For those who havent yet or are still testing GOODLUCK.

I Just joined a few days ago, but this is the first post in this forum. You all sound great:) So, im Jessikah, My DH and i have been TTC 2yrs+, and have had 3 m/c.(2 sets of twins) im worried it may happen again but trying to be pos and hoping to be pg by the end of the year. Im about 3 days off OV, but DH is away so hoping it will wait a bit.

Looking foward to getting to know you all. and truly sorry for your losses.

I just saw your earlier post on the Intro thread and hoped you would find your way to us!! I am sorry for the losses you have suffered but you sound determined to make your baby dreams come true. You have found many like-minded women here! Have you had any testing, etc? I had a series of blood tests after my second m/c that came up with nothing-- so here I am TTC again (as we all are) . I know that it is hard to keep starting all over again and that's why you'll find the support here so valuable. Wishing you all the best for a BFP soon and sticky bubba to go with it!! xo :hug:

Yes after my third m/c i also had a heap of blood tests and a laparoscopy in august. They all came back clear, so for now we are just TTC for this cycle and the next, and if no luck, our Dr wants DH to be tested for a Low :sperm: Count. I will be OV'ing any day now so hoping that its not that.:)

Shan - lovely to see you back. sorry that it cant be announcing the so wanted good news. But hopefully very soon. What are you up to?

Lisa - I hope like crazy all those symptoms are the real thing :crossfingers:

Jayne - thanks lovey - I know I have some great signs but dont want to get my hopes up - the heartburn is the only thing that is giving me a little hope, I just dont want to be too disappointed if af shows next week IYKWIM?

Me - well the heartburn kicked right in after dinner and still got a headache. I know its probably still early for symptoms but this is real heartburn and even with the last two pg's I had it a week before finding out I was pg. So maybe its not all in my head :confused:

Went to the NP today - she didnt give much away at all about what she thinks, she told me to keep praying to the big man upstairs and to talk to my 'little one'. She is going away next week (right when im due for af) so she insisted that she give me her mobile number and that if af is late I must call her, and she doesnt want me going to the dr or doing bt's. I am on strict orders to call her.

Hope and Kez-When are you guys testing? I thought about doing it 10 DPO which is next Wed. but just wondering if that's too soon. Since I had such a wierd cycle last month, I don't know when I should be "late". At least the days are going faster than last month.

It still hasn't really sunk in. I am actually stressing out a bit because i have had bad weird pains down my right side and back, twinging, stitch like things that are quite noticable. So i have a doctors appointment today to check it out. I have a feeling it could be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy? I know i am just freaking too much and shouldn't think the worst all the time but i just can't help it. I have no positive thoughts as i don't want to be let down again. I am driving myself crazy!

Can't wait till you all get to testing time!! Lisa things sound very promising.....i have everything crossed for you, i can't do this alone! Welome Jessikah...i hope all your TTC dreams come true!

Jayne - i hope you are right, although i did do a HPT last Thursday thinking I could have been, but it was negative, but i'm not too sure where i am in my cycle coz i haven't temped or anything for a while, so if i O'd late, i suppose i could do another test this week. Still have the brownish discharge, so not sure if AF is trying to make her presence known or not....xxxx

Keen - Nice to see you too hun. Not up to much at the moment. I don't have a car so finding it a bit difficult to get out and about, so pretty much staying home, which i supose is a good thing to coz the boredom has been making me finish the unpacking. I took DH to work this morning just so i could go to the council to organise the dog/cat rego, and do some grocerey shopping. The only thing then is that i have to go and pick him up again tonight, right when i am cooking tea, so i'm gunna have to make something this arvo that can just be reheated....hhhhmmmm maybe Lasagne...yummo!!

Shan…mmmmm… lasagne! That makes me hungry. Is it raining your way today? Its so dark and grey in Melb today. So missy are you seeing a FS or NP to help with your long cycles?? I hope this is the cycle for you – nothing would make me happier than to see you hop over to PAML. Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for you sweety.

