Jen - That stupid stupid AF! Even though you know she's coming from the temp drop it still sucks anyway hun, I'm sorry this wasn't your month. I don't know if you want to know if you're a bit down, but I've posted that pic you were after in the gallery - here's the link again https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums/gallery/index.php
mollycat - Yay for a chart!! :bluedust:
plc - Wonderfully said
HannahD - Glad to hear the side effects of the meds have improved for you  Still sounds like not much fun not being able to sleep though, I know how you feel! Hopefully that will improve for you soon and that your BFP is just around the corner!
Shortcake - Yay for AF! Hopefully she will pack her bags and stay away for 9 months now!
Cherished - I had a D&C and we were advised to wait one cycle as well, for the same reason as all the other girls have said - to give the lining a chance to recover. But having said that, there are still plenty of care providers out there that say there is no need to wait, it can be very confusing. I totally understand the desire not to wait though, waiting that 6 weeks for AF to return was torture and it really does add to the pain you are already feeling :(
Mel - I'm so sorry you are feeling down hun. I know with other people's pregnancies I just got to the point where I avoided anyone who was pg or who I thought might have been. I just couldn't cope with it at all. And as for that ultrasound memory, I would dearly love to be able to forget mine, but I know I never will. It is something you should never have to go through
tutmae - Congrats on the birth of Charlie!
Mannie - Happy 38th birthday!!
Hugs and babydust to all you other lovely ladies here, hoping for lots of BFPs here soon!
-
hi everyone...I too am here and lurking...and wishing you the best.
to those who are having low moments, I really really understand...hang in there. Others being pregnant can be really hard.
Mel- big hugs
tutmae- congratulations on the birth of charlie!
jen- darn AF
plc- oh that is a lovely thought and I too hope we are all blessed with our own little ones very soon
and to all i have missed a big hello
afm- my recurrent miscarriage tests reveal I have antiphospholipid syndrome...an autoimmune thing which results in blood clotting problems and can cause early and late pregnancy loss, low weight babies, preterm babies, preeclampsia etc. There is treatment, in the form of daily clexane injections in pregnancy to thin the blood.
So it's a double edged sword. on the one hand we are glad to know about this and glad there is treatment (thank goodness I had those tests!). On the other, it's another complication to have on top of the rest and a bit scary, because it makes any future pregnancy 'high risk' even with treatment.
Meanwhile, I am 4DPO and have everything crossed!
-
Quick post to possums...I have AFS also...I am getting injections of Lovenox twice daily...don't be discouraged!
-
Hi girls and thanks for all the replies to my post re how soon can I TTC after the D&C...
I am absolutley consumed with it :wall: It's totally insane!!! SO I have decided to give my OB a call to confirm that he told me I could try straight away... If he confirms I will not wait... I kinda think a bfp is unlikely unless my body is ready for it yet on the other hand I don't want to increase my chances of another mc... OMG I know all of you have gone through this agonising yourself... The fact that I am a 'true' liberian is NOT helping me at this time
Possums I am so sorry to hear of your diagnosis and I have my fingers crossed for you too :crossfingers: And here I am with my trivial crisis of when I can ttc again! Thanks for putting it in perspective for me
plc1805 I loved your post and thanks for your reply to my ttc Q. What you said about your little girl is just lovely... I had said to DH a couple of days ago something similar... "There are so many options... like millions of sperm which could fertilise the egg... The baby you get in the end is JUST SO SPECIAL" And he said to look at the mc as gaining a baby not loosing one... It's a nice way to look at things anyway
Jen LOL I didn't think you actually ate the pencils, but I am picturing it now heheh  Can't wait to check out your sky diving!
OK back to me.... WORK!!! 2 pg woman at the same time chatting at the counter about how they are due in 5 & 2 weeks and when one of them got there she felt the need to start giving me advise for "when it's my turn" This time tears were not the emotion I felt welling (as expected) it was my blood boiling!!!! OMG I just wanted to tell her to SHUT UP!!!!! OMG I have gone totally insane  and completely crazy over TTC
Thanks for the rant... Hope your'e having a better day than me :loveshower: (no I don't have multiple personality disorder, even though it sounds like it)
ADDITION A COUPLE OF MINS LATER: Just got off the phone from the OB and he said to wait until after my 1st period GOD DAM IT!!!!!! Oh well at least I can stop going insane over it..... Now I just hope that the 'other' pregnant client who missed her app this morning doesn't show up this afternoon to give me more unwanted pregnancy advise
-
Cherished it has been 6 weeks since my D & C we started trying straight away like 10 days after I am still trying as my cycle is messed up so goodluck.
