Hello Everyone!
Forshelby- When are u getting blood test results?? oh actually u have drs appointment tomoro hey?? i hope it goes alright! Let us know!
Loops- Ooooh i hope ur UTD! It sounds promising! If ur not already tho i hope u will be after these couple of days! :)
Clairesmummy- So when r u testing? Tomoro or sunday?? My fingers are crossed for u!!
Minnie- Yay that af finally showed up! I found my first one last month after m/c was awful.. really really heavy and painful.. Hope urs settles down in the next couple days. Woohoo for cd1!!! :)
Matthewsmum- What day did u O on last cycle?? Hopefully you have Oed and u can go straight ahead with the FET :)
Possum- Oh i hope its all over in the next few days.. u poor thing :( and then i hope af arrives 1 month later (if she has to come at all!) Thinking of u x
Hi Alice- Yes do a ticker! :)
Bons- Im thinking the same.. if im not pg by sept im going to look into IUI.. i got really excited googling all about it this arvo.. It feels like i am taking control of the situation.. rather then just wasting my life away waiting waiting waiting! Have u looked into it at all?? Hopefully we dont need to discuss any other options tho.. FX!
Hello to everyone else!
AFM- Well i have still been very lightly pinking today so i really really think af shld be here tomoro.. I have never had spotting for so long before af tho.. its weird.. but then again i have only had 3 normal afs since may last year.. so i wldnt really know! Im not feeling crampy or anything yet tho.. it will probly all hit me tonight while im sleeping! Like i was saying to Bons I started googling all about IUI (artificial insemination) this afternoon and am thinking if im not pg by sept i am defintely going to look into it.. it just feels good to have something to move towards (even tho i really hope it doesnt come to that tho) I was feeling so down and sad today and it kinda brightened up my mood! :)
If af hasnt come in full flow by tomoro i will still test just to be on the safe side.. but yeah dont think theres ANY CHANCE!!!
Speak to u all over the weekend! :) xx
-
Reet hope you get a big surprise tomorrow and its a BFP - theres always a chance till AF is here :p
thanks for sharing your story i think your amazing - it cant be easy at all when your sis has thrown away what you want so bad. do you think she will regret it later on in life?
-
Hey Kellie! I really thought she wld end up regretting it but now from the way she speaks etc i dont think she will.. i think she knows she made the best choice.. its actually put her off having kids for a long time! I was even warning her before she had the procedure that she might cry for days after just with the hormone drop and everything else cos thats exactly how i was.. but nope! nothing! she was happy! I cldnt believe it.. but it did help me to realise that she made the right choice. I also started thinking how much harder i wld find it for her to be pg for the last 6 months and for me not to be... selfish i know. It REALLY annoys me when ppl dont use contraception and end up having to terminate pregnancies because of it.. i think thats also why i was pushing her into keeping it.. but hey its her life.. she has defintely learnt her lesson now. My older sister had a m/c a couple weeks before i did too.. (she was on the pill but was lazy with it) but no1 really knew she was pg.. she didnt even know for sure herself until she was going thru it. Her partner was really abusive tho so if she had had the child it defintely wldnt have been good! So basically our parents lost 3 grandchildren in a matter of 2 months! And i was the one that REALLY REALLY wanted it but it got stolen from me.. it sux!! Anyway enough about my CRAZY FAMILY!!! haha
How are u going?? cramps gone??
-
Loops - Hope you caught that eggie! Sounds like good timing to me, hun :) Hope you don't get too sick... seems everyone is sick atm! IRL and on here. *touch wood* I've managed to avoid any flus this year.
Clairesmummy - Lol @ the dear diary comment. There's nothing wrong with a bit of me-ness, that's how we get to know all about you. We all have our dear diary moments, lol. That's what this place is for. Sharing, and supporting eachother. I'm not referred to as wise very often, so I'm going to savour that compliment for a while. :) hehehe... All your symptoms are ringing alarm bells for me! Taste in mouth.. check. Tired, check. Fluey, check!!! :D I have everything crossed for you!
Matthews mum - Oh yes, I LOVE Friday night sleep. It's the best sleep of the week. Longest possible time before having to get up early for work.. lol. Yes, it's pretty clear my party animal days are behind me if I'm looking forward to going to bed on a Friday night. Alas... I think I might indulge in some light knitting before bed as well :o. How are your bt's going? When's the next FET?
Reet - Doctors appt is tomorrow just before 11am. I'll update you all afterwards. Hoping for good news, and a reassuring confirmation that my numbers are HIGH and STRONG! IUI sounds like a step in the right direction, but I hope you don't have to take that step at all. Hopefully this mysterious pinking (I love that my wacky terminology is such a hit and catches on in here) is implantation! Remember you don't have to have a bunch of symptoms to be pg. I still have pretty minor symptoms at this stage. The big ones are feeling dizzy and off-balance, super tired all the time, and the vague nausea is increasing. Oh, and let's not forget the copious CM. LOL.. sorry for TMI there, but it's true. It's like a slip n slide, girls. Someone get the tarp! :D I'm also really chuffed all my nagging worked and that you just might test. Now I hope you get two lines or I'll feel like a bugger. Good luck! Thinking of you!
