I really hope so! If not it will be a "try for July" :)
xxx
-
Bons - thanks sweetie! Try for July has a nice sound to it, but I wish you didn't have to .....
Mathew's Mum - oh sweetie, I am sorry about EmbieOne, hoping like anything that EmbieTwo is snuggly and wishing you all the best for your TWW. It's ironic that you mentioned Mathew's and Harvey et al's grave. I am glad that you have a memorial for all your angels. People don't really talk about baby graves much do they or ask about them? DH and I just haven't really gotten ourselves to the point where we can actually let our angels go. We have a special place for them at a memorial garden and yesterday DH and I went to visit the plot - a family garden. Never did expect to need that, to be sure. But I am glad we went, it was nice just being there, and it reminded me why we chose both that place and that type of memorial in the first place and it gave me a sense of peace. It feels like the time to take the next step is getting closer....
Murray - thinking of you for for tomorrow. Hang in there.
Possum - thinking of you for Wednesday.
Ionna - I am so so sad that this pregnancy appears to be slipping away. I keep hoping like crazy for you that it's just a crazy start. My thoughts are with you.
Forshelby - hope you DP gets jiggy with it soon. How frustrating that the times he's not interested are the times you need him to be. Is there something on his mind do you think? Something he is worried about.
Hiya to everyone else - Reet, kellbell - love your o ticker. The lady bugs are just too cute.
All good here! Thanks for asking Bons & Possum.
-
Matthews mum - It's hard to say if he would be nervous about his performance at O time. We've never had a problem in that department before, so I'm thinking he really is just tired. Still no + OPK but I've had some pain today so I think today's the day. I must have missed the surge.
Bons - I like the massage idea.. although it could backfire on me. He might wind up so relaxed he feels more like sleep than sex. LOL... I still might keep that in my 'seductresses arsenal' though. Thanks for the tip!
Dory - LOL @ getting jiggy with it. Now I have that stupid song in my head. I don't think there's anything really weighing on his mind right now, except for work... but that's always there, and is always really strenuous for him.
Iona - is everything okay honey? I'm thinking of you and hoping this is just one of those unexplainable episodes. *hugs*
AFM, We DID manage to get jiggy with it last night, so I'm feeling a bit more hopeful for this month now. I guess once is better than not at all. I haven't had a +OPK at all this month, and although yesterday's was significantly darker than the one before, today's was very faint, and way lighter than yesterday. So I think I missed my surge. Judging by the lower back pain I have and the fact that my cm is quickly drying up. (sorry for TMI) It's more watery at the moment, and I predict tomorrow will be a desert down there. Anyhoo, I managed to lie completely still for a good 20 minutes after bd last night, so I hope that was enough to do the trick. If I have indeed O'ed today like I think I have, then I'm in with as good a chance as any, I suppose. Last time we didn't DTD until O day... so I hope getting in the day before is a winner this month! Maybe if I'm extra seductive I might get one more round in tonight. He seemed to be in a good mood at work today (we work at the same place) so I might be in with a chance. I've planned a nice meaty dinner for him tonight... lol
I'd better get going, I have a webcam date with my mum in a few minutes. Hehe... fun. Hi to anyone I missed, and I'm thinking of you all.
-
Iona: did you have another blood test today ?
forshelby: good to hear you are in with a chance this month

Dory- Gald things are going well for you :)
Bons- I hope DH will be back in time.
Matthew's Mum- I bet that embie is snuggling in nicely :)
Sorry for missing everyone else. Baby dust and sticky vides to you all.
AFM- I still havn't heard about my results yet, getting rather anxious now, I wonder what is taking so long.... Oh I did buy a new thermometer today though, I decided to get a proper BBT one before O time came near :D Hopefully this month will be the one.
-
Whats the diff between a normal one and a BBT thermometer? prob a silly question:redface:
