Morning girls! I'm sitting here in a pitch black motel room catching up on posts. Can't seem to get to the chat room, I guess Java isn't installed on the laptop, but can't install it now because it will affect the speed of the computer. So I guess no chat for me this am! :( And no coffee, either--how can my day begin without a chat and a cup of coffee????? Will be back in a few for persies...
smilanatu--Isn't it amazing how quickly our kids grow? My eldest DS is off to high school this year, too! :o All I can do is cringe--I remember the trouble I was getting into in 9th grade, and I'll have to give him a nice, swift, kick in the arse if he even thinks of being like me!!! Hope you enjoy your girls day with your daughter!!
Babyfever--I'm sorry to hear about your Grandpa with pancreatic cancer :( I used to work in the front office of a dr's office, and would get quite attached to the patients, so I can definitely understand how difficult it would be if it were family! Sending you big
Rachel--Well, if you're waiting until after AF to begin TTC again, then I hope AF comes as quick as possible (there's a change!) Then you're off and galloping towards your BFP!!!
tempus--:goodluck2: with your FS appt. and u/s!!!
Krystie-- Damn those broken tests! Your temp is still nice and high, tho... higher than this day in previous cycles, too! I'm with Angel, sitting in the corner waiting for your BFP!!! I've been missing you in the chat room! *kiss*
Well I cant let you sit in a dark motel room feeling like you are all alone and missing out on something..... News flash Jen Jen... i ve been in and out of our room all night and NO ONE.. ... so you arent missing out on anything.... I can see you... "sigh of relief".....LMAO..:ROFL:
In fact its VERY quiet on here tonight.... seems like most people are involved in a thread about IVF... its getting quite heated... but other than that... our little thread here is very quiet....
Maybe everyone thought... ohhhh Jen wont be there... I ll wait for her to get back.... ORRRRRRR... maybe.. just maybe... they actually have a life on Saturday night...
Easha--Grrr! I do the same thing when buying something for myself! I usually end up putting my stuff back and getting something for DF or one of the kids instead--it's pretty maddening!! My stuff is usually all from the clearance racks! I really enjoyed chatting with you the other morning!
AJC--:hello: Hope things are well with you! Lot's of :bellyrubs: coming your way!
mollycat--Hey, hon, haven't checked your chart out... was wondering about those temps of yours and how they're doing.... Did you ever get out to buy a test? My :crossfingers: for you!
pbstar & tutmae--Still :cheer: for you both! So happy you both got your BFP's! :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Angel--Thinking of you and missing chatting with you! I need my daily dose of Angel!! At least I'm sitting in the corner with you waiting for Pill Girl's BFP!!! Anything exciting going on? I'm all pretzeled up for you!
Yay, Angel, I'm so glad you're still awake! It's bad enough without coffee and a chat, but no Angel?? :wall: I noticed that it's been quiet since yesterday--must be coz everyon'e missing me and my charm--not coz they have a life!
Ummmm thats it... they do have a life but they are missing your charm... yep.. you ve got it.... goodness.. this is weird... i have to wait for a reply.... normally your already typing before you even know what i m saying:ROFL:
I know, I know... we've become spoiled by the chat room! So anything interesting going on with you?
ok... well bad news Jen Jen........ Cant stick around.... Finally FINALLY got all my paperwork up to date...... it has taken weeks..... and now, with my eyes hanging out of my head.... its time for me to go home..... have to be back here at work again in 9 hours......
Enjoy your break.... and remember...... "Night fever Night fever... you know how to do it..... " ....... you best be makin the most of this trip and BD "All Night Long........ohhh yeah...... All Night Long...":ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
Hey... MR Jen Jen... WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!
Angel--He came through for me last night, and I'm sure I O'ed yesterday... so gotta try to get one more :bd: session in sometime today! (oink! oink! ) It's pretty tricky when DS is sharing a room with us, but at least he has his own bed! Ok, hon, will talk to you later!
Thank you for all of your comments, its so nice to know i;m not alone.
I have a doc appointment booked for monday morning.
Just little things that are happened that are making me get my hopes up.
I hope with all my heart and soul that this is a BFP, but i guess time will tell.
