Shan - I never had any early symptoms either. I just expected AF to turn up. I was speaking to a g/f and she asked how my cycle was going and I said - hmm I think I am around CD31 and she told me to go and test, so I did and was shocked to see a feint second line. So don't rule yourself out because of no symptoms. I have everything crossed for you.
nope no temping trying not to get o serious our RE said after 3 cycles of not using anything to come see him for more clomid, my first 2 angels were natural, next 2 angels 3rd cycle clomid each, Jack was 2nd cycle, so most likely even with clomid it would take a cycle or 3:
if we didn't catch the :fertilise: yes I will be disappointed but not devastated as jack is only 3 1/2 months :lol:

I am now 4DPO and just waiting for another week to pass. DD #2 was sick with the stomach flu last night so now I'm just waiting for the rest of us to get it. The 2WW is awful!! I'm trying to stay busy and trying not to think that it will happen this soon after a miscarriage but you never know!! Hope everyone that I missed is doing good and I'll catch you next time!!

Jane - I keep sleeping through the day, so I haven't been out yet to pamper myself or do anything really. But I fully intend to go to bed sometime around midnight tonight and hopefully get myself back into a normal sleeping pattern. I've decided to keep an online journal, as I really can't stand writing lol (typing is so much quicker and easier), and I am trying to keep my vents in my journal. In the last three days I have been returning phone calls that I have been putting off for weeks, so I feel better about that too. What's a colour reading? Is that like an aura reading or something else? I need to get out more, don't I? lol

Well i won't keep you in suspence any longer. I've tested this morning (yes, early, i know) but it was a negative. I think i knew deep down that it was, although i had a very REAL dream last night that i tested and it was positve. :frown:
I wanted to get in early to let you know coz i'll probably spend the morning in bed (but right now i can't sleep), plus i'm heading home tomorrow until the 21st, without DH, which will be very hard, but he'll come and pick me up next weekend, so i'll be unable to get to a computer and wanted to spend my last day with you girls for support.
Thanks for all your well wishes etc, it means so much to me. I think i'm gunna take some time out for a while, i'll be around, but i don't know if i'll post too much. You girls are my rock so i can't disappear althogether......

Shan, I am so sorry you got a bfn - we all know what it is like when you see the 1 line when you want 2 more than anything else in the world. As hard as this ttc journey has been for you I am confident you will come out the other end with a beatiful bubba in your arms - you just have to hang in there.I understand you wanting to disappear for a while so take any time you need but know that we all here for you. Bigs hugs to you & DH & as the others say it aint fully over until the witch arrives. Enjoy your holidays, have some wine & psych yourself up for next time....

Oh CRAP Shan!!!!! I so hoped this was it for you! I know what it's like to always tell yourself you won't be disappointed but that is such a crock of crap and almost impossible to achieve!
I understand your need for time out-- it does all get to be too much at times. I found when I got bfn's and after my m/c's I (and DH) gravitated toward our childless and single friends for some GOOD TIMES (nice dinners, ****tails,late nights, spontaneous plans,etc) and that really helped me to not think about things for a while. In fact after my last m/c I gave away all my pregnancy mags and a couple of maternity dresses I'd been given and I felt quite cleansed when we came back to TTC again. It felt like more of a fresh start and less like "here we go again"!
I'm thinking of you and your DH and know you are probably again mulling over those options you were alluding to a few months ago. Just wanted to let you know that my good girlfriend and her hubby who tried for two plus years before trying any options are just about to have their first bub-- they fell on their very first cycle of IVF. They had completely unexplained infertility and this was the first option they took up.
Wish I was there to give you big hugs and if I wasn't in my current condition to partake in some Mai Tai's (the world's yummiest ****tail!!) with you!

Shan, im so sorry you didnt get that second line today sweety, but maybe, just maybe its a bit early. I had one of those dreams in December, and a few days later, it was a bfp. I will still be keeping it all crossed that af doesnt arrive, but for now take care of yourself and emjoy your time with your family. Sending you hugs and baby dust always,

Hope - gotta love ya. It's like you can read my mind. It will be nice to get away, although it is going to have it's moments i think. I'm going to stay with my bro & SIL who have a 5mth old bubba. My SIL's bro is going to be there over the weekend too and they have a 9mth old bubba. One of my best friends who lives accross the road has a 4mth old bubba and my other best friend who lives up the street has my special little girl (along with 3 others as well) who has just turned 1 in sept and is pg with her 5th...I wanted to stay with my bro coz it's very close to my friends, but now i'm thinking maybe i should just go and stay with my mum, but i love all those babies to bits and i haven't seen them for a while, so i want to spend as much time with them as possible IYKWIM...plus if i suddenly went to stay with mum they woudln't understand coz i've told them all that we're not TTC anymore and they'll just think i've cracked it with them. Oh the dilemas in my life...i guess i'll see how it goes when i get there. I can always go to mums if i need to.