I apologise in advance for TMI but I am hoping someone can shed some light on what is happening I had D&C 18th Feb got a pathetic 2 day AF on the 21st March and I am supposed to be ovulating now but instead I went to the bathroom to find more bleeding it was like redish/brownish jellish muck and bad abdo cramps almost like when I had my M/C soo sorry to share soo much but I am doing my head in I am wondering is my cycle trying to return to normal? So much for TTC this month anyway they say great things come to those who wait I am getting a little impatient though arghhh.
-
Hi Girls,
Charm- After my d & c's I had bleeding for weeks afterwards, mostly spotting and mostly brown. I don't blame you for being impatient, I think we all are when TTC. If the bleeding is stressing you, get it checked out hun.
Jen- Thank you so much my beautiful, sexy, kink twin for always thinking of me. I haven't been too good these last few days but when I lurk on BB and find you have mentioned me I feel less worhtless and insignificant. Thank you for being such a good friend.
Won't be doing big persies .....
But here's
:goodluck::bluedust::pink-babydust::SAAF::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
-
smilanatu- i am very encouraged to hear that! thanks for dropping in to tell me. I am pleased all is going well for you!
-
Hi Ladies,
nearly the end of the school day, YEAH!!
Cherished - Im glad you have been given a clearer response for your TTC question.
Like I said, each to their own but I could understand the theory behind what I was told and found out.
For me I needed the month, even though I didn't think so during it but I haven't even started my cycle and needed to heal more menatlly.
Physically I have been lucky - I only ruptured once exactly 1 week after and haven't spotted or anything since. Fingers crossed Im greeting AF by the weekend!!!!!
ALSO - I have decided its all about me now and I clearly but polietly (Ithink) tell people I dont want to talk to them. I always thought I was being 'rude' now I think Im just staying sane...
Possum - hope it helps having more information. I hope the treatment is exactly what you need and nothing else. Maybe your forever baby is just super special and will be one of those perfectionaists!
Andyk - I started acupunture to getting my body moving and ready. The wait is the hardest part...
-
hi everyone. I don't have time for persies - but just wanted to drop in and say hi and that I was thinking of you all xx
-
Hi to all ladies
Just a quick note as NCIS is on lol...
Cherished1, charm, sally, I wish I could help with the when to TTC and when AF comes back but here I am 8 weeks since the first D&C and almost 6 after the 3rd and still no AF...I wish us all AF VIBES ( Yes ladies I feel we could use some more!!..followed by some :bluedust::pink-babydust::bluedust::fertilise::poschart:

Rhi - Sorry about the BFN. I'm hoping it is just too early to test.
jen - I hadn't thought of trying sleeping pills. I'm seeing my doctor on Thursday, so will ask her about it. I'm not keen to take anything while TTC unless absolutely necessary iykwim. The side effects are wearing off, but I don't feel any different yet. It can take 4-6 weeks. Sorry AF showed again hun  Enjoy that drink tonight.
plc - You're words brought tears to my eyes too. Thankyou for popping in to give us hope. for you and April.
andy - I hope AF arrives for you soon.
megsmum - Hope all is well with you and your little one
possums - Sorry about the AFS diagnosis. I suppose at least now you finally have an answer. But on the other hand, you and your doc also have a plan of action to bring you your forever baby. I hope its real soon for you sweetie
cherished - So sorry you had a bad day
charm - After my D&C I bled/spotted for 2 weeks then 3 weeks later AF came but really only lasted for 2 days when usually for me it lasts 6 or 7. It can take a little while for our bodies to get back to normal. I hope your body sorts itself out soon. But I agree with mo3b, if it worries you, get it checked out.
sally - Good on you. You do whatever you need to do to heal hun
mrzbaby - Sending loads of AF vibes your way.
