Good Morning All,
Well I am home from my DR appointment and some good news first....Iron levels good, cholestrol low, sugar low, kidney function good, liver function good, thyroid no problems there, all come back good except 1 thing......:crying: NO OVULATION detected. :wall: Ok so DR told me I may have O'd early and that's why the BT never picked it up, I let her know that my BBs have been sore for the last 2 days and she asked if I usually get sore BBs when AF is due and I told her that I get tender nipples but never sore BBs and they are sore I can't even sleep on them of a night time the last 2 nights as it hurts. She told me that if AF arrives this Tuesday/Wednesday I am to go back and see her straight away as she will give me a referral to go see a gyno asap and I will be given Clomid to take but if AF arrives Thurday/Friday I have to wait until my next cycle and we will do another BT then as we may have missed my O this month if I O'd later than CD19. But she also told me my BBs may be a good sign of not needing Clomid and I may be UTD. She told me to wait until at least Friday next week before I POAS if AF is late. I am making DF his appointment to have his swimmers checked Monday week when we go over to my parents place so I have a baby sitter for the day for my DD.

Clairesmummy...im glad some things were good news.....and maybe very shortly you will have you're answer at least.....how are you feeling about the whole thing?????

Not sure how I'm feeling at the moment Melster, a little dissapointed I guess due to the No Ovulation. It will take awhile for everything to sink in to my head properly. Haven't thought to much about it just yet just keep brushing it aside at the moment. Have no idea what's going to happen at the Gyno when I go to them and have no idea what happens with Clomid or even how well it works. Would love to hear some peoples stories on here. Like what happens when you don't O but I still have regular AF every month and I do get O pains but obviously no O. DR told me when they put me on Clomid I start taking it at CD5 but that's all she told me about it and that it will make me O, but does it really work? I have no idea at all.

Clairesmummy: that is mostly good news, what cycle day did you have the blood test done ? maybe it was too early to pick up if you ovulated late in the cycle. i have had clomid, different drs tell you to take it on different days but its somewhere around day 5 of the cycle and you take a tablet a day for 5 days (ie cycle days 5-9) then you should ovulate 6-12 days later (so you bd every 2nd day from about day 10). i have fallen pregnant each time i have used it (my two children), hope this helps

Thanks Minni- Good to hear it works I'm so worried about spending lots of money on things that may not even work, I don't want to get caught up in spending hundreds and thousands of $ and still have no bub, IYKWIM. DR took my BT on CD19 I did have a +ive OPK at CD12 so I thought I would have O'd at the latest at CD14 but obviously not. So if you don't mind me asking what will my OB/GYN do will they do more tests and do they do any testing while your taking Clomid to make sure the drug is working? Thank you so much for your advice darl it has given me a glimmer of hope.

Clairesmummy - Clomid could be the answer for you, hun. Your condition (if you are in fact not ovulating) is treatable. :) I hope you can at least relax a little bit having some answers.

Clairesmummy...i feel for you!!!!!! i wish i could make things a little better for you...maybe just try and think that at least now everything is on the roll and you will finally know whats wrong and be able to fix it and get you much awaited BFP....sorry i dont know alot about clomid..maybe try the girls in the long TTC group...im sure they would know...

I have heard that if you dont o you can still get you're period is that right?....so how does that work then?????????

atm..................I have needed to piddle all day today and before my breaks are due...whats with that....i normally get that when im pregnant! im going to OPK test late arvo and see what happens there...if not and im not pregnant this month i might give it a break next month because its just stressing me out

cycle day 19 might be a bit early if you didnt ovulate til day 14 or so, the standard is day 21 (ie a week after ovulation), a cycle of clomid is about $35 for the medication (thats what i paid this week anyway), some drs will do a scan to see how your ovaries are responding but i don't know how common that is (i have never had any testing done, just the tablets then a day 21ish blood test to check for ovulation), if you dont ovulate on whatever dose that start you on they can increase it to see if that helps so don't give up, some people have bad side effects with clomid (depressed, hot flushes, mood swings etc), i suffer from thrush with it but i tend to be prone to that anyway

Melster - Sometimes frequent urination can happen due to water retention. Though that shouldn't kick in until just before af is due? Perhaps you've been extra thirsty.....? Confusing!

DR did my BT at CD19 as she said it's more accurate if you take blood 7 days before AF is due and I usually only have a 26 day cycle hence why she took them then but last month I had a 25day cycle. AF should be here no later than Wednesday for me. So when she arrives at least I have an action plan now which does feel good but not looking forward to more testing I hate feeling like a used up old pin cushion.....lol.....Don't get me wrong ladies I am happy, at least I have some answers now as to why I'm not getting my BFP and now I just hope that Clomid will help me. It does feel good to know what the problem is but also a little dissapointing as well as it just feels like my body has let me down a little. I'm in no way at all depressed about my situation just means I have to work a little harder at what we want is all.

