Trying to Conceive After Miscarriage or Loss October 2010

Thank Iona I'm praying AF will arrive by Wednesday at the latest be good if it's sooner though. DF is all set for his SA to be done hopefully he can take the day off on Friday and we can get that done and I'm hoping to get into the gyno asap as well. Feels pretty good to have an action plan now like we are at least heading in the right direction to get our BFP and our little bring hom bundle of joy.....FX.
I was a little on the concerned side when I rang up to see if we had to book in to have DFs SA done as the first lady I spoke to told me we would have to go to a public toilet to get the sample, after sitting there totally shocked for a few seconds I thought to myself well there goes getting the SA done there is no way in this world DF would do something like that not ever, so then I rang the private hospital and they told me that's a load of rubbish they have rooms for getting swimmer samples and that to come in and they will look after us. And she also told me that our DR will have our results that day or at the latest the following morning so that was good news as well. So it looks like everything is slowly falling into place for us which is such a HUGE relief for me and feels like the weight of the world has been taken off my shoulders, it's great.

Thanks so much for all your kind wishes ladies. My Egg Collection has been pushed back to Wed now which hopefully means even more eggs will be collected, keeping FX'd anyway. I will keep you posted as to how I go.

Minnie ~ I dont really get it that much either but Antagonist needles are different somehow and supposedly I will get better quality eggs collected - heres hoping!

Clairesmummy- I cant believe they first mentioned a public toilet! That is awful! Stupid stupid woman. Imagine how many other guys just end up going along with it.. i cant imagine anything worse then having to try and get myself in the mood in a public toilet! When my dh got both of his samples done he cld do them at home and just had to have them at the pathology within an hour.. u live a bit out of town tho dont u? We also were very naughty and bd'ed to begin the whole process.. apparently ur not meant to do that because the females stuff can interfere with the testing.. but it didnt seem to matter.. i got the results i was hoping for.. they werent crash hot! Dh then realised he had to pull his head in and get a bit more healthy.. which he did by the 2nd test.
Wishing him the best of luck.. ur going to have to get him all randy before he goes to do his sample! ;)
Oh and if u go on clomid and have any questions just ask me.. i was on it for 5 cycles :)

Reet- I will and do have millions of questions about Clomid.......There is NO way in this world my DF would of went to a public toilet to get his sample that much I do know for sure. Yeah we live 2 hours away from the testing centre so couldn't do it at home and take it in....worse luck.....When my DR was organising the forms for DF to have his SA done she also said she doesn't think there will be to much wrong with his swimmers as he has got the job done twice for me now so even she reckons I'm the problem (lacking for better words at the moment) But at least this way we will know one way or the other what we are dealing with. Not sure about the getting him all randy part as I will have DD with me when we go so I suggested maybe I could help out in another way. Mobile phones are a great invention...IYKWIM......lol......I'm just hoping AF will be here either tomoro or Wednesday or I will have to wait until next month for another BT and I just want to get in and see the gyno NOW I don't want to wait another month before we can make things happen. So seeing as though you have given me the all clear to ask you all about Clomid can I please ask, are the side effects from taking it as bad as I have read on the net as in hot flushes, being sick, migraines, moody cause DF reckons I'm moody enough now so that won't change much then he tells me........lol.....And is the risk of twins higher on Clomid if you have twins in your family???? As I said I have a million questions darl but I won't hit you with them all at once.....lol.....Hope you are bub are travelling along well darl and you must have your 12wk scan soon......Can't wait to hear all about it where can I stalk all my PG friends to see how you are all going???? Missing you all heaps in here it's sooooo quiet with you all.

Minnie- Hope AF hurries up and gets to you soon darl so you can start your TTC journey, maybe we may end up being AF buddies we must be the only ones in here wishing she would just get her butt here like NOW please AF.....lol....The patholigist told me today when I rang them that they will have DFs results to our DR by the end of the day or early the next day at the latest which was like music to my ears to hear that. I'm getting very impatient now and just wanna get the ball rolling. Bring on AF for us I say darl FX she arrives for us both very very very soon......

