My doctor (the fertility specialist) said I may bleed for up to a week afterwards but not to worry.. he said resume ttc whenever I please, although leave it at least 24 hours as I had a huge dose of anaesthetic and might just drop to sleep! LOL
I asked about horse riding, he winked and said "you can ride Rachel, just not on a horse for a little while..." I was confused and tired so said "what the hell else would I ride" and he replied "I thought this operation was to help you conceive, not horse ride".. I then said "OOOOH" in an overstated tone and went all red... to which he laughed and said "fertility is my area, not riding a horse, but no I wouldnt advise cantering down the beach just yet due to your stitches, your husband may be more gentle with you though".

    I felt SO STUPID!
As for the period thing, this is confusing as he said "the bleeding may bring on your period or it may not... and you may find your period comes as usual"... NOW IM CONFUSED! so I am leaving it all till my next period arrives THEN IM GOING FOR IT... LIKE GALLOPING!! ONLY IN THE BEDROOM!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA girls! Just a quick update for you all. My temp is still up which is promising, but I've still been getting BFN's on the stupid sticks (3 different brands too).

I guess I'll just wait until tomorrow now when AF is due. My temp will probably tell me all I need to know in the morning.

    *hugs* to you all!

    Hi lovely ladies,

Fificlaire - welcome, I hope your time here is very short, you cannot get a more supportive group of ladies... I agree with the others - get a BT as it may be your HCG levels reducing from the prev pg - best of luck

Chappas - bugge, bugger, bugger why do cycles do that.... give you BFN and make your AF very overdue.... it makes no sense to me (this happened to me last mth)

Jen - BD is a priority this weekend - have fun

Babyfever - sorry to hear your grandpa is unwell - of course your supposed to feel sad even when you are a nurse...

Rachel - I had to giggle reading your post... dont be embarrased, you have been through alot, I am sure the FS would have a had a giggle too

Tempus - good luck for your U/S hope all is fine

KL - temps are looking good - a steady predictable pattern in comparison with the previous months this is your month

AFM - just went shopping bought nothing though... I am like that I really like something but talk myself out of buying it. I have to take DH shopping with me to buy anything - he ends up forcing me out of frustration

I also bought a TTC magazine???? 1st time I have seen one of these. I wil have a read and let you know if it is any good, shouldn't have bought it as I am supposed to not be obsessing about all this

Are any ladies going to the chat room tonight???

Morning girls! I'm sitting here in a pitch black motel room catching up on posts. Can't seem to get to the chat room, I guess Java isn't installed on the laptop, but can't install it now because it will affect the speed of the computer. So I guess no chat for me this am! And no coffee, either--how can my day begin without a chat and a cup of coffee????? Will be back in a few for persies...

smilanatu--Isn't it amazing how quickly our kids grow? My eldest DS is off to high school this year, too! All I can do is cringe--I remember the trouble I was getting into in 9th grade, and I'll have to give him a nice, swift, kick in the arse if he even thinks of being like me!!! Hope you enjoy your girls day with your daughter!!

Babyfever--I'm sorry to hear about your Grandpa with pancreatic cancer I used to work in the front office of a dr's office, and would get quite attached to the patients, so I can definitely understand how difficult it would be if it were family! Sending you big

Rachel--Well, if you're waiting until after AF to begin TTC again, then I hope AF comes as quick as possible (there's a change!) Then you're off and galloping towards your BFP!!!

tempus--:goodluck2: with your FS appt. and u/s!!!

Krystie-- Damn those broken tests! Your temp is still nice and high, tho... higher than this day in previous cycles, too! I'm with Angel, sitting in the corner waiting for your BFP!!! I've been missing you in the chat room! *kiss*

In fact its VERY quiet on here tonight.... seems like most people are involved in a thread about IVF... its getting quite heated... but other than that... our little thread here is very quiet....

Maybe everyone thought... ohhhh Jen wont be there... I ll wait for her to get back.... ORRRRRRR... maybe.. just maybe... they actually have a life on Saturday night...

Easha--Grrr! I do the same thing when buying something for myself! I usually end up putting my stuff back and getting something for DF or one of the kids instead--it's pretty maddening!! My stuff is usually all from the clearance racks! I really enjoyed chatting with you the other morning!

AJC-- Hope things are well with you! Lot's of coming your way!

mollycat--Hey, hon, haven't checked your chart out... was wondering about those temps of yours and how they're doing.... Did you ever get out to buy a test? My for you!

pbstar & tutmae--Still for you both! So happy you both got your BFP's!

Angel--Thinking of you and missing chatting with you! I need my daily dose of Angel!! At least I'm sitting in the corner with you waiting for Pill Girl's BFP!!! Anything exciting going on? I'm all pretzeled up for you!

Hi Jen - hope your enjoying your holidays - those shared rooms can be a little bit tricky can't they Temps still looking good - though not sure about todays - I had the worst night, i've come down with a cold (wonder where I got that from), didn't sleep very much and every time I did started having bad dreams. So either my nose is blocked or it runs - take your pick, i just feel really stuffy in the head. DH and DS got up about 3.45 this morning to go fishing and I think i finally fell back to sleep about 6.30 - i obviously didn't get much cause I was awake again at 7.15. So, I'm not sure what the temp can make of all that. I chickened out of buying a test yesterday, I don't want to see a BFN although Angel's theory is great, at least it would prepare me for AF. I might just cave in and get one today that way I know what i can take for this cold. At the moment i'm taking nothing.

Rachelswirl - looks like you have to do your riding indoors for a while (better put up the stirrups) - at least your doctor has a sense of humour.

KL - can't believe those tests won't work again. Have you noticed how many faulty ones there are in this thread.
