Babyfever I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather my grandfather passed of bone cancer in 2006 I was holding his hand the last time he open his eyes so I know how had it is watching somebody go so quickly I'm praying for you and your family sweetie stay strong esp for your grandmother ... and I ttc right after my m/c but I didnt get pg and still have not I have heard of women having h&h pg after falling pg right after an m/c goodluck with everything again I'm praying for you sweetie ...
-
Thank you Toccara for your support. I can't believe how fast he is going, I know its alot harder on my grandmother right now than it is for me its so sad for her to have to deal with this. I saw him at the hospital on Friday, and I was so scared to go near him even though I knew he was on pain meds and was pretty knocked out, My mom and grandma were like rub his shoulder and he will wake up and talk to you, I rubbed his hair through my fingers a bit and at the end I kissed him on the forhead said I love you. And my mom managed to wake him up to say bye, hes like hello. than out he was..
-
Hey girls! We made it home... I'm sitting here catching up right now, and will be back soon for persies. I fell back to sleep this am, so only got a few done...
-
Krystie--Nuff nuffs, eh? That's a new one! Good luck booking your accupuncture appt--you're such a sweet talker, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting an earlier one!! ;) I'm sorry again about AF--that biaaaatch!!
Thanks for checking out my chart... it does look nice, doesn't it? And, yes, DF is being a good little soldier--I thought I was going to be a$$ out last night, but he surprised me with 8 minutes to spare!
Oh, tell DH MM for sure! Knott's is more like a little country town...not many rides unless they were kiddie rides. It's was a cute place, but if DH and DSS's are after the rides, then it's gotta be MM or bust! One cool thing about it was there was shopping outside of Knott's, so you could browse thru the stores without having to pay admission. Ooooh, I'm :crossfingers: that you'll make it out here!!! Just to warn you, I'm a big sook, so I'll probably :crying: You'll have to dose up on those smart arse pills before we meet, so you'll have me  instead!
Babyfever--Yay for O!! Hope your TWW ends with a BFP! I was very impatient to get started TTC right away after my m/c, despite my dr. telling me to wait 2 mo's. I think your body will let it happen when it's ready--this is my 6th cycle since mine, but others have fallen pg the next cycle after. I'm  for a short TTC journey for you! So sorry again about your g-pa, I pray he's as comfortable as can be... my dad passed away from a brain tumor, but he lived in Florida, and I live in California--it wasn't possible for me to go visit him first. I'm at least grateful you get to say your goodbyes, even though it's tough.
-
-
Chappas--Sorry you were feeling so down, I'm glad to hear you're starting to feel better. How sweet that DH took you out for dinner, I'm happy you enjoyed a night out for some cheering up!
Angel--Hey, you nuff nuff! That's a great one, isn't it? So happy to see Pill Girl's still managing to keep her sense of humor! Big :grouphug: and hope to see you in the chat room when I wake up!
Rachel--Enjoy your holidays! Look forward to catching up when you return! Be safe!
smilanatu--So are you :excited: that the kids are going back to school tomorrow? I'll be jumping up and down doing cartwheels when my kids go back! Actually, that means I have to go back to work, so I'm not all that excited about that part! But I can't really complain, it's only 3 days a week and 1 1/2 hour each day--but it is a bunch of kids I have to deal with!! And I can't bend any of them over my knee for a spanking when they're bad!
Ruthie--You've been awfully quiet, girl! Hope things are going well with you and your little bub! :stickyvibesgirl:
-
Hey mollycat! Sending lots of positive vibes and BFP dust your way! :goodluck2:
:hello: and  to everyone! Loads of :bluedust: :pink-babydust: for all of us TTC'ers! And for our preggie friends bucket loads of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
:goodluck2: with all those BFP's that I'm sure are soon to come this month! Go August!!
Ok, girls, I'm off to beddie-bye. Will be back bright and early, or dark and late--depending on how you look at it! Nighty night!

Hello Ladies,
Just popped in to say hi and thank you for your thoughts and yet more words of support. As well as being harder emotionally, this m/c and d&c has taken a lot more from me physically too. Have had much heavier bleeding and cramping (sorry if tmi)- quite heavy until last night. Woke up this morning and it has almost stopped completely o/night - down to very minimal spotting which is surprising but def not complaining. Am taking an iron supplement to help as I was feeling a bit lightheaded.
