HAHA quiet is definately not what I would call me. In the video is the quietest I was and only because all of the last of my energy was going into pushing the lil blighter out. Before then I was scareing all the other ladies in labour, you could hear me halfway down the other end of the hossy lol.
It was a very long abour, 45hours active, over 6weeks since my waters had broken.
-
Good evening again lovelies!
Oh Dory it is so lovely to hear from you! I will be on the count down for your 99 days!
Forshelby - I can understand freezing, I have just found out a close family friend has miscarried her baby and I just dont know what to say.....I feel heartbroken for her, but it has also made everything a little raw for me too......
Dampyre - Fingers crossed for your TWW! I hope you caught the egg!
Welcome Minniemouse and Kate!
Alice - Sending you hugs out there in Lurking land! xxx
Murraycod - I hope your u/s goes well! I cant wait to hear how it all goes......as hard as it is to relax, try and enjoy the moment.....they seem to be on fast forward all too often xxx
Mathewsmum - Good luck for your next round.....its getting close now!
Iona - sorry about your BFN, Try for July;)
Possum - How are you Hun?
AFM - AF arrived this morning, wasnt expecting her for a few more days...... I am down spending time with my mum, its nice to be away from home for a week or two.....
xxxx

hi girls,
thanks for such a warm welcome, support and wise words from you all especially dory, i have been reading the list for a while now and you are all so supportive of each other. i am having a really bad day today so i wont stay long and bring you all down but i am reading and wishing you all well
Iona: hopefully you just tested too early, fingers crossed there is some good news for you in the next few days
-
evening everyone,ionamacca-sorry...reet-yes,i need tissues when i watch those shows, but i still watch them...damprye-thanks for sharing your video...forshelby-maybe a 'thinking of you" card, sometimes writing words are easier than saying them...bons-nice to see your name again...alice-they told me they thaw one at a time...loops-good tractor news, sorry about bfn & having to wait for ivf, hope you get lucky naturally..minniemouse-good luck with your to tests, hope tomorrow is brighter for you...jakabella-sorry for your loss, hope your next bfp is here soon...mskara-hope you don't have to wait to long to see specialist...hugs to all..afm-cycle day 16,had another bt today, will get result tomorrow...
-
Loops- Oh i hope the tractor offer comes through for u!! And as much as i hate to say it cos it freaks me out that i wont be pg by then.. but october will come very fast. Its scary how fast time has been going.. funny that when i was pg it was the longest 9 weeks ever! :)
Bons- Will dh be back for 'o' time in a couple weeks??! I hope so! I hope af is nice to u now.. Pls send her to my house.. i miss her!!
Forshelby- U know what.. its harsh.. but i think ur friend deserves for u to ditch her.. honestly i dont believe she is a true friend.. i reckon she wld have been meaning to rub it in ur face by sending that pic thru. A couple of my friends are even terrified to tell me that their friends have fallen pg! It does affect me but at the same time theres no real jealousy cos i dont even really know the chicks.. but so lovely that my friends are still sensitive towards the subject.
Oh and dont think i wld have got a bd in when i oed.. dh has been away for over a week. im so glad i didnt know i was oing! it wld have been a 800k dirt road trip again! haha.
I was on levlen for 8 years.. maybe the amount of time i was on it has to do with my body being all messed up. I never took the sugar pill either, so therefore never really got af.. she only ever came when i forgot to take pill for a couple days. If i cld turn back time i wld defintely let af come every month. But yeah i guess my body just got lazy over the years.. it has to learn how to rlease that egg again! I hope it doesnt take too much longer!
And yep i never really get to watch my tv shows when dh is here.. he loves his car shows too, im not really a tv person anyway.. too busy on bb! haha.
Iona- I agree with dory.. i have a good feeling about this with u.. especially with all ur symptoms. Hopefully it is too early. Love that u were going thru ur bank statements to find when u bought hpts.. i have done a few things like that.. it all becomes a bit psychotic dont u think! :)
Dory- How exciting that u have only 99 days to go! Doesnt sound like much at all! Oh.. i just realised i was meant to be due in sept.. damn it.. thinking about it always hits that raw nerve.
I havent watched marley and me just yet.. i have been wanting too.. but just havent felt up to it. Apparently it is good though to watch sad movies when ur feeling down.. it helps to release all those built up tears. And i am defintely going to watch 99 balloons in the next few days.. my sister is staying here at the moment so dont want to freak her out if i start bawling my eyes out!