AFM, No sooner do I beg the universe to dish out some real ms, did it hit me. Or at least I think it hit me. I was surfing around on the net.. when all of a sudden I felt too crummy to even read without feeling like chucking. We went out to pick up chinese for dinner (an old favourite for me) and I actually felt carsick. I found a fizzy drink helped since it made me burp. lol.. the things that help are strange! Anyhoo, DP says to me "just because you're pg doesn't mean you're disabled." I could've thumped him one. Then he proceeded to fart and leave me in the car with the smell! OMG :o I was horrified..... yet slightly amused. I told him he'd better watch out cause I'm farting for two these days, and I just might introduce him to some of my own brand. Oh the laughter... we laughed the whole way home. That was SO TMI but I hope it gave you all a good chuckle anyway. I might as well leave my dignity at the door, right? It's about to disappear over the coming months anyway.... might as well get used to it.
Long story short I still haven't physically been sick yet, but I thought I might just before. I am able to hold it back though so I will as much as I can. I still have the jibblies though in my tummy.......... blerrrghhhh. Perhaps some knitting will soothe me.
-
reet-last cycle i o'd on day20 ,had bt this morning,i should get a phone call tomorrow morning with results .I agree with kellbell, not over till she's here...forshelby-my veins have been behaving themselves this time round,bt have been a lot easier, they've been able to get it 1st needle each time.fet will be 5 days after 'o' is detected...
-
Reet: i have this for you :noaf:
Matthewsmum: im not actually going through IVF as such,i will have clomid and i am going to be treated like i have had ivf ie clexane and progesterone pessaries. i am seeing a gynae and ob dr (dr Raouf Farag). i think you must live a bit further north to me from the bits and pieces you have said
forshelby: good luck for tomorrow !
-
minnie - yay for af, pity about the timing though, hope you feel better soon. g/l in your weight loss too. sorry i missed your post, I have developed a habit of doing that lately.
matthews mum - you must be a pro at it now :) I nearly fainted during my bts on monday, spots before my eyes.. eeewww. how do you get through it? hope you o soon then!
Reet - Reeeeeeeetttttt....... what's happening Reeeeeeet... LOL. :)
AFM, Nervous about the doctor this morning. In just over an hour I'll know if things are looking ok for now. Argh.
-
morning all,minniemouse-after dr wallman moved interstate,i started seeing dr farag(i found him nice, very popular)i went through 5 cycles of clomid with him...forshelby-be watching for your dr update..afm-clinic just rang ,my levels are still really low, need to have bt on monday, but their talking about cancelling transfer this cycle if bt on monday doesn't show a big jump in levels
-
Hi Lovely ladies
Forshelby ~ Thanks hun, I hope so :). I know that down here in Gippy there is a flu going around like wildfire and its a bad one too. Ive had the flu shot and still managed to get it. FX you dont get any.
Thanks for the laugh, its great to hear couples having lots of laughs together. Those days are the best. Hope the MS doesnt get too bad.
Clairesmummy ~ Hi and wishing you all the best, hope AF doesnt show up and you see those magic 2 lines!
Matthewsmum ~ thanks heaps hun! GL with your FET, :crossfingers: this is the 1 for you!!
Reet ~ Thanks so much - im kinda a lot more positive lately that it could happen naturally, esp since seeing my uncle recently who is a naturopath, he's pretty positive we'll get there soon by sticking on the herbal tablets he's given us, here's hoping! I hope there is a chance you are pg too, FX and GL hun.
Minniemouse ~ Hi. GL with the weight loss and Im happy for you that AF finally arrived for you, I know how frustrating that wait is, I was about the same. GL with everything.
Hi Kellbell, Bons, Dory, Iona, Possum and anyone else ive missed and I hope you are all well. GL wherever you are at!
AFM today ~ Feeling a bit quesy this morning but that could also just be because of my cold. DTD again last night - so here's hoping that if Im not already pg, that last night or night before did the trick ;). My nipples are still sore as well and Im only at CD21. My cycles are usually around 34days, hence the reason I usually O about CD19. Oh and my temp is at about 36.8 so pretty high I guess.
-
Quick update, back later for persies.
Bt's came back all good. HCG is at 2200... above the average for 5 weeks. That means I'm either a few days ahead of what I thought I was, or bubby is just making his/her presence well and truly known. Yay for good numbers. At almost 8 wks when I mc I was only at 3900.
:) Going out to celebrate now with some light shopping. Hehe..
