satya my AF's where always extremely light before I had my D&C and I never really thought anything of it, I am sure that you are fine and that it is just a hormonal thing.
zionsmom the first month I started charting I got completely obsessed with it LOL but after a few months I settled down, and now I only really obsess when i'm in my TWW.
kbowman it was a long time to be stuck, but everyone got out of their cars, walked their dogs, and my 2 boys and my eldests gf played a little bit of soccer so that helped to pass the time.
britkane8 like everyone else has said, it is extremely rare to O while you have AF but not completely unheard of.

As for my I am completely over this TWW already, and I am really itching to start testing, FF says that I cant test until a week on Saturday, now I am certain that there is no way on earth that I can go that long without getting a sneaky on in LOL 10 days is so far away :(

Hey Salty, glad to have you back hun. Glad to hear your parents are doing well. Please know we are all here for you.

Question for everyone - what do you think is the earliest you can test after O? I don't want to be silly and test at 6DPO or anything like that because I know I will get a BFN. When I was pregnant, I tested at 16DPO (day AF was due) and am just interested in others experiences. I do remember getting implantation cramping at 8DPO and wondered if I would get a +ve result after this time....

God, I only O'd yesterday (had cramping last night) and am already thinking about testing! This TWW is gonna go soooo slowly! I have to say I quite like it though?! Makes me feel positve and that anything could happen... *sigh*

shoegirl- with my first pregnancy I was 12 dpo and with my second i had negatives up until 11 dpo. I am a POAS aholic and started from 7dpo with my second because I just knew I was pregnant. It is better to wait as long as you can though to avoid disappointment.

Salt- Glad everything is ok! It sucks your af showed up. Did it take you long to fall pregnant the first time? For me it going on 4 months since my mc and I honestly thought I would be pregnant now but my body is just taking so long to recover and I am having extremely long cycles and Oing late. I just hope that this journey ends for us all soon and are pregnant!

Sharon- OMG! another 10days after already waiting 7 I wouldn't have the strength! Goodluck!

Has anyone used an opk as a hpt? I have been reading a bit about it and seems to work! The positive opk comes up the day before or the day of the positive HPT. Just curious if anyone else has tried this?

Nicole: jUst wanted to say it is worth phoning re; your progesterone. If you prog isn't as high as your obs would like it they will up the doseage of clomid. This will give you optimal chances of conceiving. I had mine increased until finally I was on 150mgs and that is the doseage that *Col* was conceived on.

Shoegal: I am a poas addict too. With the pregnancy before this one I tested positve at 8dpo using LC 10miu. This time I didn't test positive until 11dpo (verrrry feint) using the same test. If you can handle the angst there are a lot that test positive around 8dpo but if it's negative that doesn't mean you are not pregnant. This pregnancy I was convinced I wasn't pregnant because it was negative at 10dpo. But here I am!
Some women prefer to wait so whatever the result is it's a definite others like me can't wait! Good luck! :hug:

My due date has just passed on the 7/7/07 was okish, actually the first due date i got given was 30/6/07 that was a harder day i veged out most of the day then dragged myself out and had a night out with friends it kind of helped but not really....

Only 5 mths and 3 days until i start TTC again and my wedding day... Its really hard not TTC.. And amazingly my cycles are near normal again which is great, i even had a 27 day cycle this month OMG never had one was so shocked.. I have also been able to pinpoint my fertile window which means fingers crossed no temping when we start again..

OH and also wanted to share that i feel that the main reason my cycles are so good has something to do with seeing a Naturapath, best thing i have ever done, he firstly put me on herbal tablets to regulate cycles but i stopped them after we decided to stop TTC it since then they have been nearly perfect cycles.. He is also working at getting my body nice and healthy for when i do fall pg.. So well worth a go girls if you are thinking of going down that path...

Has been ages since I've posted! Have just passed my EDD which has been so incredibly hard. Had no idea I would still feel this bad. Just feel like such a massive failure for not being pg yet. I'm so desperate to be pg but at the same time have been really slack about monitoring things this cycle. I keep forgetting to temp and test at the proper times and am usually so pedantic about those things! I think I am just so over the whole thing, and deep down feel like it will never happen for me.:cry:
I do have a question for everyone - has anyone heard anything about mis-matches in blood types causing problems in fertility? I don't mean the RH +/- one but the A or O one (hope that made sense!). I read that sometimes if the mother is type O and the father is A the females body can attack the males sperm and see it as an invader, same thing with an embie if it is type A... just wondering if anyone else had heard of that.
I'm currently 13DPO and have had loads of EWCM today. Got a quick BD in but think it is still to early for me to O. I'll just have to see what happens.

Leyla - Know what you mean when you say that you feel like a failure for not having conceived again by your EDD, as those thoughts have been in the back of my mind. It's amazing I am still treading water in trying to get anywhere on this TTC journey. Sorry, I haven't heard anything about the different blood types - but it sounds interesting and you'll have to let us know if you discover anything.

Jane - Hi! Time is going to fly between now and your wedding day - how exciting! What type of treatments are you having with your naturopath to help with your body, now that you have stopped the herbal tablets? I have been having acupunture treatments for the last few weeks after having a "tongue analysis" which said that my fears are behind what is holding me back and this is reflected through my kidney. It's all been very interesting and different for me to get my head around, but I've been open to it :)

Cherie - I've never tried to use a OPK as a HPT, but I think I read in a post on here previously that it can work. Maybe worth searching the threads to read about it?

Shoegal - The time I got a BFP it was on 13DPO, yet I got a negative on 9DPO.

Sharon - Ok, confess - have you POAS yet? LOL Even when I know that it's too early I still test and test and test, so you are not alone. There is no way I would wait 10 more days if I were you, maybe 4 or 5???

Kerry - Hope you are enjoying your holiday time and hope that you have caught that egg!

Hello to everyone else I have missed, hope you are all travelling well.

As for me - I am now up to Day 41 of AF, which has become much heavier and I now have lots of pain and lower backache to go with it. My GP seems to think that I have miscarried again without even realising I was pregnant. Anyway I've had a whole heap of blood tests and an ultrasound, and go back tomorrow morning to find out what they have to say. The ultrasound lady told me that my lining was 9mm thick and irregular, but I have no idea what that really means, except I wouldn't have thought it would be so thick with the amount of bleeding and clotting I've had. So I guess I will have to leave it to the experts and find out what they say tomorrow.

saltprincess glad to hear that your parents are going OK, hope to see you around here a bit more now that AF has gone, I don't really feel like posting much when I get AF either, and it usually takes me until I am nearly O'ing to get back into the swing of things again.
Shoegal I got a very very faint +ve 9 dpo the cycle after my D&C but then 2 days later nothing, then AF showed so it looks like it was a chemical, but with my pgncy in December I tested at 10 dpo and got a bfn but then tested again at 12 dpo and got my bfp.
cherie26 I may be able to hold out until next Wed (but I doubt it :lol:)

Glad to hear that everything is going so well for you, the next 5 months are going to fly by. Don't know how I am going to react to my due date when I reach it, will cross that bridge when I come to it.
missbelinda77 I haven't tested yet, but have been VERY tempted, I bought a box of hpt yesterday and have resisted the urge, and will try to wait at least another 5 days. WOW 41 days of AF that is very long, good luck with you BT/ultrasound results tomorrow.

Salt I'm glad that your mum is doing well. And your Dad must be doing ok too, seeing as they are letting him come home? I wish them a smooth recovery. I'm sorry to hear that you got AF on the day of the op. I really think you will fall pg soon, at a happier time, and it will be.
Rachael I hope this is your month too. Each month, I expect you to fall pg, I guess because it was so quick for you the first time. But if its not, don't beat yourself up over it. I am sure it will happen, and soon.

Leyla :hugs: I am so sorry that you're having a rough time. I've read that some of the girls buy some jewellery or plant something or do something nice to commemorate their EDD in a positive way. I don't know if you think that would work for you. But it is important to remember that you are not a failure for not conceiving yet. Just cos it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. These are thoughts I battle with everyday too.
Belinda Wow, 41 days of AF! Makes my bleeding seem like a walk in the park! That sounds aweful. I hope you get some answers tomorrow.