AFM - Yesterday I posted about the Zoloft disturbing my sleep. I keep waking up every couple of hours but I've been coping okay during the day. Last night was no different, but today, I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. Just really, really tired and lethargic. I think I'm coming down with something as my throat has been a little scratchy all day. Just as well I'm off to the doctor on Thursday anyway.
-
plc - Wow, what you wrote brought tears to my eyes. Thankyou for still lurking and being there for all of us. I hope one day I can do the same and give someone else hope when I become a mother. Although I hope by then this thread won't exist and everyone will be in the PAML thread. So happy to hear April is going well and bringing so much joy into your life  I am on my 2nd cycle after my op (and having endo removed) and I have everything crossed - except my legs of course
Rhi - Hope it was too early to test :noaf:
HannahD - Of course I always remember you ;) Hope you are not getting sick and you manage to get some sleep soon.
possums - Sorry to hear about your diagnosis but at the same time I am glad you have some answers and hopefully it means you are another step closer to your forever baby. Just look at smi for inspiration! Best of luck
mrzbaby - Sending you some AF vibes.
Jen - Sorry to hear that b*#@! is on her way. I really hope it is your time soon and I hope you can get some answers from the Dr (when you manage to get there and ask him). Enjoy that drink and have one for me ;) I'm trying to detox after my big weekend in Melbourne
-
Andy - Hope AF arrives for you soon.
Megsmum - Snuck a look at your pic and wow! Congrats sweetie, you deserve it. :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Big hugs to boble, charmed, coco (hope you are starting to heal from your time away), cherished, charm, smi, sally, MO3B, mollycat, mannie and anyone else who may be lurking.
AFM - I know I should be feeling more positive after getting answers from my op and shouldn't be expecting too much since it is only my 2nd cycle since having the endo removed but just can't seem to shake this really sad feeling. I feel very selfish and self absorbed  I seem to cry every night driving home from work at the moment. Blame it on the hormones! I have started using Maybe Baby again (Sally, I have taken your advice and I am licking the lens!) so hopefully that will help this month. :crossfingers:
Thanks for everyone's support :D
-
Good Evening.
Just ate way too much chocolate....
it just made the lovely fish dinner a pointless exercise...
Mel - so funny, i was seriously just talking to another friend about it! Try it straight on your tounge and see if it helps. My ferns were INSANELY clear!!!!
You feel how you feel. I kept thinking when i got to mile stones ( 2wks, 3wks, memorial etc) id feel better and it doesn't always happen.
A friend who has experienced loss said when you think about it how does it make any different reaching those times, finding out the info etc.
You are were you are and one day is no different to the next.
Ive felt better on s*** days and SHOCKING on days 'i should' feel better.
Im getting to the point were I can see people looking at me and thinking 'but its been over a month' and it sends me nuts!
Grief and loss is such a denied thing and I dont get why!
Im not a selfish person BUT its only about me for the short term.
Hannah - I hope your not getting sick!!
I have no idea how the medication works and its probably a seriously naive suggestion but I find rubbing lavenda oil on my feet helps heaps.
Charm - Hope it gets a bit better soon, sounds horrid. I would probably investigate, maybe call your surgeon?
xxoo

Hi everyone, Im back after the trip to Nanny & Poppy's and if any of you are having trouble getting through at the moment Ill tell you this...
Being away even though it was just to visit relatives, I felt better & better everyday. I narrowed it down to I was not talking about the m/c and everything else to ANYONE. Just hanging out with the grand parents and by myself has done me the world of good. I highly recommend gettin away for a couple of days to anyone having trouble gaining some clarity.
I got AF late friday night lightly and very heavy saturday so I belive that it bought me alot of closure and clarity aswell. I was feeling obsessed with TTC aswell during the first cycle back and I knew it was VERY slim pickings as to falling pg or not so Im so happy I am back into a proper cycle. I cant belive how much better I feel. I hope that those of you yet to come into a new cycle gain the same as I did. And for those lucky ones who fell pg straight away, you're a freak of nature and Im happy for you ;)
Hope you're all doing well, I havent gone through all the past posts, I started to but I felt myself getting upset so I might just lurk a little for a while maybe, and on days I feel strong Ill go through everything.
