    Oh sorry I assume everyone knows what I am talking about - he was a character on one of those old sketch comedy shows and he worked in an office and he found something dirty in anything people said and he used to have this funny laugh... I am starting to think only my sister and I ever saw him cause even DH doesnt know him!

    Anyway ignore me - I am nuts

    OMG....yes I know him, I just didn't remember his name. Wasn't it Kelvin?? It was played by Michael Veitch from D-Generation. I loved the one where he was having a driving lesson and saw the traffic sign for HUMP..my brother and I do him all the time at any rude word. LOL, we must have the same sad taste.

    Morning everyone,

    Ok Bailey and Mel, sounds like we are going to have to build a whole separate wing to the nut-house for crappy TV flashbacks (lol) I don't know if I know the Kelvin guy you are talking about but I do remember Charlie the Wonder Dog. I have a friend who has a Golden Retriever named Charlie after CTWD. My DH is addicted to those type of shows and will always come out with lines and I have no idea what he is talking about so he would get along with you Bailey and Mel for sure. He gets so frustrated when I don't get it (lol) Oh and Mel you drongo, of course you can still have Olly as a nickname. Whether I have an Oliver or an Olivia I think it would be cute.

    Tommysmum: Top of the morning to you. How are you today? Well I hope, not long now until your NT scan. How exciting. Thanks for the comments on the names. I haven't told a soul about the flavour of Lil' Spring, only DH and I know. Oh and the ob and the lady who did the scan. I may have also slipped up to a complete stranger a month or so ago but that doesn't count (he he). So it will be a closley guarded secret until bub arrives. Got to have some surprises left. Are you going to find out? I seem to remember reading that you weren't but I could be wrong.

    Well I'll be around all weekend. DH not home this weekend but only 20 sleeps until he is so I am really getting excited. I was going to wash the pooches but it is a little chilly so I think I might go to the shops and get a dose of retail therapy.

    Hi to everyone else.

    Be back later.

    Man you girls can talk. I am gone for 1 night and there is 2 pages!!!

    Bailey & Mel, I thought I was a nutcase!! You two take the title!!!! It was great to wake up this morning and read your wonderful stories though! I agree Spring, they do need there seperate wing in the nuthouse!!! LOL!!!!

    Deb - I am so happy for you. That is excellent news about Col. I know you wanted twins but your ob is right. I am just so happy I can't stop smiling for you

    Nat - sorry I missed your call. I haven't been out in ages so DH and I decided to go on a date. We haven't been on a date in 12 years!!!!! We went to the movies and then were supposed to have dinner afterwards but we ate so much rubbish at the movies that we weren't hungry. I told DH we had to have another date and go to dinner. I think we both felt a bit used of late so we decided to bring some romance back into the relationship. I will buzz you in a sec.

    Mel - I am sorry I missed your posts last night. I'm not sure if you will be on this morning but I will text you as well. I hope you have a great time in Brisbane. Don't worry, any news and I will let you know. Although it will be too early for me. I am having a bt on Tuesday to confirm that I O'd so I will let you know about that. Have a fab time. I am going to miss you

    Bailey - you are such a character!!! You make me laugh. I will text you tomorrow morning to remind you about the books. If you are like this now what are you like when you are pg and have baby brain!!

    Spring - I have changed my mind. You are having a girl. Am I right????????? Come on!!!! Can't blame a girl for trying.

    Chelle - glad to hear from you again. I hope you are doing ok. I think of you often. You are so right about life. I could say some other things but then I would get censored again. I hope you get some answers soon

    Hi to everyone else!

    Well a bit of quiet day for me today. I am going to bore myself and go and watch DH play soccer this afternoon (how rude am I!!!) but it is a bit boring. It isn't like watching Becks play!!!!

    Can't wait for tomorrow chickies. I wish we were all catching up - one day we will. When we all have our screaming, pooing bubbas in our arms and the noise will be beautiful!!!!

    *Tissue Alert*

    Sorry to bring the mood down a bit but I just heard this song on TV sung by Darren Haze (Sp) who used to be in Savage Garden. It was originally by Delta Goodrum. The words just really affected me so I thought I'd share.

