Hi Ladies,
I just got back from the high risk OB. Our little man is on the big side 71st percentile. He is about 2.2 pounds now. It is still so difficult to understand/believe that he is growing so well.
I had my GD test yesterday because I have been feeling a little sick. My doctor said that diabetes wouldn't make me sick but who knows. I should know more today or tomorrow.

Berry - hang in there - if you want, we can test together I can wait ... maybe.... but it can help to have someone doing the TWW with you?? I really don't want to test until after the 3rd April coz thats 2 missed periods counting 28 days per cycle from MC. Just don'tr know if I can hold out that long. DH is convinced I am he has picked it everytime so far.
Beata - will be hoping and :pray: June will be your month.
DD - good on you hun,we will all be hoping for you.
AFM - we're still feeling the earth move out here 3.5 quake 2km deep yesterday. I am still crapping myself but a colleague made a good point that our house is pretty safe considering its stilted because it takes so many stilts to hold up a house AND considering the house is 111years young this year it has been through bigger ones. Its a little reassuring but quakes still make me jumpy.
I can't win ATM I have been feeling really off, if I eat I feel sick, if I don't eat I feel sick. I think I am UTD but don't want to test or get excited just yet I am so worried it won't stick.
Tomorrow I am heading into the BellyBelly Centre in Canterbury, I am sooo excited, I can't wait to see the place, I just want to check everything out. I am thinking I might go in and see the Naturpath or Tarot reader at a later date depending on how everything goes.

well my bloods have travelled half the country i think and i still don't have a result maybe tommorrow they tell me. because i got them done at my local gp they stuffed up where they were meant to be sent and then to make things worse they never put on them that the results were meant to go to qfg. have done another poas and still negative so i'm getting ready to start again am feeling a lot better about the fact. on a better note today got a letter from the fs stating that chloe didn't have any chromosone imbalance so that has made me feel so much better and i think has made dh feel better as well.
hope all you lovely ladies are all doing well i will let you know as soon as i have a defiant answer.it could be a while at this rate.
anyhow tonight am cooking a special dinner for dh as feel that he deserves it for being such an amazing and understanding man.

Not much news from me I'm affraid. AF is just finishing, no idea what CD I'm on because I just think that no amount of counting and agonising over days and CM is making squat of a difference for me. Trying to Concentrate more on being healthy as I've been run to the ground the last few weeks and catching everything that's around and it's obviously not doing me any favours.
I told mum that our wedding is back on and she is THRILLED and gone back into planning mode :p It's funny, sometimes you'd think that it was her wedding haha But she's having fun. I have a friends wedding this weekend which is good, I'm going to be on full wedding planning alert... plus she is using the same caterer that we have in mind!
Dee, I hope those BT results come back quickly. I hate how that whole aspect of everything takes so friggen long.

Teags - Happy 21st you young cat you! I hope you had a blast!!! Weddings are fun to organise. My husband and I got married last year in April (1st anniversary is just around the corner - YAY). We got married overseas in Malta after travelling through Europe together - I had the time of my life! I hope your wedding is SUPER!!!
beata - thanks for asking about the pg. Its a very different experience so far. Its my third pg (both angels :() and its totally unlike the others. I don't have sore nipples yet, just sorer boobs than normal (a bit like when you are about to get your period). The heart isn't racing, not out of breath, not entirely fatigued (just had a tired day yesterday) - but yes, its very random. I don't know if its a good thing or bad thing. Someone I know told me about qualititative blood test etc... and it made me a little worried about rising levels etc... So I guess I was a little worried that the lack of symptoms meant the pregnancy wasn't strong or something. I dunno, just the fear of it all I'm sure - very natural after my experiences. Anyhow, sorry to have gone on... how are you? Where you at?
Nae: Howdy girlfriend. News with me - well see above. No, its all good. Everything is wonderful and I'm very fortunate and blessed. I had my GP appointment yesterday (as I wanted to wait till I missed the period) and it came up positive with her pg test. Had the bloods taken and am going for those results today at 12.15. After this I think I'll be sort of ok. Then I have to get to 6 weeks and then all the other milestones - oooooh such a panic merchant! (understandably).
How are you? I always imagine you sitting in a beautiful old home on a green farm looking out the window - wierd huh! I think its is because of our transition of seasons convo last time :P
I think you are very strong to have waited this long - I commend you! Man, I'm hopeless at being patient. Fingers, toes and everything is crossed for you lovely.

AFM - alls good. Plus, I just want to take it really easy. I am off the coffee and tea, I drink orange juice every day for vitamin C and I walk 2kms every day. I want to be really healthy to give this pregnancy every chance! Please Please - make this one the one!