Minniemouse- Welcome. sorry to hear about ur family problems.. im not sure what to say in regards to the matter.. except what a couple of the others have said.. it really is ur families problem, and once they realise this it will be a bit of a journey until u can completely forgive and trust them again. I bet it is eating away at ur mum every time she goes to sleep at nite.. no mother wants to let there daughter down like that. Is there any chance that u can give ur brother ur side of the story?? Its always hard for the person stuck in the middle when they only know half of whats going on.. there a lot more likely to back the person up who went to them in the first place. Good luck babe, we are here to support u.. anytime u feel like a whinge etc.. just come 'ere! :) x
Possum- not much chance of having a sneaky bfp.. dh hasnt been here for over a week.. apparently i oed last week! i just cant wait til af shows up.. im actually looking forward to all the cramps and other nasty stuff she brings along!
Damprye- Oh my goodness! i am exactly like forshelby with ur vid.. i have never seen such a detailed birthing video.. i cldnt believe u werent screaming! but like u said u defintely would have been very worn out by then! Thanks for sharing it :) I hope u caught that eggie! and if not u better give ur dh all uve got next month! i think we all will be! I have said it before and im sure this wont be the last time i say it.. but dont u wish we didnt need men to fulfill our baby dreams! imagine if we cld keep the sample in a cup until it was o tiime and inject ourselves with it everyday! hahaha.. so much easier! it wld still be good to have a man on standby for whenever we felt a bit randy tho ;)
Hello to everyone else too.. Murraycod- I hope ur doing well! i occassionally stalk u in another thread. i cant wait til u see ur babies heartbeat in a couple weeks! And where has craftymummy gone??? Missing u in here! how did the appointment go with fertility clinic?? are u on clomid yet?? and matthews mum missing u too! did u end up oing ontime?? I hope the fet goes well. Alice- thinking of u xx Ric- where have u gone?? still lurking or just having a bit of a break? Thopes- hope ur doing ok and recovered from op. Ferrals- always thinking of u xxx Sunbeam.. how are u going?? havent heard from u in a while too. I know i have forgotten a few ppl.. i hope ur ALL doing good tho xxx
AFM- I went to healthfood shop today and stocked up on maca in powder form. I was taking capsules but it was quite expensive and the naturopath said i needed quite a high dose to get body on track. So i am really going to pump that for the next week and pray pray pray that af arrives sooooon!!! xxxx
-
reet-i'm still here,a few of the others have posted in the ltttc after loss thread, hope your new supplies work for you.I think i've o'd ,just waiting on bt result to confirm, then i should get a transfer date...
-
Iona: Sorry for BFN. I'm hoping BFP will still show up by the end of the week
Damprye: Holy cow, that's some labour! I thought i was doing well with about 32 hours start to finish! Forshelby: don't worry, labour is only one day or so in your life and baby is forever. It's a small window in time. And the first part is not so bad and by the time you get to the harder bit you're often a bit out of it which helps. And there are drugs if you want them! Or other strategies that help.
Reet: Bummer about DH being away for 'o' time but maybe it's better you didn't know if you would have had to stress about whether to hike up the dirt track again!
Dory: Beautiful advice you gave Forshelby on options for wishing condolences
BOns: Sorry AF arrived. Hope she leaves soon.
Mathewsmum: hope your egg pops soon. Must be getting close?
MsKara: How are you? Sorry you found out there are some thyroid problems. But hopefully once this is treated your body will be in better shape for your next baby.
AFM: Going to my GP tomorrow. I need to get my thyroid tested (It was overactive during my last pregnancy) and i might ask if i can get HCGs done. My pg symptoms are still pretty mild. I hope it's not a bad sign. Kind of excited though that i'm 5 wks tomorrow: it makes me feel that this is more than just a late AF and that i'm actually pg! I'm still terrified every time i go to the toilet that there is going to be blood. THankful for every day without bleeding. THanks to everyone who asked how i am going.
-
Bons- Good luck with TTC this cycle and hope you enjoy the time with your Mum :)
Minnie- It is ok to let out how you feel, you don't need to protect us from it, we are here to help you through this. We all need the help sometimes. :hugs:
Matthew's Mum- I hope you get some good news from the BTs :)
Reet- *Shout out to AF* "hurry up, your late" LOL. I hope you get that visit soon. I am really glad I managed to get my friend to take that vid, when I went in I let the Ob and midwives know that there was no way they were stopping me and thankfully my Ob was fully supportive of that (Dr Jose, WA) and I will be getting the next one recorded too :) and totally bugger it that we are not able to reproduce asexually lol.
Possum- Hoorah for the 5 week mark :D I am sure that each passing day will make it more real until you are holding that sweet little one in your arms.
