    How soon did you know?

I had a very strong positive HPT at just 11dpo, and i've had a strong feeling it might be twins??

Did anyone else have this...and how soon did you find out?

    Thanks x

I did a HPT 4 days past when AF was due and the result line was darker than the control line!!

And yes I'm having twins. So maybe you are too??

ETA: I didn't find out I was having twins until my nuchal scan at 13w1d. I'd previously seen the OB who palpated my tummy (only in one spot) so only found one heart beat. You can imagine my shock at the scan - where I was by myself!!!

I tested with an OPK (a very crude hpt, I know) and it came up strong and very quickly.
I found out at 7weeks when I went for my first scan

With my first set, it was much the same, a strong hpt and found out at 8 weeks.

PS, I had a feeling it was twins before I knew too

    Hi

I had very strong morning sicknesses since I was 5.5 weeks pregnant and it was confirmed at my first scan a 6.5 weeks.

    I still have MS now

Thanks for all the info! I've always felt as if I am having twins for some reason. Scan on friday. I have awful m/s too, and my hcg levels are high for gestation. Just have to wait and see, i guess! 8-[

My +hpt was really faint with my twins (I had to ask dh if second line was really there). DH said he thought was twins when I was 10 weeks due to me getting big quick, I put it down to being 2nd pregnancy.

We found out at 12 wk scan that is was twins, needless to say I was a little shocked and all dh did was turn to me and say 'I told you so' lol.

I was like wonderwoman. Got back from a 10 day holiday & DH says Geez, you're big! Was getting a pain in my left side so Dr booked me in for an u/s. He thought it was a cyst. Nope, TWINS! Found out at 12.6weeks. Felt them move a week & 1/2 before & thought I was going mad.

I had a scan at 6 weeks, and there's only one sac. I've had such severe m/s, i've already spent 5 days in hospital on IV fluids because of dehydration! The doctors thought twins was the only explanation, especially as I didn't have any m/s in my last pregnancy. It might be id twins, but who knows... Next scan is in 4 weeks time!!

    Hi Girls,

I spent 4 days in hospital, because I had very painful contractions on Thursday night. One every 5 to 10 minutes. I was scared that they were coming now. I was discharged yesterday. Babies are still inside and well.

My doc wants me to try to hang on to them for another 3 weeks.
    I am still bed ridden.

    Chris,

That must have been scary! I know I dont want to go there again. (27 + 28wks was bad enough!)
You are 33 weeks+! That is fantastic! Another 3 weeks is a pain but the way I see it is the babies will be so much better off. I am hoping with all my heart that these two stay in until 36.

I bet you are nearly climbing the walls being bedridden still!

Chin up sweety. It wont be long.
I wonder how Kelly is going. I am dying to know!

    Love Kel