Thank you so much for your kind words
xxxxxx:pray:
Hi Jen - hope your enjoying your holidays - those shared rooms can be a little bit tricky can't they :p Temps still looking good - though not sure about todays - I had the worst night, i've come down with a cold (wonder where I got that from), didn't sleep very much and every time I did started having bad dreams. So either my nose is blocked or it runs - take your pick, i just feel really stuffy in the head. DH and DS got up about 3.45 this morning to go fishing and I think i finally fell back to sleep about 6.30 - i obviously didn't get much cause I was awake again at 7.15. So, I'm not sure what the temp can make of all that. I chickened out of buying a test yesterday, I don't want to see a BFN although Angel's theory is great, at least it would prepare me for AF. I might just cave in and get one today that way I know what i can take for this cold. At the moment i'm taking nothing.
Rachelswirl - looks like you have to do your riding indoors for a while (better put up the stirrups) - at least your doctor has a sense of humour.
KL - can't believe those tests won't work again. Have you noticed how many faulty ones there are in this thread.
As for stirrups.. now dont laugh but when I was asleep under the anaesthetic.. I had the most awesome dream about riding along the beach.. it was great until I slipped out of the stirrups on one side and had to correct myself.
I was asked when I woke up if I was comfortable and if I'd had a nice sleep... then I was asked "what were you dreaming about as you kept shifting about and then your foot slipped out of the stirrups which hold up yours legs during the op"... HOW WEIRD!
I did go on chat for about 10 mins last night but i was the only one in the room :( sorry i missed you bb.
mollycat--Hmm...your temp was nice and high today! Even with all the broken sleep, your temp probably would've been lower instead of higher....so I say it's about time to go buy that test, don't you think? How many CD's is norm for you? Your ticker says 25 days, and that you're on CD28--is AF really 3 days late??? Cuz if so, I definitely say it's time to POAS!! Sorry to hear about your runny/stuffy nose. That's the worst, especially when your nose is so stuffed up you can't even feel that it's running until it's dripping onto your lip! Ewww! Hope it's not that bad for you!
Rachel--That's so weird about your dream! At least it was only your foot that slipped out of the stirrup, and not you falling off the table!
:hello: plc!! What's going on with you and your sticky little bub? Hope things are well! Sending :stickyvibesgirl: and :bellyrubs:
tutmae--Haven't heard much from you lately--I'm missin' you, girl! Hope things are going well! :stickyvibesgirl:
pbstar--And some for you! :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Hi Jen - usually cycle is between 26-28 days so that means AF is due tomorrow. The last few cycles have been a little bit longer. Nose is not quite that bad, just yuck and sore from blowing - i usually only buy cheap tissues, cause I go through a lot with the day care kids, but have just gone and bought me a pack of really soft ones.
I'll see what I can do today about buying a test. I had a phone call from my friends DH this morning to see if we want to go fishing. DH and DS1 are already fishing with another mate, so DS2 and I are going with these friends, they have a son the same age as DS2, so we're packing a picnic and the kids bikes and things and we'll have a day out. We just have a slight technical hitch at the moment, our "spare" car (one we have for sale) is the last one in and wouldn't you know it, I can't get it to start so I can get mine out. Hopefully my friends hubby will be able to move it.
PLC - Where's your ticker?
Rachel - that's so funny about dreaming while you have your op. They were lucky you didn't get off that horse.
:hello: Toccara, megsmum, issy, chappas, Van, Sandygirl, Sandy, larz, Rach, babyfever, and BG! Thinking of you all, and sprinkling you all with :bluedust: :pink-babydust:
Sending extra special  to jenushka and WTH!
Check out how long our BFP list is getting: pbstar, tutmae, tina, Ruthie, bettyboop, SaraJane, mmteacher, nickster, rainbowgirl, Katiegirl, Mel, AJC, plc, Canary, Emmy-Lou, and Anthonysmom. :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: Wishing you all a healthy and happy pg'cy!!
joey--Hope you're having fun swooshing those slopes! Be safe!
Snitch and Pill Girl--My co-conspiritors...my partner's in crime...I'm missing our chats! :grouphug: Thinking of you girls always! *kiss*
AFM...just kicking back in the hotel right now. We were at the pool for about 3 1/2 hrs earlier today, so I think we're all a little tired from all the sun. It's a little hot, in the 80's--not quite sure what that converts to in Oz. So DF is napping, and DS is watching cartoons, so what else would I be doing but catching up with my girls? Had a few O pains this am, but definitely not like yesterday--and did you see how high my temp spiked this am? Gotta try to squeeze in one more :bd: I never seem to get the days right, and this month I think I've got a really good chance, especially since I had the help from the O strips. Just one more day... gotta get in one last time... I hope, I hope! DF's not been feeling well for a couple days now, and has been a trooper so far, but it's almost a little like pulling teeth sometimes! Can't he feel sick when I'm NOT fertile???
mollycat--Enjoy your fishing and picnic! Sounds like a relaxing way to spend your day! Catch one for me! :)
Bfmffff :(
Hi All,
Not too many people on this forum at the moment - where is everyone !!