Jos, I have read almost everywhere that preg symptoms mean diddly-squat to how strong your pregnancy is. I think it is just one of those old wives tails, really. DF sisters have had 4 pregnancy's between them and have NEVER had morning sickness or any of that other stuff and all 4 kids are here and perfectly perfect... A friend of my brothers lost her second baby in a row on my birthday at 16 weeks.. She is 19, and I just don't think she would have the same support that I have from you guys, DF and my mum. I just feel horrible for her, the poor love.

AFM - Had our nuchal scan today. It was such a relief to see our baby and see the heart beat!!! I have had dreams the last 2 nights that they told me there was no heart beat and I have been freaking out!!!
Results should be received on Ties/Wed. Bub is now 6.6cm and heart rate was 162bpm. I feel so relieved!!! Just want the other results and I may be able to realx a bit.
I am so tired as I have had a 13 hour day yesterday and a 12 hour day today. Just wanted to post before I go to bed.

Blood test results came back fine - everything was in great order. So I'm feeling relived (just a little!!!!). ;) next step is to make it to six weeks, then 9 then 12.
I'll be stopping work probably within the next three to four weeks. Only because I am a Personal Trainer which means that my job involves lifting, running around etc... so I can't chance it. I stopped working at 7 weeks with Grace because I had extreme morning sickness, so poor DH is used to it.
Just a thought, are any of you girls on Private Health already? Just in case? what does everyone think about it?? I have it (very lucky actually, I made it through by 5 days!!!!) I found a provider that only has a 9 month wait so after I joined, five days later I must have fallen pregnant. How lucky!!! Still would love some opinions on it.
Berry: ha ha, my real name is Jasmine - my BB name was/is Joselyn. At the beginning I used the name Joselyn because I wasn't comfortable using my real name - now I don't care. The name Joselyn was chosen because when I was younger and was a receptionist I would answer the phone "good morning Jasmine speaking" and they would always say "Oh hello Joselyn". so my friends made fun by always calling me Joselyn. Its a nice name though... :p

I have tested and immediately got a :bfp: :dance: I am cautiously optimistic about it all (obviously knowing my history) and hoping so hard that I have a little sticky one this time round. :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Not going to do a formal pregnancy announcement until I get further along nor am I going to go to the Drs until I have gone past the 30th so that way I have missed 2 cycles.
All my symptoms seem to be stronger than the last pregnancy so I am hoping that that is a good sign.
Now for Perssies:
Beata - I was going to hold out until later and not get too excited until 2 periods missed but hey, I am only human :lol: hows work going??
ZM - dreams are wonderful sometimes aren't they NOT!!! I am so glad things are goin well for you.

Jos, That's great about your test results. Bring on those milestones!! We're on private health... not that I've actually gotten a chance to use it yet - and with jayvan we missed out on it my two months because there was a 12 month waiting period and I got UTD probably a month after applying. Oops... But from my point of view the only difference it makes is hospital stay? Which in my area is niether here nor their because the private and public hospital here share the exact same building, all that devides you is what's written on your sheet of paper!
Beata, My mum has been through a stillbirth and a late loss between my brother and I, Everytime AF has arived for me the last couple of times we've sat down and had a big cry together about our angels. So, I think she needs the wedding distraction just as much as I do at the moment! Hope that migrane has gone away, yerk!

I am in an all day conference but just had to excuse myself to take my FS's call and update you all before I go back in - very long loo break this is!
Anyway my HCG today is over 2000 today (they like it to be over 3000 at this stage) and my progesterone has dropped to 28 (from 39). FS said it's still too early to celebrate and the next few weeks will be critical but he is happy the levels are going up. It's not dire, but not the excellent news I wanted.
I am going for a scan next Friday so I guess that will determine how everything is going and if little one has a healthy beating heart.
This waiting is sure testing me - and really really hurting! Who said it's a 2WW - more like a 6WW for me!

I'm very glad the levels are going up hun, I know the FS would like them to be higher, but the more I read about the levels the more I find that some women start off with lower levels and still go on to have healthy bubs. Jasmine, now I get the whole name thing, how funny. Glad to hear your BT results were all good, great news. I hope the rest of your pg goes this smoothly :D I have private health, have had it for a while now. I am seriously considering going public next pg due to the high costs. I'm like Teagz, I get hardly any benefits from any service i.e. OB, scans etc except for hospital. I had so many tests done when pg with Jasmine, we ended up paying over $6000 and perhaps got back about $1000. I ended up having to have her in a public hospital anyway and the nurses were so great, it made me start to re-think how I want to do the whole thing next time.
Diana, I can imagine how painful the whole waiting game must be for you. Keep holding onto hope, the fact that your levels are rising sounds very positive, but I understand you wanting to stay 'level headed about it (ifkwim). We'll keep praying that little bub keeps sticking and growing strong :hug:
Sue & Rozzie, nice to hear from you both. Rozzie, you must be getting so excited now, all the best for you and your DH, make sure you post again before the big day, I am sure everyone will want to wish you the best.