AFM- I'm feeling really happy atm. I was looking at my FF Chart willing it to give me answers already and went looking around the rest of the page and found the part that takes you into further ananlysis and it turns out that if my temp does continue to rise tomorrow and Saturday then O day really was yesterday just like I thought it was going on my own normal non BBT signs :D I couldn't be happier right now and am very optomistic. Even if I don't catch this egg it at least confirms to me that I know my body at least most of the time and that works for me just fine.

Hi girls,
Just a quick one as off to get underarms and eyebrows waxed. Started spotting this morn but it's old blood....hmm!!

happy friday

-
Hello everyone,
Just a quickie - it's soo cold up here I can hardly type this morning.
Iona - sorry for the BFP but still got my fingers crossed for you.
Bons - hello lovely! Glad you are back - don't know what I'd do without my computer! Hope you can enjoy some girly time while your DH is away. Mine is going away for a week on Sunday. Don't mind as it's only a week but he's so good at keeping me on track with my diet and making me special bread that I'll be a bit sooky probably. Anyway, can watch all my fav. dvds that he's sick of seeing and spend as long as I like online so won't be too bad. I'm sort of lurking atm - have no fixed date on IVF for now as trying to get my body working before we try to increase our chances so trying to just enjoy things.
KitFaerie - are you lurking? How's everything going?? We miss you x
Dory - 98 days today? :) Sept is just around the corner...
Reet - thanks for asking after me, all going OK here, still have down days but trying to be more zen about it all. Sorry your DD is approaching too. Mine is 30 August and it feels like a stone in my heart atm - hope things are easier once it passes/
I know there was more I was going to type but it's slipped away...damn. Oh yeah - Loops! Great news about the tractor sale (hope that cash comes quickly) and I know it's hard to wait but you don't want to be stressed about money problems so maybe for the best and you can use that time to do other things. All the best.
To the new ladies here - I'm sorry for your losses. I know you'll find lots of support here and hope your TTC journies are short.
Sorry lovelies, that's all I"m up for today. Wishing you all the best,
x
-
possummagic-good luck at gp,be watching for your updates...damprye-good news....ionamacca-has the spotting continued?..alice-enjoy your movie/computer time..how is everyone else?..afm-thought i might get a transfer date today, but instead another bt,nurse said my levels are rising ,slowly.
-
Matthew's mum - nope no more spotting, well not on liner or when i wipe!! Hope your levels rise quickly so that the transfer date can be organised
-
Iona: interesting...very interesting! Still stalking you!
Alice: Hi! I don't like it when DH is away for long but definitely on the upside is control of the TV and dvd selection and unlimited internet access! Enjoy the girl viewing fest!
Damprye: Yeah, feels good when you realise that you know your body as well as any chart doesn't it?!
Mathewsmum: Gosh, these BTs must be testing your patience!
AFM: Saw GP. Had BT done for thyroid, HCG and other pregnancy screen stuff. Results next week. Had my 2yo with me. Hope she doesn't blab on me to anyone about what the visit was for! She's a bit of a talker!
-
Mini - hope you can come through your bad day ok.
Iona - oohhhhh...... I am still optimistic......
Possum - good idea to have your thyroid levels checked and a sneaky HCG whilst you're there! Were you on meds for it last time? ( This will do your head in, but one of my cats has just been diagnosed with hyperthryroidism and vets give cats the same meds that humans get... there is a cat version but much more expensive apparently, I have been using gloves to tablet him as I've read there is some risk to me from the meds. LOL Got DH to tablet the cat today, and his first attempt at it wasn't too bad)
Mathew's Mum - is slowly rising still ok? Except it means another trip to pathology and no firm date.....Is Crafty in the long term TCC thread with ferals? I miss them. Might have to go stalk.
Dampyre - hope those health fod things do the tric.
Alice - 99 days is next week! Still in the 100's at the mo....Somebody pinch me, I never thought I could get this far. But thanks for remembering.
Bons - where does DH work? I was thinking Bamaga or Weipa, but that would be more than 600km right?
Have a good weekend girls... sorry to have missed anyone - it's not intentional.
-
ionamacca-are(when)you going to test again?..possummagic-bt's are frustrating, keeping big picture in mind though, got a phone call earlier this afternoon & have to go for another in the morning...dory-yes to both your ?'s
-
Thanks to all my stalkers!!!
Dory - oh you'll be coming up to the third trimester soon!!