Mollycat - cant wait to hear from you tomorrow when AF doesn't show up - any symptoms?? Hope you feel better soon and that it is warm enough for you up there in the Hunter
Rachel - your dream was so funny, lucky you didn't say giddy up or anything, you would have had the docs in hysterics
Jen - sounds great sitting by a pool. It is only 15 degrees here (56 for you) and I actually have the heater on as my legs are cold..... keep catching that :sperm::sperm:
AFM - bored, bored, bored...... had a lovely morning and went out for breakky, read the paper and did a little shopping.... now bored. DH comes home tonight yayaya :dance:
Anyhow hope thousands of you get on this afternoon so I can read through your posts
Pill GIrl..... over to the corner with us for some cuddles.....:grouphug:
That beepin... beep .. beep ba beep....beeeeeeeep...... how dare she.....
KL  how dare she show up like that  have severe words with her.
Jen - I wimped out of going fishing - the wind started to come up here and that means in Newcastle it would be really blowing and cold, but nice mother that I am, sent DS2 with our friends so he wouldn't miss out.
Easha - it's sitting on about 14degrees and coming in really yucky like it's about to rain. we've just turned the heater on. Bring on spring (don't like the hot weather either). No symptoms yet, and i've chickened out on testing yet, I just don't want to see a BFN
mollycat - you are probably getting the rain up from Syd.... we have just had a few showers and it is quite windy.
Good idea letting DS go - does that mean your home by yourself now
Hi ladies,
Just want to say....CONGRATS PBSTAR....can we celebrate now???? I knew your dark line would come and I am over the moon for you!!!!! Wish I could join you but I dont think so. Dont feel pg at all IYKWIM! Oh well, maybe ill join you next month and we can be belly buddies instead. Im soooooo happy for you hun, now sit back and enjoy it.....;)
Krystie - sorry about AF's arrival :(....(I think thats what you were talking about???)
Easha - Hi...it is quiet in here today! You sound like you had a nice morning, I spent mine in bed and Im still in my pj's watching the Olympics. Im bored too
To everyone else a big hello, sorry for the short post, but I really need to have a shower...Im starting to resemble (in both looks and smell) a homeless women....
 for all,
Issy
Wow, 4 posts were made in the time I was writing mine...you guys are quick!!!!
And just to add to the weather whinge....it was only 6 degrees here yesterday and it rained the whole day and night. So bloody cold its ridiculous!
Thanks girls. You are all very sweet. I knew I was getting BFN's, but my temp was looking so promising that I was sure it wouldn't drop this morning. But it was down to my normal pre-ovulation temp and then I started spotting. So disappointing. Had a bit of a cry and DH was a real sweetie. It's just all so unfair!!!
Easha - wasn't so lucky to get time by myself, DH and DS1 came home just before others left, so have been and done the shopping, still feeling yuck and really tired, we've had visitors in and out all afternoon so now need to set the house up and clean up again for work this week. Although if I wake up tomorrow feeling disgusting, might just take the day off, I only have three littlies in tomorrow and 1 after school, have to wait and see.
Am heading to bed, but just wanted to say Krystie, :( So sorry sweetie! You're right, your temps were so promising...  I'm glad to hear DH is being so sweet, make sure he spoils you rotten! :grouphug:
KL: Aw hon! That's crappy! Stupid damn bfmffff! I can get quite aggressive on her ass if you like. Ask anyone! I'll kick her seven ways from sunday. Hope you're taking care of yourself!
Jen: Sorry I've been quiet! Been working and playing gigs and generally not being near my computer. Maybe we should start an electro band so I can have a laptop on stage with me at all times. Hmmmm.....
PB: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
AFM: Been very busy. As I said to Jen, had a gig last night which went great!! (Except for some pervert who stood right in front of me taking pictures of my cleavage with his camera phone.... Almost kicked him in the head!! HULK SMAAAASH!). Was a bit dificult hiding Button from our friends as I'm normally the one drinking and smoking and generally being naughty, but last night I was on the water and NO smoking. Thankgoodness I'm a goos liar. I hope. Eeek. Haven't been feeling pg at all for the past few days which had me worried (aside from being dizzy and tired), but last night and today I'm feeling a bit queazy, which has relaxed me a bit. Phew. Writing a novel here, I am.
