I don't know how much longer I can keep going like this. I'm running on empty. The doctors won't do a lot I had to push to get my cd21tests every month.

It's heartbreaking when I see a bfp announcement in a thread... (I know a lot of people feel like this) but jealousy is really taking a hold and life is just not as fun without my zach xx I miss him terribly.

How much longer will this go on for.

I think I'm going to give up before I get my bfp. I don't have the strength. This is eating away at me :(

Phee - what Melz said - it's not over til AF shows up. I was looking at your temps, it's probably worth you investing in a double decimal point basal body thermometer. Your temp might have gone down from a 0.56 to a 0.54 which shows up as 0.6 - 0.5 on a one decimal point. If you don't get your bfp, go to the chemist, or look online for one, it helps the charting to be more accurate (I only got one this cycle though!)

Yes, that's true. I was on the verge of buying a 0.00 decimal point one just before my BFP, but I decided to wait and there it was. So I didn't buy one. If AF shows up this time I might though. It wouldn't make much difference I don't think cause I still won't test unless AF is late anyway. My temp went up 0.1 a degree again today so who knows. I've looked at my previous 2 charts, one BFN and one BFP and the same thing happened in both of them. Really the only time I'd know is if I got a sudden spike the day before AF, as in my BFP cycle.

AFM: Zero symptoms. Temp went up again though. I have no idea. I was thinking of searching back in my BFP TTC thread to see if I had any symptoms at this stage back then. Would be interesting if I didn't have any then either!

Well, I found the thread. And I did have symptoms in the week beforehand. AF is due on Wednesday, so I'm pretty sure now that she will be coming :( But then again, this was my 'whatever happens happens' cycle, so I guess I didn't really try properly anyway :P

Shan, my FS recommended taking the clomid at night, then if you have any side effects they happen while you're asleep. I didn't have any side effects that I know of. Good luck - hope this is the sticky solution!
MummyDeb - it's only 6DPO, might even be an implantation dip... :crossfingers: for a nice rise again tomorrow.
MM - :pray: for you in this cycle! Keep up with the acupuncture and I sincerely hope this FET is the one!
Pheebee - as they say, every pg is different, just keep your fingers crossed and be MUCH stronger than me when it comes to poas!

Thanks for the words re the internet cheapies. I've kinda put it down as an, "oh well" test rather than a definite. Just had some (.)(.) tingling again, so we shall see, that's not a PMS symptom for me, they're all abdo. I'll just hang out til Sat, then if it is -ve, there's always next cycle. I'm happy to wait for the perfect one, and it WILL happen.

AF is not playing nice now, day 5 so just took clomid and AF is heavy now (which is a big pain in the bum as we r leaving for melbourne soon)
will it go with the clomid?

WBM: Yeah, I'd put anything before the day before AF down as an "oh well" test, especially cheapies! Knowing that for me a FRER didn't even work until AF was due means I don't trust anything less, lol

Shan: Uh oh! No idea about clomid, sorry, but I hope it leaves soon!

Hmmm temp is right up again. But that happened in my BFN cycle as well as my BFP cycle, so still no idea!!

Temps really helped me to figure out when I was going to be ovulating. I know that FF doesn't put a crosshair on until after 3 temp rises, which is 3 days after O (Really helpful!) but if you can see a sudden spike that sometimes helps, or if you know vaguely around what CD you will O you can be on the lookout and DTD just in case. Now that I've done it a couple of times I know that my O day is usually CD12, so I DTD from CD10 onwards.

Phebee- have you paid for ff? Is the upgrade version any better?

No, I haven't paid for FF. I just do the basic charting. I figured when I was trying before that if that month I got a BFN, I might sign up, but then I got a BFP. Now that I know I can get a BFP without paying, I don't think I'll bother, lol :P

Awesome so it still tells you the basics. Awesome. Bring on either (preferred!-bfp) a bfp or af so I get get this next cycle underway!!! I think dh will miss my eggy as he works away! :(

I have just basic FF atm and finding it pretty good, I have paid for it in the past,and will only do so if I have extra $$ to spend!

My temp went back up again this morning so dunno if it was implant or not but had heaps of creamy cm...

7 days till testing...sure hope it goes fast!!

I paid for 90 days about 10 days ago and I really don't think it adds a hell of a lot, there is a lot more analysis and a lot more tools, but if you're like me, that just means a lot more over-analysing and obsessing. The basic is fine.
Melzi - I reckon temping helps. It means you know how good your LP is etc. I used opks for the first time this cycle and it was nice to have something that told you before you o'd.
pheebee and MummyDeb, temps are looking good!

AFM, we had a shocker of a night last night, DS isn't 100% (Again) and cried for so long! I just know my temp is out. I didn't sleep very long and I woke up with the doona off and half of me was freezing! Hopefully it increases tomorrow again, but I'm really starting to think that it'll be another bfn cycle. I can't complain. It took us 12 months to get a beautiful, wonderful, amazing little boy, 1 month to get an angel. I'll wait the 12 months if it means another beautiful, wonderful child.

Thanks ladies. I think I'm going to temp for a little bit how do you interpret a chart ? What are your temps supposed to do! Can someone tell me the basics as I don't fully understand. I know you take your temp every day as soon as you wake up. What if you wake up early one day? Confusing. Lol

Hey Melzi, it's worth doing the FF course, it's free too, they email you the "lesson" every day and it tells you all the info re temping, checking your CM and other secondary signs if you want to. The very basics are:
Take your temp as soon as you wake up every day (preferably at the same time), before you get out of bed.
If you wake up early or late one day, just enter that time on your chart, if it's more than an hour outside norm (30 mins either side), FF will make it an open circle and I guess it doesn't get factored in exactly the same way.
Your temp should stay relatively stable until after O, where you will see a sharp rise. It'll then stay stable until AF where you see a drop back to your pre-O temps. Have a look at some of the charts the girls have on their links - or just look through the chart gallery on FF.

