Morning Ladies
Well seems its been a bad week for some with emotions I mean and me too ! I guess its the roller coaster ride we are all on its so easy to pretend we are getting over losing a baby but when it comes down to it we only fool ourselves ! greif has to come out and the longing to fill our empty wombs will not go until they are full again ! life is hard at times but we have to get into a positive frame of mind and strive to get what we want however long or whatever we have to do to get it !
Thanks to all who asked about me. I am ok I guess still no answers really no AF and no sign of O so I wait and wait, Went and got myself some VITEX on Thurs so have been taking that and the women in the Herbal shop said it should sort me out with my cycles she said I just need a kick start so :crossfingers: it does it sooner rather than later. Just feel so cheated all this 7 weeks trying and trying and a waste of time ! I guess I have to face the posibility that my days are over ! but not without a FIGHT FIRST !
spfairy I had really bad pains for around 36 to 48 hrs I mean really bad taking voltarol/Naproxen or whatever you call it over here as well as Paracetamol. I found a hot water bottle or gel pack really helped ease the pain. Then it began to ease into a normal AF type cramp but all in all was about a week to 10 days before I was pain free. My emotions were really bad one minute up and the next down so thats just your hormones IM afraid getting back to normal  not too much longer I promise !
Ferrals4 and mummy of 4 your strength is amazing and will get you through this time in your life and you will look back on it in years to come and wonder how you did it with your little one running around smiling and realize life sucks at times but it does give rewards to those who wait and beleive !
Everyone else hope your ok and keeping positive those who have a TWW the days are passing by lets get some BFPs in here !
Well thats about all sorry if its a bit too much me me me but friday was a really bad day for me and seeing that women at school every day is really hard for me !
Have a good weekend and :pink-babydust::bluedust::pink-babydust::bluedust: TO ALL THAT NEED IT !

She just had a boy she was induced at 7am so it went pretty quick it is her third boy Hunter james anyway i feel fine about it i wont go and see her for a while i will get there when i am ready.
Not sure about D&C pain afterward's i had a termination at 7 week's a looooooooooooong time ago when i was young and the pain after that was like period cramps if you dont feel right go to the hospital for peace of mind.
-
thanks craftymummy9 and hopefully the vitex will give you the kick start it needs. i think that brown discharge you had at around 4 weeks post d&c was your period. so you should be due another one in the next week or so. are you sure you have not secretly o?
ferrals well at least now you can prepare yourself to go and see your friends bub. i know it's hard, the week i went back to work so many people bought their babies in that were on mat leave. i thought i was in a creche. you will get there.
just off to see my friend who is also on mat leave... see how i go

Hi everyone,Ric,Murraycod,Bookworm & anyone else in the tww, hope your finding something to occupy your mind for at least some of the time...Scarypinkfairy-hope your bleeding has stopped & antibiotics are kicking in.Your job must be emotional at the best of times, thank you for doing it though as it helps give people answers sometimes...Mummy of4-hope you get some answers & that it gives you some comfort,at the time of my loss i didn;t have testing done & now i think maybe if i did it might of brought some comfort as i still have overwhelming thoughts of guilt...Craftymummy-Yeh we'll put up a good fight 'best things in life are worth fighting for'.Sorry about the Mum at school,it's hard when we just can't avoid things or people.Last time i was pregnant another Mum from kindy gym was too we were a couple of weeks apart so our pregnancies became a big part of talk, when i lost mine i couldn't go back,my husband took ds4 for the last part of the year.

Hi ferrals4
Yep I googled it and googled it and it looked so good I just had to give it a try, and when I went into the herbal shop and told her I had MC 7wks ago and had no real AF and was 44 she said to go for it and warned me I may get twins ! well that would be a bonus but I just want the one thanks ! anyhow thanks to your help I am on my 3rd day of vitex and she told me pronatal was a good alternative to the natures own pre conception support vitamins I was on so IM on them as well. I am taking the tablets as she didn't have the liquid and I was too impatient to go elseware ! WARNING :tmi: GOT A SHOCK THE NEXT DAY MY PEE IS BRIGHT GREEN LOOKS LIKE TOXIC LIQUID !
anyhow if this vitex works for me is it safe for me to take it when I conceive as in before I get a BFP ? just that its confusing on the net , infact the net can be quite upsetting as I was on a forum about vitex a women was 39 and asking about using it to aid her fertility and the reply was ( women of that age should not expect to be getting pregnant at all, if they need help its natures way of saying your too old ! ) Well you can imagine I am 44 and have had 2 kids in my 40s already so it upset me a bit, guess what I am trying to say is the NET is not always good for us !
Anyhow thanks again for your advice, and as for your freind who just gave birth is that the one that tried for 18mnths ? if so she really did deserve to get a good outcome didn,t she and you will soon !
-
Hi matthews mum
we must have posted together ! Thanks for the support its what keeps us all going and no matter what anyone tells us we are going to get what we want !
Guess you are on the TWW soon, know idea when I will be maybe I will just get a big suprise without the wait !
keep well and keep trying !

Craftmummy-it is fine to take until you get your BFP and yes my friend who had the baby today was put on it by her naturopath after 18 mths of trying for her 3rd baby and she took it until 6 weeks as she was having some spotting so they told her to stay on it a bit longer.