:pink-babydust::bluedust::stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesbo y: and lots of  for all you lovely ladies!!!!
Oh KL - so sorry about AF hun :( big hugs
hi Girls,
KL- Looks like I'm your cycle buddy once more. sorry, but it really sucks. I would much prefer to be your Belly Buddy.
Sorry for no other personals, but I'm not really up for it. I am still reading and thinking of you all. Here is a quick update from me:
I got a BFN:( Sat morning 13DPO. The cramping continued all through Saturday. Today I started spotting, so I suspect AF will be here in full force, tomorrow or Tuesday.
:(:(:(
If I can scrape together enough strength, i will try again this cycle with clomid.
I may just hang around lurking for a while. Thanks for everyone's great support.
sandygirl - have been thinking of you, just haven't posted, I still hope for you  but in the event that you have to face another cycle, pls know u r being prayed for so that only the best possible result can come your way  stay strong sweet.
Wow, it's been awfully quiet! Sitting here in the dark in the hotel room again, but this time with nothing to read! Never was able to figure out how to be able to chat from this thing, so no chatting for me until tomorrow am :( Anyone awake?
Hey tut! Glad to hear things are going well for you, and you've just been busy! you should've given that pervert a smack in the face--would love to have been there to see that one! Happy to hear your pg symtoms are beginning to blossom, but hoping you won't get as sick as last time! Good to hear from you, hon, keep us posted! Bucketloads of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Hey plc! Hope to see you again in the chat room sometime soon! Lots of :bellyrubs: coming your way!
Sandygirl--Sorry to hear AF is at the door knocking! Sending you lots of strength to get thru your next round of Clomid. Big
Sandygirl - So sorry that you've started spotting too :( I had a bit of a cry this morning which didn't exactly make me feel any better, but it did feel like I released some of the emotions which I guess is good. I am going to try to book in with my acupuncturist again this month. I saw her for 2 months before I fell pregnant the first time (which was on my 3rd cycle off the pill) so maybe she worked wonders last time and can do so again. Fingers crossed that we still get to be belly buddies together!
Smilanatu - How did your girly day go? It sounded like it was going to be lovely.
Fificlaire - I'm so sorry that I didn't respond earlier to your post. I promise that I was thinking about you though. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your first baby. My angel was meant to be my first baby too. My obs didn't recommend for me to try to miscarry naturally (probably partly because I had really bad morning sickness), and I had a d&c also. I hope you had no complications and are healing well.
I think that the girls suggestion to have bloods taken is a good idea. I had my d&c at 8w3d and about 4 weeks later I still had a hcg level of 101. The hcg level can go down at different rates in different people though, so I think a couple of blood tests are probably the way to go for you so that at least you can have the peace of mind knowing what your body is doing.
A lot of people are highly fertile after a d&c, so I hope you fall pregnant again very quickly, or that you are pregnant already.
Chappas - I'm sure the meal DH took you out for was no where near close to making up for stupid AF showing up, but I hope you managed to enjoy it a little. Maybe this cycle I might try to make things bit more romantic for DH and I and make sure we go out to dinner a few times, and maybe the movies etc...
Rachel - You had me laughing at your convo with your doctor about "riding" hehehe! Better tell your DH to be nice and gentle this month.
Oh, and I wish we could cyber-workout together, lol. I want to get a bit more fit so I'm planning on doing a bit more exercise until I ovulate (after which time I prefer to be a vegetable for fear of mixing things up inside too much, lol). I just tend to lack the motivation to actually start to exercise! I need an exercise buddy...
Tempus - How did your ultrasound go? I hope your ovaries are looking nice and healthy.
Easha - I was planning on looking for the TTC magazine today and I totally forgot. Is it any good?
Mollycat - Your temps are still looking great. That temp increase at 13DPO is getting my hopes up for you because mine usually starts to drop on that day (although not this month which is why I was so confused! Grrr). Can't wait to see what it does next for you! :)
plc - I popped into the chat fri night too, but must have missed you because no one else came in while I was in there.
Issy - How are things looking for you at the moment? Do you know how many DPO you are? I hope you break the BFP drought, even if you do smell like a homeless woman ;)
Tutmae - I have no problems with you opening a can of whoopa$$ on AF on behalf of everyone that has recently been attacked by BFMFFFF!!!
Oh, and I'm glad you are feeling queazy, hehehe.