Oh and I'm going for a scan sometime next week. I didn't even have to ask! He just said next thing is a scan, and told me to call them on Monday. HOORAY! I hope we see a good HB. :)
Take care everyone, back later.
-
forshelby - that is great levels, so glad that dr sent you for a scan without you pressuring him
Loops - FX that this is your cycle!!
matthew's mum - here's hoping that your bt are great on monday and transfer can still go ahead
Reet - how did you go this morn is there still no af??
Hi to everyone I have missed, my computer is being slow and I don't have the patience for it
AFM - did another HPT this morn but with confirm....the line is there!! have a lil back ache but I feel queasy all the time, at the moment I think my lunch is going to come back up!!
-
forshelby: great news your news are climbing and even better news you will get to have a scan soon, did you see the same dr this time ?
Loops: good luck for you this cycle, sounds like you are in with a chance, do you do opt's ? i usually find my nipples are sore from ovulation until af arrives
matthewsmum: did you have any luck with the clomid when you were seeing dr farag ? i hope your next blood tests shows your levels are increasing
Iona: great news your line is there and you are getting symptoms
afm af is very light, even during the m/c is very light, so im thinking that maybe my lining isn't building up enough and that may be why the 3 pregnancies didn't stick, does anyone know a way to make it thicker, does those herbs maca etc help. the chinese medicine lady i saw gave me herbs to drink but try as i might i just can't, i'd be much better off with a tablet to swallow, what do you girls think ?
-
Forshelby ~ Excellent news, so happy he/ she is going strong!! Enjoy the shopping
Iona ~ Thanks heaps. Sounding very positive, GL hun! Hoping that line stays around.
Minniemouse ~ Thank you, hope its not just my body being stupid again. Quite likely as it has been since my m/c. I have a Maybe Baby which works out cheaper but occasionally do the OPT's. I dont normally get sore nipples until a couple days before AF but I guess there is a 1st time for everything. Interesting to know. Tablets I reckon are always so much easier than liquid stuff. Not too sure on the lining stuff but good luck hun! Does kinda make sense that that could be why.
-
Matthews mum - I hope they don't cancel your transfer.... FX for a big jump in your levels by Monday!
Loops - Glad you enjoyed my silly story. I can't believe you still got the flu even after having a shot! Hopefully your herbs work for you and you're utd soon, if not NOW!
Iona - I'm glad too about the scan, Can't wait to get a picture of our LO. I said to DP that we need to get a baby album so we can start if off with an ultrasound pic. He thought that was a nice idea. So far so good, feeling pretty positive for now. It's so good that you got another decent + this morning... it's comforting to watch that line get darker. Try not to worry about the backache, it seems to be normal as far as I can tell. I'm getting it on and off, but my nausea is so vague it's annoying. Only seems to really hit me around dinner time. And we're going to a friend's place for dinner tonight.. :o Luckily they know I'm pg, so I don't have to hide any blech feelings I'm having. Can I have some of your queasiness though?? I would feel so much better with some good solid 'ew' moments. LOL. When are you heading to the doctors and getting bt's etc done?
Minnie - Yep, I saw the same doctor. I think I'm starting to warm to him, actually. He's just a silly old man, trying to be amusing. I just laugh at his jokes and try NOT to laugh when he attempts to type. Sooooo slow. :D I'm not sure what might help to thicken the endometrium.. I might try googling that one later on. (love you, google!) I'm sure if anyone can possibly help, it'll be a chinese medeciney person. They seem to really know their stuff, I've heard a few good success stories.
AFM- bought some ballet flats so I don't fall flat on my bum again at work, I'm SO afraid of the stairs now it's crazy. I managed to trip UP them yesterday, (didn't really fall though) so I'm feeling totally paranoid and freaked out to the max. Can't believe how clumsy I've gotten and it's only early.
Hi to all the other lovely ladies I've missed, and Reet.... I'm still stalking you. :D
-
Hey Everyone..
A selfish post from me.. ive had an awful day.. Af came this morning.. and then I was taking our pup out to the beach with my sister and her puppies and got a phone call from DH saying that as he was putting our girl Heidi in the back of the ute to go to work with him she ran and got in a fight with the dog across the road from us.. theres 2 dogs in our neighbourhood that she just doesnt get along with.. She is very dominant but then we have a friend who has a dominant dog and Heidi cowers.. its just different dogs i guess. But the owner of the dog said that we really shld put her down.. and my DH is at the point where I think he could. We love her to bits but i cant even walk her up our street anymore. Her mum was a red nose pitbull.. and very typical of what ppl think there like.. extremely vicious. We were hoping heidi wld turn out alright tho but obviously not :( its so frustrating cos we have so many friends with dogs and she gets on with them all. My mum has taken her for a few days and is going to try and find a new home for her. I havent stopped crying all day.. Dh had a few tears too. I dont know what to do. I am thinking maybe a zapper collar cld work so we can zap her if she goes to attack.. but i dont know. I just cant imagine our little family without her here :( Its very rare that she does get in fights.. its only if we leave gate open by accident and she escapes and the rottie up the street is out or yeah if we are loading her into the car and she spots dog across from us. The 2 other dogs fight back ofcourse but they dont come looking for it like she does.