Clairesmummy- Haha love ur mobile phone idea.. good thinking! Even if his results all come back brilliant its so interesting to find out the results.. like how many swimmers there are and how many of them are abnormal and how many of them are moving correctly etc.. very very interesting! :)
I didnt really get any of those symptoms on clomid.. everyone is different tho. I did get mood swings tho.. i lost the plot at dh a few times during that week when i was taking it.. i still say i had good reason too tho and he deserved it haha.. but nah it did make me a bit erratic.. u might cry.. u might get angry.. if u and ur df are prepared for it tho its a lot easier to deal with! :) Oh i also got really sore ovaries around O time.. right across my lower tummy was really tender.. bding wld hurt in some positions too.
Im not sure about the twins thing if u already have them in the family.. i know there is a higher chance of having twins when ur on clomid but its only about 10% or something. I was hoping i wld be that 10%!

Clairesmummy....i cant believe they said he had to use a public toilet...thats so discusting...you're poor DH...luckily the other people came to the rescue...otherwise maybe the car would have been a better option..but can you imagine if he got caught LOL......a friend i know went on clomid...i think she lied to the dr how long they had been trying though because they had only been trying six months, and she had a history of depression and post natal not eating with the othe pregnancy etc...and she has ended up with twins and only wanted a girl..so of course she isnt paying any attention to the boy and only the girl and she cant look after them...and she has really bad post natal.....but she is the only person i know...so sorry hun...i am PRAYING for you that AF comes.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Minniemouse...yeah i did one in the arvo and it was a bit darker than the yesterdays one but not very dark...im a mess at the moment....so i think it depends were i am at with my cycle to how i feel.....Can you go to the dr and get you're af kick started..isnt there a tablet they can give you to bring on af??? i just wish i knew if i was ovulating or not..and then i would probably relax a little...my dr knows everything so i am not sure he would give me a blood test knowing we have only been trying 3months after mc

ATM......i have no idea whats going on with me....i look pregnant....my boobs are killing me and are sooooooo heavy....i am not happy about this weight :wall: and the wierdest thing happened last night...i woke up with belly pains at 1.30 and then had to (Go!!!) to the toilet....that was really strange for me.....that never happens in the middle of the night...i have had period type pains on and off....cervix is still med/highish...and wet...but thats about it....so heres to waiting yet AGAIN having no real idea whats going on....

Reet- Awesome that you got to see your bub again, so happy you are feeling more confident about your 12week scan now that's awesome news darl. :clap: I will try and prepare DF for my moodiness than...lol...he reckons I'm moody enough now can't wait till he gets a taste of real mood swings.....lol....lucky for me he is a patient loving man or I could of been divorced already.....;) Good luck for Wednesday darl make sure you get them to give you a pic of bub when he/she waves at you.... Melster- I told DF what that chick said to me about going to the public toilet to get his sample and like I predicted he said like beeping hell I will do that, so luckily I had the hospital to turn too or we wouldn't of got to get the SA done at all.....lol.......and there would be no way in this world he would of done it in the car......lol....I'm not sure how I would cope with the news of having twins be scared at first but I would love them both just as much. At least if I was lucky enough to have twins 1 boy 1 girl our family would then be complete......DF would love twins he keeps telling me you know if you do get pregnant we are going to have twins and DD keeps telling me she going to have a brother and sister one day soon.....so I guess at least they are in thier own way preparing me for it and so is my DR.....lol.....
AFM- Well still no sign of AF yet, this time last cycle she was raising her head by now but all I have had is some cramping and feeling like she is going to hit at any second but when I go to check there is nothing. Just like AF aint it when you don't want her there she is raising her ugly head when not wanted now when I DO want her she is staying away and leading me down the garden path......go figure......AF please come and visit me no later than tomoro lunch time please please please....I am begging of you.

well it looks like af is finally going to grace me with her presence ! day 54 about time ! now i know i shouldn't complain but that will mean day 14 is the day we are going away for a 5 day holiday ! we are staying at a friends place so we will have to be dtd there.....terrible timing, af waited so long she could have waited another few days !!!