Had a good appt with Dr A last Fri (thank you for remembering Jen!) - results of recurrent m/c bt all came back completely fine which is good but a bit of a bugger iykwim... she explained the additional findings of the u/s, referred me to a counsellor - we also talked about my ob and Dr A said her reputation is that she is brilliant at being an ob but is not renowned for "hand holding". Have decided that next pg (in at least 150 years time) will prob stay with ob but get additional support from Dr A. Not much else to do now than wait until 26 Sept for follow up ob appt and results from testing on bub.....
Just had my good friend pop in - she turned up on my door step with a couple of coffees, yummy cake, tears in her eyes and lots of hugs. We sat and cried together about it all but a few hours later when she left she had me smiling and feeling hopeful. I hope you all have someone like my friend Chez in real life ...
Krystielove - thank you for your comments about going back on the pill - I really appreciate your advice and it def made me take a moment to sit and think about it. I was keen to go back on bcoz it felt like a bit of extra buffer I could put between myself and thinking about ttc but I would hate to go back on for a few months, come off and then wait months to start o again... that would suck more. So thank you again. And I am so sorry to hear witchface AF showed up at your place... I hope you are feeling ok. It sounds like dh is being a sweetie though - hang onto that one he sounds like a gem! Also - hope you were able to get an acup appt...
Jen - glad you are enjoying your holiday and good work at managing some well-timed nookie! How did you make sure ds didn't wake up tho? ;)
sandygirl - sorry to hear af is on the way too... take some time out to look after yourself and find some strength and gl with the clomid for next cycle
Babyfever - thanks for all the info on your supplements ... so sorry to hear about your grandfather too...
Chappas and Rachel - enjoy your upcoming hols. They are the best distraction from the ttc merry-go-round :)
Everyone else - great big  and tonnes of :pink-babydust::bluedust: - think positive ladies and just imagine sitting down with your future bubs when they're older and telling them just how much you dreamed of them before they were here... it is going to happen:grouphug:
-
Babyfever- So sorry about your grandfather  Good luck with the 2ww
Jen- Thanx, Hope you caught that eggie whilst away.
Jenushka- Good to hear from you, so glad you had your friend to make you smile you really need some support at the moment. Take care of yourself big
-
jenushka- wow that last sentence of yours gave me goosebumps and tears...just what i needed to hear today. really good to hear from you and so glad to hear the bleeding is finally lightening up for you. thinking of you and  for you always and sending lots of hugs. glad to hear you have such a great friend to lean on at the moment.
thanks again issy- you are a sweetheart and yes i guess maybe we can celebrate now...so af still hasn't shown? well i am  she stays away and we can be belly buddies now. if not then happy just to be buddies anyway
KL- stupid bfmffff! i know how hard it is but please hang in there, your bfp is just around the corner. big hugs for you.
jen- so are you officially in the tww now? for some good news for you hun
angel- how is your tww going? not long til testing!!
mollycat- how are you hun? did you test yet?
as always i am thinking of you all and  for your BFP's, sending lots of :stickyvibesgirl::pink-babydust:for everyone
AFM- all going well so far. had BT today and will get results tomorrow. got forms for another 3 as well so i can check my levels are rising. am sure i will be back tomorrow for help analysing if the levels are ok...still doing miscarriage prevention herbs which are totally foul but helping me feel positive that this will work out this time.
 to everyone and hope you are all well.
-
PB - thanks for asking - still haven't tested. Temp went down a little this morning, still above coverline so i'll wait until the morning and see what happens there. No signs of AF showing up yet, but I still feel yuck with this cold. My voice is so crackly, good thing it's almost bed time, maybe with some rest i'll get it back properly before the kids come in again tomorrow.
Babyfever - sorry to hear about your grandfather
Jenushka - your friend sounds like someone you would love to have around in times of trouble. Unfortunately a lot of people avoid you at times like these cause they just don't understand. This friend sounds great.
Smilanatu - hope you enjoyed your "girls" day. It's always the best when the kids go back to school. It's great having them home, but always better to send them back to school
Rachel - enjoy your holidays and watch out for the "horse" riding.
Jen - glad your back from your holiday and don't have to sit in the dark to chat with us anymore. Hope you caught that little eggy.
-
Evening lovely ladies,
Issy - are you saying I should shut right up about the freezing 14 degrees... I certainly should not complain if your sitting in 6 degree temp
Sandy - bugger about AF.... you will fall next month
KL - the mag was called Making Babies - it seems it was a once off sponsored by Elevit. Pretty interesting and had alot of article on all the options. It also had some life stories. - not bad. Good luck with the acupuncturist
Rachelswirl and Chappas - have an awesome time on Hol's..... we will miss you while your gone
Babyfever - gees you have many pills to take - how much is this all costing??? I suppose it doesn't matter if the end result is :bfp: I cant comment on falling straight after MC as I waited a few month.... I also have not heard of other either - you could start the trend though !!
Jen - great to hear from you. You are such an inspirational women... even when you are going through hell you say the nicest, most uplifitng things - thank you for being you
PBstar - cant wait for the BT results tomorrow:dance:
Mollystar - :crossfingers: for you in the morning
AFM - 7 days till I find out the outcome of our snow adventures.... I must admit I had the worst sleep last night as I woke with really low, deep abdominal pains that lasted for about 3 hours - very weird AF type cramps but in the area just above the puubs (spelling??). I am so  this is our month.... the due date would close to 1 yr after my angel baby was due :(
-
Thank you all for you kind words.
I went to the doc this morning and he said it is unlikely to be a true pregnancy, he has taken some blood to see what my levels are, he said if they are low/negetive then it is just still hormone from last time, but if they are high, he will book me in for another blood test in 2 weeks to see if they are still rising.
Get my results wednesday, so keeping everything crossed till then
will let you all know how it goes.
Again - thank you, it's a comfort to know i'm not alone and have somewhere i can share.
XX:hug:
-
Hi girls,
pbstar - Im sooooo glad to hear eveything is ok...I was thinking about you yesterday and hoping everything was ok with you (I knew it would be....did I tell you im psychic? ;))
I cant wait to hear about those sky high numbers that are on their way :) You certainly have made my week! AFM - Im too chicken to POAS yet, Im not due till friday so I wont POAS till then, and I dont think I will need to anyway as im sooooo sure AF is on her way :( Oh well, Im very willing to wait a few more months, infact it would be better if it was in a few months as this would make it easier with uni..only have 10 months to go, and I really need to finish it, im very much over study
Looking forward to the good news tomorrow hun!
Easha - Anything under 18 is cold for me....I am a sook in the cold weather, I only like it if im snuggled under a blanket, by the fire, with my flannies, slippers and a hot chocolate with at least 3 marshmellows....now thats what Im talkin about ;)!
Krystie - Thanks for asking about me hun...all good here, just in the last few days of the tww and soooo sure AF is just around the corner  But on the bright side....im no longer a smelly homeless women...I now smell like roses...well, maybe not roses, but certainly better than the garbage bin!
Sorry for lack of persies lately...the study load is taking hold and computer time is now dedicated to research and planning....NOT FUN! But ill bbl tomorrow for more persies. Im thinking of you all...sending huge  to everyone!
Issy

:pink-babydust::bluedust:
:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
C'mon gurlies...last month was quite a "dry" spell for BFP...crack those whips and Git 'er done this time around LOL
:goodluck2: catching those :sperm:
-
jenushka--In answer to your question, separate beds and a pillow to muffle any noise! The tricky part is the smacking sound--haven't figured out how to keep that one quiet! Luckily, hotels always have really loud air conditioners!
I'm glad to hear your bleeding is lightening--isn't it crazy how it can be super heavy one day and almost nothing the next? I agree, tho, no complaints there!
I know what you mean about the BT results. Part of you is relieved that nothing was wrong, but the other half wants answers as to why it happened... It's so frustrating! Good luck with your f/u appt. on 9/26. I'm so grateful you have such a great friend to be there supporting you! You really need to just surround yourself with as much support as possible! Wish I could give you this in person... but I guess a cyber one will have to do! Take care of yourself!
Chappas--Thanks, hon! My :crossfingers: for you for this cycle!
pbstar--Oooh, your EDD is 4/19--my DS's b-day is 4/22! Can't wait to hear your BT results! And, yes, as of this am, I'm officially 3 DPO and in the never-ending :2ww: As always, lots of :stickyvibesgirl: coming your way!
-
mollycat--Can't wait to see your temp this am! :crossfingers: it's a high one! I'm so glad to be back from my trip--I had a great time, and I love staying in hotels.... but having to sit in the dark, and being unable to chat--and no coffee for 2 days... I'm sure glad to be home! Got my fix this am--coffee and a chat... (and a coverline to boot!) it's going to be a good day!
Easha--I'm anticipating the outcome of your snow adventure!! :crossfingers: Hoping those abdominal pains are from implantation! Your :bd: days look great! Did FF give you a high chance of conception?
fifi--:goodluck2: with your BT results on Wed!! I'm  it's a BFP!!!
issy--Ok, I'm surrounding you with my anti-flo force field! for a BFP for you on Friday!!
smi--See, I can't get that look! I'm considered the "softie"--if I get mad at anyone, I have to sic Maggie on them! The kids all know they can't get away with anything when it comes to Maggie! But I have to admit, I get lots of  and I can't even go to Wal-Mart without hearing a little voice saying "hi miss jenny!". It's actually very rewarding!
Glad to hear you enjoyed your girlie day! And kids are off to school-- woot! woot! I just came to the realization this am that when my kids go back, it's really going to interfere with my chat sessions! Grrr! It's a catch 22!
-
Hey Snitch, I'm just going to start calling you my other half of Nuff! Hope you have a safe trip--don't forget your laptop!! Oh, and that BFN... forgettaboutit (said in my best gangster accent) just too early! Don't forget a camera for your Friday night outing--I'm super excited for you girls! You could always send me a ticket and I'll join you!
PG (short for Pill Girl--Thanks again for the e-mail--I'll forever be comparing DF's nips to Drew's!
:goodluck2: with your A appointment, you sweet talker, you! *kiss*
:hello: Toccara!
Van--I know you're on a break, but thought you might check in by now. Hope things are going well with you! You're never far from my thoughts!
-
Hi's and hugs to tempus, joey, Sandygirl, Sandy, babyfever, larz, Rach, Acria, LJ, Rachel, Jodsan, and treelo :bluedust: :pink-babydust:
WTH--Always in my heart, thoughts, and
BG--You've been MIA! Hope all is well with you!
megsmum--How's it going cycle buddy? I've got my :crossfingers: for you!!
tutmae--Hey my pg friend! Missing you! *kiss*
tina, Ruthie, pbstar, plc, AJC, Katiegirl, rainbowgirl, bettyboop, SaraJane, mmteacher, nickster, Emmy-Lou, Canary, Anothonysmom, and Mel :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Oooh, I really hope I didn't forget anyone! Please tell me if I did! Ok, time for me to get ready to run my errands. Have a great day ladies!
-
Hi all... I hope your all doing ok. Gosh its so hard to keep up with this place.. so much going on!
Hubby and I are just tidying up house a bit before starting packing. I have this thing about leaving the house tidy before we go on holiday, husband keeps saying things such as "seriously the burglars won't give a damn if its dusty". .. However, I'd much prefer it to be clean when I get home.
As for TTC, well I aint even bothered doing 'anything' with husband recently due to pain after operation. It is easing now, the only thing which is bothering me is my belly button, its all tight and sore. My Mum (luckily) being a nurse on the ward which I was on has had a look and has told me its completely normal... seriously though, try sneezing without bending or tensing your stomach muscles- IMPOSSIBLE! You only end up farting which is more embarassing than jumping around shouting "ow ow ow"... The pressure has to be relieved somehow rofl!
I am considering starting to write a list of things to pack but then I think.. well why not just start throwing things into the case and then do a second and third draft once its all done? E.G Trying to get the weight so it is within their ridiculous limits... BUT A GIRL NEEDS HAIR STRAIGHTENERS, A HAIR DRYER, FOUR SETS OF SHOES, TWELVE PAIRS OF SHORTS, FIFTEEN TOPS AND TWELVE DRESSES! Thats not even counting underwear!
I will pack my folic acid though, I pulled out my thermometer today and my folic acid and decided to make a start... hmm is it worth it? We will see!
-
Pbstar-I hope your BT results come back very good and your numbers are doubling. What herbs are you on that are for the miscarriage prevention I'm curious?
EAsha- Oh I  that this is your cycle hun
Jen- YAY for coverline!
-
Rachel--You've got me  Oh, but I remember that pain from when I had my Appendectomy! You can't even laugh without pressing a pillow against your stomach! So sorry that I found some humor in your pain, but that was truly funny! :cryinglaugh: Only because I SOOOO know what you mean! *cringing* Hope you feel completely better so you can enjoy your hols! Have a safe one! Hope you meet the weight limit with everything you're planning on bringing--just forget the underwear--it's easier access without them! Commando style! ;)
Babyfever-- for you and  for g-pa! You're both in my  Oh, hey, I was just about to send the post thru, and I realized we're cycle buddies! You're 2DPO, I'm 3DPO! :cheer:
-
Does anyone know how I would fix my ticker? It says O today, but it should say 3 DPO? Thanks!
Never mind--figured it out! :cheer:
-
Jen - YAY for coverline and "high" scores. that this will be the month for you.
Rachel - at least you got your priorities right - Rachel's list to pack - 1. thermometer 2. folic acid. 3. shoes etc. etc. remember Jen said don't worry about the underwear if it won't fit.
AFM - my temp dropped yet again, so I guess now its just a matter of time - although I woke up with hardly any blankets on (guess who had them all??????) so maybe it was just that - very wishful thinking. LOL.
Still feel like I have razor blades in the back of my throat and voice level is hardly above a whisper, should be very interesting with five kids in care today - and I have a new parent interview - for my last spot on a wednesday.
Must head off and get ready for the day now. My first is in at 7.30 and once he's here I can't do much, (he's the little one still getting used to leaving mum).
I'll try and pop back in later
:bluedust::pink-babydust::stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: to all of us
-
I have made some biscuits tonight.. thought Id come on here and share them..
gingery cooky topped with lemon icing anyone?
-
morning girls
mollycat- how is temp this morning? i'm still hoping you get your BFP this month, have heard of lots of people getting cold symptoms in early preg, maybe it's a good sign?
issy- i felt like af was coming all last week and it didn't, so don't lose hope because of that! glad to hear i made your week, now you just have to make mine!
angel/snitch/nuffnuff- i got 3 BFN's last week before the BFP so don't lose heart because of that. hope you enjoy the snow!
easha- those cramps sound promising, i had those during my tww too. for you hun
jen- april seems so far away, i guess i will get there eventually, one day at a time! lots of :stickyvibesgirl: to you for your tww
babyfever- my herbalist makes her own herbs up so no idea what is in them. i am on "H" herbs which stands for holding as in holding onto the baby. i also mix them with her "glue" which is made from boiled red dates, goji berries and deer antelope. sounds strange but whatever works hey? i am on liquid "H" now morning and night and granule "H" at midday...the granule is like a strong tea but the liquid is like thick brown goo, she said it is the same stuff as the granule but about 50 times stronger...
anyway girls, better run, will be back later to let you know my BT results...oh quick question for everyone- when do you think i should go and do the second BT?
-
mollycat- just saw your post, bummer about temp but let's blame it on DH stealing blankets. hope your busy day is ok and you start to feel better soon
-
mollycat--Aww, sorry to hear you're still feeling cr@ppy! Couldn't you have just taken the day off to recover? I guess you probably caught it from one of your d/c kids, so it doesn't make much sense to stay away from them, huh? I remember my mom's kids were always sharing colds--my mom always took so many vitamins, tho, she was rarely ever sick. Hope you feel better soon, any chance you can rest while the kids are napping?
Don't give up yet for this month--I'm  AF can't break thru my force field!! :crossfingers:
Rachel--Oh me! Me! I want one! :excited:
-
Oops, I didn't mean to send that thru yet--wasn't done!
pbstar--April will be here before you know it! You get to kick back, relax and enjoy it for now! Can't wait to hear your BT results!
-
Jen - your force field is still in place (so far). Thought about taking the day off and if I wasn't having this new parent interview this morning I probably would have. But you're right, I probably caught it off one of the kids, i've had one with runny nose for a couple of months and another who has had a cold on and off for a few weeks (at the moment he's clear). I dose up on vitamins all the time as well and hardly ever get sick, this is about as bad as it gets, at least there's no headache, just runny nose and slightly sore and gaggy throat. My voice is so crackly so i'll have to try not to talk much today. I rarely (touch wood) get anything else that goes around. We also eat heaps of garlic so that keeps colds at bay as well. Don't know how much rest time i'll get - i tried yesterday and then the phone wouldn't stop ringing. At least i'm down to 4 kids today, one of their mums is sick with the flu and she's keeping her dd at home (she also works in child care - but in a centre with babies).
I've just put my little one in bed, so hopefully he will wake up happier - he wasn't very happy that mum left him this morning, although I did get him to stop crying and we read books for a while.
Rachel - I'll put the kettle on and share a biscuit with you and Jen
-
Over the MOON FOLKS!!!! no.. Im not pregnant but YES I have just been told I can now help out every sunday at stables! So I now get to spend more time with the big guys!
-
New thread time lovely ladies. All the best.
