Lynn - what is going on ! See you guys must have been good to the golden pig - no bacon, ham, pork or anything for you and BAiley for the next 9 months at least !

BAiley - very exciting - i only did 2 different branded tests and that was enough for me to be convinced...i think 3 is definitely a BFP proven. How exciting !:dance: Did you get the referral ?

Am still in pjs but don't want to get out of my cosy bed - DD and I have been in here for hours - it is so cosy (god i am lazy today)..but i will be going for a walk tonight with a friend in the freezing cold - that will wake me up !

bailey - not going to start at the pig, am a vego anyway. he's not going to help me this golden pig year anyway. so glad that he has helped you guys though
tommysmum - he even gave me the ol "you only want me when you're ovulating", I had to laugh and explain to him that it only happens once a month, and for some not at all. he's a bright boy but sometimes I wonder. he said he is going to read up on it now cause he's wondering why there are so many pg women.

Bailey - WooooooooooooooHoooooooooooooo :confetti: You can't be wrong with 3 positives from different brands! I am going to start getting excited for you today but I will do kartwheels for you tomorrow when you get the confirmation!
I have to wait until next Thursday (9 more sleeps!!!! :doh:) until I have another bt to confirm (or deny) I am UTD. I have to try to resist the temptation to test because of the hcg injections I am doing. If I test too early I will get a false positive. My last injection is this Thursday so I think I will hold out until next Tuesday which is when AF is due. (yeah right I might squeeze one in on Monday................or Sunday..........NO!!!) I am a terrible test junkie and I have 8 hpt just sitting here begging to be used but I have to resist the urge. I might get DH to hide them.

Tommysmum - I promise to never eat pork, bacon or ham ever again if I get a bfp. But if it is negative - look out piggy!!!!! Don't you love those days tucked up in bed! I have done nothing all day. I am feeling sorry for myself with a sore throat and now a headache :cry:

Klee - men will complain if they aren't getting enough and they will complain if it is too much - you can't win! But get him busy next month. I hope work is ok and the crisis has been sorted out. Let's hope my sore throat is a sign :pray:

Lynn - Step away from the test....Lol, I told you guys I wasn't going to test til wednesday when AF shoulda/coulda been due, but Nooooo. I couldn't wait. I kind of had a feeling this month anyway, I had been feeling like cr@p all week - slight headaches, constipated lots of weeing etc. But I think I will be in the operating room before I believe it :D

Bailey: I think you did the right thing getting a test. That way you can see those lovely high levels and really start to get excited. I am sure 3 positive tests is enough for most people, but being a member of the nut-farm I understand the need to get a BT. I can't wait to hear the results.

Sorry it took a while to get on the PC tonight - I went to my doctors and she said that she thinks I am further along than I thought (closer to 6wks than 4wks) - based on my dodgy periods over the last two months and my nausea for the last 2wks. However, we only had unprotected sex on 05 May (Thomas' EDD) so I cannot be more than 4wks along.

Anyway, I had my bt (5 vials - gulp) and will get the results tomorrow afternoon - will let you all know asap. My doctor did not know whether to congratulate me or not, as it has only been 3mths since losing Thomas. Still we are very pleased in a scared sort of way!! She is also sending me for a scan to confirm dates and is referring me to the foetal medicine unit at Canberra Hospital for pre-natal care - that at least will help with the nerves I hope.

Anyway enough about me - I will read through your posts now and do some personals.

bailey - so glad you got to have a BT too - looking forward to hearing those levels.

Klee - LOL at DH - mine is feeling all sorry for himself too as he was hoping for a few more months 'practicing'. We were told that once I got pregnant sex had to be stopped so he is feeling very sorry for himself. I guess I will have to come up with some other ways to occupy him - hee hee. Hope your head is okay!! Its good to know we make you smile too!!!

Tommysmum - I will have to get a map out to look at places as I have only driven to Sydney once and I think we went through Goulburn. I will get back to you about it. All this talk about PJ's has got me sat at home all snuggly next to the log fire in mine too!!