Possum - I know what you mean about our children blabbing, when I had the first scan I had DS with me as it was early on a monday morn so took him with me. he was going on all sunday and on the way to get the u/s that he wanted to see grandma, so we went over there afterwards....after I had tried to calm myself down with disappointment of there not being a heartbeat etc. Next thing he says we were at the drs, mum asked if it was for him or me, for mummy she has a sore belly. Mum just looked at me and I just broke down...kids gotta love them
damprye - yay on ff telling you that you may of 'o'ed, so glad that your body is getting back into the swing of things
Reet - hope the maca works for you
AFM: today has been an up and down day, this morn i was driving to my waxing appt, i just started crying not sure what about!! one thing could be that my bestie left for south africa today for 3 weeks and I'm going to miss her heaps....she's one of my rocks and whenever I'm having a difficult day, she is always there!! and I guess mark left this arvo to go to melb for the weekend so he's not back till tues. Well after I woke from my nap (yes another nanna nap this arvo), there was a lil of pink spotting but only when I wiped...not a lot tho. Just wish AF would put me out of my misery either show up or stop playing games with me!!
-
matthew's mum - just saw ur new post....not sure when i will test again, might wait and see what tomorrow brings me
-
Hi Everyone
Alice - I cant imagine how hard it is to put IVF off indefinetly for the moment.....but im sure you are making the right decision for you and your DH, Part of me loves when DH goes away for those very reasons.....ahhh dvds, playing couch commando, reading sappy novels and unlimited internet the other part of me wants to cry everytime he is packing to go. How nice that your DH makes your bread, its kinda of a nice romantic gesture xxx
Dory - DH is a diesel mechanic in the Navy, so he has always spent time away, but now he is part of a boarding party that is ready to board foreign vessels, that makes me feel a bit uneasy, he does enjoy his job though....I really look forward to your updates, are you still on house arrest?
Mathews Mum - I hope your pathologist collector is nice, Its great that your results are slowly creeping up!
AFM - Had a big day creating garden beds, was nice to achieve something though.
xxx
-
Bons - it must be hard to have him away that often - we spend a fair bit of time apart just for logistical reasons (one of us often stays in Sydney for work) and I have teary moments but would be so much harder for long periods of time. We do lots of gardening (one of the joys of living up here) so understand the satisfaction of creating a garden bed! What are you going to grow in it?
Iona-Macca....a football friend right? My DH starts three weeks leave today! He's a nut - we've had the chart on the fridge for about two months and he has magazines etc. Very amusing! Sorry she is away but hope it goes quick and hope that you have a sneaky BFP lurking there.
Thanks Possum - I'm stalking you in the other thread :)
-
Alice - yep, her boyfriend got her into it....they went to the world cup 4 years ago as well and when she got home, I found out I was pregnant!! So hopefully the same will happen
-
-
I seriously have to quit my job so I can keep up with you ladies!!!! *deep breath*
Dory - Lol@ the dory moment.. and thanks for the encouragement. All those ideas are good, especially the card. I think I might go with that. I'm probably over-analyzing his potential reaction, and am pretty sure he'd just be appreciative. I'm still working up the courage to say something, but I really think I will. Soon. Just waiting for the dust to settle. And Lol @ the bonanza music. Now it's in my head!!
Damprye - The best comebacks always pop into your mind AFTER the opportunity for a snappy comeback have passed. Don't you hate that? I'm always a bit shocked when I hear about teen mums, though I shouldn't be. It's an epidemic, and the attention seeking at its worst. Ugh. I'm still a bit scared about the whole birth process... typical newbie I am. I can just picture the look of pure horror on DP's face. :o 45 hours is a long labour! Argh! I'm really glad you're feeling good today. yay for that.
Bons - I know that raw feeling all too well. It's hard when you understand their pain but can't share with them. I hope you're having a good time with your mama! I haven't seen mine for 2 and a half years now.... I sort of can't bring myself to go back there. Last time I was 'home' I was pg, and I don't want to go back until I am again. Is that crazy?? When I told her we've decided to try again, she just said: 'OH. MY. GOD.' I don't know if that was a good reaction or not... she's hard to read sometimes.
Minnie - Sorry you had a bad day today. What happened? Please feel free to share with us, that's what we're here for. I hope we can be the bright spark to light up a crappy day for you. :D Any new developments with the family? Stay strong.
Matthews mum - Agreed, it's a tough situation. Definitely tougher for him though. I just feel really bad for not reaching out to comfort him when I know I have the experience in this department. Ugh. Glad your levels are rising, and I hope the next bt gives you the result you need! Let us know when you get a date for the FET.
