hi girls,
im popping back in as its quiet, this is normally such a busy list, i don't mean to offend (but this possibly will) but there has been lot of pregnancy talk in here lately and i suspect maybe that is difficult for some people (posters and lurkers alike), don't get me wrong im thrilled for you all but for a time there the majority of what was discussed on here was scans and morning sickness etc this is probably sounding all wrong, i fully understand how hard it would be to move on from here (after suffering 3 m/c myself) im just trying to be sensitive to some people, we love to hear all your updates and how you are going.
so before i go quietly and :hide: i'll give a quick update......when af finally arrives (on day 47 at the moment gggrrrr) we will be starting clomid and trying next cycle, im keen to get going but nervous we may have a long road ahead of us.....
any lurkers out there want to say hi or anyone else got an update or something they want to share ?
and lastly i leave u with one of these :grouphug:
-
I feel really bad thinking i have kept people away - def wasnt my intention :-(
I felt like if we told too many people or went to the PAML thread my bubble would burst and id lose the baby.
Anyway enough of my ramblings must be time for me to move on
Ill def be stalking for Clairesmummy and Melsters BFP's
I hope all the TTC's and lurkers come back as this is a very supportive group and helped me alot
-
Ditto kell! I have been feeling a bit bad coming in here but im sure melster and clairesmummy have been appreciating our support.. this journey is lonely enough already! I have been a bit scared to join the paml thread.. but i think i might soon.. altho its hard enough for me to keep up in our bb group!
See u all on the other side! Best of luck!! xx

:jawdrop:
Us pg ladies have asked time and time again if anyone was uncomfortable with us remaining here with our friends for support. Kellie, don't feel guilty you've done nothing wrong.
I don't want this to be a big 'thing' but I found that statement a bit harsh. I'm not sure what made you feel you have the authority to speak on behalf of everyone else..... but in the name of freedom of speech go right ahead. It's kind of unfair that we must be sensitive to the needs of some, and not to those who are not ready to move on. Nobody has expressed any discomfort with pg ladies remaining for a while, and I think these kind of judgements should be made by mods.
Thank you to all my dear friends who've shown their support over the last 5-6 months. You've been my shining light. I'll continue to lurk for BFPs.
Excuse me while I take my polite indignation elsewhere.
-
this site has been quiet enough as it is..........and all these ladies have been my saving grace...and they have been talking to me everyday and being my support.....and i cant go on the pregnancy sites so i wouldnt have anywhere to talk to them.........for me and i guess i cant speak for everyone but i have comfort in knowing about there pregnancies and sharing there experiences...because they have loads of advise and heaps of support and i dont want them to go away.......it shows that no matter how bad it can get...that there is happiness at the end of the tunnel...
Pls dont move on ladies
-
:grouphug:
I'm still here for you Melster, I'll just be keeping updates of my pg to myself.
-

Melster - Lines getting darker is a good sign. Bring on the bd bonanza! I hope your DD is ok.. I know nothing about foot and mouth. What exactly is it? Nothing serious, I hope. Poor little miss. And poor hubby too. I hope he's not giving you too much trouble hehe :)

OMG....PLZ DON'T ANYBODY LEAVE THIS THREAD I CAN'T GET THROUGH THIS JOURNEY WITH OUT YOU GUYS AND YOUR WONDERFUL SUPPORT AND KNOWLEDGE. excuse me while I have a . I don't want to offend anybody but with out hearing the day to day progress of these lovely PG ladies I would just give up hope of ever falling pragnant and not even TTC. So for all you Kell, Reet, Forshelby, Iona and anybody else I have missed please don't leave because you think you may be making it hard on me, cause as true as I sit at my pc typing this post in NO way at all have you ever made me feel 1 ounce uncomfortable on hear with your PG journey's ladies. It's ladies like you guys that make me believe and hold on to hope that it just may happen for us one day as well. So here is where I get down on my knees and beg you all pretty pretty pretty please don't leave because it has been suggested you are making us feel left out.
Anyhoo better give you all an update on me.....lol....nothing to tell really I have no idea if I have O'd yet or not really don't care atm as I'm stressing out of my god dang tree about everything right now, 5 kids in the house really is driving me bloody insane especially the 3 boys none do as thier told only my DD and the other girl that is staying with us the boys are constantly back chatting us adults and it's driving me nuts, I feel like running away and hiding with the arguing that keeps going on between the MIL, FIL and kids. I don't cope well with arguments at all. But I did go to the DR this morning and had my BT done she took 2 viles of blood, I get my results Friday morning for them and DF has the form to go and have a SA done. So back to the DR friday morning for me to get an plan of attack.