Lynn - 9 more sleeps will go so quickly - I have everything crossed that you are our lucky 3rd. I am feeling good thank you - except I still have stomach cramps which I hate as it feels like AF. Once I get the results tomorrow I will start relaxing - I hope.

Spring Angel - yes it was bloody cold today - I left the house without my coat as it was so warm inside. Not be doing that tomorrow!! Would be great to meet you too - I will check out the map and let you know. Unfortunately I have only been in Australia for 3yrs and have lived them very protected within the ACT border!!

Flowerchild - thanks for checking up on me. Hope your dinner was lovely - I am on the CSIRO diet and always feel sorry for myself - that might change after my results tomorrow though as all those herbs are not that good for you.

I've done another 2 tests (1 Pregnow and 1 Pregnosis) and they are both positive. So with 5 positives over 3 days with two different brands, I think I might start to believe it now!
Well, then again, I might wait to hear back from the doctor :rolleyes: Woo hoo, that means I can make a ticker too now! Tthat is th real reason I wanted to get pregnant, the ticker.:D

I have 4 children and have recently have had 2 m/cs in a row at the end of the 1st Trimester - I still intend to keep trying as we still want to add to our family - so I'm with you on the craving another bubs scenario!

So yes...you are in the right place....!!

Jo - if you are trying to concieve after a loss, you are in the right place. Everyone here is so understanding and supportive, so feel fee to talk/cry/laugh/vent.

Klee - Lol, maybe you hit your head BECAUSE you are pregnant and you lost your balance?? When is your AF due?

Heybacko - I know, I am waiting to call them, but I don't want to stalk them either, lol. I am pretty sure that I am UTD, after all you would hope that 5 tests are not wrong huh? But just after last months false positive I am pretty hard to convince.

bailey - i must have been pg all my life, cause i am always losing my balance lol, think it was more the fact that i usually only work until 4 and i was still here at 5.30. AF due tomorrow or friday with all the same symptoms as last month so its pretty much a given that i am not pg

Well if you haven't guessed, I am home today. Just had a killer headache and my boss was great and suggested I take a day. I am flying to Brissy tomorrow until Sunday. One of my closest friend's sons is having his first Birthday. My big sister is there also and heaps of really good friends so I am looking forward to it. Spending today doing some cleaning and packing. Going to go out later and get some good footy food to watch the Maroons kick butt tonight.

Thanks for asking after me, I've a wobbly few weeks...AF was due Saturday (coz O'd 2 weeks before, EWCM, etc) but came in the night last night...ObGyn (not mine, just her partner is a patient of DH) reckons I could have had a chemical pg as had a load of HPT come back +ve but my hCG yesterday was 29 and then AF said hi!!:( (I'd rather think it wasn't and it was just hCG left from the D&C 7 weeks ago yesterday. Don't want to consider having a chem pg.)

I'm okay though as hadn't had a full-on AF since the D&C and wanted to give my uterus a chance to build the lining back up nicely - just when you think you might be, you want to know right there and then don't you!! Well I do, I'm a bit of a Bailey really (self-confessed serial tester!!!):lol:

Still, now I can graduate from the Waiting for AF Club and cross over here now!!

Hope you headache improves for tomorrow and the flight - how does Lil Spring find flying, does she like it???:p

Hey Heybacko: Sorry to hear that you have had a rough time of late. I would ignore what the ObGyn who isn't treating you who said about a possible chemical pregnancy. How would he know if you aren't his paitent. Seems irresponsible to be handing out advice willy nilly. My periods were out of whack for the first time in my life after I had Harrison. I had always had 28 day cycles and had a 31 day cycle so I am sure it is your body just getting back into the swing of things. The +ive HPT could have been as a result of your levels dropping back after the D&C, anyway, :hugs: to you babe, this is a new month and I have :crossfingers: for a :bfp: for you.

My headache is heaps better thanks, I just needed a sleep in and could have probably gone to work but I have 6 weeks of sick leave so one day won't hurt. I lay in bed until about 9.00am which was just delightful considering I usually get up for work at 5.50am!

