Aww thanks... hmmm I am trying to give myself some things to do this TWW. Its took ages for o to arrange this month it felt like anyway/ Not that I am wishing my life away or anything. Do you buy your HPT off e bay? Lots cheaper and you don't feel bad wasting them :) I am an addict!
Wish my DH would come home and bring me a drink! Its too far to drive to the shops gee I am lazy!
-
I usually don't buy any HPTs usually wait for AF to arrive instead but anyhoo seeing as though my DR told me to do a HPT if AF don;t arrive I went out and bought some from woolworths. I know what you mean about being to far to drive to town we are over 30klms away from town here and I never go in there unless DD has kindy.......lol....
-
Oh well I buy them off e bay 40 for 12 dollars or something silly like that! Now that gives me something to do at the end of TWW!
We are not that far from town probably about 15 mins but it seems like a waste of petrol to go in there for one thing!
So are you hoping for a referral this month if you don't get your BFP?
-
Thanks ladies........my girlfriend seems to think it might be stress....do you think stressing over TTC could cause all my cycle problems??? Or do you think i have an actual problem............? Its only been three months since the mc and this one will be my 4th cycle...and i can hear the dr now..."keep trying you're cycles are just getting back to normal its only been 4months"....i know probably am being impatient but jeeezzzzzzzzz...
Joeve...i am an addict as well................"MY NAME IS MELSTER AND I AM A SERIAL PREGNANCY TESTER" ....but i buy the expensive ones and the opks...dont know why!!!!!!!! What can do in you're TWW?? ill try think of something other than testing....
Clairesmummy...Yeah, you would have thought by now they would have done something about it!!!!!!! You poor love.....2years is a long time......No wonder you're over it...its been 3months for me and im already :wall: .....shows how much patience i have LOL Im with you with the whole age thing....im getting closer and closer to hitting 35..
I even thought maybe i should have a break from the forum and the TTC thing for a while......well that lasted a total of two seconds :rolleyes:
-
Melster - Yes stress definitely comes into it. Hard not to stress but stress does create all sorts of weird and wacky things to trigger in your body....
Umm I am thinking I can clean out my wardrobe, learn to ride the rideon lawn mower so I can mow the lawn, plant some plants ummm wash the dogs - gee that will take me 2 weeks no doubt with some procrastinating! You need to buy some cheapie tests so much better for your wallet!!!
-
Joeve- I got all my OPKs off of Ebay I bought 50 of them for not much money but have nearly run out of them now....lol.....
But as I said I'm over the whole TTC thing now and leaving it up to dear ol' mother nature. I need a rest I'm so tired of not having any answers. Bout time I ripped a few words into my DR I think and told her what I want now instead of sitting back and letting them decide. Yeah all sounds good in theory but now I have to words into actions........lol.......I'm not very forward when it comes to that type of thing...I lack assertiveness at times.
-
I hear you. My DR is the same I am over her, she told me lose 5 kilos and then i will be pregnant. I am not exactly overweight to begin with so I am WTF?????? Just give me a referral but like you I just nod and go ok... ha ha
-
hi girls,
well we are all doing it a bit tough today, melster, i so hate all the guessing that goes on with ttc, if only we could just see inside ! so are you saying your on day 1 or still waiting ? personally i don't think stress has too much to do with it (but i could be wrong) some women get pregnant under the most trying of circumstances, i'd say it is just your body getting sorted after the m/c
clairesmummy: im still hanging in here hoping for you, 2 years is such a long time, i don't know why a dr would have let you wait so long, here's hoping you don't need that referral !
Joeve: wwhhooo in the 2ww, i did lol at you being bored of it already ! i hope it goes quick for you and you have good news at the end
Loops: how did your fertilisation rate go ? hope it is good news for you
possum: are you still out there, how are you going ?
im still having mucousy blood on wiping every few hours, not enough to get a liner, have no idea what its about but i am thinking i might start the clomid on day 5 from when i first saw the blood, maybe that will force my body to do a normal cycle and the next one might be better !
-
you girls all sound too nice with your dr's (or maybe im too pushy), my thoughts on dr's is they are there to refer you onto the people you really need to see, one specialist i saw wanted me to do this and that and said he would give me the drugs i needed after that so i did it and then he wanted me to wait longer so i changed specialists and the 2nd gave me what i needed straight away and i was pregnant the first cycle, you really need to push to get what you want, don't let them decide your future, anyway just my :twocents:
-
I love my ob...the receptionist sent me a msg saying he said to get a referral and come and see him!!!!!
Ill check in on my phone over the wkend...
Seeya ladies...
Happy vibes to everyone
-
Joeve- Yeah it sucks doesn't it I wish sometimes I could just get in that DR room and say right this time love you are gunna listen to me.......lol.....but I know darn well I would never do that......sometimes it really sucks being nice......lol.....
Minnie- Don't hang around waiting for my BFP darl cause I know it's gunna be a BFN for me I just know it.........Don't cross anything for me as you may lose circulation to your fingers.....lol....only joking darl. I just aint hopeful about it at all, not down about it just have reached a stage where I throw my hands in there air and say who gives a rats bum.....I can't keep getting my hopes up any more about TTC as it will just kill me.........god knows if I ever do get a BFP I will probably pass out from shock.......lol......hope all you ladies have better luck than me and get all your BFPs soon. Here's to us all we must be due for a run of BFPs in here ladies come on who is gunna be the first off the rank.......maybe loops, joeve, possum, minnie..........sorry if I have missed anybody.......brains got old timers setting in at this time of day...nearly time for bed.....lol....