Reet - I still haven't spoken to my 'friend'. I'm just SOOOO disappointed in her. This is someone I've been friends with since the first day of school. She lives in Adelaide now, so we never see eachother (haven't for over 10 years now) but we kept in contact almost every day, and were 'close' so to speak. She hasn't messaged me again or anything, so I'm just getting madder and madder, totally stewing over it. I'm about 99% sure it'll be wasted energy trying to get her to see how inconsiderate she was. So I guess there goes my 20 year friendship. Sad. 8 yrs on levlen is a long time, especially if you weren't having ANY afs! I don't know how you managed it! Anytime I tried to skip even one af, she would barge on in anyway, and leave me with 3 weeks of spotting and cramps. I decided after a few attempts like that to just accept af. I'm also too busy on BB for tv, lol. DP doesn't seem to mind though, he gets to watch what he wants! And I must know... what is maca?? Might be a silly question but I have no idea.
Possum - I think what I'm most afraid of isn't the pain, but the lack of dignity. I feel silly for saying that, but that's just where I'm at right now. I almost don't want DP to see me like that, but can't imagine doing it without him there. I remember when I was in the hospital just before my mc, and I had to have an internal. He looked at me with an 'OH GOD' expression when the nurse said what she needed to do, but I grabbed his hand to stop him from running out of the room. He just sat there with this glazed expression on his face, and I felt so dead inside. I know things were different then, and that he wasn't ready to be a father (that pg was unplanned, he fought me to terminate but I refused).... but those moments are hard to forget. I feel sad now remembering that. :( I'm so excited though that you're coming up to the 5 week mark. I hope this pg goes smoothly for you, and that DD doesn't blab! LOL. Good luck with your bt's next week. :)
Iona - Spotting sounds interesting! So does the random crying episode..... Ohhh hoping for a BFP for you, hun. How did you get through your appointment after the cryfest? I have a bad habit of not being able to stop when I start, lol. I'm totally jealous that you have the opportunity to nap during the day, too. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to go to work, but I just can't bring myself to 'rely' on him yet. Even when I have bubby, I know it'll take some major adjusting and guilty feelings on my part. That place is SOUL DESTROYING some days though, and I can't wait to take maternity leave. It's really just that one horrible woman in my department who makes it so awful. Without her, I would love my job. Anyway, when are you testing again???? I'm all excited!
Alice - Hi, hun. I don't see enough of you around here these days. Hope you're well.
To all those MIA, Craftymummy, Ferrals, Kitfaerie.... we miss you. :) To those who stalk, Murraycod, Dory, Possum... so glad you're sticking around. :D And to anyone else who's lurking but hasn't yet spoken up, please do. I always get excited when there's a new member.
AFM, nothing of interest to report. Had a REALLY rough day today at work, and just wanted to cry. It's hard when we're short staffed, and the other two just don't seem to 'get' how hard it is to be the cashier, and responsible for up to 20 grand in cash. They also like to pretend they don't notice when I'm struggling to get everything done, and sit there checking their personal emails and having a great time wandering around socializing after they've finished their own work. :shakehead: Last time I go to their rescue when they're under pressure. Ughhhh.... It was hard to keep my cool. But I got through it, and am just about to have a few glasses of wine to unwind. (Just for you Murraycod... hehe!) The start of the month is going really slowly for me. Come on O!

hi girls,
im going to try and do a post with personals !
Alice: i have been following your journey, good for you to be able to wait a few months before trying again to get things right, from my experience a m/c doesnt just upset one cycle but it can often be months before things get back to normal, hopefully in a few months everything will a line perfectly for you and you will get a really sticky BFP
Iona: still have everything crossed for you
Damprye: i watched your video too, as i was watching i was thinking what a cheeky monkey you had there coming out posterior and making things difficult for you !
for the girls that are worried about labour i agree with the point that is only one day, i was induced and had an epidural with my first and arrived at the hospital just before my 2nd arrived ! (im also a midwife as i know a few girls here are)
forshelby: im sorry to hear you have fallen out with your friend, it sounds a bit like what is happening with my family, its an awful feeling, yesterday was such a terrible day for me, i spent the whole day crying because it was the 1st anniversary of my old aunts death (she was like a grandmother to me) and it hurt so much knowing the rest of my "family" would have been spending the day together and it seems no one cares about me, i just cannot understand my family treating me like this, i am so hurt by them and i feel like you do with your friend that our relationship may be over, its so unbelievable to say that, to fall out over this when i did nothing wrong and yet im being treated like im in the wrong. when i first told my mum i was pregnant with my third child (which turned into my first m/c) she was horrified, said it wasn't good news so she has hurt me a lot this last 6 months, sorry i could go on and on about it !
matthews mum: i hope tomorrows blood test shows your levels are good, are you going through newcastle ivf (hope you dont mind me asking that)
dory: how are you feeling about things ? you are such a good support to everyone on here
ok girls i cant go back any further on the page so sorry for those i missed
-
morning girls
i've been awake since 4am!!! I'm going to be soo tired today but I tested again this morn and it was a BFN, thinking I may go buy a chemist bought HPT and see how that goes tomorrow/ I did take my temp this morn and adjusted it and it has increased since thursday, didn't do it yesterday and have only started to temp since thursday hehehe
Felt queasy this morn and hungry!!