It has taken the emphasis off having af though.. altho i think it has made me a lot more emotional.
So yeah CD1 for me.. sadly enough.. it sux :(
-
Hugs Reet, both bits of news suck :(
-
Oh and minnie ill google ur lining problem.. im not sure if maca wld help or not. Ill get back to u!
Forshelby- Yay!! Thats great news :) :)
Matthews mum- Oh i hope this cycle doesnt get cancelled :( ill keep my FX for u.
Sorry for not doing anymore persies.. ill be back later after ive finished eating lots of chocolate and whinging about my cramps and crying over my dog.. :(
Can anybody pls tell me what Cesar Milan the Dog Whisperer would do???! I have watched heaps of his shows but cant remember.. I wish I cld fly him over
-
Matthews mum ~ Really hope your cycle doesnt get cancelled, FX it doesnt hun! Hugs
Reet ~ Big huggs, I know how you'd feel because my dogs are my babies and I get upset just when people complain about their barking. Would be horrible to have to put her down as Im sure you feel the same way about yours as I do mine. I know it doesnt sound all that nice but what about a muzzle? Just when you dont have her inside or in your yard etc. Would be better than putting her down. Really hope you find a solution hun. And so sorry about AF, its the hardest time when AF comes, start focussing on getting ready for bed dancing perhaps. (((GBH)))
-
thanks forshelby and reet for offering to look into solutions for my problem :-)
Reet: so sorry to hear af arrived for you big hugs
-
Sorry Reet that AF came - big hugs i know how you feel its not fair
Mine is almost gone she better not show herself for along time now like 18months or more. not to many cramps this time it was pretty short must have been caus of the short 26 day cycle.
Caesar Millan was out here last year pity it wasn't now you could go on the show. hope you find a solution xoxoxo
ill do some more persies later off to bed have a morning shift tommorow
thinking of everyone and hope this is our month. Go girls trying in july for a sore bust in august :p
and congrats forshelby those numbers sound great!
-
Reet - Awwwwwww huge hugs, hun. What a horrible day for you. I'm so sorry about af, and your beautiful doggie. Life is unfair. Sending you cuddly vibes and hoping you feel better soon. I hope the chocolate helped a little bit. I say bust out a hot water bottle and get some serious snuggles from DH tonight. I'm not sure what Cesar would do..... I'm sure you've tried everything you know of. I kind of like Loops' idea of the muzzle. Sounds like an acceptable alternative, and will make the neighbours feel a lot more comfortable. I hope it all works out for the best and you get to keep your furbaby. Thinking of you my poor poor lovely lady.
Kit - Hi! Good to see you popping in once again :)
Kellie - Thanks hun, feeling cautiously optimistic for now..... FX for a good outcome.
-
Reet- Bought my HPT yesterday while in town but haven't been game enough to take the test yet, AF is due today for me and so far sorry if this is tmi but yesterday while in town I had a bit of browny discharge about the size of half a 5cent peice and had some on paper when I went to loo today is about the same but only there when I wipe so far waiting for AF to arrive. So not sure when I will test yet just waiting to see what today brings for me.
Forshelby- Feel free to savour the wise comment, lol. I'm glad it made your day, there is nothing better in life than making another person feel good about themselves. I'm still not seeing those neon flashing lights you keep telling me about, lol. Congrats on the great results at yah Dr, bet you are starting to get excited now.
Loops- Thank you for the best wishes.
Iona- Things are sounding good for you right now, congrats. hope all goes well for you, sending you lots of sticky bubba vibes your way.
AFM: I'm still here waiting for my dear ol AF to show or maybe not show. I hate not knowing but I don't want to know either in case in ends in tears again, yesterday morning I woke from sleeping soundly on my belly but then when I woke I felt violently ill and feeling like I wanted to throw up. My bbs are getting very tender lent over a feed drum this morning to get horse feed out and omg it hurt. Like I said earlier I have had some brownish discharge yesterday and today not enough to show on a pad today as yet though. AF has been like clock work for me since my first cycle after our MC in early April always hits on the 27th day lasting for 5 days. Today is my 27th day, so no doubt there will be numerous trips to the loo today to check as I don't think I could be lucky enough to hit the bulls eye first try after my MC I will keep you all informed on how I go through out the day.
Thanks for reading and best of luck to you all that are pg and TTC.
Helen.