Lots of love hugs & :bluedust:
-
Coco I am glad you enjoyed the break it sounds like a good idea to get your mind off things maybe hat's what I should try.
Today I am feeling crappy I came home after only one hour at work and I am going to go to the DR to get checked out I have no bleeding after yesturday but I feel feverish my back pain has returned and I feel like I could sleep for a whole week I have never been so physically and mentally drained I think I need a holiday I hope everyone has a good day i am going to tae a nap b4 my app with Dr.
-
Jen - I don't know much about temping, but I assume a drop in temp means af is on her way? ETA - just saw your next post - that answers my q. Thanks for the no AF vibes...
plc - thankyou for dropping in. I too read your post and had a bit of a teary moment.
andy k - hugs hun
possums - knowledge is power!
cherished - whilst I didn't have a d&C, I know how consuming ttc is. One lady asked me the other day when we were adding to our family & I said soon hopefully and walked off. I felt like saying quite frankly, it's none of your business, but I didn't cos overall she is a nice lady.
charm - Sorry, I can't answer your q about the d&C. I hope you are ok & there is no infection or anything like that. Maybe it's just your body wanting you to slow down?
sally - good on you! it should be all about you. Most people rant because they don't know what to say, so they should just shut it!
Hannah - sorry to hear the meds are causing disruptive sleep. You probably feel so terrible now cos its been ages since you've had good sleep and it is all catching up with you. Hopefully the dr will be able to prescribe something to help.
mel - hugs hun. damn it is such an emotional time ttc. why does it have to be so hard?
Eliza - So glad you are feeling better. Hanging for our holiday in May - seems so far away...
Boble - Will try to get to the post office today, so you get the Maybe Baby for the weekend.
AFM - Well I am feeling emotional again. Thank goodness I have a naturopath appointment on Friday b/c I think I need something for my emotional wellbeing. I keep thinking I am out for this month, that if AF is going to show up, just get here already. I hate the tww - it sucks. Why does ttc have to be intense, such a chore? I want to be one of those women who claim to dtd once and be pg. Also, I feel like I am in competition with the mums in my mums group. I know some of them are thinking about #2 and I don't want any of them to announce before me, or at least me be pg when they announce. That is such a horrible thing to say but only 1 knows of my m/c & ttc and I don't want to have to explain to the others anything. I hate feeling like this. It makes me seem like such a cow and then I think maybe me not falling pg is punishment b/c of what I am thinking. arggg!
Sorry, that was such a negative post. I am off to find some inspiration.
Hello to everyone else.
-
just popping in ...am so busy at work today I am sorry I don't have time for personals, but I wanted to thank you all for your nice comments and support.
-
Just wanted to pop on before bed.... sorry I didn't get to post today, it's been such a busy day straight from the get-go. Will try to post in the morning before school, but have to be back there first thing to distribute See's candy to the kids that sold it, plus it's a minimum day, plus popcorn, smencils, and now I guess Spring-o-grams! :o I really need to learn to keep my mouth shut, or simply learn how to say no sometimes! Anyhow, was feeling guilty for not posting  so wanted to at least let you know I'm thinking of you all! :grouphug:
-
Hey Jen
Just had a sticky beak at your chart, have you tested for this month?
I feel like looking at other peoples charts on forums while Im waiting to ovulate or waiting to test gives me something to be excited about and something to look forward to.
Im on CD5...Sheer torture... all day i have been quite cranky seeing bloody prams and women who are pregnant but not looking after themselves everywhere! Argh! The holliday was much needed and im prepapred for moving on but im not prepared for the days where I feel like this...frustrated, angry, annoyed and impatient...