In the last 2 weeks, I've had 2 ERPCs (which is apparently a D&C with a handyvac), and spent longer in hospital with more antibiotics than I could ever wish for.

The good news is that they tested & retested the results of each ERPC, and none of them showed any signs of molar pg.

The bad news is that the docs have no idea why my HCG was so high & rising. One doc called me to say that stuff had grown back, like some kind of terminator baby, in between ERPCs. But really, I think she missed bits the first time round.

3 weeks on I am still bleeding. On Sunday, I got dizzy, puffed & collapsed after going grocery shopping. I tried to explain to the GP that I pass out every Sunday after lunch, but she tested me and found I am now anemic.

Had a scan today, and the good news is that I don't need another ERPC (thank f*&k). I but I still have some more bleeding coming my way. I wish this m/c would just end!

Overall, I think DH & I are coping pretty well. For me it feels easier the second time round. I feel like I need to be strong because who knows how many more m/cs I'll have to go through before we have a child. But I feel strong enough to take it.

Sometimes I get a bit sad though. Like today, as I walked to the hospital, I was remembering walking away from the hospital not so long ago. DH & I were terrified but over the moon, cos we'd just been told we were expecting twins. It was all I could do to not just bawl on the pavement.

Also I really really miss the BDing! Its been soooooo looooong! Its been a long time between drinks too. I finish my antibiotics tomorrow and am going on a major bender.

Shoegal - I think most experts say not to test until at least 10DPO. I would've been about 21DPO when I tested positive as I wasn't obsessed with getting pg back then and just realised I was a whole week late and tested, still thinking it would be negative, but it wasn't. I try not to test early now as I've read some stuff about false positives in women of my age... something to do with some women having HCG in their systems late in their cycle which causes it. I will just wait til my AF is due and then test..... god I hope I can keep to that, but I have since I read this info.

Susan - congrats on the feint positive. I hope it gets darker and darker.

Janeo - I'm glad you got past your due date OK. I'm dreading mine, but I don't have to face that until November.

Sienna - I don't think I will test unless something really obvious shows up. The weeing thing comes and goes with me, has been happening since my m/c, could be to do with the fibroid (if it is one). I don't even think it is possible to be pg with such low temps (around 36.2) so I would have to be throwing up or fainting or something for me to bother to test. I am still tired and hungrier than normal but I really don't think I'm pg.

Sharon - good luck holding out for testing.

Salt - glad your folks are OK. I also hate getting AF - it really gets me down each and every time and it never arrives without floods of tears from me.

Leyla - I'm sorry your due date was so difficult. Unless I'm pg by mine I think I will be the same. The wife of a guy at work is due around the same time I was and I had to endure the details of their recent scan a couple of weeks ago... it was so hard. I would have been 19 weeks then and I would have been having the same scan done. I just wanted to cry. I'm thinking of taking time off work around my EDD as I don't think I will cope well at work.

Cherie 26 - Wow that's a very long cycle. Good luck with your TWW.

Timnik - I think the difference in tooth color will be less noticeable once you get used to it and I doubt other people would notice it anyway.

Belinda - How awful - 41 days of AF. I had a friend who got AFs like that and it turned out that she had endo. She always had to take time off work whenever it happened. The good news is she ended up having two kids even though she was told it was not very likely.... and on the other hand I had regular 28 day cycles and was told there was no reason for me not to conceive and here I am still trying to do it.

Pash - That's good news about the pg not being molar. You really have been through a lot in the last few weeks. I hope you are looking after yourself. Enjoy your bender & I send lots of anti-hangover vibes in your direction.

pash I am so glad that the pg wasn't a molar. It would have been very hard to hold it together while you went back to the hospital. I sometimes sit and wonder how many m/c would I be prepared to go through to get another baby, and if I was younger I think I would keep going but I have decided that if I am not pg by Feb next year that will be the end of ttc for me as I just don't want to end up with another huge gap between the kids. Oh Belinda big HUGS!!!! Good luck with all the tests you are in my thoughts... I am on tablets for my back at the moment he is focusing on that... He does acupuncture every session, we are focusing on how and why my back flares up, seems to be worst at Oing time and not as bad but bad at AF time... I was seeing him fortnightly but we are out to 3 weekly now...

Really the whole due date thing came and went for me surprisingly but i was busy with work and had a engagement party the night of... But talking with a pg friend who is due anyday helped again surprisingly.. Plus i think i helps that im focusing on my wedding and not TTC that really helped... Plus there are some great things in my life at the moment, im getting married, i just got a new car, my dear friend who had PND is back to normal and life is just great at the moment...

I have to say this is the nicest community and everyone is so brave. It's great to know when I start the IVF I'll have this place to come to. Meantime I just wanted to share with you one of the funniest books I can remember reading. I came across it on the net, and the site is which also happens to be the title of the book. Its a true story and among other things the writer Jodi Panayotov has miscarriages before going onto IVF. I know it sounds strange to be saying it's funny, (it reminds me of Bridget Jones) but at times I was crying laughing, something I rarely do these days. Anyway I truly recommend it. Meantime back to the grindstone, the countdown is on....

General consensus is 12DPO so I will give it a go on Sunday week (22 July) when I am 12DPO. I am trying to find the HPT that says Pregnant / Not Pregnant so there is no way for me to imagine another blue line. 2DPO for me today and just sitting tight for now.

Zionsmum - bding every day worked for us with my last pregnancy, but I got a really bad urinary tract infection from it which happened exactly on the day I conceived... I had to take antibiotics etc. and it was a really bad infection, so sometimes I wonder now if that had something to do with the m/c. If you can avoid any infections, I reckon it's worth a go!!

Janeo - I have been investigating Naturopaths and Acupuncturists over the past day or so and it's funny that this topic has just popped up here too... Makes me think that it is a sign and that I should give it a try! I have been thinking acupuncture to get my system balanced again after the d&c, but I am a bit anxious about the herbs because I have heard of someone who has stuffed up their liver by taking the wrong herbs...

Has anybody got any suggestions how to find a good naturopath/acupuncturist specialising in fertility issues?

Where abouts are you Penny... The herbs i was taking was very natural and i trusted my guy 120%, he was saying that he had a woman who only had AF 3-4 times a yr and had been TTC for 4 yrs and after taking the herbs she had 3 periods in 4mths, havnt heard if she had fallen pg yet she had only just started to take them...

Ask friends and family if they see any because you would be surprised at how many people visit them for all sorts of reasons...

I recommend it though Penny, especially to get it all back on track, it took me 3 mths to get AF after my D & C then i had a 6 week cycle after seeing him i have had a 31, 33 and 27 day cycles...

Shoegal - I've been on the waiting list for a lap for 4 weeks. The average wait is 12 weeks apparently in this region. It's to check everything out b4 I go on to IVF & also possibly to resect a fibroid. I'll be glad when it's over and done with. Good idea about he digital HPT - I used one of those when I was pg last time after I got a negative after two positives with the stick kind and went in to a mad panic. It came up PREGNANT straight away and eased my mind. At least there's no guess work with them.

Salt - I hope your O is on it's way soon.

My mood is not good tonight. It's been a hard day. First of all my work colleague went into labour today....so I know there will be a happy announcement tomorrow. I should have been half way there myself by now, and here I am still TTCing. I'm so over it. My mum got her PET scan results today and the cancer is definately back but is isolated to just the one spot which I guess is good, but now the treatment starts again. To top the day off my DF got a call that he'd missed out on a great job he'd applied for that would have meant more money for us. We were really hoping he'd get it as we need the extra money to pay for IVF. Just not a good day.

Quick update. My temp shot up by .3 this morning. I'm now at my usual post O temp which is very weird as it's only CD7. I've never had a temp this high prior to O before so I think I must have O'd early. Of course I will wait for two more temp checks to confirm it. I usually O from CD13-16 so it would be way early.

janeo certainly sounds like things are going great for you atm, good on you, you deserve it.
sienna good luck to you and your partner when you start on the road of IVF I hope it doesn't take too long for you to get a bfp.
Shoegal I am trying to hold off testing until Monday, but honestly I don't know if I can wait that long with my current symptoms (see below about 'me') I have heard that those digital hpt's aren't that sensitive so testing at 12dpo with one of those may give you a false -ve.
saltprincess I am trying so hard not to test but I just feel like I am going to cave in, in know it! I really hope it happens this month for both of us, I am going to be totally crushed if it doesn't.
satya I am so sorry to hear about your mum's results, that is awful. And bugger about DH missing out on the extra money. Hope that you don't have to wait another 8 weeks for your lap. Just read your update, hope it isn't early O (unless you happened to BD in the last 24 hours or so).