forshelby - oh sweety, i remember when I was working in a small accounting firm (staff of 3-4) and I knew the office like the back of my hand, clients phone numbers etc....it wasn't until one day I got sick of people not getting off their asses and getting files/phone numbers themselves/knowing the clients they would call out to me or I'll put a phone call thru to someone and they'll be like who is that what do they do why are they ringing, so I started getting short with them all. My boss pulled me up for it....my reply was well if people got off their butts and got things themselves I probably wouldn't be in this mood...his reply was yes i hear they always calling Iona this, Iona that but that's not the way to be!! urgh didn't take me long to decide it was time to move on
Well girls I will update you once my body decides to co-operate with me
Have a good saturday
xoxox
-
Minnie - I'm so sorry you spent the day mourning by yourself. Life is unfair. I can't believe your own mother had such a self-centred reaction to your pregnancy announcement...... I'm disgusted. I just don't know what to say. Who even says that? It's okay for her to be concerned for whatever reasons, but to say it's not good news, and totally ruin your joy is just sickening. This may or may not help, but here's what I would do. Confront my mother, tell her HOW DARE SHE be so self centred. HOW DARE SHE tell me how many children is right for me, and HOW DARE SHE not support me after 3 losses, when I need her most. But that's just me. Call me a firecracker, lol.. but I just don't think you should take this lying down. Your family need to know how unacceptable their behaviour is and how damaging it is to your relationship with them. When something like this happens, and one party hurts another, that's when things get really tricky. Communication breaks down, and once that happens.... well it's very difficult to get things back on track. I say open up the lines again, but stand your ground. Explain how hurtful they've been, and how abandoned you feel. I'd also like to hazard a guess that your mum has never experienced a pregnancy loss. I was 'lucky' I suppose, in that my Aunty suffered a miscarriage, and although we aren't close, had some very wise words for me. She told me that although it was early (almost 8 weeks) that I lost a little person, and I need to grieve for him/her. It helped to know someone understood, and although we aren't all there beside you, I hope you realise how much we all care. WE understand, even if your family doesn't. You aren't alone. :heartbeat:
Iona - wow, another accountant! I could have written that myself. Except that I'm one of the newer additions, only been in that dept for 2 years. I find it really surprising that one of the other ladies, despite being there for a year longer than me, doesn't have to answer the phone because she's 'uncomfortable' with it. WTF? I'll be drowning in work, struggling to answer my own calls, and someone elses phone is ringing while they're off god knows where, and she just sits there ignoring it! I love her to bits, she's a lovely lady... but COME ON!!!! It does my head in that this kind of stuff is ok with the boss. I told him one day that I was struggling, and resented having to answer other peoples phones while they made cup of tea after cup of tea, and he told me 'I'd like the phone answered where possible'. I asked him what voicemail was even for then, and he just told me again that he expected me to do it. I don't get it. They seem to hold me to a higher standard for some reason. It seems everyone else gets to pick and choose what they want to do. My workload is ridiculous... Drives me crazy sometimes. But you know what? I WILL NOT QUIT. I refuse to leave a job I know inside and out, because of poor management and some crappy rules. I'm good at what I do, and I love working for the same company as my partner. Plus I have some great friends in my old department, and still enjoy seeing them daily. So I guess I'll just keep on truckin! lol
So sorry to hear about your BFN this morning. When I saw the time of your post I was sure it was BFP. :( I thought.. who the heck is up at that time of morning? LOL, sorry. What cd are you on at the moment?? I won't give up hope until you're riding the crimson wave.
Reet - has af turned up yet?? I told her to go straight to your house when she left mine. Maybe she's stuck in traffic? lol... I hope things start sorting themselves out for you soon, all the waiting and hoping your body will get its act together must be agonizing.
AFM, nothing exciting happening at all. I sent my friend a text last night explaining how shocked I was at the way she would send me a picture of a newborn with NO warning etc... and got no response. So that's it. I'm done. I don't need friends like that. She lacks empathy, and clearly thinks there's nothing wrong with what she did. I've decided not to bother with her anymore. I've really just had enough of insensitive people, and am really blown away that she could be mad at ME for not jumping up and down with excitement for her teenage sister's latest dole-baby. I got a similar reaction when I told her we are finally TTC. She pretty much ignored it, and doesn't even mention it or ask how I'm doing. Apparently if you aren't a teenager living at home with your mummy, with no job, and haven't bothered to learn how to drive or buy a car..... she doesn't want to know about your plans for kids! LOL... some people are so backwards. At least we're two adults in a loving comitted relationship, not a couple of kids playing house. Ok that's it, I'm wiping her from my memory bank as of now.
