Hi,
mammal - what makes you think your nausea is caused by nerves?
Cherie26 - Sorry about the BFN. Your symptoms sound so promising. Hopefully the next test will give you a better result.
Salt - some women say they feel like AF is coming on even when they are pregnant so don't write it off yet.
Zionsmom - Bad news about the BFN. Here's to hoping the next one will be a BFP.
:)
It's 5DP CD18 for me today. I had a .3 temp rise which is nothing unusual for me around now, I just need it to stay up instead of dropping again which is what it is likely to do tomorrow. I woke up with a big pimple on my chin & a thumping headache. I'm really tired but both my DF & I have been for the last couple of weeks so that doesn't mean anything.
-
Thanks Satya! After the BFN at 12dpo it made me just quit in my head but I actually woke up with a headache and a couple pimples last week too. :) Can be promising, I am crossing everything for no AF tomorrow. I am not gonna test tomorrow but I will post whether or not Af is here. :)
-
zionsmum - please let us know if you get a :bfp: *took a look at your signature and saw it was 30 of 30*

Hi, Satya.
The nausea is sort of faint, like that I often get when I’m under stress. I’ve had to deal with a number of very sad or stressful things in the last few weeks, so stress-tummy would make sense. But I think really I’m just looking for an explanation for feeling a bit strange and I know it’s not rational to think it’s caused by a pregnancy when I’m only a few DPO (five days now). I don’t want to get my hopes up too much… but I just want to be pregnant so badly! Today I’ve been a bit teary, but again, I think that’s due to the non-reproductive stressors.
So strange to write this, but the pimple and headache sound promising!

I will post Lizjessie... My AF is due tomorrow although I am going to wait a couple more days. Unless AF comes then I will post that. :)
I know what you mean Mammal, I have myself feeling almost every symptom in the book grrrrrrr :)
-
zionsmum - Good luck! I'm hoping things will be good for you!
-
Thanks lizjessie :) I hope so to

Hi all!
Well my temp dropped below the coverline this morning so af is on its way :(
I really thought this way my month so I am pretty devistated. I also did a test this morning and it was a bfn so no chance.
Hope things go better for you Diane, Let us know when you test hopefully you will get a bfp and give us some hope!
Good luck to everyone else testing.

mammal - sounds like your nausea could be stress related then. It's hard when you want to be pg so badly, you can't help but analyse everything.
zionsmom - hope AF stays away today.... and for the next 8 months.
cherie26 - Sorry AF is on her way. I hate that feeling you get when you just know you are out for the cycle. I think it gets harder with each unsuccessful cycle.
I'm really annoyed at the moment as I just had some problems with FF. After printing my last cycle out I accidentally went in to the wrong date and changed one of my cycles. It then took 20 mins to get it back to how it was as I got myself so confused.
6DPO nasty skin breakout on face and back....I do usually get some pimples around about now but I'm sure there's more than I normally get.... not reading anything into it though. I've been getting really cranky at work about little things too. .1 drop in temp this morning.

