    Baby Shower Games etc... Help!

OK, so I'm organising a baby shower for my cousins daughter (I'm also like her 2nd mum, we're very close).

I want to make it really special for her - I have been to a ridiculous amount of baby showers in the last 12 months, but can only seem to remember a handful of games at all of them

    So!
The one I can remember most is the celebrity/name their baby quiz (thats because mrsmac & I knocked everyone over with our extremely scary expertise in this field!!!!) - and am also doing the 'guess how many cotton balls in the jar' one...

    I need more!!
Please help! - I've bought a HEAP of stuff for prizes... just need the games to play

    Thanks in advance

Google Baby Shower Games and you'll find heaps!

At mine, one of the games was to get each guest to cut a piece of string or wool to the length of what they thought my tummy was if it was wrapped around it (IYKWIM?). The person with the piece closest to my size won.

Another funny one is to give everyone a paper plate and get them to put in on their head while trying to draw a picture of the baby.

I'm sure you'll get some great tips on BB

Jelly Babies frozen in ice cubes, and the person whose baby is "born" first in their drink (no intervention... must be natural birth ) wins. Don't freak out though if it looks like they have gone much in the ice as they don't its just an optical illusion with the ice.

A nappy bucket full of coloured rice and numerous amounts of nappy pins in the bucket. Each person is blindfolded and given 30 seconds to get out as many as they can. The winner gets the most out (you put them back in for each turn after its been recorded).

Have dummies on ribbons for al the guests, whenever anyone says "baby" another guest who points it out gets to take their dummy. The person with the most dummies at the end of the day wins.

Get a doll (with clothes) a terry flat and pins. Everyone has to change the babies nappy (fold the nappy as well) and you time it, the person who does it the quickest wins.

Guess the contents of a nappy bag, get a nappy bag and fill it with all sorts of random things, let everyone see the items for 10 seconds then put them all back in. Then everyone has to write down what there was, the person who remembers the most wins. (If you don't have a nappy bag you can actually just start off with "in my nappy bag there is... and each person says something... then at the end you all write it down)

    This one is my fave...

You get 5 newborn size sposies... melt chocolate bars (crunchie, Mars, snickers etc) and pour them into the nappy (looks like poo hehehe) everyone has to right down on a piece of paper what they think each nappy is (number them) then the winner is the one to guess the most correct. (if you don't want to use chocolate you can used jar baby food)

a favourite at my baby shower was spit the dummy.
If you do niliacs idea with the person with the most dummies etc, you could play this too, every guest gets a dummy to wear then you have to see who can spit their dummy ou the furthest. was absolutely hilarious!
we also did guess the baby food, various jars with no labels and guests had to guess the flavours, sooo gross but funny!

Everyone gets a piece of paper with the alphabet written vertically then you have 2-3 mins(either or) to write a word associated with babies starting with that letter. So like scattergories if that makes sense?

Everone brings a baby photo of themselves but dosnt show anyone, then host puts them all on a board and you have to guess who is who. Whoever gets the most right wins.

    Good luck!

Dress the baby/dolly- See who can dress the doll in the quickest time.

Baby born- Freeze little plastic dolls in ice cubes. Give 1 to each guest, the one whose baby is 'born' (melts) first is the winner.

Paper Plate Babies- Give each guest a white paper plate and a pen/texta. Each person puts the plate on top of their head and draws a picture of a baby. athe picture that most looks like a baby is the winner.

Memory Game- Have a tray with 20 baby items. Give the guests 2 mins to look at everything then cover the items. The person to guess the most items is the winner.

Guess Mum to Be's tummy size - every guest guesses the size of the mum to bes tummy. The person that guesses closest is the winner

    Hope that helps!!

Baby Bingo.. Just like Bingo, but with baby theme

scrambled letters. I just got heaps of words, scrambled the letters and the one who got the most correct won a prize.

My friend also put different flavoured chocolates in nappies (as little poo) and the players had to guess the kind of chocolate..

hehe... I remember you guys wiping the floor with everyone on the name the celebrity baby game!

I thought I could remember more before I opened the thread, but now my mind has gone blank. I do recall having to unjumble the baby-related words. And the bingo cards...

I absolutely detest the clothes pegs and not being able to say the word "baby" thing, but thought I would mention it.

If I recall, Mills got most of her ideas online for mine, I can ask her for her sources if that would be helpful?