-
After to many trips to the loo today and caving and doing a HPT I got a BFN but in saying that I'm not sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me or not and seeing something I so badly want to see but I think there may have been a very faint Postive line, so I'm thinking now that if AF still a no show today I might do another test first up in the morning. Still having some very dark brown discharge when I wipe after tripping to the loo.
Any advice please ppls will be greatly appreciated.
-
Oh clairesmummy, fingers crossed that the line is darker for you if AF doesn't shoe. I had brown discharge with my pregnancy in january around when af was due so here's hoping xoxox
Sorry girls I will come back later for persie, am so tired and I think I'm either getting tonsilitis or the cold so taking myself to bed for a lil while
-
Clairesmummy - I am getting a little bit excited, but will feel a lot more confident once I see a hb at a scan. Maybe it's not neon lights for you, but more of a brownish flashing light? :) I hope so! I'm telling af to stay away from your house, (and to find her shoes.... LOL Iona..) And rumour has it you're more fertile for 3 cycles after a mc due to elevated hormones. This is what my old doctor told me after my mc. I assume he knows what he's talking about?? And OOOHHHHH hoping that line isn't imaginary! Post a pic of your bfpish stick??? I could line-gaze all day long.
Iona - Lol@ your typo. 'af doesn't shoe'? hahaha.. you've got baby brain, my dear! Hope you haven't come down with a cold and it's just regular ms kicking your butt right now. :) (mean that in the nicest way possible!) I'm only getting the random queasiness still, but after bt results am feeling pretty ok about it. No sign of anything wrong yet.
AFM, booking my scan tomorrow. I'm not sure when to tell them I want it though. Tomorrow I will be 6w+2 (according to adjusted dates from bt's) so I'm assuming any old time now should show a nice hb. I'll need to research that stuff. Perhaps it's better to wait until I'm 7wks just to make sure? I'm so eager but I don't want to freak myself out if they can't find a nice flutter in there. Any opinions?? I won't adjust my ticker until after a scan... they should give me some more accurate dates.
-
Thanks Iona and Forshelby- I hope AF has her running shoes on and runs right away from my house please.....lol.....she is still a no show at this stage. How long do you have to be PG before you show a positive result, we only did the deed 12days ago today was the last mattress dance for me as usual though I lose all my libido after I O. Just wanna curl up with a good book n sleep.....lol......sad I know.
Forshelby- I never knew that about being more fertile for 3 cycles after a MC, see you learn something everyday, I told you you were the wise one....lol...sorry I can't post the pic of my test as when it came up neg. and after staring at it for an hour I threw it in the bin totally disheartened.
Reet- Sorry to hear AF arrived for you we must try and make sure she gets a decent pair of running shoes so she can stay away from us.
AFM- AF is still a no show at this stage anyhow but this afternoon I feel like I have been hit by a Mack truck or something big, my body is aching all over and I feel totally run down, thinking it's time to kick back n watch a bit of telly for a little while.
-
Clairesmummy - You can get a bfp anywhere from 5 days before your expected period (this is using an early response test like 'first response') but it's most likely going to show up on the day of your expected period. For a small percentage of women, it takes much longer than this (up to 6wks pg plus) so it's really just a guessing game. If you still have no af in the morning, I say test! And this time take a picture for us.. hehehe. I am feeling rather wise now.. lol. By the time this bubby is born I'll be somewhat of an Oracle, I think. :D
Reet- How are you holding up, hun? Thinking of you, still. Perhaps a small makeover is in order to lift your spirits? Or a chocolate binge-fest. Or Both!
AFM, dinner tasted like it had been rolled in a pile of dust or dirt or something equally un-appetizing. LOL... DP thought I'd gone crazy. So it was a delicious feast of potato bake for me tonight. :(
-
Hey Everyone.. Im feeling a bit better now. Its just been an awful weekend tho! Over it! Looking forward to a new day tomoro.. except i wont have my darling girl at home yet :( My mum is looking after her still..thank goodness.. what wld we do without mothers!! Dh loves heidi alot just as i do.. but he is at the stage where he is so frustrated that she doesnt listen to him when shes playing up that he's ready to get rid of her.. but he also doesnt want to do that because then its just giving our problem to someone else. I am slowly convincing him to let her come home.. and i will take her to obedience training.. get her a muzzle (which he hates the thought of.. cos apparently then its just admitting to everyone u have a mongrel dog *sigh* ..males!) and i am ordering an electric collar for her. I used to hate the thought of them but now that our darling little girls life is on the line then i am willing to do anything to keep her. And dogs arent stupid..it wldnt take long for her to learn. Its just so frustrating about the different ways that dh and i have been brought up.. Dh's mum is a lovely lovely lady but if a dog goes too far she wldnt hesitate to put it down cos its 'just a dog'. She really does love her dogs but just in a different way to me. Whereas my mum got so upset when i said she might have to be put down and she came and collected her straight away. I am slowly started to show dh that we can do something and u cant just put a dog down when u havent trained it properly.. it will take time but i think he will end up being more on my wavelength with it all. He really isnt a heartless bastard.. he was teary all arvo yesterday with me. He loves her so much... but i guess hes just been brought up a lot tougher then i have been!