    "Lost Without You"

    I know I can be a little stubborn sometimes
    A little righteous and too proud
    I just want to find a way to compromise
    Cos I believe that we can work things out

    I thought I had all the answers never giving in
    But baby since you've gone I admit that I was wrong

    All I know is I'm lost without you I'm not gonna lie
    How am I going to be strong without you I need you by my side
    If we ever say we'll never be together and we ended with goodbye don't know what I'd do ...I'm
    lost without you
    I keep trying to find my way but all I know is I'm lost without you
    I keep trying to face the day I'm lost without you

    How am I ever gonna get rid of these blues
    Baby I'm so lonely all the time
    Everywhere I go I get so confused
    You're the only thing that's on my mind

    Oh my beds so cold at night and I miss you more each day
    Only you can make it right no I'm not too proud to say

    All I know is I'm lost without you I'm not gonna lie
    How am I going to be strong without you I need you by my side
    If we ever say we'll never be together and we ended with goodbye don't know what I'd do ...I'm
    lost without you
    I keep trying to find my way but all I know is I'm lost without you
    I keep trying to face the day I'm lost without you

    If I could only hold you now and make the pain just go away
    Can't stop the tears from running down my face
    Oh

    All I know is I'm lost without you I'm not gonna lie
    How am I going to be strong without you I need you by my side
    If we ever say we'll never be together and we ended with goodbye don't know what I'd do ...I'm
    lost without you
    I keep trying to find my way but all I know is I'm lost without you
    I keep trying to face the day I'm lost without you

    Spring - You said 'I may have also slipped up to a complete stranger a month or so ago but that doesn't count (he he).' Is the (he he) bit a hint for us?? Lol. Only 20 sleeps til DH comes home, how exciting.

    Lynn - I have a permanent baby brain, as you probably saw from Mel's and mine late night banter, I can remember stupid things!

    Tommysmum - I hope the sun stays out like it is now for tomorrow.

    Aargh!! At work and should be serving people, but can't...too scattered...must be Mel's fault Still no AF, only CD32 or something, so it is still early for me, but as I was having cramps, kind of expected it today.

    Hello ladies - here is another tissue alert (thanks Spring for starting me on this one)..one of the mums from our S&K meeting who lost her baby, daughter Katie at 22 weeks (from memory). This special poem makes her believe that she is a mum even though she doesn't have her baby to hold....so this is for everyone....
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>

    What Makes A Mother?

    I thought of you and closed my eyes,
    and prayed to God today.
    I asked what makes a mother;
    and I know I heard Him say:

    A mother has a baby,
    this we know is true.
    But God, can you be a mother
    when your baby's not with you?

    Yes, you can, He replied
    with confidence in His voice.
    I give many women babies;
    when they leave it’s not their choice.

    Some I send for a lifetime,
    and others for a day.
    And some I send them to feel your womb;
    but there's no need to stay.

    I just don't understand this, God
    l want my baby here!
    He took a breath and cleared His throat,
    and then I saw a tear.

    I wish I could show you,
    what your child is doing today.
    If you could see your child smile,
    with other children and say...

    "We go to earth to learn our lessons
    of love and life and fear.
    My Mummy loved me oh so much,
    l got to come straight here”.

    "I feel so lucky to have a Mum
    who had so much love for me;
    I learned my lesson very quickly,
    my Mummy set me free”.

    "I miss my Mummy oh so much
    but visit her each day.
    When she goes to sleep,
    on her pillow there I lay".

    I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
    and whisper in her ear;
    "Mummy don't be sad today,
    l'm your baby and I'm here."

    So you see, my dear sweet one,
    your children are Okay.
    Your babies are here in My home,
    and this is where they'll stay.

    They'll wait for you, with Me
    until your lesson there is through.
    On the day that you come home
    They'll be at the gates for you.

    So now you see what makes a mother;
    lt's the feeling in your heart.
    It's the LOVE you had so much of
    Right from the very start.

    Though some on earth may not realise,
    until their time is done.
    Remember all the love you have
    And know that you are a SPECIAL MUM!
