♥THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! ♥
Well..
After quite a scare... around 8PM I found brown spotting in my undies then I wiped again and it was red. I was scared outta my mind. What scared me the most was the bad cramping in my lower back, lower abs and cervix area. So hubby got home not too long from me posting and he took me to ER ASAP!!
Well a doc saw me, did blood work and "felt" my cervix.. at that time ( Like around 10PM??.. He said my cervix was closed ( good news) he poked and he said it is not open.. but he said he can't guarantee it will stay closed and he spoke about a "cerclage (sp?) ( stitching the cervix closed so baby won't "fall" out) if needed. He said there was old blood in my vag cavity but that the cervix itself stopped bleeding. He said it could have been anything, from irritation of the cervix due to sexual intercourse to just broken blood vessels in there.
First a nurse came in with a doppler and she found no fetal heartbeat. Scared me stiff. I was in tears. Then like an hour later ( looks like they were trying to call a doc for an u/s machine)) but dunno what happened there.. so doc came back with the darn doppler.. and he did find a fetal heartbeat.. he said it was 140 ( it was 153 on 8/15) I asked if I should be concerned and he said totally not.. at different times of the day the babys heartbeat changes just like ours do when we are resting or "active".
BUT..BUT.. he said I have a threatened miscarriage so he said I am to be in absolute bed rest and "cervical rest".. ( no sex till delivery day ..poor hubby..) managed to smile.
They did blood work and in the end he told me my HCG levels were 12,000 which he said it was perfect for 10 weeks.
here is a comparison chart I found online:
PREGNANCY STATUS SERUM hCG LEVELS
from conception from LMP (mIU/ML or IU/L)
7 days 3 weeks 0 to 5
14 days 28 days 3 to 426
21 days 35 days 18 to 7,340
28 days 42 days 1080 to 56,500
35 - 42 days 49 - 56 days 7,650 to 229,000
43 - 64 days 57 - 78 days 25,700 to 288,000
57 - 78 days 79 - 100 days 13,300 to 253,000 ** I would fall here******
17 - 24 weeks 2nd trimester 4060 to 65,400
25 wks to term 3rd trimester 3640 to 117,000
After several days postpartum nonpregnant levels (<5)"
**sssiiiiiiiiggghhhhhh*****
So looks like bub is ok.. ( PHEW) but he basically said they have a "red flag" up when it comes to my pregnancy.
:(
My next OBGYN appointment is this Wed. Sept 10th at 1:30 PM .. prayers much appreciated. Hoping that for my Birthday on the 14th I can celebrate in peace.
right now cramping has stopped but my cervix is sore from all the "touching" and am still spotting a bit.. . I'm asking God to please take care of this baby. I love this baby so much since before conception and as you can tell.. I won't be able to handle loss news at all.. I know my world would crumble below me. But I'm trying to think positive, for my sake for the babys sake. I know This baby is meant to be.. God is knitting him or her so very carefully in my womb.. I have faith in him... he will take care of my baby.
God bless you all Thank you so much for your prayers!! Much needed much appreciated!! ♥.:grouphug:
your friend,
Ruthie

Ruthie- So so pleased to hear from you, have been checking all day. So sorry to hear you had such a scare but really really pleased things are ok. I know you will worry, will be saying lots of  for you take it easy and rest up. sending you and hubby lots of :hug: sure this bub will be fine.
-
Thank you so much... and thank you all.. Well so far the doc said if my cervix opens even if it's a little bit I will need a "cerclage" (sp?) which is stitching the cervix shut till delivery ....hoping it remains closed.. on Wed the doc will check for that.
Again Thank you so much fro your payers.. It means so much you all understand how I feel..
I will keep you posted I'm still spotting a but its brown goop so I guess its old blood from yesterday.
**sigh**** just want Wed to come so I can see the bub in the u/s.. I was a bit mad as to why they didn't do one right away instead of scaring me with the doppler ( 1st time they did it the nurse didn't find a fetal heartbeat!! SCCCAARRRYYY!!!)
hugs to you all and I'm praying for you all to have healthy pregnancies and to see BFPs this month!!!
Good luck all of you and I cannot thank you enough for your prayers..they WORK!!!

