OMG you must have done nothing else all day. DD is annoyed that someone in her English class told them all the ending.

My sister in law finished at 5.30pm and sent me an sms asking me to call when I'd finished to discuss the book!! (little annoyed by that - was trying to keep up with her).

I'd be annoyed too if someone had told me the ending Mrsmac - luckily I'd read some guesses, and made a few of my own, but no-one told me the ending - which added to the excitement!!

Hee hee Loula - I actually HAVE taken books to the loo before - but no, not this time! Even had a break for lunch!

DH has been really good about the whole thing (has come with me to the movies, but not read the book) but I explained it would be the equivalent of Carlton winning a grand final, so he could understand that. I also shouted out plot twists as they happened, so he has a general idea of the story.

Have to get back to reality of housework tomorrow - but I've had such a great day (well, except when I left my purse in the car and DH had to coming flying back just before 8.45with the reciept - that goodness for friends and organised bookshops!)

Captain - keep going - you'll love it!!

Going to bed now - such a long but such a good day!!

Is it the FINAL book, or just like, the first part of the final book? That's what i overheard someone saying on the train, that she's doing another one!? YUK if she is, i've had it up to here with this addiction. LOL

Took me almost EIGHT HOURS to read the dratted thing... that's way too long! (Took me less than six to read book 6, and that was with a huge rant after the HUUUUGE mistake on p17) DS kept wanting to wake up and play! Sort-of luckily he'd had a rotten night's sleep so I got a 3 hour nap about half an hour after I'd bought it.

I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't say "Uh" at the end, although it did end almost as I'd predicted. And Bec, no, there's not really room for more books - unless my other prediction comes true for more Hogwarts books!

But don't believe the rumours about two main characters dying. Although I did get a bit teary in places.

I'm actually a book behind and haven't read Half Blood Prince now. I lent it to a friend and now we have Book 7 in the house I want to read #6 so I can get into the last book. And I better hurry cause DD is currently reading #5 and will want #6 if I don't hurry and start it.

WTG girls for reading it in a day - I don't think my kids would let me!

I believe JK Rowling has given an indication that she may possibly write an 8th Harry Potter book for charity. I would not be surprised in the least given the ending of the book but not sure what direction exactly she could take.

I loved it too I am so happy I got it as I had a good baby weekend, and they both behaved enough for me to get it all read in less than a day
So stoked, I loved the ending, and I hope their will be more Hogwarts books. There is certainly room for them