Me - I think I really need to be talked out of my symptoms, I am just starting to get my hopes up and I just feel like everything is going to come crashing down when AF arrives. The thing is, this morning I woke up with a scratch/sore throat and this is the exact day I got my sore throat back in Dec, also the constipation, and today after lunch I felt so nauseas, I had to pick DH up from the airport tonight and we were going to have laksa for dinner but I have totally lost my appetite, and I also don't have my usual pimples that I get at this time in my cycle and the only other time that happened was in Dec I just feel like screaming! and if you look at my chart overlay (just have this cycle and Dec cycle up) they are both VERY similar both before and after O. So should I let myself get my hopes up?

I am totally new to this and am probably doing this all wrong but I was hoping to get some input or something. In reading some of your posts and experiences, I almost feel silly writing but I also see that there is a great deal of support in this group - I hope you have room for one more.

Yesterday I had my 3rd D&C and I am very depressed. I have had 4 pregnancies - 3 of which have ended in miscarriage (the 1st, 2nd and 4th). The third was the result of IUI and ended in a BEAUTIFUL little girl who is almost 1 and who is my world. I desperately want her to have a sibling. This time I got pregnant almost as soon as we started trying but I lost it at about 6 wks (didn't find out 'til 10 wks tho). I am devasted because now I have to wait a couple/three months to try again and I will be 40 in October. My husband knows how much I want another child and said we can try again but naturally only - no more help. He says he doesn't want another so I feel he was relieved by this loss - esp since the technician thinks I might have been carrying twins. I feel very, very alone in my grief and very scared I won't be able to have another full-term, healthy baby. I have 3 siblings and really want my daughter to experience a sibling too. I am so sad, angry and scared sometimes I think about doing myself physical harm but I won't b/c I want to be a good role model for my daughter. I know I'm not eating or drinking enough tho - just don't want it. I could use some help on how to deal with this right now.

sweetpetite so sorry that you have lost so many little angels, unfortunately I don't have any words of wisdom with regards to your dh, but your emotions and feelings are all completely normal and you would have probably read that we all go through similar stages at some time or another. Just a question, is there any particular reason why you are waiting 3 months before ttc again? Most women here are told to wait for their next cycle after a D&C and some are actually told they can ttc straight away. I too feel like my time is running out to give my youngest sibling closer in age than his big brother and I know for a fact that my dh will never agree to having 'assistance' in conceiving and and I am OK with that because I do already have 2 healthy boys. I really do hope that you manage to get your sticky bfp naturally. :hug:

I am so sorry for your losses. I have had a D&C almost 2 weeks ago and I was also under the impression that I had to wait for 3 cycles to try again. This seemed a long, long time to wait, particularly because we don't know when our first AF will arrive... I also found this wait unbearable (I recently turned 42) so I rang the ob's office and quizzed them about and his midwife said that they like women to wait for their next cycle after the D&C. Maybe check with your doctor why they recommended a 2/3 cycle wait...
I have a 7 year old son and feel the same way as you about wanting to give him a sibling. Also, on the subject of age, don't zoom in on turning 40, my ultrasound doctor said that he sees plenty of women in their forties having healthy babies.
I am also fairly new to this forum and I have found a lot of support and answers here - you have come to the right place... Don't be scared, we have to stay positive to get that BFP soon!!

Shoegal: The tests that say pregnant/not pregnant are the digital tests. This is a 50miu test so it in all probability won't work at 12dpo even if you are pregnant. Just keep that in mind. I would invest in some Lullaby conceptions 10miu tests. They are great and accurate and for 10 I think the cost is $24?