Minnie- Yay for AF arriving for you wish I could be so lucky........lol.....No idea any more with whats going on with me have been getting cramps on and pff all day but every time I check there is nothing. When I checked before I had some EWCM I haven't had it all month now it decides it's going to turn up right when I should be getting AF. Looks like it's going to be a waiting game for me this cycle and will have to have yet another BT next cycle........I'm so over it.

Yeah i defiantly could be pregnant....i have swollen boobs which arent fitting in my bra...bloated belly...period type pains..i have been feeling quiet wet too..i have been burping etc......but im too afraid to think im pregnant just incase i get a huge dissapointment and i had symptoms last time and wasnt pregnant.........maybe i just missed the surge on the opks but actually did o and fell pregnant...well its what im praying for....i wont test tho for a while...dont think i can handle it

what is implantion bleeding like? I think im about four or five dpo and i went to loo then ans when i wiped there was blood....not period blood or dark blood..kinda light blood. Im ten days from my period so its way to early....do u think its implantion

Sorry about my typos and spelling last night..i was excited to see blood LOL and on my phone LOL.....

I had to get up at 1.30 again and go to the LOO LOO!!! again...so strange, got pain and then needed to go...and this morning i have put panty liner and there is little bit of blood and a little bit of periodish type pain......anyone had implantation? does this sound like it? Along with the massive gianormus boobs that dont fit in my bra, a bad headache this morning, swollen belly, period pains on and off.....been feeling wet down there...highish cervix.....

I never normally get my period early...if anything it would normally be late and last period was 4 days late...but normally i am 28 days...although after mc i should suspect anything........i am :pray: its implantation....implantation implantation implantation...........i am going to google this morning and see....

So if this is implantation can i test early then...say in two days time? or should i wait till next thur for af?

Melster - My implantation bleeding was like tiny specks of red on the toilet paper. If I wasn't looking so hard I probably would have missed it. But it can be a pinkish discharge, or brownish, or even red spotting. There's a wide variation. It does sound promising to me though... let us know how you go. I would still wait to test until at least 3-4 days before af is meant to be due.

Minniemouse...how much bleeding did you get yesterday?

ATM...well i have had bleeding today...i would say its kinda light and just using panty liners..but its defiantly more than just spotting..its quiet red actually and a bit of brownish stuff.....and kinda sticky..i have had some period pain and o pain...so im not sure what thats about.......im not sure that implantation should have pain.....it doesnt seem the same as my periods or like the spotting i got in the first cycle when my period was due... and i am never this early....................and i had a killer headache this morning...my boobs are still swollen etc...............

I have been googling :D and they say that if its heavy or like a period than its not implantation...i have been trying to look up the difference between breakthrough bleeding and implantation...but its more towards when you're period is, you could think this is spotting but i am only 6dpoish.....

Guess i will see how it goes tonight and tomorrow...they say it can last for a couple hours or a couple days...but it has to be light....

So i am still WAITING...thats all i ever feel like i am doing these days, waiting for pregnancy, waiting for period, waiting to o, waiting to BD, tww.......

Well here's goes with the all about me.......lol.....well for the last 2 nights I have been hitting the bed with a huge headache not quite a migraine but very close to one, seem to have yet another brewing to hit me again this evening, yesterday and today I am feeling totally shattered and would kill to have a granny nap. But here's the part that I was warning about in my header, every time I go to the loo for the last 2 days now I am doing number 2's just as much as peeing.....sorry feral news I know but just want ppls thoughts....I never poop as much as this ever unless I get the runs of course, but it's not the runs not even close as I haven't had any cramping like you do before you get the runs. I had cramps in my lower belly like AF cramps yesterday but nothing today at all no spotting nothing nudder zip. I'm now at CD27 and usually have a few signs the day before Af shows, I always have some type of spotting the day before she arrives so tomoro aint looking much different than today for me. But I guess we shall wait and see. Spent the day in town today and yes on my DRs advice I bought some HPTs just in case I do as she told me and POAS on Friday morning. But I already know it will be a BFN. GGGGRRRRRRR so frustrating........