Hello ladies
As you all know, this is a general chatter thread to support those who are trying to conceive after miscariage or loss. I think it's lovely that those of you who have become pregnant have stuck around to support your friends still ttc-ing, however it is also important to remember the purpose of this thread.
Anyone is invited to be part of the conversation, as long as the conversation is about ttc-ing after miscarriage or loss and the issues faced. Please keep pregnancy talk to the general pregnancy, belly buddy and pregnancy after M&L threads.
We ask you to respect these boundaries as we know it can be confronting to hear pregnancy chatter when you've just lost a bub.
But to all the pregnant mummies - please join our Pregnancy after Miscarriage or Loss thread and/or our belly buddies threads. And by all means keep popping in here to support and encourage these lovely ladies too.
If anyone has any questions about the guidelines for the TTC after M&L thread, please PM me.

don't worry clairesmummy, i will still be hanging around following your journey and hoping you get that BFP real soon sweety oxox
melstar - my DS got foot and mouth a couple of years ago but not too severly - not fun we were in isolation for 10 days which was over my study week for uni but one good thing was being at home with me 24/7 he started walking, so when he went back to daycare they were all amazed at him walking
afm - not much to report just plodding along watching the weeks roll over
-
Clairesmummy - I'll be around to support you of course, but I have to abide by the rules. As I said earlier, this is a call for the mods to make, and they've spoken. You can pm me anytime for belly stories though, lol. It's great to hear you've got your plan of attack sorted. Hoping you get the answers you need on Friday, and you get your sticky BFP soon! Ikwym about the arguing too, I hate that sort of stuff as well. How long until you have your sanity back...? hehehe
Iona - Your poor ds getting foot and mouth too.... that must have been hard being in isolation. I hope you're well. :)
-