I hope everyone is well, and having a lovely Saturday morning. Oh, and anyone in QLD YAAAAAY for the long weekend. :)

forshelby - don't worry I was wondering what the hell I was doing up at that time to....yeh not quite a qualified accountant that's what I'm doing at uni, figured even though I know how to do all the work I'm better off getting the piece of paper that will give me more $$ and at the same time have my children so then I can go straight into the workforce and my employer won't have to worry about me taking time off for children etc (well for the newborn years etc)
well girls....after I took my DS to swimming we went to the shopping centre to have lunch and needed to pick up a few things, so decided to get some HPT - got the 3 pack of first response....rather have more than one jic. well of course when I just got home the tests were calling.....and this is what I got
it's very faint but i couldn't even pee on it for 3 secs so for a dribble attempt that is pretty good I think!!!
-
Iona: whhhhooo you have yourself a :bfp: there ! :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl: :happyforyou:
first response are my favourite brand test, will you do another one tomorrow to see it getting darker ? congrats
-
thanks minnie, surely will be testing again....just a lil worried as this is how my pregnancy started in jan with the spotting which lead to a m/c a few weeks later....so will be giving this lil bean a talking to for the next few weeks
-
OMG congratulations Iona sending out lots of sicky vibes and just OMG :D
-
ionamacca-congratulations,fmu should show a much darker line...alice-how are those cold & flu symptoms...minniemouse-yes,sydney ivf, newcastle, but i've been able to get bt's closer to home.Hugs for your aunt's anniversary...thinking of everyone..afm-waiting to hear from clinic about todays blood result,my veins this morning went on strike though, tried arm, hand, went back to arm & was successful 3rd go
-
Iona, for a dribble attempt in the afternoon, that's freaking awesome!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS WOOHOOOOOO
Honey, so so happy for you!!!! I totally understand the nervouse times ahead, rest up and teke it easy, can't wait to see tomorrow's FMU result!!!!!!
-
Iona- OH MY GOD!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! Like murraycod said i cant wait to see mornings result!!! Am so so so happy for u!!!! :)
Matthews mum- It will be nice just to finally get the date.. u must be feeling a bit drained of blood at the moment! i hope ur eating a lot of juicy red meat! u must be very sick of being jabbed! :)
Possum- Dont u hate having to wait over the weekend for blood test results. When i went for a gyno appointment on a friday and then had to get a blood test done that arvo i asked the receptionist to write on it urgent and i had the results within a couple hrs!! haha.. it wasnt even that important knowing the results.. it was only for a progesterone test to see why af wasnt coming.. i just cant handle waiting!! Hope ur hcg levels are exactly where they shld be. Dont stress too much about not feeling any different just yet.. there are so many ppl that dont get any of the normal symptoms.. when i was pg i was stressing the same.. and it was really suprising how many ppl said they got nothing or it came a bit later at 8 weeks.. Good luck! x
Damprye- Yay that u know ur body! I wish i did! Hope u caught that eggy and the 2ww goes quickly for u :)
Forshelby- i think u have done the right thing with ur friend.. u know whats really annoying when its rubbed in ur face that 'dolebludging' teenagers can have babies so easily.. and us 'nice normal' ppl find it difficult.. its so frustrating. Maca is a natural powder substance.. i think its a root.. its meant to help regulate ur body.. like if its lacking 1 hormone it will boost it up.. and it helps to give u normal 28 day cycles.. hhmmm cant really give u much more info!! i just take it cos i dont know what else to do with my messed up body! plus a few of the ladies on here have said they owe maca for there pregnancies.. so worth a try! :)
Dory- I think u had a 'dory moment' when asking bons if her dh worked up weipa way.. did u mean to ask me?? :) cos my dh was working 2 hrs south of weipa for the last 5 weeks. He works on satellite communication towers so he travels around everywhere! how have u heard of weipa??
Hello to everyone else too!!!!! xxx
AFM: Well dh got back last nite.. so i have been keeping pretty busy :) i think af is finally on her way! yay! well i have had tiny bit of pink when wiping.. oh i so hope shes here by the morning. FX.
I am starting to feel like im going to be the last one left in here... i wonder if when i fill up 20 pages writing to myself whether admin will even add a new thread...??? haha sorry im just moping.. feeling a bit sorry for myself.. :) all good tho... as long as af arrives sooon so i can get this ball rolling!!!