Minniemouse....that sounds like a good idea....something is defiantly going on....do u know if ur ovulating? Dodoesnt pos and end cause irregular periods and low progesterone?

Apparently implantation can vary depending on the woman...it can be from light spotting to a light period..and it normally only lasts from a few hrs to 3 days....its normally from red to pink to brown blood but not like af......and not heavy like af

I keep checking and there is some when i wipe and a bit on pad...its not constant but is there....its kinda redish....i still have a bit of period pain...see how i go tonight and if it gets heavier and darker....i have never had break through bleeding or anything like that before....unless my cycles r really up to buggar.....

Keep your fingers crossed Melster hopefully it is implantation for you darl, I'm hoping and praying for you that it is.
AFM- Not sure if AF is gunna hit soon as of the last half hour I have pain down in my girly area IYKWIM......not even sure how to explain it but it is really uncomfortable down there when I'm sitting down, nearly like a dull ache i spose. Just wish AF would get here like now. But it's looking like I'm gunna have to wait yet another 20+ days and have yet another BT.........I so wanted to get to the gynae like NOW......but that aint gunna happen.......

Well i am completely bummed and upset................i think this might be af early..its more than spotting....and its a bit heavier now but no were near af yet....i still have slight cramping....and the blood is redish and had a couple small brown clots......i am still holding out hope but i dunno...i will see how it goes today...normally if it was af it be real heavy by now...

What causes early af and short cycles..?? so if it is af i have gone from 4 days late last cycle to 8 days early what the?????

Melster- Until AF arrives properly darl you are still in with a chance I have my FX that it's not AF for you, sending you massive amounts of baby dust. I would of swapped with you yesterday but now I'm at CD28 and no sign of AF this morning yet.......so now when she arrives I will be waiting until CD20 something to go and have yet another BT done next cycle. So won't be seeing any gynae now till next month to get some answers. Think I'm going to start calling AF Uncle Flow "UF" as just like a man she is never on time.....lol........

I have just message my ob's receptionist to ask her and see if its too early or what she thinks............i booked an appointment to see my dr tomorrow and see if he will do the test or give me a referral to my ob....might be too early but i'll give it a go anyways....im not waiting a year of this....might have to go back to accupunture as well......im getting pretty sick of this to be honest.....

Be good if they can help you out darl, at least you will have some answers as to why and what's happening. Not knowing is the worst part I think. It drives you insane all the waiting and not knowing and all the what if's. This month I decided to not even think about TTC as I had my DR appointment for my BT and just left it all up to dear ol' mother nature to decide what was/is going to happen for me this month. And it has relieved my stress of TTC so much it's unbelievable. But now it's a different story as I will have to got through the wait all over again before I can have another BT. And who know's what my UF is doing I have no idea. I always have spotting before he arrives but so far there is nothing.
It cracks me up every time I read my own posts this month as I could well be UTD as we did DTD no idea if I o'd though so not sure on that one. But instead of even considering I may be UTD I just have it in my head that UF is playing tricks on me yet again. Small things amuse me I guess.....lol......
Anyhoo I hope you get some answers darl from your DR or OB I have my FX for you. Take care of you.

Minni- I caved and did a test about an hour ago and no surprise to me it was a BFN, but I got a light +ive result on my OPK. If no AF by tonight I will test again with FMU tomoro. If no AF by Monday I will be heading back to my DR to see if she can refer me to a gynae asap.

I used a First response HPT, but in saying I took the test it may not be right as I have been drinking on and off all morning as well. Still no sign of AF arriving yet. Feeling really tired this afternoon might go and curl up with DD and have a little snooze.
Thank you for the vote of confidence darl I appreciate it. Time will tell one way or the other, but I think the BFN it right though cause the only thing that may have resembled O time for me this cycle was when I had some pinkish spotting 1 night when I wiped after a loo trip, but have had no real temp rise at all. The confusing part for me is that I have never had any spotting at O time if that's what it was. Ahhhhhhh who knows, I don't any more. LOL