Just sitting here now i hate the fact that shes not here.. it feels wrong. I miss her so much :( and so is our pup.. she idolises Heidi!
Anyway enough dog talk! I SO need kids.. im way too dog crazy!!! (lets hope we can be better parents then dog owners!)
Af is real weird this time around.. last month it was really really heavy.. probly cos i hadnt had 1 in 4 months since m/c, and this one has been quite light.. Which has been good. I feel so disgusting.. ate a WHOLE block of chocolate yesterday (needed it tho!!) and basically just crap all weekend. We went and saw my dad tonight and he must have noticed my tummy poking out and gave it a rub and commenting on it being a bit round at the moment!! haha diet time for me!! its normally flat!! i keep thinking tho that who cares cos ill be pg soon and it will get big anyway. But i will have to get that out of my mind!! Its a lot better to be healthy before conceiving otherwise ill never get back to pre-baby-body!!!
Sorry no persies again.. gotta get to bed.. dh is going away in the morning for a week.. gotta help him pack his things!
Thanku for listening to my rambling on with dog issues!! :)
xxx

Hi reet: poor thing. What a stressful weekend. Good to see you are taking action to bring your worries (and your little fur rebel!) under control. Hope the dog training works out for you. Glad to see I'm not the only one who can power through a ton of chocolate (although i do it even when i don't have AF!)
Clairesmummy: FX AF stays away. You never know, others have hit the jackpot first time after MC. Why not you? HOping that's just some implantation colouring you've got there...
Iona: sleep tight!
FOrshelby: Who cooked the 'dirty' dinner? And was it meatballs that rolled off the table and onto the floor and then out the front door! (Groan, couldn't resist bad joke, sorry!)
Kellbell: yay for end of AF!
Minnie: hope you get answers soon. I'd be curious about the herbal remedies too.
-
Reet- Hope all goes well for you with your puppy, stick with her and give it your all and you will be happy with the results you get with her, consistency is the key to training all dogs and never be afraid to use a firm voice command and make a NO sound scary to them. I recently had to have my old blue cattle dog put to sleep due to him having cancer he was a 21st pres from my mum and dad and I took him everywhere with me when I went away to shows and everything with my horses. Horrible day and I hated letting him go but it had to be done cause I couldn't let him suffer with cancer. So best of luck with your girl and I hope you get to bring her home real soon darl.
PossumMagic- Thank you for the vote of confidence, I'm feeling a little more at ease today and a little confident as well.
AFM- Well I couldn't help myself I had to do another HPT first up this morning and it seems I may have not been seeing things yesterday this morning there is definately a faint positive line going to hold onto this test to show DF when he gets home from work to make sure he can see it as well, I feel like a paranoid freak right now. And Forshelby( The Oracle, lol) I did try to take a pic for you but it won't work for me. Sorry lol......DF says to take another test in a couple of days. No AF at the moment for me as yet and hoping and praying like hell she wont show up for me for the next 36 weeks. Still have a little brownish discharge but no where near as much as Saturday nearly nothing at all when I wipe now. Sprouted 2 horrible zits yesterday which was a huge let down cause they come with AF as well. So atm Im terrified AF will turn up but nearly bouncing off walls about the faint line when POAS. Could I really be lucky enough to hit the bulls eye first try? The anticipation is killing me here ppls. I want to jump and shout but dont want the scary though of AF arriving either.

Hi Lovely Ladies
Clairesmummy ~ very exciting, hoping that line gets darker and darker and :SAAF::noaf: FX hun.
Reet ~ Im glad you have plans for your doggie - the dog obedience sounds like a great idea. Hope you are feeling a bit happier. You could be a bit bloated as well from AF, hence your tummy sticking out. Im exactly the same as you just can't get motivated to lose it either because I keep saying to myself I'll be pg before long so it wont matter LOL.
Matthewsmum ~ thanks for asking, im not so confident now as I think my sore bb's might just have been from my flu, ive been a bit achey all over. My tummy has felt a bit fuller though so not giving up hope just yet but its probably a bit early to get symptoms anyway. Will keep you posted. Still have FX for you that you can go ahead with your cycle. xo
Hi to everyone else, FX for BFPs!!

Hi Everyone,
Wow what a busy weekend!