Sweetpetite: I am so sorry for your losses... :hugs: I think it would be a really good idea to talk to a professional if you have feelings of wanting to harm yourself. What you are going thru is really really tough - most of us can't do it on our own... I am so happy you have found Belly Belly.. Janeo, nice to see you! Trying some alternative therapies sounds like a positive thing to do. I've begun looking into it too. I found it a little hard about the time of my first edd but it was great to be able to congratulate all my belly buddies as they brought their precious bubs into the world. It became very exciting! Most exciting was being able to congratulate one of the first BB friends I made on the safe arrival of her son. :dance: I hope I'm pg before my November edd! And I hope we'll all be making birth announcements in 2008.

Britkane, how are you going? Hope you get a nice sticky BFP. I'd have been testing madly if I got a hint of a positive. I've got in a new supply of LC hpts and opks (hoping I'll be able to give away the opks!) for that very reason!

Sharon, that chart of yours is looking great. Oh, I hope this is the month for you!

Satya, IKWYM about being jealous of every pg woman in the world. I've seen some really lovely bumps while I've been on holidays and I get attacks of the I-wish!! and Lucky-thing!! So sorry about your Mum. Must be so worrying for you. And what awful luck for your DP. Hope things turn around in a major way for you and your family.

I have had 2 early miscarriages and am feeling quite the same as you are at the moment - I also feel very alone and that none of my friends or DH really understand what I have been through (and am still going through), not to mention worried that I won't be able to have a sibling for my 3 year old DD :( I am 37 now and feel like the clock is ticking for me now. I hope you can find a bit of support here, and maybe it will be some consolation that you are not the only one that feels like you do.

Hi to everyone I've missed, sorry but I just don't have much time to go back through all the posts much further than this!

I'm CD6 today and have finally finished taking my first lot of Clomid - 50mg. It's been pretty crappy actually - I've had nausea and mood swings since I started taking it, and have been mega hormonal and grumpy today!! Poor DH!

All I can say is I hope this works and that I don't have to up the dose next month to 100mg because I just don't know how I will manage :( I'll probably be puking for the whole 5 days! LOL

I know I have to get over this all, and it's probably just the Clomid, but I'm just feeling so down about all this TTC business at the moment - that's why I haven't posted for a while. I think I need to just step back from it for a bit - I don't know. I just think I'm going to be really bummed if the Clomid doesn't work in a month or two.

Thanks all for your support. It has helped to read some of your stories although I wish none of us was going thru these experiences. After I wrote a couple days ago, I just kind of went numb and yesterday I was very, very sad. Today is a bit better but I know I am still in for good and bad days for a bit. I much dread the rest of this year as a friend told me she just finished her 12 wks and all was well w/ her preg. about the time I was unknowingly losing mine. Of course I wish her well (I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy) but I wish things would go as well for me too. She had her 1st child shortly after my 2nd m/c. It's going to be hard. But I resolve to try again.

Sharon19270: The reason I was thinking 3mos was that the anesthesiologist for my D&C said something about waiting 3mos and trying again - after he regaled me w/ the story of how his wife had 2 m/cs but now they have 4 kids. I know he was trying to be helpful but not what I wanted to hear at the time! I have since read that it is suggested to wait for one AF (4-6 wks) and then TTC. I should get it about the time that the results from the analysis of my D&C come back so I will start TTC then (if I can wait that long!). On a side note, so sorry to hear about the spotting. :(

Flowerchild: Thanks so much for your concern. Sometimes I feel so angry (and like such a failure) towards myself for the m/cs, I don't know what to do w/ the feelings. But it is important that I show my daughter (even at this young age) that disappointment should be met with strength and resolve. That is what I intend to do - even if on the inside I am distraught. Curious though -- do people going thru this go to counselors or find support groups? You also asked about why I chose to go w/ IUI after my 2nd m/c. After the 2nd, I was having trouble TTC. B/c of my age, the fert spec thought it would be more likely I would be successful sooner w/ some help. I'm glad I did it b/c it did work and now I have my DD. Plus I learned that I have 2 different clotting factors and was put on fragmin (heparin) and aspirin. Important info for the next time. Unfortunately he also told me my ovaries are 2 yrs older than my biological age which is why I'm concerned about turning 40. But I got preg right away last time and that was just 2 mos ago so I am hoping it will happen again (if I can manage to not get too stressed).