Temping will help pinpoint O retrospectively, but doesn't help you time your BDing. Monitoring CM does that though! What it will do is help you look at the different phases of your cycle and see how long they are. For example on a 29 day cycle (yours), if you have a textbook LP, you should see O around CD15. But if you're O-ing at CD20, your LP is short which will give you more info and help you when you talk to your dr.

I'm going to test again tomorrow (like anyone doubted it), and hope the line gets darker. I'm definitely getting bloods done this pg, I didn't last time - and I'm going to be the nagging, paranoid patient and insist on an early scan at 6-7 weeks to see a heartbeat.

Oh I will be the same hun if I am pregnant, I want a scan done as early as I can and will have bloods done, I don't think we will be able to relax fully, although must try for bubs sake! I reallly am praying we will be belly buddies, would so love that!!

What will be your due date?

Af is due for me Sun/ Mon & if being a total monster mum/ cranky pants was a symptom of being pg I'd be convinced I was but alas alak I don't think it is a common symptom ;) I have given up trying to guess. Why are af/ early pg symptoms soooooo similar!!
Anyway, fingers still xd for those us us nearing the end of the 2ww & hope good things are in store for those starting new cycles. BBL gals.

I am currently wondering if maybe I have caught the egg after all. Temps are good and in the last few days I've had increased CM, constpation and lots of pimples around my lips and nose. Plus yesterday I kept getting hungry about 1-2 hours after eating meals which normally keep me going a lot longer. No sore nipples though, which was the telltale last time. Who knows? AF is due on Wed & I'm so tempted to test on Monday, even though last time I didn't get a BFP until the day AF was due! Might buy some FRERs today!

Ooh hope so melzi! I'm not feeling that great myself. Stomach kinda feeling off all day. Like I'm hungry but it also makes me put off eating & feel like I should burp but I don't actually need to. I'm pretty sure it's the same feeling I had last time with my BFP.

Sounding positive for all of us! Well FF changed my O day from CD16 to CD19 which means its good cos i got extra BDing in hehe :) So will wait and see what happens...I didn't expect that to happen this morning, I strongly remember the pains I had on the Saturday morning and we got 2 lots of BDing action in lol...fingers crossed we caught the egg this time!! :)

I got some FR tests yesterday - lol, just after I got off here and the line was immediate. Not as dark as the control, but really obviously positive. Same this morning. Yay! AF would be due tomorrow, so I'll retest mid-week and have made an appointment to see the doctor on Friday for a BT. I figured that'd be long enough to see a good rise in hcg on bloods and I can bully her into letting me have a 6-7 week scan.

Sounds like things are looking awesome in here! But oh, how annoying, when you're editing, you can't see the other posts. Pheebee and Melzi - those symptoms sound awesome, when is test day? MummyDeb - the change in O day certainly gives you more BDing! Afm- well I'm cd28 today... And af rolled up. Perfectly on time. Got up this morning to do a test... Collected the 'specimen to test lol' and wiped... Blood. At least it saved me a test huh? Ahh well maybe this cycle will be the one for me? Up to cycle 7 now!

No I haven't tested, I think it would be too early, but I'm very tempted. I will hold out until first thing tomorrow morning. Symptoms aren't so strong today but I have a mild headache and I'm quite tired. Thanks for asking :)

ok im very grumpy and just almost threw one of my residents onto the toilet. AF is STILL HERE (day 7) and isnt letting up. Day 3 of clomid and i bet its not going to go away ;( anyone got any advice??

Melzi, I was so sorry to hear AF showed up, you're amazing to be able to look on the bright side so quickly. I think I was like that with DS, hence why I was able to not test until 14DPO with him, I was convinced we were going to be having IVF. Lucky number 7 coming up for you!

Well it's a BFN. But my temp is still up. It could go either way really. When I was pregnant before I tested on CD 23 and got a BFN then 2 days later AF didn't show & when I tested the next day, I got my BFP. Still waiting...

Well I'm extremely tired after a bit of a day out, didn't do anything over the top..also have this strange metalic taste going on, don't wanna get my hopes up... u wouldn't think i would have symptoms this early lol!!

Just wish I could test already!! With O being put forward I've gotta wait a few more days to test which is a bugger!

Well I went through most of the day after testing thinking about how my symptoms seems to have disappeared and maybe my BFN was right. But then I went to Curves this afternoon and was getting high heart rates quickly and without working as hard as usual. The only time that's happened before is when I was UTD before. The instructor, who I am friends with now too, knew about my previous pregnancy & miscarriage, so when I said my heart rates were making me suspicious of 'take two' (as I'm now calling it), she said 'yeah your eyes made me think you might be', cause they've got dark circles under them and are a little red in the inner corners. One even feels bruised. They are probably a result of what I will now describe:

I had a headache for about 24 hours pretty much. It started about 10:30am yesterday and I didn't have any Panadol. I finally had ONE Mersyndol last night, just before going to sleep. I slept like a log but woke up totally exhausted and my headache was back. I spent the whole morning feeling totally exhausted and just wanted to sleep. On the way to work, I picked up some Panadol and had some straight away. 2 hours later it finally worked, after I visited my first 2 students and taught them in a headachey/sleepy daze. I also had some coffee just before the 2nd one which might have helped.

So if I'm not UTD, there's something wrong with me! But as I said, no other symptoms. BB & nipples don't hurt at all and they sure did by now last time.