I noticed you said Lil Spring was a 'she' hmmm, have you joined the trying to trick Spring into giving away the gender club. I hear Mel and Bailey are vying for President (lol). I think Lil' Spring will be active on the plane. It sure is the case when I am on the train, bub goes crazy whenever I get on the train which is a nice way to start the day.

Hope you are feeling better and those kiddies give mumma some computer time later on.

Ok, I finally called the doctors and I am official! Apparently my level is only 78 wich she said made me less than 4 weeks. Which, even though my last AF was exactly 5 weeks ago, because of my stupid cycles, I guess that varies it - maybe Flowerchild can tell me if that is right?? So, it looks like I can officially start to get excited now...maybe :lol:

I know, I was a bit stuck as she told my DH I could call her and as I don't have a ObGyn of my own and my GP was abit 'well it could be this or it could be that..', and now I wish I hadn't asked!! My fault I supoose!!

Yep, I'm usually bang on 28 days and this one was a 31-dayer so the cycle out of whack makes much more sense, I def. think the hCG was D&C left-over as I miscarried a few days before the D&C but didn't stop bleeding and had retained a lot of tissue which is why they D&C'd - bled for just over 5 weeks so guess my bhCG was still pretty high.

Makes much more sense and sits happier in my head too, thank you hun!!:hug:

Hee hee - do you think they would let me be Membership Secretary of the Trying to Trick Spring Club!!!:lol:

It's Hi-5 now, they are teaching my 2 1/2 year old how to use two dining chairs and a skipping rope to pretend to wave board - is it me or is that a tinsy bit irresponsible???? Luckily he is in his highchair having lunch so can't attempt to copy!!!

Heybacko, thanks for the jumping guys. But if you can trick Spring into revealing the sex, you are a better woman than the rest of us. She almost let it slip on Sunday, but no, it didn't come. I am sure that even if she said a 'he' or a 'she' to us, I don't really think I would even trust it, it could just be her slipping us a mickey. I suppose we will just have to wait. But I will be telling everyone as soon as I know....I am not a part pooper!

Thanks for the welcome. I feel like I'm going crazy with sadness and frustration some days after so many m/c and still ttc since October 2003. I hate shopping lately as I seem to run into people who I know who have 2-3 kids in the same time I've had nothing but m/c. I want to quit but can't KWIM?

Oooh, Bailey ...meant to say, I was told that the actual hCG figure (within the range) isn't important as such, rather that it keeps doubling every 48 hours or so until about 10 weeks(ish) - perhaps they will keep a check on it for you? Hey, you can now be a serial bhCG tester!!! :D Joking aside, it's a nice to get reassurance though, I know I'll want it next time.

Jo - my best friend in the UK about 9 mcs over a period of about 4 years and now has a 3 year old son, and is trying for no. 2 - she used to say exactly the same thing as you just said - wanted to quit but knew she wouldn't be able to.:hug:

Austrajoey - yes you are in the right place. I am so sorry for your losses. I hope that your journey here is short and sweet. I know how hard it is running into people with kids. I know my answer isn't the right one (I just don't go out) but you need to do what is right for you to protect your emotions. This is such a heartbreaking roller-coaster and you need to put yourself first. Take care babe :hug:

If I remember correctly, my levels were about the same when I got by BT about 51/2 weeks so you may be further than 4 weeks. Are you going for an early scan? That is so exciting.

Austrajoey: I have been lucky not to experience the trauma of repeated Miscarriages although some of the ladies in here have experience the terrible journey that you have walked. My story is a little different, I fell pregnant with twins last year to loose one twin at 7 weeks and then Harrison my son at 36 weeks 2 days. I am now pregnant again and the stupid thing is that I still find it hard to see pregnant women. Go figure :rolleyes: A number of us figured out a way to deal with seeing pregnant women and babies. It is that we don't know their story, they may have a sad story also. In some ways it helps. I guess if people look at me they wouldn't know my story, they may think that I am having an easy pregnancy but it is far from the truth. Don't know if that helps you babe, but it helps me.