CrossingMyFingers: So, so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost mine around 6wks and didn't find out until 10wks. I feel really stupid for not knowing and for continuing to plan and get excited. I will be crossing my fingers for you as you TTC now.

Had a really busy weekend so haven't had a chance to get on til now.

Sharon - your symptoms are sounding positive. Spotting can happen when pregnant so don't get sad yet - it could be implantation.

Sweetpetite - You've had a rough trot of it. A couple of things you mentioned concerned me greatly. The first thing was thoughts of hurting yourself. You really should seek professional help as should anyone who is having those thoughts. The other concern was that you said you are not eating or drinking properly. When preparing for pregnancy you must eat well and drink lots of water so that you have the essential nutrients for a successful pregnancy. Seeking help would probably also assist with that as well. I'd suggest not trying again until you get your mind and your body back to an even keel.

crossmyfingers - Sorry for your loss. Both my losses were early at about 5 & 6 weeks and were natural ones. I can't imagine what it's like to be merrily going along not knowing that anything's wrong only to find out it's been over for a couple of months. There are a number of ladies here who've been through the same thing so I'm sure they will be able to offer you some support, knowing exactly what it's like to go through. BB has been my saviour on my bad days, I just come in here and type away and it always makes me feel better.

Megsmum - ttcing really can get you down when it goes on for a while and the clomid probably isn't making things any easier for you.

I managed to get through the very difficult situation of seeing my SIL for the first time after her pg announcement. As expected she went on and on about it and every subject kept getting turned back to pg. I had to walk out of the room a few times as I just couldn't take it. Even when she knew it was upsetting me she kept doing it. Lots of alcohol got me through it. I just hope she doesn't have the misfortune of having a m/c and then have to sit there and listen to someone else who's equally insensitive about their pg.
CD 10 for me today. My high temp was a stray one so I am indeed still waiting to O somewhere between CD13-16. Madly taking my evening primrose oil now.

Crossingmyfingers, welcome to this thread. Sorry for your loss. Was there any reason given by your doctor to have to wait 6 months? I had a missed miscarriage too this year. It's hard not to feel that your body has in some way tricked you, isn't it. But I guess it also means that our bodies are good at providing a home for our bubs. Congrats on getting your AF a month to the day of your D&C. Hope your TTC journey is a sweet one!

Sharon, I was thinking that spotting might be implantation too after looking at your charts. I wonder if you're implanting late? Hope AF stays away for you and that you're announcing a BFP to us within the next few days.

Hello Megsmum, sorry the Clomid is running amok with your emotions. It sure is one hormonal rollercoaster. Hope you get the high of a really sticky BFP this cycle. IKWYM about hearing the clock ticking. I do too.

Sweetpetite, I'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. It does take time and lots of support. Don't feel you can't ever ask for help. That's what it's there for. My ex committed an act of self harm not long after we broke up and six years on I miss him as keenly as the day it happened. Counselling will help with getting through this time. I also asked my GP to prescribe antidepressants for me and they helped too. As for a dictionary of the popular abbreviations used on BB, if you go to the welcome forum, there is a thread there with all the acronyms and what they mean. :)

Satya, you did well to cope as well as you did with your SIL's performance. It would take me a hangover worth of alcohol to get through that one! Hope the evening primrose oil does the trick for you. Good luck with catching the eggie!

I've been away for a few days with DH, out last romantic weekend before we take the IVF plunge. Firstly, Sharon, I hope your spotting has gone away, if not from my experience it can be OK if u don't have cramps or bright blood. I understand how u feel though and my thoughts are with u.

I've collected my bag of IVF 'goodies', I'm sure it'll take me the next week to sort it out although I have to start Provera tablets shortly. Now I'm just keen to get it over with.

Satya - you mentioned evening primrose oil. Do you take the amount on the package or did you get advice from a naturopath re dosage? I have it in my cupboard, but the recommended dosage seems quite high (6000mg) compared to what I read on the Internet 1500mg.
On the subject of your SIL I know exactly how you feel. My SIL is a bit insensitive and the last time we met I was still pregnant. Now I have not had the guts to turn up to any family event where she is at as I am afraid that I will just break out in tears. You are doing a whole lot better than me if you can turn up in the first place - well done!!! It's sooooo hard!!!!