Megan – im sure those pains are normal and you have nothing to worry about. They might do some bloodwork today as its probably a bit early for an u/s. So long as there is no bleeding, I think its just your body adjusting and getting everything into position so you can grow that little bean of yours. Sending loads of sticky vibes your way. Please let us know how the dr appt goes.

Missy – its so tempting to test early isn’t it?? Well im actually due for af mid next week, but I think if it doesn’t show then I will test on the weekend (if I can be that strong). I will only test if I have full on symptoms such as my bbs growing into big mammas or I start chucking. Ooooh I hope that by the end of next week a heap of us will be announcing bfps.

Me – had massive heartburn last night, but nothing today so I wont be surprised if af does show her face…grrr… but I had a weird dream last night – me and my MIL were shopping for evening gowns and then all of a sudden there were all these gorgeous baby clothes and she picked up blue and I picked up pink, and then I told her I didn’t want to buy specific colours as I don’t know the baby is going to be. Very strange but I hope it’s a sign of things to come.

Oh and Im not going away next week after all, ive got the week off work but will be at home so you gals don’t have to wait for me to get back to announce my hpt results!

LisaL How are you? I've been keeping a fairly low profile the last few days as I have been feeling a bit down as it was my #2 angels edd on Tuesday. I'm feeling a bit better today though. Not much has been happening with me, just waiting to have b/t next wednesday and back to gyn/ob on the 20th. I'm not too sure if I'm in the tww yet or not as I don't know when or if I o'd. I will have to wait until Friday next week to get results of b/t so I'll know for sure then.
I have my fingers crossed for you. Things sound possitive on your part.I hope you get the bfp that you deserve soon.

Lisa (Missy and Kez)-- a mass test sounds good!? Nice to think that others are going through the same spectrum of emotions at the same time!! I have no indicators that I may be UTD but I"m only 5DPO. AF is due for me on Thursday (I think) so I could probably do Wed or Thur morning. I would so love this to be my month as I turn 30 very shortly (or rather twenty-ten, as I like to call it). BUT if it is not to be then lock up your liquor as I'll be able to party hard to celebrate!! I've decided that this next year is MY year, especially after the crap one I had this year- so as a result I'm not too depressed about "dirty thirty"!

Oh Mako – I am so sorry we didn’t know about Tuesday. I hope you had a special day and did something nice to remember your little angel. I was a total mess when the edd of my first angel came around. We released a balloon with a special poem written on it. I found that ttc after that has been much more relaxed. Sending you special hugs my sweet. Hopefully you get some answers from the bt’s.

Hope – your so funny! I really hope that we all have bfp’s before xmas, and I should be right to test wed or thurs next week (although I don’t know when I O’d). One of my bf’s was planning to have a big “dirty thirty” party and after two years of ttc she gave up and was planning other things. Well she got pg and instead of having a dirty thirty – she had a little bundle of joy just before her 30th and the only thing dirty at her party was the baby’s nappies :eek: I hope you get the bfp before the big twenty ten!

Hi sweety. You should be able to start ttc straightaway (im assuming you have stopped bleeding?) Well both Megan and I didnt wait a cycle, and now look she has a nice dark bfp. I dont see any reason to wait - unless you yourself dont feel ready.

Avatars (the pic beside your user name), are available to all Platinum members, If you are a Plat Member you can contact the mods for your avatar. As for the angels, you can do that yourself if you go to 'edit signature' in Quick Links. You can choose the little angel from the little icons and then write in details about your little angel.

OMG girls, this is so freaky and probably totally insane, but I just went to the loo and while I was in there thought id check out my bbs to see if anything is ‘changing’ in that dept. Well… I had all these little white bits on and around my nppl :eek: it look like desiccated coconut (but smaller bits) scattered around my nppl and they disappear when you touch them....... What is that?? Please someone tell me.....

hope youre all feeling great.
Yesterday was the 1st anniversary of my Two precious angel babys (twins) and i wanted to share what i did for there special day, lastnight. I baked 2 cakes, and played the same music that we played while we were pg. I had my 3 sisters and my nephew come over and we had a little celebration, after that I lit two big candles and put them in the nursery, we released 10 pink and 10 blue balloons with the words of a poem on. Lastnight i slept in the nursery and had the most comfortable sleep ever, the candles stopped burning 10 minutes before i left for work, and it has felt like my babys have been with me all day.:)