Congratulations again iona xxxxxxxxxxxx

:clap::o:D Iona, that's fantastic! It must be the World cup! I'm into 'omens' myself. The first time i got pg i found out in Qld on holiday. The second time i was also in Qld on holiday and using the same brand of pg test! But this time only the pg test is the same-it's still my lucky test!-but no Qld holiday! Oh well :) Can't wait to see the next picture.
Dory: Giving the cat meds sounds like a tricky operation. It'd be great if your DH can do it! My thyroid problem last time was discovered just before i miscarried (and 5wks after i started feeling really unwell). The dr prescribed me meds and i took them for about two days but i insisted on another blood test because i felt better as soon as i'd had my first d & C. My thyroid was normal again. So it was somehow pregnancy related i think but i need to have it checked to see it doesn't recur.
Forshelby: Aaahh, dignity. I think it gets left at the door when you go into labour! You'll be so preoccupied with what's happening to your body that you won't think about it! And my DH nervously backed away in a big hurry when any internal exams were happening during my pregnancy but he was there the whole time for me during labour. (Not that he found it easy but that had nothing to do with indignity...just didn't like seeing me in pain. But he was fantastic and i couldn't have done it without him. My best friend was my other support person).
Mathewsmum: thinking of you. So hope you get the 'right' BT result soon. Your poor veins!
Reet: Hope AF has arrived. Don't worry, you won't be left here all alone (i was scared of that too but it doesn't seem to happen).
AFM: Gp marked my blood tests 'urgent' in case anything interesting shows up but she's only going to call/write to me if there's a problem! Unless i make a time to see her i won't get the results until i make a time to see my obstetrician (planning to go in about 10 days). GP said the clinic won't give out BT results over the phone. Grrr!

Well girls, did another test this morn...is a lil darker but not much
sorry the photo isn't that great
This morn feeling quite queasy and my bb's are so tingly and sore
Possum - my dr always marks my bt's as urgent and then rings me at the end of his shift, one thing I love about my dr and he takes his time with you....he is always running behind which I don't mind half the time, gives me a chance to have some me time lol
Reet - glad to hear that AF is around the corner...pity about the timing of DH coing home....always the way tho
matthew's mum - oh all those blood tests you must be feeling like a pin cushion...if it was me they prob would have heaps of trouble I have such small veins that there has been only one nurse that has always got it first go
forshelby - oh sweety, i wish i could give you some real hugs...sometimes some friends aren't worth being in your life especially if they are going to act like that
have a lovely sunday girls
xoxox

Just a quicky from me today so I am only doing persies from this page.
Forshelby- I hope things get better for you soon.
Matthew's Mum- Those veins can be tricky things at times.
Reet- Congrats on AF finally starting to show her face (so to speak).
Possum- Wouldn't it be great if they called to let you know if everything was alright too?
Iona- Congrats on the darkening line. Maybe you should take the last test in about 2-3days just so you can put up an awesome pic of nice dark lines?
To everyone else, I have read your posts and am thinking of you all.
AFM- I think I will just lurk for a little bit, I'm just not feeling up to it atm. I am pretty sure I have managed to come down with a bug. Last night for (I am pretty sure) the first time ever I passed out for about ten minutes. I decided it was time for bed after that. Somehow I managed to sleep a whole 12hours and have woken up shakey, nauceas, have a killer headache and really crampy. Has anyone else had anything like this before? I think I should go lay down again now but I will be back later on.
-
Iona!!! OMG!!! Congratulations! You got a baby in that belly babe! Well done sweetness! Come on people, keep it coming!!
-
Congratulations Iona!!!:dance::D That's WONDERFUL news!! It can only get darker! Looking forward to hearing how things go for you - stay in touch and all the best for a happy and healthy pg! Woot!!!
Damprye - you sound soo sick, you poor thing. Could it be a nasty flu? Rest up and drink lots of fluids - keep warm and get well soon
MatthewsMum - I spent two days rugged up and having soup and feel fine today - yah! I'm also taking Immunocare from Metagenics which helps fight off bugs and it really seems to work. Whenever I feel myself coming down with something I take two in the morning and one at lunch and it just seems to go. Been resting too. Hope you get your date soon - your poor arms! No wonder they went into hiding - too much poking!!
Reet - don't worry, we all feel like we'll be the last one in here, hope you're feeling brighter soon.
Minnie - I'm sorry you had such a sad and lonely day of your Great Aunt's anniversary. It must be terribly hard for you. big hugs to you.
Hi Foreshelby - I'm sort of lurking but following along with everyone and wishing for more news like Ionas!!
Iona - yah again!!
x