Oh Ladies, what lovely messages to wake up to.
Kyrstie - I honestly think having BB to focus on forces you to not only acknowledge what your feeling but that other people need help too. My DP is working in Sydney during the week and I am on my own. Without BB I think it would be far too easy to concentrate on how rubbish I am feeling.
PLC - that is such good news 22 weeks darling that is simply wonderful!
Ruth - that is comforting news - I have been told I have to have a cerclage for my next pregnancy. I have been reading loads of stuff online about it. I can send you some website links if you like.
Smi - go to see your FS darling, it is your body after all.
OK - My goal for the day is to not be wearing a dressing gown at lunch time. Oh yes I am setting the bar high today!
Hugs to you all and have a fab weekend
Adele

I'm sorry it's taken me this long to get to personals--I've been so super busy today! It's been a much-needed distraction!
Fab 2/3--Thank you both again for being there for me this am! I knew that I could count on you girls to get me thru my morning! :grouphug: Angel, the card you sent me... you know... that's all I can say right now. :crying: And Krystie, I'm still so honored over the symbolism of your avatar--I feel very privileged! I appreciate you both so much, I don't think it's possible for you to ever know! *kiss* *kiss*
AJC--Thanks so much for your PM... it meant so much to me! I'm so glad to hear your u/s went well! :cheer: Thanks for letting me know how it went!
Tam--Wish I knew the answer to your baby aspirin question... I take one everyday because my doc mentioned it, but to be honest with you, I'm not sure what it's for or why I take it! All I know is that if it could help in any way, shape, or form, then I'm all for trying it! ;)
Oh, Angel, I hope you feel better today--I can't believe you hung around at work all night waiting for me--especially when I know how cr@ppy you're feeling! I hope that staying up late didn't make you feel worse! *kiss*
joey--Good luck with your :2ww:

Thank you my sweet ladies.
Kristylove, chappas, fifi, toccara, smi, jen, angelbabies,Tam, bytheocean, larz, babyfever, dellydo, jenishka, AJC, Leyza, mollycat, Plcb, Joey, all of you ( sorry if I missed anyone of you sweet ladies)
I'm doing ok... spotting the AM was this brown goop so guess it was just old left over blood from yesterday... I'm just sore down there... not cramping just sore to the touch and my tummy where my cesarean scar is ..also is sore.. cuz since they didn't find fetal heartbeat right away... they really poked and jabbed that dopppler thing and it hurts now.
dellydo: links appreciated..... doc said that the cramping could have been an indication of it opening and that's why he spoke to me about it.. but so far it is shut.. so on Wed I will be checked again.. if I will need it then so be it.. anything to keep my baby nice and warm inside.
I will do anything for his baby to make it healthy to our arms. We have been waiting for so long and have gone through so much just like many of my ladies here.
I'm very grateful of all your prayers. I will let you know how it all goes on Wed and if I need the stitching or not.
 Ruthie

Babyfever--Sorry to hear about the fire, but very relieved everyone is safe and sound!
dellydoo--So sorry about your recent loss, hun! How very considerate and BB-like of you to be concerned with the well-being of others when you're feeling so down! I know for me it was very cathartic knowing that I was trying to help someone else thru a pain that I knew so well, and it helped keep my mind off myself and my own problems. Just wanted to :welcome: you, and I hope you stick around so we can get to know you!
Oh, Krystie, I forgot to mention that your temps are looking a little higher than usual, don't you agree? I'm :crossfingers: and saying mega BFP  for both you and Nuff!! You're both showing such restraint this month! Very impressive!
smi--Woo hoo! Friiiiidaaaay! Sorry I didn't get to answer you earlier, but I hope you decided to go ahead and go to your FS appt! I agree, it's your body and you should know what's going on with it, whether you're still with Lee or not! :goodluck2: Will keep any good e-mails comin' atcha! But if it's the weekend, should I not send it to your work e-mail, or do you still check that one when you aren't at work? Let me know...
Toccara--I don't have an IM, actually....sorry! But I DO have these handy dandy :stickyvibesgirl: for you!! Hugs....

Ruthie - glad to hear that everything has turned out ok for now. All the best on Wed.
Jen - Open circle on those ones mean that the time taken was different (usually happens on a Sat) THE ONE day of the week that I actually get a sleep in. Unless we really need to go somewhere the alarm is never set so it depends on what time the cat wakes up and demands to go outside. for you.
-
Ruthie - am so happy to hear that bub is ok. Now rest and try to relax, I think the key word there is try. I don't think there is any such thing as 'relaxed' with pregnancy after m/c. Good luck for Wed. Sending special  your way.
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: I think your little one is just snuggling in that little big snugglier.
Jen - glad you got my message
Big  for everyone.
-
Oh, AJC.... I just saw your u/s picture! It's fabulous! I'm so happy for you! :cheer:
