Hi girls
Helen, I like the way your friend thinks. Yes, unfortunately I don't have the luxury of youth on my side (not that I am way beyond fertile years) but sometimes we just have to give fate a helping hand - she is a very busy woman helping all of us along!
The decorating sounds like fun but hard work, be sure to take care and use friendly chemicals!
I completely understand the obsession with this site. DH says my face lights up when I'm on here chatting to you all.... and then he says "why don't you smile like that with me?". Oh how do you make them understand the bond we share?
Theresa, oooooo I am really excited for you. I am sending tons and tons of "positive" vibes your way
Lan, how did your sausage rolls turn out yesterday?
Paula, be sure to get an extra BD in tonight!!
I'm on CD21 today and just started noticing CM tonight. Hmmm bit late ha? Looks like Paula, Lan, Megan, Teagz and I will all be testing in the same week!

Crap, I just saw your post about your bleed, Diana. Big like AF? Tell us how you go at the clinic tomorrow. You do O late. Does your CM appear right on O or before. I usually start CM on CD10 or 11 then O around CD14 or 15. We do appear to all be on the same timeframe. I hope Theresa kicks us all off with a BFP at the end of this week.
Helen! You're back! I missed you! Don't worry about your ticker. It's just the host site going offline. Bub is fine - kicking much? You always exert yourself. I remember you were gardening when you were just pregnant, now you're redecorating. How about something gentle like reading? Hehe, Do you sand with a power tool? I can barely stick a hook on the wall straight so I'm very impressed with you.
Theresa, you are very patient. I'd be peeing by now. Haha. Does DF know what a touch and go time this is or is he pretending to be all cool about it? I demand for a BFP announcement by Friday!
Good to see you back Beata. Is AF still being painful today? Is Beata your name? I think I know everyone's names but yours.
Jo76, you're back also. So pleased to hear from you. I can't wait to hear about your psychic reading. I've been talking to a girl from work about going to one but I'm not sure what I want from it. Also there's so many types - tarot cards, tea leaves, star charts etc. You sound handy too. When we moved we bought heaps of furniture and DH assembled it all by himself but having a drill thing that screws everything in was very handy.
I painted two pictures for my Hamish in the last week. I bought three canvasses before we lost him to decorate his room. I pulled them out on new year and decided to paint them and decorate his room anyway. I painted one with him sleeping on a cloud, one with David and I smiling to Ham in the sky with his angel wings. The third one I just painted the background colour and will add an image for our earth baby when s/he comes into our lives.
Oh Diana, my sausage rolls were tasty but the pastry is really oily/buttery. I felt a bit sick afterwards but now I know how to make sausage rolls :-)
Goodnight my dears.

Hello Girls,
Theresa I am so excited for you, stay away AF and bring on a BFP :crossfingers:
Helen, good to hear from you. I am sure it is really rewarding preparing Corey's room, sounds lovely!
Teagz, I hope your first day at work was ok, take it easy this week won't you, a big shock to the system after 5-weeks, not to mention what you have been through. BTW, what the heck were you doing chopping down a tree! You should be taking it easy women, I'm all for exercise but after what you've been through!! Seeing that licence plate cracked me up, hopefully it's a sign - :D Oh, almost forgot, I was told to wait at least one cycle as well, only for dating reasons though. If you do get a BFP they will always date on an u/s, so win/win either way.
Diana, give that little BFP car a good rub honey, your turn next. Can you imagine going to the RTA and been given a plate with BFN, you'd be like sorry I can't take these plates like some kind of weirdo - LOL.
Hi Jo, good to hear from you, hope that bowel pain has gone, I'm sure it is really scary while pregga's, but hospital food will do that to you. Congrat's on 25-wks  you must be getting nice and big now, give your belly a nice rub.
Paula, I would have thought O was Sun as well. I think I O'ed on Sunday as well so we'll be testing at around the same time. When do you POAS, is it when AF is due or when it's a couple of days late? I hope we both get a BFP together  I hope your exam went well.
I am now in the TWW, so fingers crossed. I know I would be pretty lucky if it happened in the first month, so I'll TRY and be patient. Is really hard to be patient this time round after everything that's happened.
Hi to Lan, Laney, Jo76, Dee, Beata, Tildy, Cindee, TM (thinking of you, hope your ok). Sorry to anyone I have missed. :D
-
Zachary's Mom - I have butterflies in my belly for you! I really hope you get your BFP!!
Berry - I didn't techincally chop the tree.. I just helped load up all the branches into the back of the ute ><; It wasn't to bad! Towards the end I became supervisor :P
And I did survive my first day of work, Thankfully everyone was in and out all day so I was able to sit on my own and get my head around everything again.
hgirs - Yep I think you and Tildy are right on the money.. I like your way ofthinking anyway :)
Sorry for the short posts girlies but I'm off to clean up my messy kitchen :)
xx

Hiya Lan, before Sebastian I had 33 day cycles and O around day 19, so fairly late anyway but CM came in abundance and would begin about 3-4 days beforehand so I was very confident. The bleed after DTD on Sunday was like an AF bleed, then turned into spotting by the end of the night, then Monday and today nothing. The little CM I noticed last night has now gone too. I am really messed up, hence my decision to try IVF.
The paintings brought tears to my eyes Lan. What an absolutely beautiful thing to do for Hamish. He is a very lucky boy to have you as a mum. Are you dabbling or have you studied art?
Megan, I pictured myself at the RTA saying that and laughed like mad. Fingers crossed for the 2WW. Any symptoms? The first month trying for me was really hard, the anxiety and desperation for a BFP almost sent me insane. I'll give the BFP car a rub (or may just lie on the bonnet for a while) for you and the other TTC-ers.
Dee, good to hear you had a great day at work and your co-workers were very supportive.
Cindee WOO HOO for a great scan. You must be over the moon.
Sue, where have you been? Hope all is ok with you and bubs.
Theresa, one more day until testing! Any symptoms?
Hi Beata, hope your headache has gone. Only a few more days until you get that nasty fibroid removed!
Paula, get one last shot in last night?
Good morning to all my lovely friends I missed. Will check in again later after my FS appointment.
-
What time's your appt today Diana? So I can think positive thoughts :-) Actually I'm in the same slump as you are. I'm over it. I don't want to TTC anymore. Sick of counting days, looking at CM, blah blah blah. So because of that I missed yesterday which was only CD12 but I'm still upset that I missed BD day and now I'm upset at everything. Hissssssssssssss!
Where is Sue? I hope she's just too caught up planning baby things to be posting. Come in and tell us how you and Lily are going, Sue!
Cindee, you did cheer me up a little with images of your jumping bean bubba. When is your next scan? At 27wks or after?
I wonder how I posted twice while Beata's post got wiped? Stupid internet.
Oh Diana, I haven't studied painting. I think I paint like a child but I enjoy it :-) How about you and I move into the BFP car?
Morning all! Sorry to be a sook.
-
My appt is at 10.30. Thanks for the positive thoughts.
Lan my darling, you are very entitled to be sooky during this hard process and it does become a huge effort counting days, examining our secretions (ew) etc. :comfort: I'll get the BFP car ready for us and put up a few hooks so you can hang your beautiful paintings. :D
Now don't stress too much about missing BD on CD12. You still have a few days to catch your little egg.

Hi girls,
Sorry I have been MIA, though I have been lurking, but have been busy at work and trying to keep cool.
All is well here and I have my fingers crossed for all you TTC girls this month. To be honest I tried to stay away a little, as it must be getting hard for you girls here with TTC and having us pregos talking about other things. My heart also goes out to Teagz who was in my BB Due Group and I didnt want to upset her and thought that she needed you guys more (though I miss you heaps!!!)
Diana - good luck for your appointment today. I have done IVF and understand the anxiety of going down this track. I didn't find it too hard, though it is quite draining on when to inject etc etc. I think my most anxious time was when I had the egg retrieval, but serious that wasnt too bad. If you want to ask any questions, please do not hesitate. A little advice to you, I was successful first time round in IVF, but unfortunately lost my little bubs due to coming off metformin (bad advice from Ob) and have stayed on it for this pregnancy. When you have the embryo put back in, spend 4-5 days on complete bed rest. Apparently you have better blood flow and have better chance of bubs sticking.
Lan you are amazing, when reading about you doing those paintings. You are very special and have a heart of gold.
Beata - hope your headache has gone and you are feeling better.
Cindee - congrats on a great scan.
Jo - yippee for reaching 25 weeks. Look forward to hearing more fantastic news soon.
Hello to everyone one else.
xxx Sue xxx

