A friend of mine has a 9 month old and she told me shes 7 weeks preg. again she said she hopes i get preg. soon. I cried alot after she left, I am happy for her and I wasn't even crying because I am not pregnant yet but because it happens so easy for her and I feel like even with trying I have no gurantees. If I get Af this cycle I will be in depression for a while I already am not myself. :( sorry to be a downer good luck to everyone else. :)

Shoegal - I was 8w 4d pregnant when i lost this one. I started bleeding a week earlier and had an ultrasound and he said that i had a subchorionic hemorrhage (blood clot behind the placenta, or bruising) but that 90% of women will give birth to healthy babies. My angels little heartbeat was perfect and everything else looked fine too.
Then on Sunday morning i had a complete m/c. I had a m/c before my first son Cooper was born as well.
Mentally im doing ok, i have had the week off and the only reason that i dont want to go, is because people knew i was pregnant, and i just feel like a bit of a fool, i should have known better.
I waited one cycle before i started ttc after the first m/c and i honestly think it made me worse. It ended up taking about 5 months before i got pregnant again.
I do consider myself very lucky though. 5 months is the longest i have ever waited TTC. I even got pregnant with Lawson while i was on the pill. And with this one, it was the first month of actually "timing" bd. So i know im a lucky girl that i dont have problems like others.

Today i have been trying to clean my house for a house inspection on saturday. Im just not motivated, and I keep getting pains in my stomach, so im praying that i dont have anything left in my uterus.
The bleeding has stopped and im really keep to get down to some major BD. I just dont want to freak DH out though, i dont want it to end up being a chore.
One of the mums from my sons football team is pregnant and she concieved 2 weeks after a m/c, so she is my inspiration.

Well, it seems I'm not the only one who has been MIA for a while. Just could not bring myself to post as I have been so down since the last AF. I'm now 6DPO, and trying not to get my hopes up. Don't know if I will be able to handle another let down this month. Sorry for the moaning!

Anyhow, I have peen reading your posts and keeping track,a nd I truly hope that you all get your BFP's this month! Seems like we had such a rush of them two months ago, and then nothing lately. We are so due for some good news.

TTBC - so sorry that you are having a hard time of it honey. I did not O until CD38 in April... so I know how frustrating the long cycles can be. Just feels like such a waste of time. I can't confirm that it worked for sure but I am fairly certain that the only reason I did finally O was because I started taking Macca root. It's like a powdered fertility aid that comes from south america. You can get it from any health food store though. Since I have been taking it I have been O'ing between CD14 and CD19, which has meant a much healthier cycle for me. No BFP yet, but at least my cycles are a little more predictable.

Claire and Lee - glad everything is progressing well! Hope you are feeling ok.

Zionsmum - Hope that your foot is feeling better.

Thanks for the welcome Leyla, I'm still very shaken up about everything even though it's been almost a month since everything happened, but I'm very slowly getting over everything.

I'm just hoping AF hurries up for me, because I'm feeling so sick and so crampy :(

This is a great site for getting to feel better. I've also had a m/c, only the one, but it sure messes you around. I was interested to hear you say you had a subchorionic haemorrhage as I read alot about miscarriage and hadn't heard of it until in a book I read recently where the author had 2 miscarriages and then with the next pregnancy the s. haemorrhage, which ended up being a successful pregnancy though she was put on bed rest. The thing is, the doctor told her 50% lead to miscarriage and I was wondering how many women have a m/c and not realise that this causes it?
Does anyone else know anything about them?

Yeah, I've had two m/c - one that was only at least 4 weeks and the most recent one which was at 7 weeks to the day.
I would love to know what caused mine, but then again, I'd probably just burst into tears.

Sienna - There is a thread under medical conditions about them. And some of the girls there went on to have a very successfull pregnancy. Its a terrible thing to go through. And i often blame my self for it, regardless of how it happend, it has happend and i cant bring it back.
I went to dream world before i knew i was pregnant and i went on the rollercoasters and stuff, i also continued to pick my 3 year old son up, so i can really beat myself up about it all if i wanted.

Lizjessie - Sweety it was your baby, you have every right to feel the way you do. Mourning is very important and i also found giving my baby a name helped. I knew deep down, that this one was a girl, so i have named her Hope. Be patient and kind with your self, you will get through this in your own time. Im thinking of you and wishing your some inner peace.

Can i ask a question that could possibly be a little personal?
After the miscarriage, did anyones DH not want to have sex?? Mine decided last night that we should just have lots of forplay and when i made comments like "what a waste of good quality sperm" he said that it all just felt abit weird since i have bled for so long with the hemorrage. ?????? Whats going on??? I was so excited when i stopped bleeding, not just because i had been bleeding for so, but because it meant we could start trying again, and thats what i get???? im so confused ????

For the benefit of the new ladies to the forum I've had two m/c 10 years apart and have no kids of my own but a lovely 4yo step daughter who we share custody of (not as evenly as we would like) and we have her right now. I have major worries about ever conceiving again as my track record is not good - only 2 short lived pregnancies in 10 years of unprotected sex with two different partners. It took 3 years for the first pregnacy to occur (and never did it happen again in another 5.5 years with him) and 9 months for the second one (m/c in March this year). Due to that and my age (41) it looks like I'm heading to IVF after my lap. Pretty scary to be heading down that track but I don't have time to waste at my age.... I did enough of the wait and see what happens in my 30's and here I am still trying after I started ttc at 28.

Zionsmum - It's so tough dealing with pregnancy news. I always cry at pregnancy announcements. I did go through a few years where I somehow got used to getting the news and could handle it well, but since the recent m/c I just don't handle it well at all.

Treelo - Have fun cleaning the house. Are you selling or is it the dreaded landlord coming through?

I had O type pain last night & my temp is up to my usual post O temp so I am hoping that I have O'd. We will have to try to keep the bding up though cos last time I thought I had but didn't until CD16 but I didn't have any O pain last cycle at all.

Hello everyone, I am new to this thread but I have posted in another thread about my m/c. I had a m/c on May 19th when I was @ 7 weeks 5 days. The doctor suggested that we wait two cylces, so we have and are now ready to start ttc. The concern that I have now is after my D&C my AF come back 24 days later then 34 days later. When it came it was normal for 4 days then gone for 2 now it's back but really light. When I got it back after the D&C it lasted 7 days when before I become pregnant it usually would only last around 3 or 4 days. I am worried that this will affect us getting pregnant again. I would love to become pregnant again. It's been hard because I should have been 4 months now.

Welcome Faith, I am sorry for your loss. Your cycle & AF's can be out of whack for a several months after a m/c. Lots of the ladies who used to be in this forum who have now moved on to pregnancy ones experienced similar things but still got pregnant so don't stress about it. I hope your stay in this thread is a short one.

Im sure your cycle will be back to normal soon. I had my last m/c on Sunday and I bled for 3 days after. I dont know how long its going to take for AF to come back, im not going to wait for it to start ttc.

Treelo - I named my little one, even though I dunno if it was a girl or boy, Angel, because s/he would have been my lil miracle. It seems like I just can't get passed the 7 week mark in my pg's. My doctor said there's nothing wrong with me, so I can only hope that it's just because my body is getting used to the idea of me being pg

Well AF is slowly on her way out, there are way too many posts to reply to personally so I will giving that a miss this time.

Someone asked how long I had been TTC including before my m/c and my dh and I have been trying since September last year, so 10 months.

Sienna, my partner Kim had a little tiny bit of brown spotting at 5 weeks 4 days so we went to our local hospital for an ultrasound because it was a sunday and our doctor wasnt in his office. She had a Subchorionic Hematoma that was 2.3cm in diameter. The radiologist said it could go either way, but if the Hematoma is larger than the gestational sac, (which ours was at such an early stage).. it doesnt fair well. Subchorionic Hematoma's probably do account for alot of early miscarriages, they just haven't been detected. When the placenta is forming and growing in the lining a little blood vessell can bust causing the bleeding and ultimately the clot.

When we ended up seeing our doctor he told us that if we hadn't have told him that she had a hematoma he wouldnt have known because he couldnt see it on his machine. The machine that the hospital used was a much better machine than our doctors. We had 3 more ultrasounds with our doctor and the first two were ok, the baby had grown and the heart beat was good. But on the third one our baby didn't have a heart beat any longer. We were 8 weeks but the baby probably died at about 7weeks according to the measurements. He was pretty sure that it was due to chromosomal abnormalities. Anyway Kim had to have a D&C, so we had the chromosome testing done and the baby was a normal little girl so we proved him wrong, it was just plain bad luck.
