Hi! My name is Kirsten and I am currently finishing up my doula training with the Australia Doula College. I have already finished all my written work, a breastfeeding course this weekend (Oct. 11th), and some labour classes in the works! All I am missing are some lovely mums! Through the Doula College the fee for a trainee doula is $190 for two pre-natal visits, two post-natal visits, and of course oncall until the little one arrives! There will also be an experienced doula oncall if you or I feel we need her. If the price is too much something can be worked out with the college.



Please consider me as your trainee doula! I'm very excited about finishing up my training and moving on with this new career! I have currently been a nanny for nine years and absolutely love it but I am just ready to move onto something a little more challenging but still uplifting!



A little about me? As said above, my name is Kirsten. I am 27 years old and originally from California. I moved to Melbourne in 2006 as my long-time partner is Australian and after meeting in America and living in Europe for a few years we are now having a go at his country! I am very loving. I love little kids; how the cynical world has not reached them yet and they are still capable to be excited by anything and everything. Bright copper kettles, warm woolen mittens, etc. One would say that I also get excited by everything, which I don't mind, I'll worry about myself when I reach a point of not being excited anymore!
