Hello everyone - how are you all going?
sorry i havent been on here for ages - my 2nd MC has really thrown me!
apparently i may have progesterone issues - i have appt with FS on the 4th december!
is that a bad issue to have? if i fall preg before my appt and i do have a progesterone issue will i miscarry again?

zionsmom, my symptoms weren't much; just three days of really sore BB in the TWW (normally don't), and the teeniest bit of spotting about 10 DPO. Oh and I started feeling hungry for breakfast from 12DPO (I never do). The signs weren't major and I wish I had more symptoms already apart from feeling more hungry.

That's so cool there are 4 BFP so far this month :D

Hi hj1981 - hope you are not too stressed there - ummm all i know is that sometimes low progesterone levels can cause mc so some treatment to boost progeterone is all that is needed to keep the preg going and i think it is only in the first few months that progesterone deficiency can affect pregnancy - apologies if any of this is not correct info but i am just recalling what i heard - but hey it must be a good thing that they may have an answer to what is going on - things can only get better hj - i know it will. good luck with you appt xo

kaib - hi there - you sound like you have an excellent GP there - that is such a godsend!! So just curious how do you know that your LP is not right?? Were you charting?? sorry if i am asking a dumb question but i would be interested to know?
I totally get what you are saying and think that having a break is very sane!!
Wouldnt it be great to sometimes be naive again and have "no idea" about Ovulation and all of that stuff and just fall pregnant IYKWIM !!

I have had a busy weekend and just cruising along - much happier this month cause Dh and i got some BD on some really good days of the cycle so that is really good!!
Over the weekend we had a xmas party and then caught up with friends and i tell you all weekend I had babies popped on my lap all the time (friends kids) I was even at one point mistaken for the mother of one bub by a waitress which was so nice and just so confronting at the same time!!

My sister is having a baby next month - her second and that is very exciting and as you would all imagine very confronting at the same time = happiness and sadness so closely aligned together.

hcg levels are at 14, yes i would like to TTC now , it is now 32 days since D&C, i would have prob already O i really dont know where my cycle would be at , thought i would wait for AF then TTC.just dont know?

Congrats to all the ladies with BFPs this month, especially Kiwigirl. I had a feeling it would happen on your travels, and I've a feeling this one's meant to be. Are you going to tell you family & friends over Christmas?

hey girls just checking in to see how every one is doing as for me this is a af i really wish i hadn't have got my first two were ok but this one iv'e had to take pain killers for two days and use a heat pack so i am of to the fs next mnth.

Hi Starrysky - yep, hanging in there...thanks for the 'hugs'; have got fingers crossed for your testing in 3 days time.

Annabelle - yeh, I am fortunate to have an empathic GP, and I've been seeing her for long enough now that she knows my history along with knowing how to reassure my 'type A' personality (ie tendency to worry and become stressed very easily)!! With respect to the inconsistent luteal phase length, yep, I'm charting my temps almost every day (when I get a sound sleep which is every other night for me) and then entering them onto FF. So FF calculates at the end of each month what your LP is (i.e. based on what FF detects as 'ov' date and then what date your next AF starts). I know that most women have consistent LPs from month to month, irrespective of what day they ovulate, so that's why I raised it with my GP, and she agreed it couldbe a concern, but she wants to just observe my cycles for a couple more rounds yet. I'm ok with that, because realistically, I don't think anything much would be achieved in the way of testing and seeing a specialist before christmas anyway. Hypothetically, if my LPs were still all over the place in a couple of months time, that could suggest some hormonal imbalance which I understand can be treated easily once they know what the imbalance is. I'm also hoping that the inconsistent LPs are still an ongoing symptom of the m/c in July and chem preg in Oct, as the problem should rectify itself if that is the case. Hope your TWW is going fast - when are you due to test?

Nothing thrilling on my end. DP's away for work this week. Usually that bugs me, but it's been good only having to worry about myself and DD. Catching up on some reading, in between bouts of spring cleaning. Only 2 weeks before we move now. Cant wait, though Im not looking forward to flying with DD, or having so much to do before Chrissie.
I hope you're all doing well, and chilling out in preparation for Xmas. Hope Santa brings you all a BFP, you all deserve it. Anyway, will continue to pop in every few days. Take care, and keep on shaggin......;)

well, couldnt help myself, pulled out my last test and poas! no it wasnt a sensitive one but I did it all the same, got a bfn, oh well, I am still sitting here deluding myself that there is a very, faint line (so faint I cant see it unless I stand in direct sunlight and squint at it!!)
no too disappointed though, I have my new job to look forward to!I start on the 10th dec, should be interesting!
