for those of you that fell pregnant after loss without AF

I was wondering, since there are quite a few of you lovely ladies out there, if you would mind answering a few questions for me....

    1. Did you test for ovulation after your miscarriage? Or did you just take the 'see what happens' attitude?

    2. If you did test for ov. How long did it take for you to ovulate?

My m/c was 6 weeks ago but I only tested negative to 'pregnancy' on Monday.
I'm just wondering how long it will take?

    Any ladies with experience?

I'm wanting to book a holiday for next year but without a supposed due date I'm a little hesitant, it sounds silly buti really want a sibling for Ds asap and I don't want to book the trip and regret it

I actually tested for menopause cause I thought that was it for me.

I m/c on my SL's bfday - 21st March and the doctor told me as it was a 'clean abortion" that my body would give me a normal period at its normal 28 day cycle date....that date came and went....I cant even remember an sign's of Oing....I did a test on the 30th of April and it came up negetive...thought nothing of it then thought I must be starting menopause and tested and was negetive for that aswell.

It wasnt until I spewed in the shower and jed making me do another test that I realised that purhaps I was pg. We hadnot intended on TTC for atelast 6 months as we had lost twins and were devistated. We were actually waiting for my period so we could use the billings method. We recieved out BFP on the 8th of May.

Good luck and I hope you get your BFP soon

I was charting and o'd on day 26 after my miscarriage. I have pcos and irregular cycles tho so mine probably isn't anything to go by

I hope your cycle resumes quickly for you. I understand the frustration of the making and changing of plans *hug*

ETA Just reread the title of the thread. We didn't fall on that cycle. But I do know when I o'd

The Billings method is a form of natural birth control which teaches a woman to recognise when she is infertile and when she is fertile by examining cervical mucus. The success rate depends on the couple's commitment and their willingness to avoid genital contact and penetrative sex during the woman's fertile times.
basically you watch your cycle and dont DTD anywere near when your Oing

For my first m/c years ago I had a d&c on Dec 14th (roughly 8.5wks pregnant); bled for maybe a week or so. Waited for AF to turn up but after nearly 6wks decided to test and voila BFP. I dont even remember if or when we dtd in that time frame and I def dont remember signs of ovulating lol