I’m so sorry to hear about AF, Cherie26. Your symptoms sounded so positive, I was sure both you and Zionsmom were going to get BFPs. :( Does it help at all to give your little boy a cuddle?
Zionsmom- I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Satya – does your temp tend to step down bit by bit at the end of the month usually? Most often, mine is high for ten days and then drops half a degree or more on the day before AF. But I did have one step-down cycle and always wondered what that was about. I wondered if it had to do with my progesterone levels tapering, but I forgot to ask the doc last time.
6DPO here and I’ve been trying to imagine a little egg burrowing into my uterine wall. I figure visualization might not help, but it probably won’t hurt! I haven’t thought this much about my bbs since I was 11, so I asked DH to let me know if they looked bigger or darker or anything. From his expression, you’d think I’d just told him there was an extra Christmas this year!
-
mammal - my temp usually rises about .3 or .4 C after O and then rises by around .1 or drops by .1 every so often sometimes staying even for 3 days until i notice a rapid drop about 2 days before AF arrives. I usually get spotting when that drop happens. Since charting I have only had one cycle that continued to rise throughout the cycle then dropped the day before AF arrived and that was the first cycle after m/c.
I'm experiencing major mood swings today - earlier it was anger, then it changed to tears after a couple of insensitive comments from a work colleague. I wish I could say it's a good sign but I've had mood swings in the past in week 3 and they've meant nothing. Roll on week 4 so that things can start to even out again.
-
Cherie so sorry about your AF :( So frustrating
Satya I hate that I have had that this last week alot anger to wanting to just cry, ALOT I hope it does mean something this time
Thanks Mammal :)
Ummmm So Its not 6 pm where I am at and no af, I described on the TTC thread that I just had some yellowish CM that was just a tad bit stretchy (tiny tiny bit) SO I am sad to say that I caved and tested at 5ish and got a BFN Both times I have been pregnant I got my positives 2 days give or take after my period was due. So technically I could still be hopeful but I doubt it I bet my period is late due to stress. So what do you think should I just throw in the towel????? I am so sad even though AF hasn't come yet
-
Don’t throw in the towel yet, Zionsmom! There are so many stories of people whose BFNs were followed by BFPs several days later. Can you treat yourself, something that will cheer you up and help you relax? Maybe a nice walk or some sweets or perhaps your partner would rub your back? Maybe in a day or two you could try one of those early detection tests with first-morning urine (it’s more hormonally concentrated than in the afternoon).
This forum is very reassuring to me. I’ve been so nervous about some things—like crying while I was stuck in traffic (worried that it was a sign my depression was inching into a dark place) or feeling so tired (wondered whether I was getting sick), etc. But then I read Satya and others’ posts and I feel so normal! That other people have these as well as other issues (even on the same DPO!) and everyone’s getting by is a great relief. Even though I wish everyone felt great all the time, knowing such intimate details about people’s fears and the unpleasant things our bodies do gives me a great deal of hope that things will work out in the long run. So thank you all for being so open!
I might be quiet for a few days as I’m not certain I’ll have internet access while travelling (I hope to have access, but not sure). But I will certainly be thinking of all of you! Best of luck!

Thanks mammal, I just have a feeling that my AF is going to show in a week or something and then its going to throw off my ovulation and I am going to be REALLY mad. Even though Af still isn't here I spent all day yesterday crying and I took some medicine to knock me out last night I could not even go to my DH's softball game, cuz my preg. friend was going to be there and I didn't wanna cry when I saw her. Stupid of me I know. I have been so stressed I know my mind and body is playing tricks on me!
-
Zionsmom - No don't throw in the towel yet - not until AF arrives - and hopefully she wont. It's really hard having to see pregnant women isnt' it? I avoid it whenever possible. A work colleage upset me yesterday by saying something like "it must be a wonderful feeling being pregnant" after she'd been looking at baby photos of another colleague. I couldn't answer her, I looked away and stared at my computer fighting back tears until she walked away from the area and then they started falling. She knows my situation, how could she say that to me. I wanted to scream at her "yes I know it's great being pregnant, I have been pregnant, in fact I should be 23 weeks right now can you please shut the f*** up" but of course said nothing.
Mammal - It is good to see how other people feel going through the same thing as you. It somehow makes you feel more normal. Yesterday morning I also had tears in the car on the way to work as I passed the spot where someone got killed in an accident on Monday. I saw the marker and bunches of flowers and it just started. My day just never got better from then on.
:)
Fell asleep at 9pm last night which is really early for me. Was ravenously hungry from about 4pm yesterday which is not normal for me. Nothing else to report.
-
Satya,
These are all positive signs !!!!!!! fingers crossed. legs crossed, arms and anything else are all crossed !!!! This is your month !!
-
Satya thank you so much for responding to me in 2 separate posts. :) I hate that people speak without thinking! I should be 25 weeks right now and I had to go to a co-workers party that she was giving for her daughter, her DD was visiting from out of town. Anyways the daughter is 23 weeks pregnant and she brought out a cake and we all had to sing Happy Baby to you... To the tune of Happy Birthday. It was fine but lets just say I drank ALOT that night. :) Anyways your symptoms sound nice I can't wait until you can test. :)
-
zionsmum - it's like me - I should be week 11 now but I'm not *sighs*
