Flowerchild - No, no, I am not upset about it, I had just never heard it. To be honest, I doubt that is what it is, as I have had blood test after blood test and they would have tested for it I am sure. I think when I saw your post, I had a knee-jerk reaction because I have had alot of trouble finding any infoformation on Hydrops that is not lots of medical mumbo-jumbo and just to see something written in english I got a bit excited. But I am sure after the autopsy, all of my blood tests and the genetic counselling, it would have been ruled out. I will definetly ask about it though when I have my appointment in 6 weeks. Thanks so much for the info though.

I had to specifically ask about parvo virus after my second angel... But given what happened wih Asha it's likely you were tested. You can just phone your obs office and then you will know within the day if it helps you... :hug:

well i am doing okay, am with mel that i want to divorce aunt florence (bailey LMAO), at least for the next 9 months. just waiting to see if our flights are confirmed, looks like we will be heading to UK next weekend for two weeks for work, only thing I am hesitant about is that we might have to join the mile high club in order to get that BFP in June, not sure both my and DP's bellies will fit in one of those toilets. lol

Spring - yep it is cold and wet in Canberra today so definitely wrap up warm. It would be great if you can check out places on the way here - I am lazy and always fly when i visit Sydney so have no idea. Hope you enjoy yourself and take it easy.

Bailey - how are you? has the m/s kicked in yet? I have been feeling nauseas on/off for the last few days but today is the worst - i have such a keen sense of smell that even my banana has me gagging.

Lynn - can't wait to hear the results - i have everything crossed for you (I look very strange I can tell you!!)

Tommysmum - where are you? I hope your scan went okay yesterday - let us know how it all went.

Flowerchild - good luck with the u/s tomorrow - I am sure Col is doing fine. (My DH's name is Colin so it is really weird to me that you are calling your baby after my DH!! Just ignore me i am on a caffeine high I think today!!)

Yay Lynn!

Well finally i had my NT scan today and all is well. Baby was well and truly asleep and they keep budging my tummy to wake him (?) up so they could do the remainder of the measurements. So my next visit/scan is at 19 weeks so i have some time off now.

Bailey - i did have a Big Mac yesterday and i did not regret it (well at the first bite i did but not after the 2nd or 3rd). And i am sure i have put on a kilo of pure fat for it ! How ar eyou feeling ?

Lynn - how did you go today - can't wait to hear how you went....oops ok - see next post - missed a whole lot of posts here...don't know what is going on !!! yippee !!!!

Mel - do you want me to get a hitman for AF ? So you are having your "coit" next Thursday - sounds like fun. LOL...you can explain more on that one (but i have a feeling i know the procedure)...

NT SCAN - sorry i can't remember who asked about this (Georgie?) - again i cannot find the post from a couple of days (seem to be missing a bit here lately)....anyway Nuchal Translucency scan is done around 12-13 weeks checking for fetal abnormalities (eg: Down Syndrome)...they give you a risk assessment based on measurements (of the babies hed>neck>body etc); age; blood test etc... I have always had this (i think it is procedure at our hospital although some of my friends have not heard of this...???)

That is what i told Scott - very lazy ! I sort of want to find out although i am a person who likes suprises (i only want to find out because we lost a boy and i want to know if we are having another). Scott does not want to find out....so i think we will leave it - anway i have 7 weeks to think about it.

I tell you what - that babydust is certainly working this month !!!

I'm not really sure how I am feeling. Don't get me wrong, I am very very happy but I am also soooooo scared. I had a really good talking to Hope this afternoon telling her (?) that she is coming home with me. (not sure if she has ears yet :)) I then had a chat to Coop and thanked him for helping me through.

I was in too much shock to post anymore details before. My hcg level is 364 and my prog is 33. The prog level is good but my FS just wants me to take progesterone pessaries until 10 weeks to help support the pg. (like injecting yourself isn't bad enough!!! Now I have to pop pills up my woohaa!!!!) I don't care, I will do whatever it takes to bring home a healthy bub. I am going back next Thursday for another bt to check the levels. I am going to miss all these needles! LOL! I called my ob and he wants to see me in 2 weeks so we can discuss a plan. Love a plan! I also called my acupuncturist and he was so excited - he is so cute!

Tommysmum - that is excellent that your scan went well. I can understand about finding out what you are having. I think we are going to find out because if we are having a boy, I need to prepare myself for that.