Ferrals that was lovely advice you posted earlier about the 'Angel' topic. I really do agree with you. And it wouldn't be fair for my Darling Angel X

HI guys
sorry this is going to be a relativly selfish post
i got my re****s today... i have to say if anything it has made it all so much harder. There was nothing wirng with me, there was nothing wrong with Kyarna, there was nothing wrong with my placenta... THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG... i am so angry and hurt and sad.
the report did however point out how traumatic her birth was and she had a few things happend to her little body after her death because of her birth. quick story, my cervix closed halfway through labour and Kyarna was stuck half in and half out. Her little arm had come away from her body due to this. I am so angry because i knew i saw it and the midwife lied to me. she may have been doing what she thought was best but i knew what i saw and i asked her about 6 or 7 times and she lied to me EVERY time... i thought i was going crazy, that i was seeing things and it was just her lieing to me..
so yeah thanks for all who gave me your wishes, but they didnt help this time.. i just really cant understand why my perfect little girl had to die, when i did everything right... i know logicaly that it wasnt my fault but i just cant help thinking maybe i could have done it different..
-
oh mummyof4 that is not the news you were expecting. but maybe there was some genetic fault that they could not pick up. usually only chromosomes are done, and this does not find genetic defects only large structural rearrangements or trisomies, that kind of thing. and some parts of a placenta can be normal and other parts abnormal, so it depends which part of the placenta the sample was taken (confined placental mosaicism). don't mean to bore you but just because these tests came back normal there may have been a real reason, just might need a lot of investigating to find the reason.
i am sure there was nothing you could have done differently. and the midwife should not have lied to you. you know what you saw, and she should have told the truth. babies that small are very fragile and it was unfortunate that this happened and must have been very traumatic experience for you. i can only hope you are doing ok
murraycod that injection sounds awful, hope it does the trick. you really are a brave lady!!!
-
:hug:Mummyof4, have Pm'd you X
-
mummyof4.... sorry to hear your news. The midwife should've been truthful but she was probably trying to make the situation easier for you... but still shouldn't have done it. I hope you are ok.....
Scarypinkfiary.... I had quite a bit of pain on what felt like the surface of my tummy (everything felt normal internally). I couldnt touch or bump into things as it would be very uncomfortable. It did go away but not for nearly 2 weeks. But I did have the whole wax and polish (3 holes in my stomach area). I'm not sure what a D&C entails. Sorry if I didnt help... all new to the lingo on here.
Hope everyone is doing well this weekend.

Hello All! I just got back from my holidays last night and thought I would pop on to say hi. There are soooo many posts though to catch up on, I just skimmed through them a little, I still need to go back and read through them properly.
Well I had a great time on my trip but I am really happy to be home, especially since I am supposed to ovulate in the next few days and I didn't want to miss it. I was so positive this was my month but sadly AF arrived while I was away. It was the strangest cycle I've ever had though. I had 5 days of barely there spotting, then a day of nothing and then just as i was getting really excited AF showed up 2 days late. She was pretty good though, not as heavy as normal and left after only 3 days (5 is normal for me).
I've been really sick the last few days (nausea and extreme fatigue) so my sister thought I might be PG after all, but I'm pretty sure it was just a stomach bug as M/S would not have set in so quickly, and I did have a period. Thankfully I'm feeling much better today as we have to stat BD tonight. There is still a week left in October and I still have good feelings about his month.
During my quick scan of posts I read someone has started taking Vitex. I have very mixed feelings about Vitex. When I was trying for DS I took Vitex and Dong Quai during my 7th month of TTC and fell PG that cycle. I was sure that they were the reason I got PG. I did have a lot of issues with bleeding during my pregnancy and got put on bed rest a few times for "threatening M/C" though thankfully DS made it through all right.
When we were TTC for #2 I was still nursing so I could not take either drug. During our 7th month of TTC for #2 I weaned my son and started on Vitex and Dong Quai again and sure enough I got PG that cycle. Again I had issues with bleeding, though sadly that PG ended in M/C.
I decided again this last cycle to try again with the two meds but this time it didn't work for me. I did some reading online into both meds and there is a lot of mixed info out there. Some sites talk about them increasing fertility and others talk about them increasing your risk of M/C or even using DQ to end pregnancies. So I decide to try without this month. I can't decide if I should try them again if this month doesn't work out. The sites that said they were a M/C risk scared me.
Maybe it was just the 7 month mark that was lucky for me, but I really hope I don't have to wait that long!! The funny thing is that DH and I started TTC#2 back in January in the hopes of having an October baby (I've always love the idea of Halloween themed Birthday parties since Halloween is my favourite day of the year) and now January is only 2 more months away. Maybe I'm meant to get PG in January?
Sorry about that, I kind of rambled on and on and on.
-
Morning all,Mummyof4-Sorry the results didn't give you any answers to why this happened to you & your family,it's all horrible unfair, hugs.
-
Mummyof4 I am so sorry that the results didn't provide any information on what happened to Kyarna and the midwife no telling you the truth.
Twin Sister I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I too fell pregnant the cycle after I weaned my DD. I think the BF must have been hibiting something as then I fell pregnant the third cycle after my m/c with the ectopic when it took me 9months to concieve the first m/c.
Nothing to report. I am on O day today but can't act on it. Hopefully next month we will be back in action or about to see the FS about IVF. Ill know either way in 25days and counting.
-
