Anyone tried Google Adwords?

Hi,

I've come across people saying they made money from Google Adwords...

Is this just a scam??

Has anyone had any experience with it? How does it work, and do you actually make money???

I know a company i used to work for did pay out to google for advertising costs, i assume it was adwords, so i'm at least a little more confident its legit...

But i keep seeing all these work from home ideas which just look like a crock to me?!

I use it. I paid a certain amount quite some time ago & it was 10c per hit. It is still going! So I'm pretty pleased with how long my credit has lasted (or maybe I should be worried LOL). But after my web designer played, I come up a lot higher with google now anyway, so don't need it so much anymore...

I more meant that apparently you can get paid by google to actually write the adds - so if i write an add for you biz Linda and Caro clicks on it, you pay google, and i get a portion of that.
