Tanya, you must have an iron will to be sticking to your strict diet...I couldn't do it! I was going to ask the same question as Sez about *boy* positions but was too embarrassed! LMAO The Shettles Method is meant to have decent results...

Hope, just keep doing the OPK's until you get a strong second line. I had to do about 10 this cycle until I got a positive because I didn't O until CD18! A +OPK coupled with a temp dip then rise is the best indication of O'ing. I can't go by CM at all...I only had EWCM on CD15 this cycle, 3 days before O! LOL

Paige, that's a great story about conceiving 2 days after O'ing! Well, there's hope for me yet then!! LOL Looks like we're cycle buddies so let's hope that we both get a lovely little surprise in about 9 days ;)

Awww Sez, I hope you're feeling better today sweetie. I guess it's hard not to let those niggly little worries eat away at us. I just know that things will work out for you this time, everything will be just perfect. BTW, your bubba has a great EDD...my birthday is 2 June :D LOL

Hi all..

Just a really quick one...

Tested AGAIN this morning and was feeling really positive about it. Until 10mins after testing I looked at the results...NEGATIVE... :( ...I'm really quite upset about it this time, don't know why, but nevertheless I have to go on...but for the moment I've made an appointment with my GP but unfortunately I can't get in to see him until 9 October...he's going on holidays. I could go to another Dr but all my history is with him...:(

Anyway, I'm just going to lay low for a while until AF show's her pitiful mug...hurry up DAMN IT!!!

Ohhh thank you all so much for asking after me - didnt mean to leave you all hanging like that.

Righto - well Im really going to need the supportive of you wonderful ladies over the next two weeks...blood test came back POSITIVE for pregnancy :eek: but the dr said the levels were a bit low but that could all depend on O and implantation time etc etc.. So I was a blubbering mess in the arvo, and went off to see my NP. She told me that the energy of bubs was okay but that if I stressed tooo much I would cause the baby stress. She told me not to worry about my levels etc.. she said that my body was telling her im pregnant and its all in my aura and the baby's aura is glowing around my belly. She gave me herbs to relax and she also gave me some fetal support herbs which I have to drink in tea form.

I feel rather quesy and dont know if its from all the emotions or from actually being pg. My belly feels really tight atm, and i have been having some pains in the right side (where there is no tube??).

Now its just a waiting game girls. Im so worried, but I know you will help me through no matter what the outcome.

Kate - Sorry about the BFN. Sometimes it is easier to assume the worst even when AF has not shown her face yet, so I'll be hopeful for you! I am sure you are feelin down, but we are here.

Tanya - I have a whole pile of emails from the Birth Planning Centre in Quebec, they cover all sorts of gender selection, diet, timing of BD, even Vaginal Douche (which I think may be illegal in Aust). Id say PM me but I dont know how. If your interested let me know. Im sure I can get them to you some how.

With all the emotion of being told im pg - i didnt really ask what the level was!

It's probably hard to know when you O'ed because you don't chart so I'm sure your levels are low because the pg was picked up really early. Did they give you an hCG reading?

Please listen to what your NP said...the bubba can feel your stress so just relax and know that everything will be ok.

Paige, yup the TWW is a shocker huh! I'm not at all confident about this cycle (it's been aaaaaaall over the place! LOL) so I'm actually just really keen for AF to arrive so we can give it our all next cycle! Do you think you'll test?

the reason I have not been posting in here for a while is that I have just felt rather disheartened about ttc lately , things are not so good on the home front thanks to a really horrid landlord so we are trying to save to find another place asap so the ttc has been put back a little just untill we feel a little happier in general iukwim we are both under alot of stress and just dont feel that this would be the right time, I have an appointment with a OBGYN on the 12th of Oct as I really want the all clear from him before we ttc again, oh yeah and looks like my SIL is pg she had an appointment with the specialist and he did an internal scan and found that she had an eggie so they have been keeping a very close eye on it now for 3 weeks and it looks like it is growing etc so fingers crossed they dont have any problems.
well thats enough about me I really wanted to pop in and say hi to all of you I will be posting in here a bit more now as I really miss you all so much.

The other reason is because my puter got a virus and was gone for 3 weeks which made it a little difficult to get on LOL

I think if AF does not arrive by 8/10 I will test. If I am pg, I should know though as I always get severe cramps on the day AF is due, and I wont test earlier as I never have much luck with testing early - always end up with BFN's.

CONGRATULATIONS LISA, that is wonderful news honey i am so so so pleased for you. Remember what i said to you the other day about the naturopath not putting any needles in your ovary (i think you were ovulating then - i dont know why its just a hunch) and that your levels are low only because it is very early hence why you got a couple of BFN's. I feel sure that if you test in a couple more days you will see that second line. So are they going to scan you in a couple of weeks to try and find out how far along you are??? CONGRATULATIONS again sweety you so deserve this!

Tanya, No wonder you are confused on the best way to go with Gender swaying it sounds like there is heaps of conflicting information. GL sorting through it all.

Belle, The tww is so difficult isnt it and its really hard to remain positive when you have been sick and feeling a little down. Hang in there mate it wont be too long before that BFP i can feel it.

Kate, Sorry about the BFN but i agree with the others that if FF is right and you are only 9 dpo it would be too early. Try to wait a couple more days (even though that is easier said than done) and hopefully fingers crossed it will be a BFP then.

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. I feel a lot better today, but im still anxious. I bought yet another hpt today to see what would happen, and I finally saw it with my own eyes - bfp! Although the blood test confirmed, now that i have the hpt in front of me it feels more real. I did a hpt yesterday and it was bfn - so this must mean my levels are rising! I sure hope so. Now that I know the little bean is here I want it to stick so badly :pray: :pray: :pray:

Kate, :hug: for you honey. I'm sorry you got another BFN, and that you have to wait to see your GP. Could you see if your Ob can see you sooner? That's what I'd do. 10 days feels like a long time to wait, I'm sure! And don't forget, Miss Lisa was getting BFNs until she had a BT..........so you never know! Thinking of you sweets, and don't forget, if this isn't the month for you guys, you have a whole lot of rabbits to turn green LOL!!!!!

went for my beta this morning - so have to sit tight til this arvo. Im pretty anxious, couldnt get much sleep, but boy have I been nauseas(sp?), had a couple of dry reaching episodes this morning, have metal mouth and im having a bit more discharge than normal, and heartburn - I hope they are good signs but I know it means nothing really.

Kate - oh hunny, I hope those bfn's transform into a beautiful bfp. How many dpo are you?