I'll try my hardest to get to a computer somewhere along the line. Both my friends have PC's so we'll see what happens. Unfortunately it's only a small country town so there is no such thing as an internet cafe and i don't even think the library has one. Actually in the 19 years i lived there i don't think i ever stepped foot into the library...how bad is that!!!! BUT if anything does change in my situation (except for getting AF) then i'll jump on or get DH to jump on for me to let you all know.

Belinda im glad you have started the journal i hope it is helping you feel better even in a small way... I hardly slept the night b4 last and had to babysit yesterday i kept myself awake all day didnt have a nana nap at all and STILL couldnt sleep last night ARGH!!! I think i got to sleep at 2ish but woke up all the time, got out of bed at 12:30 so now i will have trouble again tonight IM OVER IT!!!!!!!!!! Are you a teacher Belinda?? Well i havnt got a cover line but with all the bad sleeping my temps have been affected so i change a few temps by .1 ie went from 36 to 36.1 and got a coverline way earlier then when i had my oing symptoms so i removed them and went back to the old ones so will wait and see... In some ways i really want to have oed when we dtd and then i think NO you dont want to have yet....

Thanks Kez. DH is fine. He know's i tested this morning, but i've kept pretty much everything else quiet...ie. as to when i'm Oing etc. Although i do make him feel my boobs every night as soon as they start getting sore (usually about the week before AF arrives) to see if they feel 'heavier' or bigger..hehehe
I noticed a tiny bit of brown smudgies when i went to the toilet before, so i'm guessing she's not far away...now it's just a bummer that she'll show up whilst i'm away. Oh i can never win...

Wow!! Pretty slow here today! How is everyone doing? Not any time for personals because we went shopping today and I'm pooped!! I'm now on 6DPO and trying to wait patiently(not one of my finer qualities). Having some 2WW symptoms but they are also very likely PMS symptoms. I am having lots of creamy CM, sore bbs, heartburn and very tired. I also get these right before AF so not going to think they are symptoms until I get a BFP!! I want to follow in Cilmum's footsteps!!

It's so quiet in here, I guess I'm not the only one that hasn't been around :)
Jane - How did your colour reading go? I went to a psychic fair about 6mths ago and had my aura photographed and it showed angel wings behind my left shoulder watching over me. I thought it must have been my grandmother as I have been told before that she is following me in life. The photo was taken about a month before I conceived, so maybe I should have another photo and I will be pregnant again.
My work situation is a long story kinda...I left my job about 6mths ago. I was due for a long service break anyway, and we had just moved back to Sydney and I was driving 80kms each way to work each day and was taking Clomid and was completely stressed and decided to take a career break. Then my next cycle worked so I figured why look for another job when I'm going to be a SAHM anyway. Then the miscarriage happened, then there was Christmas and we are going away in February for 3wks, so I plan on getting back into the workforce in March, but my DH just wants me not to worry about it, because he thinks I will be UTD by then - so who knows. Most days I am extremely bored, however I have been reading lots and lots of books. I think all this spare time hasn't helped with my weird sleeping habits either. 3 nights this week I didn't go to bed at all, I just stayed up and read. How are you going with your sleep?
Shan - I hope you are having a relaxing time away and that AF has left you alone.

As for me, it looks like AF has finally left me after 25 days! - yay - now I just have to start OPK's as I have no idea when or if I will O.

HI girls very quite in here......
I havnt had reading yet its Tuesday arvo....... Yeah sleep still bad i go to bed about 12-1 sleep for 4 hrs or so then toss and turn for the rest of the sleep until i either get up at 8 to babysit or sleep to lunchtime on and off, then im a zombie all day my plan is as of tonight its bed at 10:30 and up at 8 so i can get ready to go back to work at the end of the month.. Doing a lot of babysitting the next 2 weeks so keeping busy will be good.... Sorry that your sleeping isnt getting any better... A holiday will be good for you where are you going?? We go away at end of March leave on the 30th (my birthday) drive for 4 hrs or so and stop for the night somewhere (just brought a new tent yesterday) then onto Merimbula for a week in a apartment then take our time home have 4 days to get back home for Andrew to work....... Hey you will so not need a job you will be pg and so will i we can be belly buddies together.....
Well on ttc front i thought af had arrived last night had some spotting but nothing today!! I think by my signs of cm and o pains i oed Sat/Sun maybe Monday at latest, but as i have been having bad sleeps i havnt trusted my temps and ff have given me no coverline.. So im hoping a little bit that it was a implantation bleed i didnt have that last time so wait and see.. I will test in a week and half if af hasnt arrived i didnt get a BFP until 15dpo last time so if im right im about 6/7dpo at the moment......

This is my first post so bear with me while I work it all out. DH and I have been TTC since May 2006 and had a miscarriage (D&C) on 19/12/2006 (would have been 10 weeks). Haven't had AF yet and are TTC straight away. We were sad but staying positive - at least we know we can conceive.
Not sure if I should be trusting my temps and CM at this stage but according to FF, I am 3DPO. Will wait and see, not getting hopes up. Hoping to be UTD this year.