I'm glad you're going to be around next week, but I have a question. On your ticker it says you will be testing in 5 days.......so why are we waiting until Wednesday or Thursday? I can't wait that long!!!!!!!! I hope that you see fit to test before then! Did you find some good cake recipes? I looove baking, it's my favourite form of cooking, I find it so relaxing. Well i visited the GP and she doesn't seem too concerned about the pains. She did an internal (the joys!) though and thought my uterus felt a bit enlarged or raised or something for my stage????? Didn't really understand, nor did i really want to know! Anyway had a BT to check out HCG levels and will get the results back tomorrow. OB wants to see me at 6 weeksish. What a long road.........thank god we are going away tomorrow!!

hope everyone is doing okay.
I have to share, earlier today i thought my maybe baby wasnt working, so i went and got an opk, when i did the test it was -ve but there were 2 lines but one was faint, and then just forthe sake of it i tried the mabye baby again and.....ahhh partial ferning:) my DH has been away for 2 weeks but will be home late tommorrow night, so my body has been kind and waited!! im so excited, dreading the 2WW as im so anxious already, a little scared too. but bein pos.

Hope, Kez, & Lisa- I'm up for a mass test day so just let me know which one. I definitely have to say that doing the OPK did help my POAS addiction. Looking at a test with any 2 lines will excite me a little, although I'd love for it to be a pregnancy test. Like I said, I will be 11 DPO on Wed so I don't know if I'll be able to hold off any longer than that.

I hope everyone else is doing good. I think I'm finally getting up to speed with everyone.

Jessikah - just a quick note, the maybe baby really didn't work for me, it was all over the place! i tended to fern all the time! just wanted to let you know cos i think the opk's are more reliabe....for me anyway! good luck!

If I had been further along there is no doubt I would've waited out a cycle but being that it was a v. early mc with no D&C needed thought that we should be okay to start right away. I feel more confident about it now though:-)

Lisa- thanks for that! I did work it out :-) Sept really sticks out as being unlucky for us doesn't it! Not a good mth at all. My father passed away in that month too and we were very close. It was such a horrible time and the year preceding it! :crying:

Hello ladies, have also been missing in action for a few days. AF due on the weekend and so I couldn't help myself and did early HPT on Wed/Thurs. Both BFN!!!:bfn: So I am feeling pretty down.

Megan - congratulations with your BFP! :bfp: That's great news and even better about your HCG levels. My fingers are toes are crossed for you.

Lisa - hope AF doesn't come. I am soooooo over these symptoms. My bbs had settled down and then have come back with a vengeance. Not too sure if Metformin has changed AF symptoms????

Jessikah - Hi! I have been really moved hearing about your journey and hope your time TTC is short. Last year when I had my second M/C I tried straight away and fell preg immediately. Unfortunately I lost that one too.....I know for me that your desire to try again grows stronger and stronger, so if you feel you are ready then go for it. Maybe Baby has been too inconsistent with me. I also use OPT's and find these the best indicator. Good luck this month if you try.:)

Missy/Kez - Hope you both get BFP's next week? Any symptoms yet????

Lisa- Don't give up hope yet- who knows what the pains could be?? They could be good news- I was a liitle crampy the first time I fell pg. I evewn had a little browny stuff and put a tampon in not thinking anything of it. I now know it was implantation pains and spotting-- so who knows, it may be the same with you :crossfingers:
Megan- Congrats on the HCG results! Hope it is reassuring for you.
Hindonly/Janine-glad you are "officially" beginning the TTC journey. Hope you are not waiting too long for that BFP

As for testing Missy/ Kez / Lisa- AF is due for me next Thursday so the earliest I could test is probably Wednesday and even that may be too early as I only have a 10-11 day LP. You guys should just test whenever it takes your fancy- don't wait if you don't have to.
No indications that anything is going on for me anyway. :( On the up side I have my first ob./gyn appmnt on Monday arvo. I'm sure he won;t have any answers but I'm hoping he'll be able to keep an eye on me next time around. Happy Friday all!!
