Trying to Conceive after Miscarriage or Loss ~ December 2010

Hello and Happy Friday!

Im sorry for once again not personals. I shall improve my support once this first cycle is done and dusted.

I just have a super quick question.

I have been taking notice of my CM. So I can track my cycle that way next month and hopefully pinpoint O. All this month its been pretty steady .. no major changes. But last night (a few days out from when I could start expecting AF) I got this huge jelly like blob. Now I know a jelly consistancy is a sign of O... but this late? Before my MC my cm would be thick and kinda jelly like when I would O. But never like this. SO WEIRD. What does it mean? What is it? Why? Any info would be greatly appreciated. If i did O last night.. then we are not in with a chance... DH is on night shift. Fat chance of DTD. LOL

Tascha- I have that too. I looked it up online once and found a site that explained the stages of cm. I'll have to try to find it again. That sticky stage happens several days before it becomes more wet and slippery (fertile cm) and I am not sure but it might return to it after O. If you are waiting to O, its a sign that it's still a few days away.

I am currently on my 2nd miscarriage. We are going to keep TTC but dont know yet if we want to wait one cycle or not.

Im sorry to hear about ur loss Jessica, but welcome. We waited about 2 months after we lost the twins before we started charting etc. Well the time has come that again I dont want to listen to the news etc. Its wonderful princess mary had healthy babies but i was due around this time and just want to cry when I hear about it. Also ladies not sure if you heard on the news last night about the STUPID women who aborted twin boys coz she wanted a baby girl. That makes me and DH so bloody mad and I think she doesnt deserve children!

hi all,jessicarabe-sorry for your losses..ck08 &tascha-i find my cm can be a bit confusing at times,i keep an eye on it,but use the 'o' wee sticks as well usually i find them fairly accurate...mummydeb-there is always hope,lots of ladies have had short stays in this thread,been over 2 years for me but i've had infertility issues holding me back.you'd be due to test soon??..shan85-i've still got my baby things,i feel greedy keeping them when another baby could be getting use out of them,but i just can't part with them yet,their Matthews.I think you're very strong,brave &generous to be selling some,hugs...mummytotwo-where are you up to?...afm-testing in a few days time,if bfn, i'll ring ivf clinic & try another frozen embie transfer..i think of you all much more often than i post

Thanks Matthews Mum :) I am due for AF tomorrow, had a few tingly twinges and not sure if its AF coming or hopefully I'm UTD :) Will keep you all informed!

Right now Im just sick of this rain! Going for my 2nd driving test tomorrow!! God I hope I pass! A lil nervous! Hopefully if its raining it just means I drive a bit slower so no chance of speeding lol and try not to cross double white lines like I did last time!

If I don't get AF in the morning, going to buy some tests after my driving test and will wait a few days...at least I'll have some on me... Will try wait until I'm 30days before testing!

AFM.... af is due tues & by the way Iam feeling she will be here for sure. Don't think I've much chance of a bfp this month but time will tell.

Yay I passed my driving test!! I finally have my licence at age 27!!! Better late then never :) Couldn't be more happier! I know my lil angel was up there helping!

And still no sign of AF... going down the shops once Harley wakes up...not sure whether to get some tests or not...will be handy even if AF comes as we are TTC!

I know this might be hard for some of you ladies but I was curious how long it was after you miscarried that AF arrived. My last miscarriage I immediately got pregnant with DD so I have no idea. Thanks

Mummytotwo- FX that AF doesn't come. AF symptoms and pg symptoms sometimes feel the same, so hoping there's a BFP for you soon. I'm not due until Saturday....

MummyDeb- Congrats on your license! If I were you I would test since there are no signs of AF!

Jessica- my AF came exactly 4 weeks after my m/c. I read somewhere that it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.

AFM- Just waiting. Debating whether I will test early or wait until after AF is due if she hasn't come yet. I guess I could just be patient because I will find out eventually, but what if I could know sooner? However, a BFN would be too sad, and then not knowing if it was really neg or just too early.... or if I got an early BFP and then AF came. That would be even sadder. I think I just talked myself out of testing. lol

Jessica my AF came about 5 weeks after my m/c...It was roughly 36 days I think...

So sorry you have gone thru another m/c :( :hug: I hope that you can fall pregnant straight away and that this time your baby sticks xoxo

MummuDeb- Congrats on ur licence, 2nd times a charm but im hoping 3rd time preggers is lucky for me

AFM- I started day one of clinical placement for nursing in an aged phyic so iv i am UTD im gunna stop that quick smart (the ressies like to punch etc)
5 days til AF is ment to arrive but with the PCOS who knows. I have a clear blue pee on a stick HPT and am still resisting weather or not to test just coz of the clinical placement. The sooner the better. Doesnt feel the same as last time AF came but.... having minimal cramps etc
I wish it were friday again, tramping from frankston to flemmington sucks every day :(

Still no AF here and I never got any tests yesterday and now I'm flooded in!! We are ok where we are but can't get to the shops!! So I guess if AF is going to come then she will otherwise could be a long wait to find out if i get a BFP!!!

MummyDeb - congrats on passing your test :) :) Hoping for a BFP for you too & that you stay safe wherever you live. Can't believe the flooding going on in QLD - it is quite surreal!