-
Hello everyone :hello:
rhichichi I totally hear you on wanting to at least be pg when others you know are announcing that they are! I was totally happy when my clients were all rocking up pg because we hadn't started ttc yet... Then we had started and the women kept rocking in telling me they were pg which I was still excited about because I thought I wouldn't be far behind... Now they are all showing and talking about it all and I have lost this one!!! So yeah I hear you... It would be nice at 'least' be pg to soften the blow!
ahhh coco you were doing so well with the happinesss thing! I too felt the ups and downs and I'm hoping that I will stay up after my chat with DH today.... we are all here for you :grouphug:
sally Ikwym about telling people I don't want to talk about them... unfortunantly I am seeing all of these woman at work so I can't be rude... I am good at telling my firends I don't want to talk about them and what they are saying is 'their' experiance and there are thousands of woman having a different experience everyday so I don't want to hear about it
AMF I had my check up today with the gyno for after the D&C... We were with her for about 30mins and Jen she did that u/s to make sure the lining was all ok. Anyway we had a huge chat with her about the waiting or not waiting to TTC thing... She did say that the only reason to wait is if you are emotionally not ready. Physically your body will not hold the pregnancy (IF you did happen to get pregnant before af) if the lining wasn't thick enough SO you would just have a period anyway and possibly not ever know you were pg unless you tested really early with a sensitive pg test. There is no way you would get pg and than miscarry again at 8 weeks (like I did) due to the lining not being ready because as I already said it would not hold for very long and you would just have your period as normal and at the same time (but maybe a little heavier). Which Sally, also makes sense to me  She also said that when you get pg and it does stick (because the lining is thick enough) it will start to grow into the placenta straight way and the risk of miscarry due to other factors (not the lining) is the same regardless. SO Dh and I are satisfied that we can ttc whenever we want.... So I hope for a bfp straight away!!!
Gosh I must really sound like I have multiple personality disorder after all my ranting over this matter... Again THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS REPLIED TO MY QUESTIONS xoxooxo :loveshower:
-
Hello everyone.
Big fat lurker, here again. This TWW is so hard! On top of that, I've had trouble getting onto BB the last few nights, and work has been awfully tricky.
I am a big bogged down today. I wanted to say to Rhi I completely understand about your ideas about your uncle's passing. Maybe this will be the sign that your forever baby is coming soon? To paraphrase Karen Van (sorry Karen!), maybe the harmony between spirit and body is moving closer?? Today is my mum's 15th anniversary, and amongst the usual torrid jumble I am in at the moment, I am also wondering whether Mum might have a hand in a new small person coming soon? I'm also trying to not over think it (hilarious coming from a cancerian!!:o) because I'm not thinking very clearly and a bit of an emotional mess. This is just my usual annual event.
:grouphug: to everyone. I'm reading along and keeping up, just really awful at replying personally to everyone. This thread is getting busier and busier ~ a fantastic support, but so not good that we all have to be here.
Take care everyone.
M
PS - nearly forgot the best part. I had a pap smear on Monday and even my dr told me I was confusing her about what I was saying about TTC, and she suggested I shouldn't be concentrating on it so much. The universe is definitely trying to tell me something - keep my head down and my thoughts to myself I think.
-
hi everyone,
i fell asleep a little after 8pm last night - I was exhausted!
Meh - hi there! sorry the tww is being so hard on you!
Cherished - my fingers are crossed you get your bfp straight away!!!!!!
coco - glad to hear the trip away did you the world of good. sorry to hear that you are having a touch one today.
Jen - you definitely need to learn to say no lol. you are one busy girl :)
Rhi - thanks for the maybe baby.. sorry to hear you are having a bad day. The amount of times that I have said to DH that I am never using any form of contraception again - I would rather 7 mistakes to 1 "trying". TTC sucks! It is such an emotional rollercoaster and m/c'ing just makes it all the harder
charm- sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. feel better soon!
sally - lol, chocolate is soooo good.. until you eat too much of it. I am trying to be good lately, but finding it hard - I love my chocolate :)
Mel - sorry to hear that things have been a bit teary for you lately. I hope that you get your bfp soon so that you have a bf smile on your face!
Hannah - I hope the medications start to make a difference soon.. and I hope the sleep deprivation eases up soon,.
brb for an asm.. i am cooking a cake and the beeper is going off
-
ok i am back. and here is my AFM :)
today i contacted sydney ivf to find out about the costs of the testing for recurrent m/c's should we want to take it any further.
it will be $1500.
we won't have to go to sydney as they can do all the testing remotely (so they would send me the referrals and I would get it done here and the test results would get sent back to them), which is good. there is only one test that we would have to go there for and the lady i spoke with said they could try to find something closer then sydney for me to get it done.
but now... to just decide if we are going to go ahead with it. I am so worried that it will come back with no issues and then we would have spent $1500 for nothing... and then the other side of the argument is that if there is something wrong then it is money well spent to find out.
we are booked in for our first lot of acupuncture this saturday - should we try that first and see if it helps before outlaying so much???? We are luckily able to afford it as we have been saving for a house and we also have savings going into a "bub fund" but i don't want to spend it (and waste that money we have saved so hard for) if there is no need for it.
does anyone have any advice, suggestions or even "if I were you" 's - im open to hear it all!
would you put all your eggs into the acupuncture basket or would you go for the full lot of testing which may not help????
