Shan, I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling, but in the little time I've been in this thread I know you are an incredibly strong and inspiring woman. Please don't give up hope, I have no doubt that you are meant to be a mum. I have a friend that had a bub earlier this year. She and DH had all kinds of complications and had given up trying and resolved never to have a family. Low and behold they held their baby just before her 40th birthday. I trully believe the saying that "good things happen to good people".... :hug:

Mako- sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead of you and Robbie Williams.... I'm so jealous! Have a wonderful time.

Well, its 10.40am and I've just dragged my holiday loving butt out of bed... he he he. Not a great deal planned for the week, lots of R & R, catching up with my brothers and there little bubs tonight (they both have babies under 2 months old.... sooooo cute!) and a touch of shopping with my sister early in the week... look out Chadstone here we come!
I have a funny feeling my body is playing tricks on me at the moment so I wish the witch would just show up so we can "get back to it"! Not feeling to positive that we'll get that BFP this month but thats ok, DH is very excited about trying agin!! he he he.

Well for me I had the best night of my life at the Robbie Williams concert in Adelaide..... When we were pregnant we would here a song of Robbie's all the time - SIn sin (the filmclip with all the pregant ladies) so that was our baby song!! When I heard at the concert I absolutely lost it and couldn't stop crying :neutral: Crazy huh.. ...
Anyways I am 7 DPO (I think) and I have sorest (.)(.), this morning at dancing I was in agnoy!! So I am taking that as good sign because that was my first symptoms b4. So I dying to test but it is too early :P

Anyways enough of me- Please forgive me I can't remember who is testing this weekend, for those that are GL xxxxxxxxx

Tanya, good luck, I hope your news is better than mine! Now about that Xmas cheer, I won't be able to overdue it too much as O would be due just before Xmas so you don't want to go getting blotto'd just in case - I will definitely enjoy a few drinks in the next week or two though.

Sarah... I am in Shepparton... not near any fires, but it is awfully smokey!! The smell is horrible and the sky is casting an errie orange glow over everything.

Well I am pretty sure I will be out in a day or two... temp down and my body is doing a few things it does before AF... I am soooo sad :(

Oh Tanya, I am so sorry you think af is going to show but you know your body better than anyone....Still as many of the girls say pg & af symptoms are so similar sometimes that it can be hard to tell. I am thinking of temping next month for the first time - I feel I want to cover all bases in helping to conceive - doing as much as I can iykwim? Anything I should know about temping girls?

Mummyto1 - Thanks for the kind words and I'm so sorry that AF showed up for you hun, but good on you for getting straight back into it. The temping is easy, and it will really help to pinpoint ovulation. I'd suggest going into Fertility Friend and setting up a free account (it's free for the first 3 months at the full package, but after this you can pay a fee or stay free - but if you stay free then you lose some benefits, but the first 3 months is a good way to get used to it. Plus it has a great online handbook on temping and how to record your info). Then make sure you get a GOOD basal body thermometer. Digital is best and get one that goes to 2 decimal places as even the smallest change can effect your chart. Remember to temp as soon as you wake up in the morning (after a min 4 hours uninteruped sleep) and before getting out of bed, so keep it next to your bed. Also take your temp in the same place ie. orally, viginally ect..whatever suits you. That's about it really, but on Fertility friend you can get a ticker and also put in changes to cervical mucus, cervix position, when you BD, when you use and OPK, your mood and also any meds that you take....good luck with it hun, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Well...AF arrived for me in all her glory yesterday, so now it's time to make my decisions. After reading what a few of you wrote about not giving up, and talking with my DH, i'm in two minds. Maybe i could go another year and giving Mummyto1 some help with temping, it's sort of inspired me to start temping again. I haven't done it for about 6 months, so maybe i need to give it all one more shot and even considering finding a new OB down here and looking at our other option. I just want a baby so bad, and i just seem to be getting nowhere.....but thank you to all of you who keep me sane...just got love you all...xxxxxxx

I know I haven't posted in a while but just wanted to let you guys know that I think I am having a miscarriage. The bleeding started this morning and has gotten worse with cramping now. The next couple days will tell. If you want to read the rest, I wrote about it on the Pregnancy After LateLoss/Recurrent miscarriage. Thanks!! Maybe I will be back here sometime soon!!

