Heya Audax & tac,
Thought I'd pop in and let you know that I finished my last cycle of "Keemo", as I've been calling it. My support crew came in with me for my last shot. My best friend went and got me a "Happy No More Keemo Day" ice cream cake which the 4 of ate after the event.
I'm so relieved it's over - although some of the side effects are still kicking around just to remind me. Now I have to wait for that letter to arrive in the mail with my new appointment time, so they can tell me what I have to do in relation to monitoring, and what I can and can't do in relation to the future.
So I guess this begins to beginning of the year long wait. Peanuts EDD is now less than 3 weeks away. It's hard to contemplate that most women who spent as much time with hcg in their system as I did walk away with a bub. I'm thinking of getting a tatt. Something small, partly as a memorial to what I've been through. Partly in memory of my little Peanut. And partly to remind me of the lessons I've learnt.
How are your little squirts going?

Hey Cookie my love! Awesome news! Congratulations! And ice cream cake sounds like a great move!
A tatt sounds like a fab idea. I have thought about this - something like a zero, but the inside of it would be reflective, kind of like an oval mirror. Because the zero is just the best thing ever, and the whole time is all about reflecting, and considering where you're at. Anyway, i never got round to it, you go for it!
The bambino is going well, as far as I can tell. This week I celebrated my 21st! 21st hcg blood test :D Haven't got the results yet  I'll get there. 12 wek scan is still two weeks away, but fingers crossed tightly for that one.