I should also mention that i get 10 days of spotting before AF which I am sure is linked to the m/c's because I have gotten spotting throughout both of the last 2 pregnancies - which is what I want to see the acupuncturist for.
argh - the more i think about it the more I don't know what to do :(
-
Cherished - Glad you got a clearer answer. Like everyone keeps saying you will know what is right for you and sounds like you are really positive with your decission.
Boble - Couldn't even begin to think how you must feel. No one can teel you what to do.
I do seem to hear alot of things about these types of tests that when they come back that couple falls pregnant straight away cause they finally know what is going on, positive or negative.
Personally I'd do it but I have just started doing acupunture so maybe go with that for a month or so then do the test.
Im impatient, Id probably do everything all at once but Im into to all that stuff...
rhichichi - Im starting to realise that. SO far most people have just been happy Ive given them an out to talking about it. Nothing anyone says is right, regardless so I might as well make them feel less uncomfortable!!
Why is grief such a taboo subject??
AND EVERYONE wants to say I know how you feel but they DONT!!!!!!
ALSO
I had a dream the other night that we had a baby girl and we named her Pearl.
Someone in my dream asked me about it and I said
"they don't always form properly but when they do they are so amazing and beautiful"
THEN i realised that I think I will get AF between this weekend and next so exactly that time period in 2 weeks (fertile time) I would be on holidays in BROOME the PEARL catpital of AUSTRALIA!!!
Should I think anything of it.... :wall: AND
-
boble - I know that Where There's Hope has done the SIVFrecurrent miscarriage program, and there are probably a few other ladies around BB that have done it I think too. I don't know if WTH will see this or not, but it may be worth posting a thread about it to make sure she sees it if you want to ask some questions about it? As for the acupuncture, I tried it and it did nothing to regulate my whacky cycles, we only got results with traditional treatment, but nevertheless I still think it is probably worth a go and I think I'd do both together :) HTH!
:hello: everyone else!
-
Sally! OMG!!! That is so a sign! Fingers crossed for you and hope that month brings you some happy news and If you do get pregnant and its a girl will you be calling it pearl??
 That's so lovely and exciting! And it isnt even me!
-
coco -
It is spinning me out!!
I had a dream last time I was pregnant becuase I had what I thought was my period and didn't think I was for nearly a week after.
It makes me nervous but excited and if nothing else its given me hope and something to get me through!!
I thought I was just being silly so Im so happy you think its a sign too!!
I do kind of listen to my dreams and I think Pearl is a pretty name.
Totally new to the 'list' now,
DH is still deciding. Maybe a middle name if nothing else but it WILL be part of the name!!!
-
Hey all,
Just a quick one today - I have my great uncle's funneral this arvo.
Eliza- Hugs. I know how you feel! I have been avoiding the shops in case of bumping into pregnant people. Keep an eye out in the post should be there tomorrow.
Cherished - GL with ttc, I hope you get your bfp straight away too!
Boble - If it were me, I would probably give the accupunture a go first, but put a time limit on it (ie: 3 mths) then get the testing in Sydney done.
Meh - Had a giggle about your Cancerian comment - I am one too! hehe! It is nice to think that your mum is around, and hopefully she has something to give you?!
Sally - your dream has given me goose bumps. OMG imagine if you get your forever baby then! that would be freaky! I work with a lady who's first name is Pearl and she is just lovely....
Better go and get ready, I will try to be back later
Hello to everyone else!
-
Sooooo sorry.... been so busy again today! Always thinking and  for you all, tho! Will post tomorrow morning no matter what! :grouphug:
-
Rhi I am thinking of you today sorry to hear about your uncle.
