Can twins swap?

Whilst pregnant is it possible for twin A to become twin B etc.
Twin A always used to be on my right now twin A is always refered to as the little man on the left.
Also now that B is head down and A is still breech I was wondering if maybe B might kick start things now

Hi Mrs S - I've been reading up how your going and I'm happy things have slowed a bit for you. In the beginning for me Twin A was always on my right side and then after a later scan they switched it up to say Twin A was on my left side. It was more about positioning as to who looked like they were in "Poll Position" so to speak.

As my membranes for both were pretty much at the same place there was no obvious one sitting lower than the other so as the lefty twin was always head down he ended up claiming the title of Twin A as his head is forcing Twin B to sit higher and therefore to come in second place. I just want to make sure that when they come out I get told not if it is Twin A or B but if it is left side or right side as each boy has his own name and I don't want the wrong name for the wrong baby IYKWIM.