Dee81 - Glad that your first day back at work went well :)
Beata - BB does that to me ALL the time!! I ctrl C - ctrl V now before I actually hit the post button now, just in case!
Hope your first day back at work went ok as well, and sorry to hear about the headache. Hope you had a good sleep and slept it off!
Cindi - Oh what a bummer about the pictures. Great that you have an active little bubby though. I love watching them wriggle around on the ultrasounds :)
DD - ROLF!! I'd love to see the face of the owner of "CarBFP" when they walk out to see you splayed across it's bonnet XD Good luck with your appointment today as well!
Syran - You cannot upset me! (I'm woman, hear me roar :)) But seriously... You deserve your little baby so much, I wouldn't think I'd have the right to be upset at something so precious. Especially towards someone that is so in love with their little bundle :)
AFM. AF this morning. Humph. That's all I got to say!
-
Well I am booked in for my first IVF treatment. I am soooo overwhelmed with information at the moment and Ifeel like having a good cry - not sure if that's due to happiness or stress yet. I had a blood test today to check if I O'd, get the result tomorrow and start Synarel spray to supress my natural hormones until I start injections. I questioned whether the spray would effect anything if I happened to fall pg naturally this month but have been assured it won't. I have a pg blood test before I start the injections to be sure. Do any of our IVFers have any info on this?
Hi Sue, welcome back. You pg ladies are my inspiration so for me, no need to stay away. Ithink you will find all of the others feel the same way. Glad all is going well with you.
Thanks for the advice. Sorry but I don't know what metformin is - my FS hasn't mentioned it. Is it something I should ask about? He did tell me I will have progesterone pesseries but I assume that's different? I will take your advice and spend a few days at home after the transfer. If I have any questions, I will definitely ask. Thanks so much x
Oh Teagz, sorry AF has arrived but at least you have had a proper cycle now and you can safely BD like mad! Are you waiting for any test results?
-
Diana - Yep still waiting on test results. We got half back saying that the reason Jayvan died was because his internal cavity had filled with fluid, they are still trying to work out how it happened and are still looking at the genetics. I've also got all the blood tests back they did on me as well which showed no infections or chomosone (sp?) issues etc that could have caused what happened. We saw our Dr on the 5th of Jan and he said then that the rest of the results will be another 2 weeks or so, so hopefully they aren't very far away now.
And I think you should have a good cry & let it all out! You've been through so much it must be so overwhelming for you now. I really do hope this all goes smoothly for you and you get a BFP shortly, this thread is due for a BFP from someone! ^^;

Hi girlies,
I thought I'd squeeze in a quick post ( at work, he he ). Headache almost gone, but feel hot and bothered today..
Diana hun, I just want to give you a huge hug.. I know IVF seems so overwhelming, there is so much information to digest and prosess, but believe me when you start your injections you'll be fine becasuse every day you'll be getting closer to creating those beautiful embyos. I didn't have the nasal spray as my cycles are always regular, I started the injections on the first day of AF. I had the gonal ( sp? ) injections first and then after a few days a second injection ( so two in total in one day ) for a few days with u/s in between to see how many follicles were growing. In no time, I had the final injection on the day I ovulated and then the eggs were out. Then 5 days later ( we opted for 5 day old blast embyos ) they did the transfer. I have to say I was very bloated with the drugs, but not at all in pain or uncomfortable. It was OK. Dont worry hun, when you start the injections, you'll feel you're getting one step closer to your dream. If you have any questions at all, please just ask. I am more than happy to answer anything I can...xxxx
Lan, don't give up hope hun, when I was TTCing a long while ago before I did IVF, I did the whole chart thing and the fern test, and then the temperature thing, and after a while it was just so frasturating, as AF always came. But I didn't realise at the time that DF's sperm count was really low, so that's why nothing was happening. hang in there possum xxx
Sue, I know you've been gone for longer periods at a time, but please keep us updated on your progress ! I love hearing what is happening with you and Lily. don't stay away ! You are an inspiration to us all !! xx
Teagz, sorry that AF came, stupid AF. But think of it another way hun. If you didn't get AF you wouldn't be able to conceive. There. There is someting good in it ( eventhough we'd still like it to keep away ! ). I'm thinking of you hun, I know it must be pretty frasturating not knowing why your little Jayvan had fluid in his chest. I hope you get some more answers soon xx
Love ang hugs to the rest.

Thank you girls,
I really did miss chatting to you guys as you all have been a big part of my life for the 3 years of TTC.
Diana - Yes the information on IVF is the most overwhelming bit. As with Beata, I didnt require the nasal spray and only started injecting 3 days after AF arrived. It is amazing how quickly the month goes and I read somewhere that you are meant to visually think about your eggs growing strong and after you have the embryo back in, visual it implanted and multiplying. Metformin isnt required during IVF, but I have a "insulin resistant" problem (sugar levels) and was on metformin before pregnancy and during pregnancy and at the moment, they are monitoring my blood levels to see if I will require to have insulin as well (gestation diabetes) hopefully not....
Teagz - I am so sorry AF arrived and hoping next month brings you a BFP.