Boble I say goodluck with natural remedies I am a huge believer In them about finding out well everybody is different and I feel the need to know everything Im not very anal lol so trust your gut and do what feels best and trust yourself that it will be the right decision.
Af has lurked again dammit twice in uhm 12 days well I am guessing this month is out so I jumped online bought more opk's and preg tests as I am spending a fortune buying them My doctor recomended physio today so I went I have had the back pain sice b4 I fell pregnant everybody said it was from the pregnancy well it isn't and I have faith in the physiotherapist he says its the vertibrae's and they are very tight so my back is in his hands and I am trying to get through each day without stressing about being TTC because it won't happen any sooner take care chat soon. for us all to be TTC soon
-
Just to let you know the final CVS results have come back all clear of chromosome problems!!! and i wanted to tell you the CVS showed we are having a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!**************. Weird to think I already know what Im having and Im only 12 weeks!!! Only good thing about having invasive testing I guess hehehe.
So seeing the genetic counsellor on Mon morn to talk about possibilities about what the fluid could mean but feeling a lot more positive atm. The Doc said that if the fluid resolved to a normal level by 20 weeks then we have a very high chance of nothing being wrong with the baby so fingers crossed! So next ultrasounds will be checking for a heart defect so still very worried and scared but trying to think how lucky I am to have an amazing little fighter still with me!!!
Sally - Thats beautiful about the dream I really hope it comes true!!
Cherished - Good lick ttc again Im so glad you feel ready to try again!!!
Coco - praying this month for a BFP for you!!!
Jen - You should be a moderator, the way you support al of us ladies is just amazing while you are still feeling the pain of loss! Thankyou soooooo much.
To everyone else - Big hugs, hoping I can bring some more positive news to tell yu all soon. xoxox

erybery - Congratulations on having a girl!:cheer::stork-girl::girl:! I'm so glad the CVS results came back with good news . I know you still have a way to go but I'm  that there is no heart defect and that your little princess is as healthy as can be.
Mel - So sorry you have been feeling down . When I read your post I wished that I lived closer to you so that I could pop round with a big piece of chocolate cake and a shoulder. But you always have a cyber shoulder if you need. Tell DH that I said he needs to give you lots of cuddles. I hope things are looking a little brighter for you today.
BBL for more persies.....Mum is here to pick me up for some retail therapy.

Hannah - Thanks for thinking of me. The chocolate cake was delicious :) If I am ever in Adelaide I will definitely look you up! Feeling a bit better each day, coming up to o so I think that helps as I am not just sitting around waiting (iykwim?). DH has been giving me lots of cuddles, I am very lucky. How are you feeling now? Hope you enjoyed that retail therapy ;)
erybery - What great news! Defintely sounds like your little girl is a fighter. that the appointment with the counsellor goes well and all the test results are are as great as the ones you just received! :goodluck:
Boble - I personally would do both but if you are unsure about the tests in Sydney maybe you give acupuncture a go for a while and decide in a month or two. Good luck with your decision
Sally - Hope your dream comes true!
charm - Hope your back feels better soon and AF eases
jen - Don't apologise for being busy, you are always here for us and should take some time out for yourself! Even though I bet you are using your time helping others! Forgot to say the other day, I remember those scratch and smell stickers. I think we are all showing our age now
rhi - Funerals are always so hard but hopefully it was a celebration of his life to provide you with some comfort.
meh - Sending some NO AF vibes!
cherished1 - Welcome back to TTC. Hope you don't have to wait too long.
Big hugs to everyone else.

erybery--I'm SO happy that your CVS results came back all clear for chrom. probs! And a little girl--I'm thrilled for you! :cheer: Saying lots of prayers for continued progress and normal test results! Best of luck on Mon. with the genetic counselor. It's truly such a blessing to see you feeling some positivity during this time! And thanks for you 'moderator' comment--what a huge compliment! :stickyvibesgirl:
andy--Sending you some AF vibes, AF vibes, AF vibes!!
megsmum--Thanks again for the link to your u/s pic! Just for future reference, I'm NEVER too down to see my fishy friend's u/s pic! It's amazing how well you can see her features when she's still inside you--technology is great!