Jen - I am LOVING your chart!!! Good thing Mr Jen Jen is being an good little soldier :)
Thanks for taking us on holidays with you. I could almost feel the warm sun and hot temps, but unfortunately the 5 degree chill ouside here was just a little too overpowering ;)
DH wants to know your opinion on MM vs Knotts?
Jen and Angel - Get out of the corner you nuff-nuffs! You are both too cute. Ok, fine, I'll come join you in the corner for cuddles
AFM - I think that anyone TTCing should not have to put up with AF pains. It's sooooooo just a kick in the face!
I want to start going back to my acupuncturist (even if it means having to drink yucky herbs again) so I'm going to call her tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment. She usually has about a 4 week waiting list, but I'm going to try to sweet talk my way in. Hopefully there will be free appointments, or maybe even a cancellation or two...
Krystie - I don't have to drink my herbs, I have tons of pills I take that my Chiropractor gave me (I find both are yucky) Taking so many pills a day sucks, I hope that you can get in to see your Chiropractor/Nutriantest
Me- I O'ed today and did the Duties this morning because I was eger on getting pregnant again, And now Ugh I feel bad because I feel like what if I mc again because I didn't wait??? Has anyone here TTC right after a M/s?? and what was the out come
Heres a list of pills I'm on that my Chiropractor has me on
Clorophyll Complex - 2 Pills by mouth 2X a day Used for - Bad Breath / Halitosis, Circulatory System / Circulation, Constipation, Indigestion, Urinary Tract Infections and Inflammation, Liver Disorders, Ultraviolet Radiation Exposure, Nutritional / Dietary Imbalance
Ovatrophin PMG - 1 pill by mouth 3X a day Used for-The {repro_system_female} ovaries secrete hormones called estrogens and progestins. The most potent of the estrogens is the hormone estradiol, and the most important progestin is progesterone. These hormones are secreted by the ovaries in response to some hormones initially released from the hypothalamus to activate hormonal secretion from the pituitary gland. The estrogens help regulate the menstrual cycle and develop the mammary glands and secondary female sex characteristics. Progesterone is also involved with regulating the menstrual cycle and mammary development, but is more involved with preparing the uterine lining for pregnancy and helping to form the placenta.
USE FOR: Amenorrhea, menstrual irregularity, excessive flow, post menopausal osteoporosis.
Catalyn - 2 pills by mouth 2X a day. Used for Catalyn is a multiple vitamin, mineral, and trace mineral concentrate formulated by Dr. Royal Lee in 1929. Catalyn is the antithesis of the "mega-dose" approach to nutritional supplementation. Dr. Lee summoned the whole of his considerable nutritional experience and know-how to provide a nutritional catalyst, a supplement using whole food ingredients which he named Catalyn. Dr. Lee's goal was to provide a food-based package of nutrients in the most potent and bioavailable form?its natural state.?
Min Tran - 2 Pills by mouth 3X a day Used for Min-Tran is short for "mineral tranquilizer." It's the mildest of the three tranquilizing products, excellent for the person who is nervous and cannot relax. It's also effective for helping people with muscle spasms and cramps. Min-Tran contains about one-third the amount of potassium that's in Organic Minerals. It's the kelp in the Min-Tran that supplies the potassium. Basically speaking, Min-Tran is the alkaline ash minerals plus calcium. So if a person needs both calcium and the alkaline ash minerals, give Min-Tran, if he needs only calcium, as in the case of a person with a cold or infection, suggest the use of Calcium Lactate.
Symplex F 2 pills by mouth 3X day, used for Supports ovarian function
Estrogen promotes the proliferation and growth of specific cells in the body that are responsible for the development of most female secondary sexual characteristics. The progestins, on the other hand, prepare the uterine lining for implantation.*
Add me to the TWW list please, I probably did a no no this morning at 1 am and did the "IT" because I knew I was going to O today, And I just couldn't help it I cannot wait another cycle to get pregnant, I really hope some others have done the same thing and have been able to carry full term..I'm kinda scared now.
And, My grandpa is been moved to his home with hospice taking care of him, My mom took off work for a week to help my grandma (her mom) with my grandpa, The nurse said she rated him a 7 with how bad and close the death is coming because hes already turning blue and becoming stiff.. Its happening really fast.. :-(
KL- Sorry the witch showed for you too, agree about AF pains mine so bad this month. Really enjoyed night out with DH bless him!
Jen- Pleased you enjoyed time away.
Sandygirl- Sorry nasty witch AF on the way