My results this morning from my follicule scan were really good, I have about 12 really good sized follies in there and will most probably have egg collection Monday or Tuesday.
Hoping for as many as poss so that I can maybe transfer two and have a few to freeze. That would be the ideal anyway. Thanks for all your support and wishes, means a lot xoxo

Minniemouse ~ thanks heaps. I find the needles not too bad - its all the other crap that sucks like nasal spray. The one needle only would be great though. Although hoping I dont need to go there - hoping this time is my last.

Clairesmummy ~ LOL, I thinks its easier doing the needles myself than getting DH to do them. I think its harder to give cows and horses needles - hate doing that.

Im sorry you've had to go through all that stress lately. I have a few friends that have been on clomid and it has worked and contributed to them getting pregnant. And Im pleased for you that everything else was clear. I know how hard it is though to feel like you've already been waiting ages for a child and it is being prolonged even further - big hugs. One step at a time and good luck with the ovulating hun!

Atm.....well i have another negative digi test this arvo but there is still a line there.....wondering whether with all the alcohol i drank on the wine tour would have effected my test (as they say not to drink much liquid before taking the test...............) and maybe from not testing twice a day, hopefully i have just missed seeing it on the opk and i have still o'd...im praying anyways..........or maybe im not o'ing and maybe thats why i am not falling pregnant and last cycle the opks were showing positive for most of the time.......i just wish i new either way...

A couple days ago i did have period type pain, and i have had a little cm with some watery stuff.....and my cervix is a little high now.......so i am just praying that it is...see what everything is like tomorrow...come on o!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im getting real stressed with this bdancing thing and o'ing thing....i never thought or new it could be this hard.....

Clairesmummy- yay for some good results, and I know of a couple of girls who had great results with clomid.
Melster - trust your body and keep up the bding, I would ditch the opk's if they are not working as sometimes they are more stressful than they are worth.

Thanks Joeve and minniemouse :) - yep we may have two transferred this time if they make it to the right quality - play it by ear a little bit. We didnt get enough to do two last time as only one made it to the right quality. Although this cycle is a bit different - its an antagonist cycle - to try and get better quality embryos so FX'd they are :) xoxo

Loops- Not sure you will convince me about giving needles to myself.....lol....hopefully I will never have to find out........lol.....I am a huge sook when it comes to that type of stuff and alot of other things as well........Thank you so much for the hugs darl I really appreciate them and woohoo for the great scan results darl, I have no idea what so ever about IVF darl but you made it sound good so I will give you a big WOO HOO. After reading all the positive stories on here about Clomid I am feeling alot better and more positive that we are NOW finally after over 2 years of TTC we may be on the right track and hopefully get our long awaited BFP one day soon. Melster- I think OPKs are just another way for us to waste our money as well darl, after all I have been getting positive OPKs and NO Ovulation...and now when I look back on all my charts and see what is going on I would say I have only O'd once since my MC and that was when I got my BFP that turned into a BFN a week later. I think you would be better off taking notice of your body and what it is telling you and maybe even asking for a BT from your DR darl. Keep up DTD darl is the best thing you can do I would say and FX you get your BFP this month.
AFM- Hope everyone is having a great start to thier week end, it's started out very wet here but ah well good excuse to curl up and watch telly I say....lol.....I get my house back to it's quiet self tomoro.....woohoo for that only the 3 of us again and no screaming fighting back chatting boys to listen to.........Yeeeehhhhhaaaaaa......I'm feeling alot better today within myself knowing that at least I am heading towards our goal now and not living in no mans land and not knowing why I'm not getting my BFP. I have my FX tightly AF arrives on time or even earlier so I can get into see the gyno and get things moving in the right direction for us, here's hoping anyhow. Making DFs appointment this week for his SA to be done on his next Monday he has off which will be the 18th of this month. I'm hoping his swimmers are good and strong. Can anybody tell me how long it takes to get the SA results back? I would assume they would test them straight away but do they give you the results the same day or do you have to wait for the DR to give them to us????

I go through stages with the IVF stuff though sometimes I think im strong and positive and others not so much. But I guess we do what we have to - can't give up on our ultimate dream <3

Hi ladies, my d& c was two days ago now and I am not bleeding anymore.

I was wondering how long you waited before DTD after d&c? The drs said they would have my pathology results in a week and I have an appointment next week but I have heard a lot of people try straight away and if so when would you expect to ovulate after a d&c?

mum2Romone: i think from memory i was told to wait 1- 2 wks after d & c before BDing again (in case of infection i think). You're not likely to 'O' before then anyway i think. Did you get any written info from the hospital where you had the d & c?

Clairesmummy: Hope you get no AF and instead BFP this week but if not, then at least you have a series of steps to follow which can bring you some answers.

Melster: how do you know what the position of the cervix 'should' be and what it feels like when it's high or low? Hope you 'O' soon.

AFM: DH and i had a tiff at just the wrong time. Think i may have missed 'O' by a day : ( Had pains and EWCM Thursday night and Friday morning. Not sure if that means I 'O' Friday morning or later on Friday? Does EWCM come before or at the same time as 'O'? DOn't think the egg would have hung around until we 'kissed and made up'!