WTH--I had to snoop to see that beautiful avi of yours! (picture a smiley shaking it's finger at you!) Isn't it about time you show her off around here?!?! ;) Besides, we need an update!
Possums--I'm glad that you finally got some answers from your test results, and that there's treatment for it. Like Rhi said, 'knowledge is power'.... it's hard to progress and be proactive when you don't even know there's a problem, so I'm relieved for you that you'll be able to continue moving forward towards a hopeful future!
Big hello's and :grouphug: for smi, charm, sally, & mrzbaby!
MO3B--Hey twinnie! You should NEVER feel worthless and insignificant! You are such a vital part of my life, and you don't even realize it! I luv you my sexy, kinky cyber twin goddess! One of these days we're actually going to get to meet each other face-to-face.... don't you doubt it!
boble--Your chart is moving along nicely! Isn't it ridiculously exciting seeing those lines on your chart? Since you asked for it, I'm going to tell you what I would do... I say go along with the testing.... I'm going to repeat again what Rhi said... "knowledge is power".... even with negative results, at least you would know for sure.... I think it's worth the money if it gives you peace of mind! *hugs*
OMG, this is taking longer than I thought! I have to get DS ready for school, so will have to finish persies later! Thinking of you all!

sally - I just want to respond to a post from a couple of days ago. I don't think grief is denied in general. But thats what makes m/c so lonely. I lost my father almost 13 years ago and people don't think anything of it if I still have days when I miss him. But with m/c, I was the only one aware of the physical presence of my baby. All our hopes and dreams for our future lives and our babies have been lost, but I don't think people understand unless they have been through it. With the loss of my dad, everything changed. With the loss of my baby, nothing changed. Except me. And people don't really understand that. One of my friends was actually more upset that I didn't tell her I was pregnant in the first place, than she was about my loss. At least we can come on BB and be among those who do understand. I hope your dream comes true
Eliza - I'm so glad you are feeling refreshed after your time away. Sometimes withdrawing from the world can be just what the heart and soul need to recover. I hope it lasts for you.
charm - I hope the physio helps with the back pain.
Rhi - I understand the feeling of being in competition to get pregnant. Especially after a loss. We've had an extra challenge(s) on our journey to getting our forever babies, that it makes it hard to hear of other people having easy, uneventful conception and pregnancies. It doesn't make us horrible and negative though. I tell myself that I am happy for them (I wouldn't wish this upon anyone) but that I'm just more sad for me and thats okay. I was thinking of you yesterday. I hope your uncle's funeral was an opportunity to celebrate his life .
cherished - I'm glad you have an answer. And what a great gyno to explain everything to you (sometimes doctors think they don't need to explain, like their opinion should be enough). It makes sense too. Goodluck sweetie. I hope you get a BFP soon.
meh - Sending heaps of :noaf: vibes your way. I hope your TWW isn't much longer.
boble - I would do both. As Rhi and jen have said, even if the testing all comes back negative, that is still useful information. If you are really unsure about spending the money, maybe give the acupuncture a go for a couple of months first.
Mel - Glad you enjoyed the cake. And I'm glad you are feeling a little better. I hope you catch that eggie this month. I came across something the other day....The 4 stages of the menstrual cycle are Menses, Enthusiasm, Optimism and Anxiety. It definitely is easier to cope during the Enthusiastic and Optimistic phases.
jen - You're so busy, I hope you are taking care of yourself too. If I have to do my homework, so do you (there's that smilie wagging a finger at you ).
Shortcake - Hope the packing is going smoothly. Moving house could be just the thing to revitalise you. A way of starting over, I guess. :goodluck:
:hello: megsmum, smi, WTH, fifi, mrzbaby, andy, possums, erybery, MO3B, Ruthie, angel1&2, babymiracles, mollycat and anyone I missed.
AFM - Still ticking along. Shopping with Mum last night was a lot of fun. She bought 4 pairs of shoes! Plus I have now completed my outfit for my cousin's wedding on Easter Saturday. I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about seeing that side of the family. Particularly since the cousin getting married is the brother of the cousin that upset me just before Christmas (not sure if some of you who were here then remember). But I will look fabulous, so what else matters? Better get back to work. Hope you all have a great Friday.