Matthewsmum - Hoping your bt results are high enough for another transfer this month! let us know hun xxx
Reet - Oh hun, what a terrible few days!!! I hope Af leaves quickly for you.....As for pitties well, I think your best hope is one on one obedience training with a Delta accredited trainer, they can resocialise her and make her feel good about interacting with other dogs, but you are right some dogs just clash! Are you very dominant with her? Pitties respond well to a firm hand/voice, good luck! I am scared everytime I see a ranger they will want to take my rednose away from me, and it is a horrible feeling xxxx
Clairesmummy - Woohoo for double lines, test again test again ;)xxx
Loops - Lovely to hear from you hunxxxx
Iona, Stoked, Forshelby, minniemouse and kellbell - Hope you are all well!
AFM - SHould really be packing the car  had a really busy weekend keeping DS occupied, was nice though, Had a really long walk along manly beach today with my furbaby(all wounds healing), was lovely to be by myself for a bit, we are trying to keep to only bding every 2nd day so we dont peak too early, so far it is working! Hope everyone is having a good start to the week! xxxx

Hi all,
I am new to BB, i just feel like i need to talk to some one.
DH and i were ttc since may 2010.
I had BHP 11/07/10  (This is my first pregnancy) and was over the moon.
went to gp on the 14/07 everything seemed fine, having symptoms etc
on sat arvo 17/11/10 started sopt bleeding. DH took me to after hours GP and they did tests. hCG level was 90, which is apparently good level for 5-6 weeks. I was sent home with some hope that everything was going to be ok.
Yesterday the bleeding increased (sorry if tmi) and i started getting cramps. DH raced me to emergency, they did hCG test and the level had dropped to 38. They told me i was having a threatened miscarriage. (6 weeks)
Now i dont know what to do. I have had today off work, but i feel so lost. The doc keeps telling me its nothing that i did, and shows my body is working the way it is meant to, but i cant help this feeling i have. This baby was so wanted and loved already in such a short time..

Mrs Macca,
First of all Hi and welcome to BB. Sending huge hugs to you and your DH,. I had a missed MC in early April that broke my heart, I went through boxes n boxes of tissues and if it wasn't for my DF and my family and friends I had to lean on I would of been a bigger mess. The only thing I can say is if you need to talk feel free to do so. I might not have any good advice but always here to listen.
Bons- I will be testing again probably on Wednesday morning if I can hang out that long. ;)
Loops12- Thanks for the protest sign for no AF....lol...I love it....
Mathewsmum- We shall see what the next couple of days bring for me, I'm on my knees praying n hoping for a no show from AF.
AFM- :noaf: AF is still keeping her distance from me ATM.......:
-
Apologies in advance if I've missed anyone... my brain seems to be malfunctioning lately.
Reet - Sounds like you have a plan in place for your little girlie. Hoping it all works out for you. Don't feel bad about the rounded tummy... my work pants barely fit already. I think my raging appetite has caused the chunkiness... LOL.
Possum - I cooked the dirty dinner! DP said it was fine, so I think it was just me.
Clairesmummy - A line is a line is a line. CONGRATULATIONS! Faint or not, it's a BFP, hun! I say test again Wednesday. :D
Matthews mum - I'm booked in for next Monday, making me 7wks+2 on the day of the scan. Thanks for asking after me. I'll be lurking to see if they cancelled your FET or not. Hopefully not! FX!
Loops - When are you testing?
Bons - Hi! Thanks, I am well. glad your furbaby is healing nicely. Good luck for the bd bonanza!
Mrs.Maca - Sorry to hear of your loss, and welcome to BB. It's a pity it had to be under such sad circumstances, but it is also the way I found this lovely place. You've come to the right place for support. 'my girls' in here are SO wonderful, I know you'll gain some peace from sharing with us all. Please don't blame yourself though. I know it's hard not to, but it is nothing you've done, really. Your doctor is right, and your body is just doing its job. As heartbreaking as that is, try to take comfort in the fact that this is NOT your fault and it's just nature's way. Cruel, yes... but nature. Be gentle with yourself, hun and take time to grieve your loss. We are all here for you, and can genuinely say we understand what you're feeling. Huge hugs for you. Take care of yourself.
AFM, Booked in for my first scan (dating scan I assume) on Monday the 26th. I'm nervous but mostly excited. Symptoms are slowly increasing... queasiness seems to last longer, but still no actual throwing up so far. I'm ravenously hungry ALL THE TIME..... and have a bad habit right now of just grazing all day long. My pants are so tight it's crazy. Bbs are still not really all that sore.... and I've sprouted some very attractive little zits on my chest. Only a couple.. but ew. I guess at least I know things are progressing. My symptoms are so vague though, I can't help but worry a little. Surely I'm not so lucky that I would have a breezy pregnancy like that. I'm just waiting for MS to whoop my butt. LOL... right when I least expect it.
Take care, everyone.... Who will the next BFP be?? Remember, sore bust in August! :D LOL
-
Good luck with your dating scan forshelby how exciting to see your little peanut hope that heart is beating away :D
Clairesmummy - hope that line gets darker and darker
Mrs Macca - sorry you have found yourself in here. big hugs
vent and talk in here as much as you need we all understand the pain xoxox
Bons - you are so close you are to "laying your egg" hope this is your month. we are trying just to do every 2nd day as well.