-
Reet - Oops, emptied my inbox.
Minnie - No need to leave, really. You have every right to be here. Of course you will still be supported. Remember, freedom of speech! I think I just er.. had a moment. :grouphug: I think you revived this thread............ lol
Clairesmummy - You're welcome :) I'll be around stalking you of course. Oh and Reet is a great stalker. She stalked me reeeeal good back in the old days, hahaha. :)
-
Minnie your point was valid & has actually been an issue before so please know you are not the only person to have felt this way. Many have & do but just haven't spoken up on the boards.
Nobody wants your pregnancies to not be spoken of - but to be mindful that it may be painful to read about pregnancies when in a thread TTC. The daily trials of pregnancy after miscarriage are massive & very difficult. That is why we have a thread to disvcuss them.
Nobody wants or is suggesting that once pregnant you leave this thread - just that the discussions of u/s etc etc can be confronting & difficult to some.
It's about trying to be as respectful as we possibly can.
We know that as women who have been through much with the loss of your pregnancies that you will understand this & show compassion to why we make these decisions as a moderating team.
With love. xxx
-
thanks Inanna, you said what i was trying to say perfectly, i absolutely don't want you girls to leave, that wasn't what i was trying to say, i love hearing the updates to (it was so lovely to follow dory along and i want that with you girls too), i just felt the majority of the discussion had moved away from the ttc issues.....
forshelby: it seems i got the list moving again but i wish it was under different circumstances !
thanks for those who said i was still welcome here, i still think i shall lay low and take a break while i dust myself off
-
I am sure everyone understands now what was meant now Minnie & I trust everyone can just continue on whilst being mindful to keep pregnancy chatter in the pregnancy after loss thread.
-
Thanks girls, keep your inboxs clear my dear's you may all receive a pm on friday. I will either be feeling confident about my DRs plan or I will be falling to peices over bad news. Sorry I went MIA for a few days I'm having a rough time here at the moment but I'm counting the days down until I get my home back to it's usual peaceful self which will be this Sunday. I hope I get my BFP soon so I can join all of you in the other threads. It will be so quiet in here with out you all but I will feel at ease knowing you are all keeping a hopefully very close eye on me......lol.....LOVE YOU ALL ladies and I can't thank you all enough for being such a wonderful strong support to me and my adventures in TTC your knowledge you have all passed onto me and probably hopefully keep passing onto me is truly worth it's weight in gold and diamonds. How's the egg hunt and sausage sizzle going for you.....lol.....hope your body's playing by your rules this month darl.........it's sounding like O time is very close for you now........Love the chant you have to keep AF away darl, way to go. How was your wine tasting trip and week end away?
-
Dont be sad clairesmummy- we will all be keeping a very watchful eye over u girls. And trust me we wont be able to resist posting! :) x
-
That's very reassuring to know Reet thank you.
Well not sure WTH is going on with me this month got my +OPK on CD10 so I should of O'd on CD12-CD14 have had and still have lots of CM and it has turned creamy today, and noticed tonight when going to lean over the table for something and while getting undressed I realised my BBs are a little on the tender side. I'm not convinced I have even O'd this month as yet, I really have no idea what so ever. Tired of waiting, already, for BT results and it hasn't even been 24hours since they took them.....sad yes I know......I reckon I must be the most impatient person in the world.....lol....my temps are saying I haven't O'd yet but then my DR tells me don't rely on my temps as they are not reliable for all women. AAHHHHH so confused, DF's all geared up and ready to do his SA and he is being so supportive to me and I just don't feel worthy of it some days. Guess I will know more either Friday or when AF arrives yet a bloody gain........gggrrrrrrrrr..........
-
Hi all, have been MIA for a bit... we've had a month where DD has had every bug going and DH and I have caught some of them *cough*! Also started a new job.
Hmmm, tricky to respond to the whole "pg and staying on in the thread" issue. I've been there myself- pg and stayed on a bit...then of course i had another mc and now the shoe is on the other foot; i'm TTC again. I know that I found it hard to leave completely when i was (briefly) pg. I also have felt sad at the thought of the pg ladies leading when they have been strong supports until they got their BFPs and was keen for people to stick around and l loved hearing updates. But at the same time, just by (lovely) chance, a lot of ladies got BFPs at once and suddenly instead of one BFPer hanging around to inspire the rest of us, there were about six lucky ladies which is fab but... at one point there was so much pg chatter the thought did cross my mind that "gee, it's feeling more like a pg thread in here". So i know where Minnie is coming from... but i don't want to lose touch with the lovely ladies who have stuck around either cos i value the support so I dunno what the answer is! (I'm fence sitting a bit here i know!!!) :dunno:
Any hoo.... AFM: Had U/S today. All looking good. Eggie ready to pop from right ovary. I've got the green light to TTC again but... not sure if I will. Just started new job. Stressed at the idea of springing a pg on my new boss if i get UTD quickly (and the dang thing actually sticks!) Also, i wouldn't be entitled to maternity leave if i'm in the job less than 12mths. I don't want to miss out on paid leave or lose the job. They might be nice and let me have it anyway but they would be within their rights to just employ someone else. I dont' know what to do. On top of which, one of my really good friends just got a BFP. I was due to have my 2nd child a few months after she had hers (but i lost it and then another later on) and now she's potentially UTD with number three before i've even managed to get number 2. :( I'm happy for her but... *sigh*... unhappy for myself. SOrry for lack of persies. WIll catch up soon.
-
Just wanted to say that I didn't have a problem with all the PG ladies still posting in here either :)
I have found you all incredibly supportive xx
-
minniemouse - I actually understand how you feel. If I can advise something, maybe you can check out LTTC after m/c loss thread. This one seems more focused on TTC than pregnancy, you may be more comfortable there. I know I was.
Ladies, it is LONELY in the PAML thread!!!! Come over there. It is for people like us, pregnant but not believing it, scared that it will go away....
-
I think it's time for a fresh start. You will find the new thread HERE...