I was looking at the papers the hospitalgave me and there's nothing, just a g.a instruction form and a slip for a gp check up. It seems they didn't even check me out of the hospital properly as I was sent home without seeing a dr or even a midWife after the procedure, I didn't even get to ask anything because the nurses said they didn't know anything...

I guess I'll have to go see the lady I was talking to at the Early peg assessment service and ask questions and stuff.

Should I be taking antibiotics? They didn't give me a script for them either,

Possum - From memory I got ewcm for a few days before o.... I think you're still in with a shot. :)

Loops - FX you get plenty of eggs and you're utd in no time.

Matthews mum - Sorry about af, I hope this cycle is the one for you hun.

Mum2Ramone: I think they give some antibiotics while you are under anaesthetic having the d & c. You don't need to automatically take more antibiotics after the procedure unless you develop signs of an infection (which might be bleeding continuing on for a long time, usually along with an unpleasant smell and feeling unwell eg temperature). Chat to your GP or gyno if you are unsure. Most people are ok i think and avoiding BD (and baths i think) for about 2wks after d & c helps prevent infection too. Hope you make a good recovery.

Forshelby thanks! I hope i'm still in with a shot. I usually 'o' between day 12- 16 and this all happened day 13/14 so dunno! I'm hoping egg didn't pop till late on day 14 or even CD15! PS stalking you in the other thread : )

AFM: Feeling a bit down today. Feel like i missed opportunities to get UTD this month and also feeling sad about friends who are pg and i'm not. My best friend is 4 wks ahead of where i should have been with the most recent pg. My other best friend has quietly told me she thinks she's 4wks pg. I was meant to have my 2nd child a few months after she did. Now it looks like she's onto number three and i'm still waiting for number two. I hope i don't offend those still TTC number one- I am very grateful i have one- but i feel sad that others are moving ahead with their families when i have not been able to.

Possum - I'm honoured that you would consider me fit to be stalked. :) Try not to despair about o'ing. I was SURE I'd missed the boat in my BFP cycle, and we only DTD twice around my fertile time. We managed a quickie before work one day and ta-daa... so it can happen with limited opportunities. I understand how hard it must be for you to watch other's families grow and yours hasn't yet. I don't know why some of us have everything fall into place and others don't. I hate that 'everything happens for a reason' talk, and I think sometimes there is no reason, it's just the way things are and that's the path we have to follow. Because honestly, what reason could there be for such a touch journey? FX for a quick BFP for you, and a happy healthy pg.

Melster - And so it continues. I hope you're UTD and that's why you didn't pick up your O.

Minnie - Maybe the dr can give you something to force af? I can't imagine how frustrating that would be.

AFM- Well we got all our fence up today for my vegie patch I have now started......THANK YOU Forshelby for the idea of growing something, I know I got a little carried away and went for the full vegie patch.....lol.....planted strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce and carrots so far and MIL bought me a Navel Orange tree and I planted that the other day. Now to sit back and watch them "HOPEFULLY" grow......FX.....:pray: My first vegie patch Ive had since I was a little girl......so excited. Feeling good so far, wish AF would hurry up and get here so I can get to the gyno. Been suffering a bit of heartburn the last few days just get rid of the heartburn and I get a niggling headache.......still have sore BBs and sorry if TMI but I've also had alot of gas "both ends" the last day or 2........so it's cd24 for me today and no AF as yet. Hope you have all had a great week end and a safe one.

Morning ladies...how is everyone..i wrote a post but dont know what happened to it..!!!

ATM......im real sensitive at the moment to everything and everyone..im real touchy and real emotional...its so annoying.....im getting affected by the smallest things or getting upset by what feels like rejection....bahhhhhhh...feel the need to be with people all the time and be invited everywhere....think im going through a moment...

My boobs are so massive at the moment i cant fit into my bras..i cant beleive it.....and there kinda achy (could be one of two things..weight gain or pregnancy) im quiet gassy and have been burping like a trooper. Still got those strange feelings in my stomach..kinda burning/period dull ache type pain..still feel quiet wet i think...kinda a bit sicky.....but im not getting my hopes up as i have felt this way before and not been pregnant....i keep thinking im pregnant ....but could be my emotions and im not trusting my judgement now especially when i have no idea when i o'd..still going to use an opk this afternoon

Melster- Sounds like you are having a bit of a rough trot at the moment darl. Sending you some cyber hugs that will hopefully make you feel a little better. Can you go to your DR and ask for a BT just to have a check on if you are O'ing, it may put you mind at ease a little and it may make you feel a little better knowing that you are heading in the right direction. :crossfingers: you have/will catch your egg.
AFM- Looks like AF is going to be here right on time for me this month :crossfingers: had my temp dip this morning so I'm guessing but I should have another dip tomoro then AF by Wednesday hopefully :pray: So it will be off to the Gyno for me. Can't wait to get in there and see what they say and what we are going to do.