Chepie & Mako - thanks for asking how I'm doing - I'm a pretty tough little cookie & am doing ok. You know how it is a day or two after af arrives - your spirits take a bit of a battering but you pick yourself up, dust yourself off & look forward to next month.
Missykg - OMG - I am feeling so sad for you at the moment - as if you haven't been through enough!! I am praying that your little baby can hang in there & you too for that matter - I am going to check out your post in the other thread. I am truly truly sorry & hope that things can work out. Thanks Tanya - Im still holding out hope that you will join me this month!! Well ladies, christmas is back at my house - im off today to buy a little xmas tree! I was on strike but now with this bfp I feel very festive.

Im not as stressed or anxious as I thought Id be - I feel really relaxed and ive decided to be positive and enjoy this pg from now. If it ends early well I will deal with it then, but for now I want to be happy and stress free. Ive rang the ob this morning - they will book the hospital, but I told them I dont want to see ob til Jan - so they booked me in at 8wks (Jan 8th) and then might have a scan at 9wks. Will be going to the GP over the next fortnight to get a referral but im not having bt's or anything. Ive got my regular appt with my NP on wed this week, and Ive started taking a herbal tea for fetal support. Its the most expensive but revolting tea ever!

Thanks gals for all your support and encouragement over the past year - and I really pray that each and everyone of you has your very own bfp by the new year, god knows we all deserve it.

But I will be around - Im not leaving you all just yet. Off to look for a pg ticker and will bbl for more personals.

I am soooooo excited that you will be able to pick up your warm seat in PAML as soon as you feel ready. I can't wait to share this journey with you. And I am so proud of you for embracing this pregnancy with positivity and hope. It isn't easy but I am taking the same approach and enjoying every day I have.

Just to add to the day ....*alf* is perfect so far (although the attitude still exists - wouldn't lie into position for a while AGAIN). NT came back with low risk so we are happy. Measuring to dates. OB is cynical - wants me to book in for the anomaly scan at 18 weeks. I am sure he thinks it will take more than one go ... AGAIN :D

The only time I ever had spotting mid cycle was when I conceived. I didn't want to get my hopes up for you but still did, IYKWIM - because I also know what it is like to crash and burn.

HELP!! So, I'm still not sure if my body is playing tricks but I read on another thread that you can use opk's as a hpt early on. I had a few left and thought I'd give it a crack. I beleive I O'd last Sunday which would make me 8 DPO. I tested Friday/Saturday/Sunday (keen I know!!) and all came up negative with only the control line. This arvo I did another test and got a very faint second line that got darker over time......Can this be. I haven't had af since I m/c just over 3 weeks ago and have been having af type pains since mid last week that come and go. Trying not to get my hopes up too much but does this line mean anything?? Has anyone else had a similar experience??

Not sure Susie. I've heard that you can use them but i don't know if they are one hundred percent. I'd maybe give it another day or two and do a HPT or wait until at least 12 DPO.....Fingers crossed though....i hope it's a BFP for you....sounds promising..xxxx

Hello to everyone else and I hope you all had a great weekend.

Well, I am on CD13 now and no sign of impending O yet. I think that I will wait this cycle out as planned (although of course I could change my mind at the last minute!!). I keep telling myself that this is not a good time of year to start trying as I won't be able to eat and drink whatever I want over Christmas, New Year and a wedding on 6 Jan, so it is best to wait until after the silly season. But at the same time I am itching to start trying again ASAP!!! Oh well, will see what happens. I went to my 10 year high school reunion on the weekend - so spun out to see some people after so long!
