When do you get an eternity ring? Is there any set time or event?
Who has one already?
Would ten years of marriage suffice![]()

I always thought it was first wedding anniversary or birth of first child. (I got mine just after birth of first child)
But really it doesnt matter when you get it as long as you do LOL
I got one for my first wedding anniversary but DS was born only 2 weeks beforehand so it was kind of a joint eternity ring/"push present" LOL.
I get a new piece of jewellery for each baby.![]()
i dunno when its gonna happen coz an engagement ring is still supposed to happen and were already married lol
Mine was for our first anniversary also, although alot of people made comments that I was very quick to get one, and it's usually after more years or the birth of the first child. Ultimately I think it comes down to each individual couple.
I do have a feeling DH didn't want years of me pestering him for one so he just went for the first year anniversary lol
I got mine when I was pregnant with DD. We had been married for nearly 6 years. My Mum didn't get hers for something like 15 years.
mine wasn't for anything in particualr...oh except the fact that DH lost both my wedding and engagement rings
eta it was well after the whole first baby first anniversary thing....
I got mine for my first birthday after our first baby was born. Mind you, we'd been married over 10 years by then!
It seems I'm up for one then
Ten year wedding anniversary in March
DH was going to get me one for our first wedding anniversary but stupid me said no as I had other priorities for money and I don't really want to get it to match the wedding/engagement set so thougth I'd wait. But now DD is born I should get onto itWe've been married for 5 years come February.
My Mum is still waiting and they have been married for over 35 years!
I got mine just after DS was born. It's yellow gold channel set with 10 diamonds and I looove it
Considering we're not even married yet, I think your 10 years of marriage definitely suffice! lol