Fertilisation :(
Hi Ladies
Melster ~ Sorry AF has arrived hun, - its so rough and Im feeling for you. But once you start again you'll feel a bit happier. All the best for next month. Perhaps go out and have a drink and some fun with mates! I think it could be still after the m/c it took my body about the same to get back to norm - well I actually dont think it even got there.
Clairesmummy ~ Could it have been too early to POAS and get a BFP - sounds like it! :SAAF: Fingers crossed the witch stays away
Joeve ~ GL in TWW hun, i'll be joining you soon. Hope its doesnt send you crazy as I know it probably will me.
Minniemouse ~Thanks. GL again on the clomid! Hope you start soon.
Hi everyone and sending out lots of :stickyvibesgirl::bluedust:
AFM ~ Thanks everyone for all your support and encouragement by the way, much appreciated. Got the call this morning - only 7 out of the 15 fertilised. A little disappointing to lose so many so quickly but hey at least we have some I guess. Transfer will be Sunday and if we have two that make it (F and TX) we will be transfering two. Really hoping we have some to freeze as well.
-
Good Luck Loops, Fingers, toes, legs, arms and anything I can are all crossed for you darl. Wishing you all the very best for Sunday, I will be thinking of you. It could be to early for me Loops I have no idea darl, when or if I O'd at all this cycle I usually O around day 19-23 and BT picked up no O at CD19 but we haven't DTD since CD20 today is CD28 for me.
Minnie- I love it, can you help me a little more assertive with my DR maybe I need some lessons on how to be assertive and get what I want but still be meek and mild about it IYKWIM. It's so frustrating for me it's not like I'm getting younger and the whole just wait and see method is obviously not working for me.......
-
loops: sorry to hear you didn't get more fertilised but that means they are strong little ones, hope it all goes well the next few days and you get 2 good to transfer sunday and some left over to freeze
clairesmummy: do you know which specialist you will see, often what i do is make the appointment with the specilaist cause it can take some time to get in and see them (and when you ring to make the appointment and they ask who is referring just say your drs name then when you can just go to your dr and get the referral before you go, they may be more inclined to give you the referral if you already have the appointment !
-
Loops goodluck sweetie fx you have 2 to go in and some to freeze, and can't wait for you to join me in the tww!!!
-
Minnie- I'm assuming my DR will eventually send me to see an OB/GYN as she said that I will need to see one whether I'm PG or not. She said gynae but I would assume she meant OB as well. Been having a few cramps again tonight nothing major just feels like AF coming but I still have nothing. Guess I may waste a HPT in the morning just to see if it gives me any ideas as yet.
-
Hi Minnie, still here. Not much happening. On and off cramping but AF not due for a week. Guess it's going to be one of those cycles where i have days of symptoms before AF. Pretty sure i'm not pg because i think we DTD too late (after procrastinating whether to wait another month to TTC i think we missed the egg). Oh well, will try and focus on other things til i 'o' again. (Don't let me fool you though if i sound blase... the TWW is still killing me!)
Melster: Sorry AF arrived. Sux.
Clairesmummy: no pressure but i'm checking in on you tomorrow! (Just in case hon!)
Joeve: JOining you in the TWW!
Loops: Oh, everything crossed for you for Sunday. HOpe you get a lovely bubba or two for now and some for later!
-
Hi ladies ! - not sure if it's a bit early for me to be joining you here - i had my d and c yesterday at 10w4days and i guess i already am starting to try and think towards TTC again. I thought i would need longer to get over it all (not to say i am over it) but i think the fact i had a week b/w a bad ultarasound result and the d and c gave me time to process a lot of it - so today, being only the day after i am amazed and also a bit suspicious of how good i am feeling both physically and mentally. I got home from hospital at 11.30pm last night, took some panadol at midnight and haven't needed any at all today, only very slight tummy niggles and odd stabbing pain not needing meds. Also, like mumtoramone mentioned i am having only the tiniest bit of bleeding and wouldn't be suprised if none tomorrow, i expected several weeks of bleeding, although i bled very little after a c/s, maybe i am just not a 'bleeder' IYKWIM??
Soooo...guess i just wanted to say hi and read a bit about how long you guys waited to start trying etc.....i was not told anything about not DTD, although i read somewhere can be a good idea to use condoms for a few weeks to avoid infection??? I am not really interested just at the mo, still feeling a bit 'invaded' from the d and c!!
Ob.said to wait for bleeding to stop, then for AF to arrive and then we can start trying after that, but sounds like some get pg before even seeing af??
We have had one chemical pg (had positive hcg at day 20-something found in blood tests done for other health reasons and then basically got 'normal' period )- was still hard though as for a few days at least thought i was pg, very disappointing!! I had CMV (cytomegalovirus) at the time so was facing decisions re continuing the pg and nature made the decision for us i guess.....then this time we believed we were pregnant for weeks and at a scan at 9wk3days were told there was a sac but no baby - quite devestating to go to the scan all excited and be told that....
anyways, onward and upward, so thanks to all you ladies for the info i have already gained from you and i wish you hugs and babydust for BFP's asap!!
Possummagic - identified with your comments re already having a child. I have a 12 moth old baby girl and am spending a lot of time last week feeling very grateful for having one child when others may not have one - it has certainly made me hold her tighter and feel more grateful. However, it doesnt change the pain of a loss at any time and if you are ready to expand your family and watch people around proceed with this next step easily it is still hard not to be envious.. i think the desire to "add to your family" whether it be your first, second or eighth child is still a strong desire if it is in you to want another......however let me respectfully say that i do think for me personally i would have perhaps felt this loss more if i didnt have one already....i know that wont be true for everyone, i guess i am just trying to ease my guilt for whinging when i am so lucky to have one.....