As for me I had my appointment on Thursday and as I thought my fs has recommended that dh and I try IUI in the next couple of months. It has taken a couple of days for dh to talk about this and tell me how he feels. I now understand that he is ok with this next step and we just need to save some money to get the wheels in motion. Maybe this will be around March. Anyway atleast I know that we have a plan in place and have something to look forward to:)

Hi Tinsel i know how you are feeling at the moment i had my D & C on Friday 22nd Dec i had started bleeding on Sunday 17th but had tried to go natural we were 11 weeks but our baby was an angel at 8 weeks.... We were meant to be waiting until we had one af but got carried away.. I just played a bit with my temps cos i know i had bad sleeps and put them back to what i had when i temped last time only dropped them .1 or .2 naughty i know but oh well got my coverline the day i think i oed anyway so all good makes me 6dpo so a little early for implant but who knows just a wait and see game....
LOL at having same b'day ill be 26 cant believe ill be 26 feels weird.. I hope to utd by then cos i always said i wanted to be married and have had a child by the time i was 26 NOT MARRIED and no kids yet but would be nice to have one on the way...

We are heading off on Sun 4 Feb and stopping to see family in Wagga for the night then on to Mt Buller for 3 nights, Melb for 2 nights (so we can go to the ODI Cricket First Final at the MCG) then along the Great Ocean Road for a few nights then staying a week at Mt Lofty, SA then we have 5 days to do what we want and make our way home. I hope all the places we have booked into are still there, with all the bushfires around!

I had a giggle about your last post. There have been so many BFP's in here since I started posting in this thread that I forget half the time what is going on, and I'm sure I will slip up the same way. I swear I lost half of my brain cells when I was pregnant and they haven't come back - I'm so vague these days.
Great holiday Belinda... The only one you might have trouble with is Mt Buller the fire is only a km or so from it so you might need to check on that one... Great ocean road is great i live 45mins inland from Lorne and 1hr from Apollo Bay i used to work at a bakery in Lorne when i studied drove down and back each day.... You will have a great time good chance to relax and enjoy some babymaking time hopefully...

Thanks for you lovely thoughts. Our baby was also an angel at 8 weeks but we didn't found out until the ultrasound at 10 weeks. The Ultrasound lady was upset because the woman before me also had an angel baby. She was supposed to be 12 weeks. So upsetting.

Me, I am right around O time, still not sure - will see what FF says in a day or 2. Have had a bit of a tough time bd'ing this month - DP & I just seem to be on different wavelengths this cycle - soooo frustrating when you know you should be bd'ing but don't necessarily feel like it. Has anyone else ever experienced this???
Who knows, have still had a few (hopefully) well timed bd's so pls pls pls let me have caught that eggie this month.

Mummyto1 - get off the computer & get thee in bed for some more bd'ing!!! I want you getting a nice fat baby belly! I know what you mean re DP & different wavelengths - we were too last time because I was so keen to dtd to conceive but not really in the mood for it iykwim. But we persevered, went at it twice a day for a week & I put a couple of pillows under my hips each time for about 20 mins & finally we got our BFP. Phew! 'Cause I really didn't want to have to do it that much again next month LOL
Kez - how far along are you now? Do you have an ob or what care are you opting for?

As for me, well, no, it's not really sunk in yet, although we've told our parents & BIL & SIL. We won't be telling anyone else for a while yet. I just want to sit with it for now. I haven't been to or booked appt with Dr. Don't really see the point. If this one's a sticky it's all good & they can take bloods at my first antenatal appt at 10 weeks. If it's not a sticky, well I'm sure Mother Nature will let me know. But that won't happen again. No, this one feels good. I'm peeing every hour, no other symptoms yet. Had a schizo attack this morning (that's happened every pg a couple of days after af was due) - at least we knew why this time! LOL

IUI is Intrauterine Insemination. You can either use dh's sperm or donor sperm. In my case it will be dh's as his little swimmers are very strong. I am feeling ok with all of this atm but I'm sure as it becomes closer I will be a little more nervous.
Missbelinda I'm glad you've had a giggle at my expense lol. I have got so much going on atm and so many pregnant bellies here too, it's no wonder I got all confused. At least we can all laugh about it. I hope you have a fantastic holiday.

OK-Only 4 more days til testing!! I am trying not to get my hopes up because I'm just not feeling it. But I've been wrong before. Only 2 lines will tell in a few days. Thurs will be 13DPO and it should be fairly accurate then. Is a slow rise usually good? Someone please check out my chart and tell me what they think!! It's been very quiet in here so I hope everyone is busy DTD and catching eggies!!!
Your chart is looking pretty good Missy. I am no expert (am onto my second month of charting) but elevated temps is the way to go. I was also reading on thw web that the 7-10 dpo temp drop is a myth - many women who are pg don't have a dip & many women who AREN'T pg DO have a dip - go figure!?!? As you say though, only time will tell so I am wishing you lots of luck for Thursday!!