Loops hope your the next BFP! what day are you on are you testing soon?
Im the same too cant be bothered to lose a few extra kilos hopefully be fat and pregnant soon and ill lose it after that LOL :p
Matthewsmum - hope you can go ahead with your cycle FX
sorry to everyone i have missed thinking of everyone and hope there a whole bunch of BFPs to come in the next few weeks
afm - this month ive decided not to temp or use any opks and go with the flow and try and have some fun ;)
-
Just realised i didn't do a good job of persies in my last post.
Mathewsmum: waiting to hear results of your blood test. I hope you get good news.
Bons: Walk on the beach sounds nice. Glad your marathon of BDing is going to plan. Hope you catch that egg!
Loops: FX for you that your symptoms are more than the flu!
Forshelby: can't believe how far along you are already. Was just saying to DH that when i was waiting to get to 12wks myself it felt like every week dragged soooo slowly. NOw that i'm not pg it feels like the weeks are flying by and I can't believe I would be going on 11wks by now if things had worked out. No point counting now but i can't help myself. I'm reminded because my best friend is pg just a month ahead of where i would've been.
Hi to everyone else i 'persied' last time (and to anyone i missed).
AFM: Took one more dose of medication last Friday and nothing much happening now. I really think MC is finally finished. GOing to dr on Wed to confirm. Hoping to have blood tests done this week to see if any problems show up that could have caused the miscarriages. Itching to be able to try again. Hoping that i can in about another 2wks.

First of all Thankyou so much ladies for all ur kind words.. truly appreciate it. I really dont know what i wld do without u all.. :grouphug:
Bons- Im going to try to do the same this month.. bd only every 2nd day.. lets hope it works this time cos doing it everyday didnt work last cycle!! Heidi's mum was a red nose pittie.. their such beautiful dogs. She doesnt always listen to me.. not even when i have my angriest voice on.. i dont think i have ever demanded enough authority.. she always listens to dh UNTIL shes on the attack and then no amount of angry yelling stops her. Its really us that needs the training i reckon tho.. thats why the dog obedience will be good. Im just realising to get a good dog is a lot of hard work! We have a 5 month old pup Nala too.. we've had our practice run with heidi.. we know what we have to do this time around.. Nalas going to be perfect! :) Glad ur furbaby is recovering.. its awful when their injured hey. Heidi got her face torn open from a ferocious big rottie up the street a yr ago.. i cried so much.. it was so sad to see her in so much pain and not understanding why. It ended up costing us $800 to fix.. did u get a big vet bill?? Is he/she going on holidays with u?? Ive gone on enough now.. Good luck bd'ing!!! :) And have a nice time away from home!
Forshelby- Almost only 6 days til u can see ur gorgeous little babies heartbeat! Yay! :) And ur lucky u have a reason for ur tummy getting bigger.. i dont! Im just being lazy!
Clairesmummy- Be hanging to read ur post on wed morning.. hoping it is defintely a bfp for u!
Mrs Macca- So sorry to hear about ur m/c :( Just take it easy for a while. Its amazing how much u love that little thing inside u and how many hopes and dreams u have for it. It feels like ur life is turned upside down when its taken from u so suddenly. Time is the greatest healer.. dont rush it.. Thinking of u x
Loops- So when are u testing?? It wld be so good for u to get ur bfp before u have to go down the ivf route.. ur symptoms really do sound promising. Will be stalking u!!
Matthews mum- My fingers are still crossed that ur bt results. I am so hoping this cycle doesnt get cancelled.
Possum- how are u feeling??
Iona- Are u feeling a bit better today??
Kellbell- Af must be almost gone now?? Have u got a plan for this month?? Bd as much as u can or only every 2nd day like bons and i??
I know im forgetting ppl.. im sorry.. A big hello tho!!! :)
AFM- Not alot to report here.. af is still rather light. Dh left this morning, he will be back saturday ready to start bding!! hopefully he doesnt have to go away again or it will mess up all my plans!!
Thinking of u all xxx
PS . i just took forever to write this post and submit it so kellbell and possum ignore my comments!! Im glad kellie ur just going with the flow.. i think thats what im gonna do this month. And possum.. so glad that its almost all over. I have said that ever since m/c too.. the 9 weeks went so slow when i was pg and now that im not it is zooming by.. its awful..especially when u want time to slow down.

Just popping my head in to say a quick hello. Well as I was thinking towards the end of last month I am taking a break from TTC for the first time since last August. I'm not even going to do temping. AF was very short, only one day of flow so I will just concerntrate on living life with DP and we are both working towards getting our weight down :) I will still be lurking ;).
Good luck to all TTC and I hope those that are utd keep their stickies :)
